Chapter 11: Living In Fantasy World Rocks!

Out of the two of us, the menacing mutant-like rabbit made its first move.

By emitting a heavy, pressuring, ominous blue-glow radiation out of its body––

It might be a little bit too specific, I described it as radiation because of the terrifying sound that action created.

Both the glow and sound were similar to the nuclear rod that was dropped when making a nuclear reaction.

Obviously, I wouldn't really come to this conclusion if I didn't watch that one particular science video on the internet. All trivialities considered, I'm very horrified!

Like, that thing was taking a rather ominous stance! Opening both arms while giving me a forward leaning gaze, as if I insulted their mother or something!

While I attempted to defuse the conflict by jumping away as fast as I could, the rabbit centaur swayed one of its open arms forward.

From that gesture, numerous thin golden strings appeared almost instantaneously. They were connected to the ground below me, as though they were already attached beforehand only to be activated right now. It also disappeared as fast as it appeared.

Soon after, a wall of flaming circles combusted out of the ground below me, trapping this innocent jello from the freedom outside.

That-that was, so cool! Magic does exist in this world! Although it really looked like they were committing nuclear fusion in front of me before using the energy to create this unnatural fire—it was still amazing! I mean, I'm in mortal danger, but it was still cool as hell!

Regardless, I guess that it was the time to switch my flight-or-fight response. So instead of lounging around like a good prey, I lunged out of the wall of flame like the impatient metal blob I am.

A mild feeling of burning was felt on the surface of my body, but there weren't any lasting effects as I jumped around like a rabbit more than the rabbit in the vicinity.

The fire didn't affect me in the slightest, fortunately.

Curiously, I hopped back into the ring of fire, and then out of the ring again. I checked my body and shrugged. I took no damage.

It was probably at this moment, I have slightly confirmed what kind of Metal Slime I am.

I jumped back once again and stayed on the edge of the ring for a couple of seconds to see how durable my metal body was. This unhinged act of mine seemed to have dealt an effective psychological damage on the rabbit as they were frozen still watching me in confusion.

The burning sensation soon became the progenitor seed of carnal bliss, like how humans derive serotonin experience from the capsaicin of pepper that were meant to be their method to deter themselves from being eaten—I too, found the quarry of joy within the maw of impending pain––

In humiliating this sorry-rabbit, that is. Lookie see! It didn't hurt me in a single bit! I'm in, and then I'm out! What are you gonna do, huh??

I definitely didn't awaken something new within me.

I definitely didn't.

Out of nowhere, the wall of fire was extinguished. The flaming sauna seemed to turn me into a hot jello as I could visibly see the hot temperature by how my vision reddened in hue.

I tried to touch the nearby surviving grass. It was immediately lit in a small patch of red before charred into black hue due to how hot my body was.

Heh, new skill acquired. Flaming Touch~!

Or so what I wanted to hear…

On my back-vision, or what I presumed to be my behind as I couldn't really tell which direction my front was—I saw the rabbit centaur angrily swung both of his hands. The golden strings were connected to numerous empty spots in the air.

At first, I thought that they failed their magic casting or whatever they were actually doing, but excitement soon encapsulated my mind as I saw a ball of churning fire deliberately grow on those spots.

Like…

That was—so bloody—awesome!

Knowing that those fires wouldn't be able to hurt me anyway, I nonchalantly approached the confused rabbit centaur while the fireballs were building up.

Without any warning, the fireballs hazardously propelled themselves in my direction.

Burst of explosions were conducted in a murderous symphony, playing a distorted and out of tune version of a bad Rush E composition.

If I were to have a face right now, my expression would be that of sincere happiness. To be exposed by this world's magic firsthand, was an ecstasy that couldn't be explained with any words and dances.

They hurt like hell though, like, the equivalent of being intentionally struck by a hammer on the face—kind of hurting. Regardless, I didn't feel any irregularity within my body except that my imaginary urge to blink from the face-close explosions was killing me spiritually, considering that the whole surface of my body is my eye.

After the tormenting massage suddenly stopped, the rabbit looked at me with a pain in their eyes. The fact that I'm still jiggling left and right from the harmless tremor made them show more emotion than what I initially thought a rabbit could.

Ten seconds of awkward staring contest, the rabbit dramatically threw their body to the side as if I'd hit a decisive final strike at them.

The rabbit then went limp. The mouth was wide open as if consciousness had slipped away from their cranium, and not a single motion was present afterwards…

Did I just witnessed a mental suicide!?

I cautiously approached forward, trying to make sure that I didn't stoop upon the rabbit's limp body. Slowly, I tried to stretch out a bit of my jelly steel mass, which was something that I didn't notice I was capable of.

I gently prodded the possibly unconscious rabbit. That attempt however, ended up with me unintentionally shoving my limb of gelatinous steel harshly onto the poor rabbit face. They jerked back in response as if they couldn't believe that I had just done that, before laying down on the ground once again and doing the same thing all over again.

This little guy was acting dead, but was already emotionally dead inside that they stopped caring about persuading me into thinking they were actually dead.

Hmm, seeing how this rabbit won't be harassing me anymore, there was no reason to keep staying in this place, isn't there?

Just like that, I left the rabbit and went on with my P.W.

I still wondered why that rabbit attacked me though. Did I enter their territory? Or my unnatural existence potentially threatened their wellbeing, so like the inquisitive creature they were, they decided to hunt me before I rose in power, like a smart demon king when a hero had just been born in their era.

Well, a rabbit didn't really have a territory, but they also didn't have four hind legs and claws the size of their skull…

Before I knew it, the rabbit began to wordlessly follow me.

My senses of vision included a permanent back view so I could just react if they began to act suspiciously. So I'm less than worried.

Overtime, the rabbit began to slowly close their gap of distance with me.

To be honest, I didn't really mind this.

If the rabbit showed the same aggression once again, I could just make them feel the same desperation as none of their attacks could pierce through my jiggly metal skin.
