Chapter 10: Happy Noonday
Finally the noonday came. Ray showed up just at 6 am..... like he said. He wasn't late even by a second. Last time we could not complete our conversation. So , I was eagerly waiting for Noonday, to meet him. And that's why I was really anxious last night. So, I could hardly sleep. And when I saw light / rays outside I quickly got up to get ready. That's why I was fully ready when Ray came.
Ray brought a bag with him. It was on his hands. He had hidden the bag behind his back. But I had already seen a little bit of it. I was surprised seeing the bag. Cause ever since I've came in here I have never seen anything like that. I had already believe that they only have technology, hologram and stuff like that. I never thought that they would have paper. I was wondering where he got that bag from..... But whatever I was thinking it was on my head..... I didn't Ray found out even a single thought of mine as I kept the excited face. After coming infornt of the door he greeted me with a sweet smile....
" Hi..... Good morning ", Ray said with a sweet refreshing smile. " Hey.... Good morning ", I also replied him with a cute sweet smile and I invited him to come inside the house...... "Happy Noonday ", he wished me while going inside the house. " Happy noonday to you too ". "So, are you ready??? ", He asked me as he looked around the house..... "Yeah " " Good and are you excited? " "yeahhh ", I said out loud.
"Great, did you pack up?? I mean if you need anything then you should pack them up.... " he explained his sentence.
" Yeah... Don't worry I've packed up a few things...." Then I showed him the little circle mirror. Well that wasn't a mirror that was a bag that they use as backpack. Hearing me he nodded and then he hold the bag infornt of me..... Pretending to be surprised I asked him about the bag.... " What's that?? Isn't that a bag??? I thought you guys didn't have these kinds of things. Anyways what's inside the bag? " I asked with curiosity.
" Umm... I brought you a dress ", he said shyly. He gave me the bag. " A dress ??? Let me see..... Ooh..... Same clothes .... ", I sighined a little in dissatisfaction. Actually ever since I am here I've wearing their type of dress which are either made of nano tech or of nitinol, or of carbon polymer. I've been sick of wearing these dresses.... These dresses are full of color and they look really beautiful..... But they are not comfortable at all.
And the dress that Ray had brought for me was also made of nano tech.... This dress is beautiful..... It's a long dress, its color is light purple with beautiful pearls on the neck forming different kinds of patterns and single pearl all over the dress, it isn't too revealing also it's really elegant. It's prefect..... But however I prefer to comfortable dress . And that's why I didn't like it that much.
"Same clothes?? Ooh sorry I had no idea that you already have one of this design's dress," he said little bit embarrassingly. "No it's not about that " I said frankly . " What is it about then?? " he asked anxiously. " It's the clothes.... I'm not comfortable in these clothes.... I want to wear something of cotton or wool," I said with an upset face . He chuckled hearing me " Ooh so, this is what it's about....!! Ook..... No problem.... How about we go for shopping.... You can buy what you are comfortable in..... And don't worry it'll be on me, " he said excitedly.
"Wow.... Shopping!!" hearing the the word shopping I became really excited.... But all my enthusiasm was gone when I thought of their cloth materials.... And then in a discouraged voice I questioned him "Shopping is cool..... But do you guys have Earth's cloth materials?? " "Earth's cloth materials??? What are they? " he asked in confusion. " well, you know like viscose, wool, nylon, silk, cotton, bost fibers etc. " " Cotton, wool, silk and nylon are available in here.... But they are not available in the modern markets. Maybe they are available in the ancient market. "
"Ooh..... Ok, so you guys have modern and ancient difference even in markets.....??? " " Yeah, isn't it obvious?? Why don't you guys have something like this back on Earth??? " " Nope..... I mean I don't think so.... " "Well, you should have..... It's really helpful." " Yeah I know. Ummm..... But you see we are not as advanced as you guys. So, it's kinda unrealistic for us. " He chuckled hearing the word unrealistic...... "Unrealistic Yeah that's also right..... How poor of you guys ", he teased me. I understood that he was teasing me that's why I thought of playing along with him.... " Yeah I know how poor of us, right??? (making a pitiful face) Well, you should help us Ray....!!" " Of course, why not?? There is no problem in that. But tell me something do you wanna go for shopping or not??? "
" Yeah of course, why not?? There is no chance that I'm going to miss this opportunity... " " OK then what are you waiting for?? Let's go...." " Yeah let's go..... Well, what about this dress? " I looked at him nervously .... I was only hoping that he doesn't ask me to wear it. " Well, since you are not comfortable in it then leave it in here," he said politely.
We went outside of the house. Ray knew that I was uncomfortable with the vanishing thing...... That's why he didn't do the vanishing thing to come here. Instead of doing the vanishing thing he came here by car. Well, I knew that Ray is intelligent and considerate but I never expected him to remember these little things about me. I am really grateful to him.... For all those that he was doing for me and had done for me. I kinda consider myself lucky to be able to meet him in this lifetime.
Well, the car that he had brought was super cool..... Apparently the coolest model I've ever seen. I was astonish seeing the car. When we went closer to the car he opened the door for me and told me to sit inside.
" Miss cutie..... Please.." Ray said with a smile on his face. I chuckled hearing him calling me miss cutie. I was aware of the fact that I'm cute but no one has ever called me miss cutie before. I kinda felt happy hearing him. " Thank you", I thank him in a Royal manner. " Watch your head ", Ray warned me .
