Chapter 14: Vera against Anna 2
On their way to the middle building, Anna and William ready there weapons. Anna was using her MP40 as she was going in first due to her being able to suppressed them if there is an enemy, since Kar98k is not sufficient to suppressed them.
William tried to open the door, but it was lock so he decided to just kick down the door, and until the lock is finally broken and the door fall down inside the house in the ground. Anna took the first step inside the house, her breath was slowly rising.
William was covering her from the back, He ready his Kar98k, as they were clearing the room slowly. "William clear the Main floor, I'll take care of the second floor. If you see an enemy don't hesitate to shoot." Anna declared her orders.
"Ja Frauen Gruppenführer." William answered, while Anna continue going to the second floor to clear the rooms, while William on the other hand would clear the first floor.
Williams heart was beating faster than ever, he has his guard up. But his breath is getting heavier, he was slowly getting scared. The first floor has many rooms and corners need to be cleared.
"Stay calm at all times." William then took another step, he cleared first the kitchen as it was clean and messed up due to the war.
"The Kitchen is clear." He begun to check some of the drawers just in case if he saw some soldiers hiding behind them.
But nothing, he keeps searching the main floor until he saw another room that is just under the stairs. He begun to approach it, his breath became heavier, his heart begun to beat faster, his forehead begun to sweat. The smell of fear was now lingering around him.
He reached for the doorknob, as his heart guess it right. It was an ambush. A Russian soldier then lunge himself towards William, which he drops the gun as he got tackled to the ground.
"Grrrrr!!! You Nazi!" The Soldier shouted, while he bring out the knife and was now about to stab William towards his heart.
Anna on the other hand, was busy clearing the second floor room. She was clearing every room as fast as she can, she was finally at the bedroom. Until she heard the loud thud in main floor.
She was about to run, until Vera came out of the closet and shove Anna into the wall. Causing to drop her MP40 to the ground. Vera on the other hand quickly grabs the knife on her back and she was about to struck her down into her throat.
Vera was pushing Anna into the wall that makes her movement limited, but she retaliated with all of her might, by moving her head at the right time just avoiding the knife that almost struck her in the throat.
Vera was surprise, but she tried to pull out the knife from the wall, but Anna on the other hand she uses her helmet to headbutt Vera into her forehead that stun her for a second.
This gave Anna the chance to escape from her domain, and she kicked Vera into the ground with all of her might. "Tsk!" Anna clicked her tongue as she almost got killed.
Vera was bleeding in her head, that headbutt was already strong enough. But Vera was strong, a damage like that won't be able to take her down or even kill her.
"You fucker, you're going to pay for that." Vera then ready herself by forming a fist in her hands, and dash towards Anna which she ready herself.
Vera was the first one to throw a right punch towards Anna, which Anna then grabs her right hand, and redirected the punch to avoid it. While in the process Anna then formed a fist and throw a right hook towards the face of Vera, but Vera took the punch and she countered it by using her left hand to throw a powerful punch towards the abdomen of Anna.
Anna then cough some saliva, this disrupt the breathing of Anna. While Vera stands up and grab the helmet of Anna and throw it to the ground.
"You bastards! You are the cause for this mess in my homeland!" Vera shouted, but Anna tackled Vera to ground.
Anna was on the top now, which Vera then covers her face with her hands. Anna begun to throw multiple punches towards the face of Vera, which got blocked by her hands.
Anna wasn't hesitating to deal some heavy blow towards Vera. Since it was only just a matter of time before she finally gives up.
William was still busy dealing with the soldier, he was about to be struck down in the heart with a knife, but William then grabs the wrist of the soldiers and shoves the soldier to there right switching there position.
"AAAAA!!!" William shouted his war cry, as he throw his right fist towards the soldier's face.
His fist connected one after another, each blows deals a deadly strike which leaves a mark in the face of the enemy while the teeth of the soldiers begun to flung in the process. His punch was heavy like a brick, he didn't gave the soldier to fight back. But finally in his last strike, the fist was enough to make the soldier goes unconscious in the process.
But, Vera and Anna wasn't done yet. Vera then forcefully uses her entire body to escape from the grasp of Anna which she was success. Anna then fell down as Vera then stood up as quick as possible which she run down towards the MP40 that is on the ground.
But Anna, then grabs her helmet and throws it at Vera who got hit in the head and stumbling in the process. "That's for punching me in my abdomen you bitch." Anna who was angered by this. Which she grabs her MP40 in the ground and look at Anna.
"I hope you have some last word before if I kill you." Anna then points her MP40 at Vera.
"Сука." Vera smiled.
"Tsk." Anna grab the gun in the barrel, and she then smash it towards the head of Vera which puts Vera into unconscious state.
"We aren't going to kill you yet, we're going to need some information for the likes of you." Anna then drags Vera's body towards the Main floor.
William was at the first floor, he was currently guarding the body that he beat to the ground. He almost died because of his punches were too strong.
"Anna! You're fine!" William then approached Anna which he found Vera was being dragged out of the stairs.
"A Prisoner, she might be helpful towards our officers." Anna said, while she look behind William and saw the guy who is still unconscious.
"William hold her for a second." Anna stated, which she gave Vera to him.
Anna then approached the unconscious man in the ground, which she pulled out her P-38 and shoots him dead. This puts a shock towards William.
"A dead man must tell no tales." Anna declared... it was a war crime.
"Now, let's go. We mustn't delay our progress even further."
William just stood their, he knows that she can do those without hesitation. But happening right in front of his face was shocking for him. The man was already unconscious and unable to fight back.
He knows that he killed people, but seeing them up close always brings his heart to the ground.
Anna then continued to drag Vera outside the house.
"Shit... That was too much even for me." William was shaking a bit, but he needs to remember that this is war, and war will not stop at nothing until it's done.
