Chapter 2: Info and Terminology
[Due to the environment and how long elementals have already been persecuted, none of the characters would need this stuff explained to them. Because of that I'm just making a sheet of this information 🤓]
Elementals~ these are magic wielders who possess the powers of (you guessed it) the elements. Some just call them Elements for short. They contain second forms made of the elements they represent.
Types: fire, water, air, earth (plant and rock based)
: Wraiths/darkness and Luminaries/light...ness? (They aren't actually Elementals because they don't actually control any of the elements. Basically the only people who make that mistake are the humans... and everyone influenced by humans... so basically everyone😐😧😟, BuT tHaT's FiNe!) Neither types need a magical heritage to be born that way, but are made more powerful if they have at least one Elemental parent. They are born in pairs with the same birthday but different parents. Not much else is known about Wraiths because they are typically hunted young. Luminaries are less feared, but are more treasured as scouts and muscle for the army.
Suspecteds~ people who haven't been tested to determine whether or not they are an Element. In other words, people SUSPECTED of being Elementals.
Muddies ~ this is a derogatory term for those of mixed heritage (human and elemental). They don't possess a second form, but still have some of the magical abilities. (Ex: Fire Muddy or Air Muddy)
