Chapter 6: Academy (Last Part)
Mikoru wakes up on the sofa, he looks around and sees that he is still in Fina's office, He feels ashamed that he falls asleep while Fina is tutoring him.
He quickly gets up and leaves the office leaving a letter behind.
It's been an hour and the bell rangs, the class will start in a few minutes, Mikoru quickly grabs his things and goes into the class.
The first class is Potion Making, Amaria walks towards Mikoru, "Hey Mikoru.... I'm sorry," Mikoru looked at her confused and asked why she was sorry. Amaria looked at him and explained what happened yesterday.
"I'm kidding, I forgive you already," Mikoru looked at her and smiled, The teacher for potion making class comes in, an old woman wearing a robe walks in front of the class and introduces herself.
"I'm your substitute teacher for now that Professor Theo is away, you kids can call Ma'am Eita." All the students greet her and sit Eita starts the class.
After a while of listening and learning how to make potions, the bell rangs and all the students go to their next class, Mikoru and Amaria walk together to their next class.
The next class is taking place inside a dome, Mikoru asks Amaria what is the next class and is it taking place inside a dome.
"The next class is dueling class, inside that dome is where all the students learn how to duel and perfect their way of fighting." Amaria said.
Inside the dome there are many students who are practicing their fighting styles some are using magic combined with weapons.
The instructor comes in, he is a large man bigger than a normal human, he is wearing armor, and carrying a large sword on his back.
All the students turn their attention to him.
"Ready yourselves, you kids will fight each other." The instructor said, he was pretty straight forward, he didn't even introduce himself he just said what the students will do.
"I'll choose who will fight, starting with you." he points to Mikoru that is standing on the side, "And you" he points to the purple hair kid.
"Huh?! Why do I have to fight with that commoner kid?!" The purple hair kid shouts in anger.
"Are you yelling at me?" The instructor replied, with a scary look on his face.
"No..." The purple hair kid replied, he looks scared
"I see... well then let's start the match." The instructor walks to the side and sits on the chair.
All the kids are cheering on the purple hair, he is popular, Mikoru remembers that he got beaten by this kid at the sword class.
But this time they're not using a weapon so there is a higher chance of winning this. that's what he thought but the match is clearly not going on his way he is getting obliterated.
The purple hair kid continued to use magic without getting tired, Mikoru tried to use the black flame he summons before but it's not appearing.
"You can't even use magic, what makes you think that you can beat me?" The purple hair kid insults him, the kid summons a large block of Ice and uses it to hit Mikoru.
Mikoru lost the match and saw Amaria running towards him before he passed out.
He wakes in the infirmary, Fina is sitting beside him.
"What happened to your magic Mikoru?" Fina said with a sad look on her face.
"I don't know, I can summon it clearly yesterday but now I can't even feel it." Mikoru replied.
"It seems like you can't control your magic." Fina said. she holds Mikoru's hand.
"Don't worry Mikoru I'll teach you how to control your magic properly." Fina said she looked at Mikoru and continued to encourage him.
Mikoru gets out of his bed and starts stretching, he looks at Fina and says, "When do we start?"
