A few days before the banquet.

Lucien slept the entire night right after she arrived from the emperor's chamber. Rosetta and Lillian were surprised since she arrived earlier than the rest. It worried them but she brushed them off that she was tired and needed rest.

She wanted to ask the flowers about the lady who tried to shoot her, but she immediately drifted off to sleep the moment her head lay on the soft pillow.

"My Lady..."

Lucien was woken up by a continuous call and from the sun's rays which directly reflected on her face. She was still in yesterday's clothes in the same position she had slept.

"Ugg!! I have nothing to do. Let me sleep for a few more hours." She grumbled turning to the other side of the wall, wrapping herself with the blanket.
