"Irade!" Käwsär yelled out, panicking. He reached out to her, but could only watch as she drank from the river.

She gulped down the water greedily, cold liquid slipping though her fingers. The chilly breeze didn't help, piercing the cold to her bones in her fingers and hands. She gasped, the sensation of liquid ice sliding down her throat and into her body, her hands aching.

Irade ignored the cold and Käwsär's yells. She sat back in a cross-legged position, and started meditating once more.

In...out.

Breathe.

Focus.

The warmth of her core radiated through her body again, making her forget the coldness of the water. Once again, she focused on the magic coursing through her body.
