Chapter 12: Administrator
As I called, it felt like nothing but empty words as no one seemed to be listening.
But I knew someone was and my words definitely had grabbed the attention of this entity.
"Hey, don't pretend like you can't see me. I know you can, let's not play the pretend game now, shall we?"
Still no response.
I was getting restless now, so I decided to pull my cards.
"Damn Administrator, if you don't contact me now, I'll forever remember it. I'll ascend, breakthrough, and complaint to your master and get your butt spank—"
Woooooshhhhh!
I felt myself getting sucked in the void and in the next instant,
BAM!
I was slammed against something.
A petite ash-colored hair girl with red eyes, having a lot of red daisies on her head, was currently choking me to death and had me pinned against a tree probably.
Around me was a field full of vibrant flowers and this place looked very much like a paradise.
I looked at the girl and tapped my hand on hers, indicating that I couldn't speak or breathe.
The girl stared at me and asked, "How do you know of my existence and how do you know my master?"
This entity right here, this very being was the highest authority of the world I was in.
The true ruler of all five continents and the seven seas. With just her thoughts alone, a person could die. It was not a surprise that she could interfere during a mortal's awakening.
Even though I was being suffocated, she had been light on me and didn't end up killing me. I was no less than an ant that she could easily step on any time.
The girl loosened her hold on me and gave me room to breathe and speak.
I didn't even know my projection needed breathing, but oh well, whatever.
I looked at the girl and said, "Can you put me down? This young master will otherwise keep tab of it and complain to your master. I was handled really impolitely."
The girl knitted her sharp brows and stared at me.
I smiled. "Your master, the Heavenly Emperor, I know of him."
The girl's eyes widened in surprise and she immediately let me go. Instead of holding my neck, she now held my collar.
"How do you know of my master?" She asked me again, this time with a threatening gaze.
I kept my smile. "If I say it to you, there will be consequences. You do know that even words could bring a calamity?"
The girl frowned and let me go.
"You sure know quite a lot at this young age. Who are you?"
Since I knew her master now and also told her a few things, I pretty much had an upper hand at this conversation. Thankfully, things were going much smoother than I thought.
I looked at the girl and getting up, answered, "This young master is but a mere mortal of a small family, Administrator. My ancestry had some records, and I found out from there."
The girl knitted her brows. "If that's the case, why has nobody ever contacted me like this?"
"Baah! Do you think everybody has the balls like this young master here?" I said.
"What—"
"Let's cut to the chase, Administrator. This young master's projection can't last long. You can kill me if you want, but remember, there will be heavy consequences as my providence is not something you can take single-handedly." I turned serious and said.
The Administrator frowned.
I walked close to the girl and putting my hand on her shoulders, stared right into her eyes.
"My bloodline, although dormant, is connected to one of the tributaries up there."
The Administrator's eyes widened in shock. This shock was much greater than what she had experienced before.
"H-H-How in the world—"
I flung my arms around the Administrator's shoulders and said while pulling her cheek, "Cute Administrator of my world, you needn't worry and let's not talk about those stuff, shall we? Come, let's take a walk on this beautiful flower field you made."
I had put away all my cards now and what I could do was nothing but coax this person into signing the contract I so ever wanted.
The Administrator was a bit scared after hearing what I said. She had no choice but to go along otherwise things would be dire, as I had mentioned.
The Administrator was surprisingly shorter than me and also really cute. I didn't want to bully her, but I had to, otherwise she'd really end up killing me.
She was like a beautiful flower with lethal poison in it. One wrong touch and I'd die.
While walking with the Administrator, I said, "I am on you and your master's side, Administrator. You need not worry about it. I was born in this world after all. Anyway, let's talk about why I contacted you so suddenly…"
The Administrator was calm and collected. She wasn't a little girl whom I could scam, but the highest authority.
Just trying to touch her would have resulted in my entire being turned to ashes just like her hair, but due to the reasons I stated, she was calm and didn't outright kill me.
Once I finished speaking, the Administrator stopped and swatted my hand away from her shoulders.
"You want a contract? I refuse," she said it right away.
Damn… now this was troublesome.
"Why?" I asked.
The Administrator smiled lightly. "Why would I? What if you end up doing something, say, calling the people of your bloodline to this world and destroying it? It's safe for me or benefits me."
I sighed. "There's no one left of my bloodline, but well, that is manageable. In the contract we'll sign, you can mention that 'I' am not allowed to seek help from the people of my bloodline outside this world. Also, you can also write that I'll work in uplifting this world, breaking it past the lowest realm and having it reach higher peaks."
"This young master can't guarantee much other than breaking past one realm, but isn't that something heaven defying in itself?"
The Administrator was surprised at my words. Of course she would be, I gave her a really good deal.
"I still refuse," she said after a second.
Damn, this girl!
I knitted my brows. "Fine. I'll still make this world break past the realms anyway, but once I ascend, I'll complain to your master and the consequences of that are going to be dire. Be warned, you might end up losing everything."
The girl's eyebrows quivered. She pondered over the things for a few seconds and plucking a daisy out of the tiara she was wearing, crushed it into powder.
An ancient scroll hovered in front of my eyes and on it were clauses written.
This was the highest form of contract available in the mortal realms. Breaking it would not have any tribulations arrive, I'd just have my heart explode and die.
There was an important clause written on the contract that stated if I were to be in this world and continue on with my life, the Administrator can call me anytime to have me sign this very contract once again.
If I were to not sign it, I was supposed to leave this world forever.
A pretty harsh thing, but it didn't matter. I wasn't planning on leaving anyway.
This little world was dear to me because my mother and sisters liked it here. I also had tons of memories so, no thanks, I wasn't going to another paradise and would instead continue on in this little hell.
I had a few things modified and since I had lived through a thousand years, the old fart that was me was a bit wise and got almost all things in my favour.
I intentionally left a few things as is so that the Administrator didn't find anything fishy.
I signed the contract by leaving a soul mark on it. Putting a soul mark was easy, all I had to do was touch a part of the contract with my soul.
The Administrator had pulled one little strand of my soul up here and with my projection, I signed it.
Once the Administrator touched the contract with her soul, I heard:
