Almost a month passed rather peacefully. Ray and his group occasionally joined Rias and her peerage to train. Although it is mainly due to Rias needing Asia help to heal her members after being injured during training.

Ray is currently duelling with Kiba while being watched by his group and ORC(Rias club) group. They usually will duel at the end of each training session. "No, thank you. I admit defeat again. Hahaha… You are as impressive as usual Ray-san." Ray then dropped his act and smiled before accepting Kiba's hand shake.
"Thank you for the praise but you are also impressive. If you use your knight piece speed boost, you will definitely be able to effortlessly whittle down my defence or maybe use your sacred gear." I praised him back while Kiba shook his head and denied the praise.
"Wouldn't that beat the whole purpose of my swordsmanship training if I use power other than my swordsmanship to fight you?" Kiba stated while sighing softly before everyone came and interrupted us.
"You are very awesome, Uncle Ray! For a human to compete against a devil that has better physical capability than a human even with the armor you wear." Issei declared which almost everyone agreed except Koneko who remained uncaring but annoyed and Cheshire who ignored Ray and kept pestering Koneko to play.
"What Issei said is true, I would definitely offer you a place in my peerage if you would agree. Right, Akeno?" Akeno instantly breaks free from her imagination. "Ah, yes. I would definitely welcome him. I like the wild and untamed one after all." Akeno said with a lewd sigh and blushed.

I passed the confused Cheshire to Asia before equipping Sub-Light COM2 and firing at Freed without hesitation. Thanks to the gun being a railgun, there is little to no sound that can alert anyone. The bullet traveling at 100,000 meter per second traveled instantaneously to the point of impact which surprised the unprepared Freed Sellzen.

Ray then saw the corpse of Freed dissolved into nothingness before hearing a shout from Asia that followed by a surprised mewl of Cheshire. Ray turned back and saw Asia fell on the floor and Cheshire being held at gunpoint by Freed.
I sigh a little that Freed is holding Cheshire hostage instead of Asia which is the most vulnerable among us.
"Cheshire! Rigging!" I shouted to Cheshire and she stopped struggling from Freed's grasp and equipped her rigging.
