Chapter 2: Angel Of Death
I sit down and pull the buff man into my lap. Hunger overwhelms me aching to my core. I gently sink my vangs into his neck and slowly drink. I feel stronger with every drop of blood. It's exhilarating. I stop after a few more sips and lick at the wound. I watch as it heals in an instant. Hmmm...interesting. I can heal someone by licking them. I wonder what else I can do? Before I know it my mind is racing and memories hit me in a flash. I remember every second of my life in a flash. I gasp.
I shake the man awake. "Hey we need to get out of here." I say as I hear fighting outside of the bathroom. "Who are you beautiful? I would love to get out of here with you." The buff man says as he checks me out. "My name is Marie. What's yours?" "Beautiful. I'm Zander. Why are we in the bathroom?"
Before I get the chance to explain anything the bathroom door slams open and a 5'8" pale blonde girl in her late teens come rushing in covered in blood as her right arm gushes blood out. The smell of her blood fills my nostrils causing me to get lightheaded and the urge to drink her dry hits me hard. She falls on her face in front of us then passes out. We jump up and get to her side. I hear her heart stop as I'm about to ask if she's okay.
"She's dead." I say as he flips her over then checks for a pulse. He immediately puts his hands on her chest and starts compressions. "Stay with me." He says frantically pushing harder on her chest.
He pushes and pushes, but it doesn't help. The woman is dead. No pulse. Smells of death like what I smell all around us. I notice her hand twitch and yank him back. "Hey!" He yells startled. "Ahhhh!" The woman yells animalistically then sits up as black blood drips from her mouth. Her blue eyes look at us with no life in them.
"What the?!" He yells as she grabs for him. Before he can blink I'm infront of him slamming my fist through the girl's head. She falls to the floor dead and I can't help but smile. It feels good to kill. Even more when I know I just saved someone's life.
"If you want to live follow me." I state then walk over the corpse. If I was human I probably would have died from that creature. Actually I don't know. I would have put up a good fight now that I think about it, but wow. Yeah I wouldn't have made it out of here alive. I think as I look around the restaurant at 30 zombies walking straight to me with their mouths twitching and covered in blood.
I feel no fear at all strangely just actually excitement. "Time to die for real." I say then let my vampire come out. I run towards the closest one to me and punch straight through it's head then kick another one's head off. I know I'm like a blur. I kill the zombies one after the other with ease in a killing frenzy. Ripping brains out, nails slicing straight through heads like a knife to butter. It was too easy. It almost felt like a game. I never waivered. I feel unstoppable and new.
"If you haven't figured out what I am then maybe I shouldn't let you live." I say to the man by the bathroom watching me. Zander.
I rip the last zombie's brains out and drop it on the floor turning to Zander. He's some good eye candy for sure. I haven't actually met someone as attractive as him before. Before this I would have been to shy to say a word but now I feel brave enough to do anything, say anything. I will keep him around and protect him. Maybe do more. "Your a vampire, Angel of Death, maybe you can save human kind."
