Chapter 56: Chapter PoV Vailein
Big boss Audino helps Pidgeot escape his egg, but it's no longer Pidgeot. Articuno is his new form, a legendary Pokemon. According to the specifics of legendary Pokemon Pidgeot is again a baby Pokemon, it's growth will be slow but it will naturally stop after it reaches Pseudo-champion stage. Of course training can increase the cap, or really hard training can do the same. Since Articuno used to be my Pidgeot it is used to harsh training.
But enough about that, now that everyone of my Pokemon is strengthened I ask a group of Gothitelle to teleport me my Pokemon and the Humvee that Houndoom brought to my home. Medicham can provide the location, the Gothitelle the transport. They accept and prepare a 5 pointed star. I return all Pokemon that I have with me and see a small but curious Zorua looking at us. A Zoroark hopes that we can give it a home of someone who will go on adventures in the future, I know just the person. We take the Zorua and enter the 5 pointed star. Everything goes down for a few seconds, the world seems to crumble around us. Then when it starts to feel that we crumble the world suddenly gets rebuilt with us as the center. Now we stand in a barn that can store a large truck.
Mavs parents are the first on the scene and see us all together. Iluna and Lynn are next followed by Argi. My parents are guiding a group of kids around so they don't come and look. We hand the Poke-balls containing the Pokemon we liberated from the ruins to Argi and Iluna. Then I hand the Zorua to Iluna and give them 5 minutes to come to a compromise. After telling them what we brought in the shortest version we can, we teleport back quickly. We only have 6 hours left to show up at any entrance before the teachers come looking. Once back we say goodbye to the tribes again and start on our last 80km to the resupply point. We arrive just before nightfall.
We resupply again with a great overstock of supplements, but with our new storage bags that no longer is an issue, well except hiding that storage capacity from the school. Then we spent the night near one of the entrances as requested by the teachers. The next morning we get up and plan to start running. A few teachers give us a quick talk and a few points for what we recorded. 3 teachers have been dispatched to the ruins, to see if they can convince the Goodra to become our protectors in exchange for food. We wish them luck and set out for real this time.
Our target, a barren mountain with a mysterious mansion halfway up said mountain. Before we needed 2 days to pass 300 km to the mansion. Now we still need 2 days but that is because we start from a wrong entrance. We have to go 400 km to reach the mansion. During the run all Pokemon that would have bothered us before are too scared to make a move thanks to our king stage Pokemon. We arrive at the mansion without any events. Though our food supply is not running low we prefer fresh meat. So we do what we always did for food, we hunt a few Pokemon and prepare them for consumption.
After resting the night we go about the proper way to enter a mansion, we move to the gate and press the bell. When we press the button the gate opens instantly, with a creepy creaking sound. All our Pokemon show up around us and we enter at a very slow pace. When we are 10 meters past the gate a Alakazam, with a black butler costume wrapped around him, greets us. It's voice is heard through the air
"Hello humans, welcome to the Pokemon Mansion, what is your purpose for visiting here?"
"We wish to get information about what this place represents, and what it's purpose is." Answers Janfa in a gentle voice, guess I am not the only one who can feel that this Alakazam can kill us all in seconds. While we are looking nervous the Alakazam responds to us politely:
"We are a Pokemon run hotel of sorts, in exchange for specific resources you can spend the night here. We also offer training programs for every Pokemon in the world. In the old world we trade information as well. In this new world we still have yet to establish our information network like that, so for now that is out. If a trainer gets approved after some tests and a willing Pokemon is present, sometimes one will follow the trainer from then on." This answer shocks us. All known Pokemon means that they are able to help Pokemon grow till they become champion rank, if it has that talent.
"What kind of items would get one of our Pokemon to be trained here for a month?" I ask with rapt attention.
"One item for the Pokemon in question, and one 500 year old item of a random type, I think you would call them top quality items for any Pokemon type." Says the Alakazam.
"That means 1 billion Poke per month of training, that is expensive even for the rich families. Sadly I cannot afford it at this point. Can I ask if you also sell training plans?"
"Yes we do, we have several training plans for each Pokemon so state your request."
"A way to train Honedge into a champion stage Pokemon in the form of Doublade, without damaging it's health, preferably without needing life force from the host."
"For the training plan needed the price is 2 1000 year old materials. But we can tell you the part, about no longer needing life force, for 100 catties of edible objects preferring berries and meat. Come back when you have it." We get teleported outside the mansion with a wave of its paw. I guess they are running out of food in that mansion too.
"I am sorry but 1000 year objects most likely don't exist yet in this world, this world is in contact with your old world for no more than 100 years. From some pocket dimensions we can salvage 500 year items, but that seems to be the current maximum. The larger parts of your world that might be growing objects to be 1000 years or 10000 years old have yet to connect, and I guess a war will happen because of those items. So you are basically asking for impossible items. Can we substitute it with something else?"
"Only training items, food and information is useful for us, so if you can provide us with information about the basics of this world we can give it as well." Once we heard this each of us asks for a piece of paper and start writing about what we currently know about the world.
