Chapter 32: This Is Just Work
As Kai slept, he felt a hand fiddling with his pajama pants and slipping into his boxers. Quickly opening his eyes, Kai shot up in bed to see a person under his cover. In a panic, he snatched the cover away to see Jinn between his legs.
"Ji…Jinn?", Kai stuttered with wide eyes.
"Why are you so surprised? Who else would it be?", Jinn chuckled before enveloping Kai's entire member with his mouth although he was not hard yet.
"Mmnn.", Kai let out a soft moan as he watched Jinn take him to town and just like that he was completely turned on. Raising his eyes, Jinn eyed Kai, his piercing blue eyes staring intensely as he went down, slowly guiding his lips down Kai's length to the base all while circling his tongue onto the throbbing vein. "Shit.", Kai cursed, and a sharp moan followed as he closed his eyes. Allowing his head to drop backward as he bit his lip, Kai held his breath for a moment, only Jinn knew exactly what he liked.
As Jinn's wet and warm mouth continued to take Kai to the base, the man lightly dragged his fingers up the inner part of Kai's thigh, fondling the rounded flesh underneath Kai's length.
"Mn.", Kai moaned again as he grabbed a handful of sheets, bunching them up between his unsteady fingers.
Letting go of Kai's balls, Jinn gripped Kai's hard, wet length into his hand, and slowly began stroking it the opposite direction so that his hand and mouth met in the middle.
"Oh God...", Kai moaned louder this time as he finally let himself fall backward onto the bed.
Applying a little bit of pressure, Jinn gripped the hard length in his hand a little tighter as he continued. Almost as if the man possessed two tongues, Jinn swirled his tongue in a circle motion, giving his full attention to the head as he hungrily sucked like his life depended on it.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck!", Kai cursed as his body jerked from the overwhelming pleasure, that was happening at his waist. As Kai glanced up for a moment to see Jinn bobbing his head, Jinn increased his speed, keeping that same aggressive stroke as he sucked.
"Mhmm...Jinn…just like that.", Kai panted, his breathes escaping his lips at a higher pitch.
"Kai!", a voice sounded outside his door while Jinn continued. As his eyes snapped open, Kai sat up, his gaze fixed on Jinn. "Kai!", are you awake?", said the voice still outside the door, that was beginning to sound like Saya.
"Kai?", Saya knocked louder this time "I'm coming in.", she warned before walking into the room. "Kai!", Saya raised her voice as she patted Kai on the shoulder.
Opening his eyes, Kai squinted to see Saya standing over him, her large breast was the first thing he saw.
"Wake up sleepy head.", Saya smiled once she saw that he had finally woken up.
"Have I overslept?" Kai asked before letting out an obnoxious yawn and placing an arm on his lap to cover his morning wood while he grabbed his phone.
"No, I just wanted to wake you up before I left. You were knocked out, didn't even hear me calling you.", Saya giggled. "More like I was ignoring you.", Kai thought to himself.
"Alright, have a good day, I'm gonna get out of here soon.", said Kai yawning once more.
"Okay love, I'll see ya later.", Saya exited the room with a smirk and as soon as she closed the door Kai fell backward onto the bed letting out a whine.
"Fuck me.", he said complained, disappointed that Saya had woken him up, but a little offput by the fact that he had dreamed about Jinn. Letting out a heavy sigh, Kai banged his head backward on his pillow a couple times. It had been a while since he had one of those dreams, and it most likely had to do with the fact that he had seen Jinn a couple times since he'd been back, not to mention they had been texting a little, since Jinn made his rehiring process go a lot faster. As Jinn had said, it was a good idea for him to take the job, so Kai decided he might as well have at it. Today would be his first day back at work and he was honestly quite nervous to be around Jinn, especially after that dream Saya had woken him up from, he didn't even know if he was going to be able to look the guy in the eye at this point.
Turning off his alarm clock before it sounded, Kai got up and took a quick shower. After toweling off, Kai put on his usual slimming dark dress clothes, grabbed his messenger bag with work things in it and decided he would just catch the bus this morning.
When Kai got to work, he was happily greeted by several old coworkers before making his way to Jane's office.
"Come in." Jane answered as a knock sounded on her door.
Heya good morning, reporting for duty.", Kai said with a cheesy smile as he entered.
"Hey you, so good to have ya back, sit, sit!", Jane said excited, motioning her hand multiples times for Kai to sit down. Here is your employee ID so you can clock in and out, your desk number, your project and you already know, new employees get a brand-new company charcoal pencil set.", said Jane handing the things to Kai.
"Right, right I remember. God it was so long ago when I first started working here.", Kai smiled as he stood.
"Yes, it was years ago, you've blossomed kid, you're one of my favorites Kai, don't break my heart again!", Jane joked with a giggle, although there was something about her face that seemed as if she meant what she said.
With a smirk, Kai nodded exiting Jane's office and making his way to his desk, clocking in and setting up things to his liking.
The morning had passed by quickly and Kai managed to avoid Jinn the entire time, perhaps this would be easier than he figured.
"Hey Mr. Pak?", a voice said.
Looking up, Kai saw Brandon with two drinks in his hands and a cheesy smile on his face.
"If you call me Mr. Pak again, I will refuse the ice coffee you just spent your hard-earned money on.", Kai smirked, and Brandon let out a nervous chuckle.
"I'm sorry Kai, I keep forgetting, but here, an iced mocha with less ice. I still remember!", Brandon smiled with squinted eyes as he handed the coffee to Kai.
"That is impressively odd, but I thank you.", Kai chuckled as he took the coffee from Brandon's hand.
"Kai.", a familiar voice interrupted and the two looked over to see Jinn standing there.
Nervously, Kai put the coffee down quickly, but as he did, he rolled his eyes at himself, what the hell was he even nervous for? "Yeah?", he finally responded.
"Could you come to my office?", said Jinn, that unreadable expression he always wore.
"Sure.", Kai stood, giving Brandon a smirk before he followed Jinn down the hall.
As the two walked silently, Kai took a glance a Jinn who was few meter's ahead of him, and he still hadn't said what he wanted, man did this feel familiar. As they entered the office, Jinn opened the door for Kai, allowing him to go in first.
"Thanks.", Kai said softly as he went in and sat down with Jinn entering right behind him, sitting down as well.
For a moment Jinn flipped through some paperwork without saying anything and Kai was becoming anxious, just what did he want?
"Uh, was there something you wanted?", Kai asked, not being able to sit quietly anymore.
Letting out a sigh, Jinn finally looked up and the two made eye contact, Jinn's stare was intense like usual when the door suddenly opened.
"Okay guys, sorry to make you wait, but here it is.", said Jane walking around Kai and putting a large thick packet on the table.
"What's this?", Kai asked.
"Oh, you didn't tell him?", Jane asked.
"I was getting to it.", Jinn sort of mumbled as he stared down at the packet on the table. Glancing at Jinn for a moment, Kai redirected his attention to the packet and picked it up.
"Kai we have a dilemma, your coworker Taylor is out on maternity leave. She went into labor early and didn't get the chance to finish what she's been working on the last three months, this is suppose to be done in two weeks.", said Jane.
"I see that, so what exactly do you want me to do?", Kai asked, as he flipped through the pages.
"I need you and Jinn to complete this design, you're my best workers!", said Jane, holding her hands together, practically pleading.
Raising his brows, Kai took a glance at Jinn who was already looking at him, quickly averting his gaze, Kai furrowed his brows. "I don't know if it makes sense for me to work on this project and I've never met Taylor. I've never had the chance to work with her, our ideas may not mesh well."
"That doesn't matter, you're the best free-handed structural designer we have, and it doesn't take you three weeks to sketch out a plan. If there's anything that's complicated, I'm here to help.", said Jinn, his piercing blue eyes fixated on Kai. Glancing at Jinn momentarily before looking back down at the packet, Kai let out a soft sigh, Jinn might as well have been staring through him, he always felt like Jinn gave him more credit then he deserved.
"I know this is a lot to ask on your first day bu..", Jane began to speak.
"Fine, I'll do it.", Kai cut in, realizing that he wasn't going to be able to get out of this easily.
"My God, thank you soooo much! I have to run to a meeting, you two sort out the details!", said Jane as she hurried out of the office, leaving Jinn and Kai alone.
"So..", Jinn and Kai began to speak at the same time, awkwardly stopping to let the other continue.
"Go ahead.", Jinn nodded with a smirk.
Bringing one corner of his mouth tight momentarily, Kai continued, "We can meet after work at the coffee shop near your apartment, they stay open late.", said Kai as he flipped through the pages again.
"That doesn't make sense, you know I have an office, everything we need is there.", said Jinn with a brow raised.
"…", Finally looking up, Kai began to nod his head slowly, not saying anything.
"What?", said Jinn as he noticed Kai was suddenly being even more awkward.
"Are you sure that's gonna be fine?", Kai asked, raising both his brows, saying without saying that Jinn had a relationship he wanted to respect.
Sitting up and leaning forward, Jinn placed both elbows on the table, "This is just work Kai.", he said as a smirk made its way onto his face.
