Chapter 1: Tea with Goddess
As I floated around in this white void, all I could think was, "Where the hell am I?!?"
My shout resonated around, but "Hmm, I remember dying, and then when I opened my eyes, voila, everything is blank white"
Floating in sleep position I closed my eyes; I mean What else can I do? There is nothing to do here. At first, I did what any other guy would have done in zero gravity: I played around, but I became bored sooner than I expected.
"la, lalalallal, laaaaaa" Another second or day of my monotonous life, sigh. "Send me to hell or heaven, but what is this torture room?" I yelled again.
"Ahem, forgive me for delay" Suddenly, a female voice said, "Hmm, why did my echo sound strange?" I covered my chin and began pondering.
"It's not your Echo" Turning my head towards the voice, I saw an anime girl in flesh, with pink hair, wide eyes, and an innocent expression. "Now I'm hallucinating," I groaned, wondering what would become of me.
"You are not hallucinating either," the Pink head stated.
"Pink head?" Are you not being too rude?" the girl asked. "Wait, did you just read my mind?" My eyes widened.
"I am a God you know, It's easy for me" The pink-haired girl smiled and spoke sweetly, unaware that I had already designated her as a pervert.
"Can you please stop with this unnecessary thought, I am Nemesis, Goddess of Karma, here to judge you" Suddenly, the happy-go-lucky attitude gave way to a serious one, the white space vanished, and I found myself in...a court?
Omni Pov and Jake Pov
"Huh?, Is this the court of Earth style?" Jake inquired, looking around.
"Yes," Nemesis, who is now sitting in the Judge's seat, nodded.
"Have a Seat" She snapped her fingers, and a chair and a table filled with snacks and tea appeared.
Gulping hard, I took my seat, and then the tea pot levitated and poured tea into the cup, which moved towards me. I looked up and saw her drinking the tea, and gathering my courage, I drank it as well. "It's sweet and refreshing.." Well, the tea was excellent.
"Now that you've calmed down, let us get back to business," Nemesis said calmly, adjusting her glasses.
"Business? Will you judge me and then send me to hell or heaven?" I inquired, taking a mouthful of a round cookie. God's sweets are truly tasty.
"Yes and NO, Do you remember how you died?" She asked.
"Hmm, I jumped along with the suicide bomber" I said calmly, I'm not sure why, maybe because I'm already dead, but I'm taking this too lightly.
"Yes, now that bomber was supposed to blow up that floor and the floors above and below that floor, leading to death of daughter of your country president, And thus started the World War III and whoosh, over 93% of your world population perished by the end of that war" Nemesis responded by picking up the report and passing it onto
I almost spitted the tea, 93% that is too great of a number, and I prevented that , Looking at her I asked " Now what will happen to me?" I honestly felt scared, after all from her words it's easy to understand I stopped something that was supposed to happen, although I did a good thing but I did changed the Future, and this serious atmosphere is killing me.
"You will be rewarded" She said seriously.
Jake : "Ehh?"
"I mean, you did save your world right?, Of course you will be rewarded" She smiled and said.
'Then why the serious atmosphere?' I mentally screamed, Earlier I almost got a heart attack.
"You are funny, How can soul have a heart attack" Nemesis chuckled and remarked.
Oh yes, I forgot she was a mind reading perv.."Ahem, let's talk about your rewards, For saving approximately 13 Billion people, you are granted 5 wishes!!" She out of no where brought out a big banner, which has 5 wishes written on it.
"You.....Are you an otaku?" I seriously asked.
"W-what ar-are you talking about? o-otaku, what it even means?" She suddenly started fidgeting with her hairs, seriously she does not even know how to lie.
Shaking my head I asked " I can ask for any Five things with those wishes?"
"Yes, any thing, but if you ask something too powerful it might require more than one wish" She explained.
"Hmm, then my first wish is Eternal Soul, you can check my memories right, it's that same thing" Jake thought for a moment and then said.
"Let me calculate it...Okay, it will take 2 wishes, do you accept?" She brought out a tablet like thing and after fidgeting it with some time asked.
"Yes" I agreed after all, it's an op skill, it's normal it will cost more.
"Your third wish" She asked.
I stated thinking, trying to find out best skill or ability I can ask for "I want a skill, it's 'Copy, Cut and Paste' "
"Okay, it will only take one wish, it is from that anime right?" She nodded and then asked.
As expected she was an otaku, "Next will be skill similar to Lord of Wisdom, do you have any?" Jake then asked.
"hmm, let me check...Oh there is one , it's called 'Celestial Scholar's Insight: Sophrosyne' " Another swiping of her tablet, and then she told the result.
"Okay, I will take that" Jake nodded, from it's name, it's sounds powerful too.
"As for my last wish, I want, my own personal Dimension, Like those of Divine Dimension, soul Dimension and such" Jake said.
"Okay, it's the most easy one, of all your wishes, plus it will only take around 70% of your 5th wish power, so I will strengthen it more with the rest 30%" She nodded and then said.
"Now that you have accepted the wishes , let me do a last check on them" She then started carefully reading the tablet, I tried to peek at the tablet but the only thing I saw was blank screen.
"Hmm, You still have 1.5 wish left" She said.
"How? or how I even got wishes?" I asked.
"Hmm, in most simple terms, One wish for every 2 billion people saved, originally one of your wish was automatically assigned as reincarnation wish but One of Eternal Soul ability is Infinite Reincarnation, that's why, the reincarnation wish was no longer needed and half wish came from the one billion people, making it a total grand of 1.5 wish" She explained.
"So that's how it works, then let me think of my last wish" Jake after understanding started carefully thinking trying to remember all the cheats.
"Can I suggest something?" Suddenly Nemesis asked.
"you can, but I might not listen to your suggestion?" Jake nodded and said.
"How about Gacha?" She said with sparkling eyes.
