Chapter 3: Pregnant?
Not long after, and before they knew it, they were in Kyle's bedroom, stripping eachother of their clothes unhurriedly. Since Mollie had no intention of stopping, Kyle didn't stop either or it could maybe ruin their only night together. She didn't know whether it was the right thing to do but what she knew was that she wanted him. She really wanted him!
"After Their Funtime"
They had totally forgotten about the concert that they were at earlier. Oh well, it's not like they could have had a better time at the concert than they had had in Kyle's room.
They exchanged numbers and on Mollie's phone, Kyle's contact was called Karen so that her parents would not get suspicious if they were to see her contact list. They also only ever called and never texted so that her parents could not see what they were saying to eachother.
Kyle drove her home late at night and vanished before Mollie's parents could spot him. Mollie walked into her house very joyfully.
At first, her mum was a bit concerned about why she could be so joyful but she normally is so she was thinking too much. And anyway, she went to see her favourite music artist play at the concert for the first time! There's no doubt that she would come back home very happy.
'Hey darling, how was the concert? I bet you really enjoyed it.' Mollie's mum asked.
'Oh why, yes ofcourse!' Mollie smiled even more then giggled to herself saying, 'Thank you so much for letting me go, it was the best experience in the world!'
'You didn't do anything bad, did you?' Her mum was very worried, 'no drugs, or kissing right? And no talking to strangers?'
Mollie put on a suprised look, 'mother, you really think I would do that after all you have brought me up to be like? Ofcourse I didn't,' she lied.
'Alright, then. As long as you're safe,' her mum walked up to Mollie from the kitchen and gave her a great big hug. 'Now angel, do you want some dinner?'
'No thankyou mum, it's already 1am and I'm pretty tired from all the singing and dancing. I think I'll just get some rest and then have a big breakfast in the morning.' Mollie yawns.
'Okay lovely, goodnight,' she gives her daughter a big kiss on the forehead and smiles, 'mwah'.
Mollie smiles back then walks away. She starts to walk up the stairs and thinks about the great night she had just had with Kyle. She had a great big smile on her face.
Meanwhile, Kyle was sitting on his bed contemplating whether what they did was a good thing or not. What would happen if her parents were to find out? How would he be punished? He would probably never be able to see Mollie again.
"Monday, School Grounds"
Mollie and Kyle were super nervous to see eachother again. Wouldn't it be extremely awkward? People might get suspicious if they were to be too weird around eachother.
To their surprise, they could talk to eachother much easier than
before, especially Kyle considering how awkward he used to be while talking to her.
Mollie walks into music class and searches for Kyle with her eyes. She finds him at the left corner of the room playing on his guitar. She walks up to him and they catch each others gaze.
Mollie is the first one to smile. It is a very soft and gentle smile, different to her usual ones. It shows that she is very comfortable at this moment.
Kyle also makes the same smile, then they just stand there for a few minutes looking at eachother. Kyle breaks the staring contest and puts his guitar down then clears his throat, 'how are you?' this was the only thing he could say right now.
Mollie also clears her throat and says, 'I'm great, so great!'
'That's good, then,' he replies.
'How about you, Kyle?' Mollie slightly tilts her head.
'I, I don't know how I feel right now,' Kyle furrows his brows.
'Why, what's wrong? Is it because of the other night?' Mollie whispered. She started to get worried that he might have regretted making love with her. She frowned, 'do you regret it?'
'What? No, ofcourse not!' he quickly replied, worried that she would get the wrong idea.
'Then what is it, if you don't mind me asking?' she asked.
'Not at all, it's just that I'm worried that you might regret it. Or that your parents will find out and get you into trouble. And what if I get into trouble too? I might not be able to see you again.' Kyle explained worriedly.
'Kyle, don't worry. If that does happen, let's just enjoy our time together for now before it does.' Mollie comforted Kyle, 'and don't you worry, I will definitely never regret it!'
Kyle smiled, 'Thank you.' Mollie smiled back at him and sat opposite him and started writing stuff.
"A Couple Weeks Later"
Mollie gets really sick. She has never been this ill in her entire life. She just won't stop throwing up all the time. This has prevented Mollie from going to school for the past 3 days.
Kyle starts to get worried about Mollie's absence at school. What could have happened to her? After school that day, Kyle decides to call her.
'Ring ring! Ring ring!' Mollie's phone starts to vibrate, there is a call for her. She looks down at her phone on her bedside table while sitting up on her bed. She reads the caller name, it's Kyle!
She jumps us from her bed and gets her earplugs out from her bedside table draw. Plugs it in to her phone, put the earbuds into her ears and answers the call.
The call has connected! Kyle gets really happy that she has answered her phone. He waits for her to speak first so he knows it is Mollie.
'Hello, Kyle!' Mollie says happily but quietly. He could tell by her voice that she isn't well.
'Mollie, are you alright? You don't sound very well,' Kyle asks. 'You haven't been at school for a few days, I was worried about you.'
'Oh yeah, I'm so sorry about that. I really haven't been well that past few days,' she explains, 'I've been throwing up non-stop, sigh.'
'Well, I hope you do get better very soon because you're missing a lot of the class. It's nearly the end of the year too.' Kyle says, 'but I also miss you very much, and it makes me feel bad that I can't be with you when you aren't very well.'
'Kyle, I miss you too, and hopefully I'll get better soon,' Mollie says helplessly. 'I'm going to the hospital to see what's wrong with me tomorrow!'
'Yeah, good idea. I'll wait for you to come back to school then.' Kyle smiles, 'I have to go now, so I'll see you soon hopefully.'
'Yes, yes, ofcourse!' Mollie gets excited that she will see him soon, 'oh and, Kyle?'
'Yes, Mollie?' Kyle asks.
'I want you to know that I love you.' Mollie says.
Kyle opens his eyes wide, 'really? Mollie I love you too!' Mollie giggles from hearing this.
"The Next Day"
Mollie heads off in a taxi on the way to the hospital. When she gets there, she is determined to get rid of whatever is wrong with her! She just wants all the pain to go away. She walks up to the receptionist and signs a piece of paper and tells the receptionist why she is here.
Mollie waits patiently in the waiting room. During the waiting time, she has gone to the bathroom several times to throw up. Around half an hour later, a nurse comes up and calls her name, 'Mollie Harrison? For a check up!'
Hearing her own name, she jumps up and puts her hand up to show the nurse that it is her. The nurse tells her to follow her to the room. When she gets to the room, she is told to sit down on the bed and wait for the doctor to come.
A few minutes later, Mollie's doctor walks in and asks her a few questions about how she is feeling and what effects she has been having. The doctor then walks to a table not far away and picks up a tube then gives it to Mollie, 'miss, I will need you to give me a pee sample.'
'Oh, um okay.' Mollie agrees.
'Miss, there is a 40% possibility that you are pregnant, and a 60% possibility that you are just having a lack of sleep and food.'
As soon as Mollie hears the words pregnant, she takes a big gulp and her heart starts to race very fast. But when she hears lack of sleep and food, it could also just be that because she has been working hard recently and not getting much sleep and maybe she just needs to eat more too. Thinking this, she starts to calm down.
She nods and walks to the toilet with the tube that she needs to pee in. 5 minutes later, she comes out of the toilet with a sample of her pee in the tube and gives it back to the doctor.
'Now, I will check the sample to see what is wrong with you,' he smiles, 'just wait here.'
Mollie forces herself to smile back. She doesn't want to show that she is scared of being pregnant. Well to be honest, she isn't scared of the fact that she could be pregnant, but she's scared of what her parents will say. And most importantly, what Kyle would say. Anyway, she saves all the worrying of that until after the results come back because she might not even be pregnant at all.

A while later, she was playing on her phone and the doctor walked back in and said, 'excuse me, miss. I have your results.'
Mollie's eyes lit up in an instant. She swallowed.
'Are you ready for your results?' The doctor asked.
The doctor picked up the paper with the results and read through. He looked at Mollie with a smile. Mollie smiled and nodded.
The doctor then said, 'congratulations miss, you are pregnant!' he made a big smile at her and passed her the results.
