Cera was super embarrassed that one of her coworkers had seen her and MinYue in such an awkward situation. She kept fidgeting with her dress the whole time Mary and MinYue were talking. She didn't even hear what was being said, or how loud. She only looked up as MinYue was shutting the door. Her face flushed as her eyes met his. She wanted to run away, but now that he had her in his hands she knew that something was about to happen.
Just as he was preparing himself to pounce on her once more her phone rang, causing both of them to jump. Cera quickly pulled her phone out of habit. It was May Lin. Cera cheered in her head as she swiped the screen to answer the call.
On the other end it was a little loud in the background, it sounded like men yelling at each other, but not aggressively, "Are you off work yet?" May's whiny voice came through.
Cera looked up at MinYue. He had made his way back to his desk, and was now reading a file. She sighed in relief, "Yeah, just now. Why?"
"Come over to Tyler's place and come hang out with us! We are playing video games, and I am sick of being the only girl! Please help me!" Cera could tell that May had something to drink.
"Fine I will be right there. Give me a few minutes." Cera stole a side glance at MinYue. He looked pissed. Cera slipped off her heels, and bolted out of the room before he could say anything or stop her. She ran to the empty office she had changed in earlier, and grabbed her shoes. May was still on the phone rambling off about how she was loosing to the guys, and that every time she died in the game she had to take a drink. Cera slipped on her shoes, and headed out the door, "I am leaving the office now. I will see you in a bit. I need to talk to you about something important about you know who!" Little did she know MinYue had made his way to the hallway in hopes to listen in on her conversation.
When she picked up the phone minutes ago he could hear the yelling in the background. He was worried that something bad was happening. He decided that instead of ripping the phone out of her hand and pushing her down back onto the couch, he better let her help her friend. He was pissed that he missed the opportunity to make her his. He walked back to his desk, and picked up a folder and stared at it without reading it. He noticed her dash out of the room after taking her shoes off. He was worried that something bad really did happen. He made his way to the hallway to see if he could offer her a ride to her friends, but as he was about to step out of the shadow he heard what she said, "Something important." He stopped moving, and let her leave. 'About you know who? Is she going to tell her friend about me?' The frown on his face slowly started to turn the opposite direction. He turned around and headed back to his office with a skip in his step.'She's telling her friends about me!'
