Ali nodded with a calm look :"yes, that's a good plan, but there's a huge problem. Tell me, how many counter traps does a normal duelist have?"

That's a total of 6 cards. You could easily add more monsters with high ATK points so you won't need to worry about being on the defensive.
Your lack of offensive strategy was also the reason for why you lost to me. As long as the few monsters of yours with high ATK points are taken out, you're done for.
Scapegoat is a good card, as long as your strategy is right and you have the right cards. But it's useless in your deck.

Alexis thought that with how he had joked before, his closet would be a mess. But not only was it tidy, there was a big ass box in it.
Ali pushed the hanging clothes away before he opened the box and looked through it :"where is it... Where is it... Uh huh! Found it!"
He closed the box and fixed the clothes before closing the closet and walking back to the bed and taking out a card from his coat as well :"here, take these."
Alexis nodded with a confused look before she reached out and grabbed the two cards. However, just as she did so, she felt dizzy for a moment the moment she touched one of the two cards.
She just ignored it before she took a look at the two cards, Valkyrian Knight and Cyber Petit Angel.

But just as he was about to start teaching, there was a knock on the door. "Wait a sec." Ali said before he got up and walked to the door.
After opening it, he saw Zane standing behind the door with a towel, a bottle of water, and a pair of shoes in his hands :"hey, Ali, you ready to go to the gym?"
Ali smiled as he opened the door further so he could see Alexis sitting on his bed :"sorry, Zane, kinda busy.
Because of the upcoming test in a few days, Alexis asked me to check her deck and give her a few advices.
And well, I decided to accept her as my student and teach her since my petty self won't teach my strategies to anyone."
Seeing Alexis, Zane nodded before he raised an interested eyebrow :"oh? So you're Alexis's teacher from now on?"
Ali folded his arms in front of his chest as he looked up smugly in a playful manner :"well, she has the honor of being my first student, so she should be honored."
Both Alexis and Zane chuckled before he shook his head in amusement :"so you're not planning to come to gym today?"
Ali had an apologetic smile as he scratched his cheek :"sorry, bro, but since I'm planning on fixing Alexis's deck, I won't be able to come.
Hmm... How about this? You go to gym today by yourself, but from tomorrow, we will change our schedule so that we can go together later.
