Chapter 19: The Casts are complete
Zack continued walking and chatting with Glynda on the way to Ozpin. Occasionally when Zack smiled at her, she would immediately turn her head away but if one looked closely at her ears, they were red.
They had this romantic atmosphere like they were both in a little world of their own, if they didn't they would have noticed that everyone, be its the faculty or students, was staring at them in shock as would have never seen that the great Glynda Goodwitch would be happily chatting with a young man right now and it looked as though they were even flirting.
This brought on those who had an undying crush on that professor and those that are single to feel like that they just ate something foul.
But to those three girls that are following them right now, they feel murderous, vexation, and unwavering resolve. They were Yang, Blake, and Pyrrha respectively in that order.
On Blake, she felt frustrated as earlier as she felt Yang looked down on her as a woman and by her own mother, as she just realized that Kali never mentioned to make a move on Zack and just bring him back with her, like her mother didn't believe her she can do it. 'Well, I'll just show them all'
Blake didn't realize then that was Kali's initial plan all along, as she read somewhere that reverse psychology works best at rebellious teens.
On Pyrrha, she felt her will strengthen as she just took this scene like it was a trial that she must overcome, she might've accidentally rejected him once on live television in the spur of the moment but after a few more years of being in the spotlight, she realized the look he gave her back then was sincere as most of her 'friends' back then just liked her for the attention. 'This time, I won't make the same mistake again, as I'm sure he will feel the same… rIgHt…'
On Yang though, she was thinking about where to bury a body or three as she felt these two b*tches beside her will also interfere with her plans somehow.
The following ladies completely ignored Ruby and Weiss as they didn't even respond to them and just kept following Zack.
Ruby and Weiss looked at each other for a while.
"Um, I'm really sorry about that earlier, I'm Ruby Rose by the way and would you like to tour around with me? just for killing time" Ruby shyly apologized first but asked hesitantly.
"Hmph, just watch where you're going next time," Weiss said as she turned around and walked away.
"Ohh, y-yeah I will, thanks," Ruby responded weakly as she realized she didn't have someone to tour with.
"What are doing just standing there, I thought you would accompany me to kill some time" Weiss voice suddenly came.
"U-uh! Right! Let's go!" Ruby, like a switch, became happy and excited as just made her first friend in Beacon.

As Zack and Glynda entered Ozpin's office, Ozpin was still sipping his coffee but he placed it down as it seems like whatever he was going to say to was serious.
Zack and Glynda noticed this as they stood in front of the headmaster's desk.
"I have called you in here Zack for I just remembered that Qrow once said that you were able to defeat Qrow and Tai at the same time and you just survived the land of Darkness like it was a vacation," Ozpin said as spoke casually but to Glynda, it was shocking as she never thought the Zack in front did all that.
"I know there is little to none we can teach you and I know for a fact that you just went here because of a deal with Qrow,"
"I know, what am I about to suggest is unorthodox and maybe even morally wrong but I want you, Zack Fair, to take on missions that may need of your help, these missions are mostly emergency mission as you will be still enrolled here, but I can give a few perks here and there. I know this is a lot to take in, but I urge yo-"
"Alright, sure" Zack answered without a second thought.
"..."
"You know, I made this 10-page speech just for you, all yesterday," Ozpin suddenly said while looking at Zack has just wasted his efforts.
"Uh, thanks gramps, but you don't need the speech for me, as I already thought this would happen after I defeated Qrow and Tai, so no worries but I have one request," Zack said lightheartedly but then looked at Ozpin at a serious tone.
"..."
"If it's in my power, what do you need?" Ozpin asked.
"But first, what will happen to my soon-to-be team?" Zack asked first.
"Ahh that, I was thinking of making you go solo as it would be dangerous for your teammates if they go with you," Ozpin answered.
"Hmm, I was actually thinking of training my own team, I know I have my minions but only the Grand Alpha can talk and between you and me, I'm starting to lose my sanity if I don't have normal teammates to talk to," Zack said seriously.
"Hmm, now that you said it, you may be right but what about their safety?" Ozpin asked again.
"Oh, I'll just to instruct my minions to stay close to them at all times, Of course, I'm going to ask them first but will you agree with this?" Zack said with a serious tone.
"Alright, let's just hope whoever your teammates can take this," Ozpin nodded as they reached an accord.
While both of them talked, they forgot that there is someone with them with a strict personality listening to them.
"SIR! What are you doing!? Mr. Fair is just a new student! Even if he did beat Qrow and Tai and survived in the Land of Darkness, you're sending a first-year student on missions that can endanger his life! And now you're going to add his teammates too in the mix!" Glynda finally couldn't take it and shouted at her boss.
"Yes, I know fair well what I'm subjecting Zack and his teammates go through but the fact in the matter is, we huntsmen today are seriously understaffed," Ozpin stated as he stood up, and approached the glass window.
At that remark, it took both Zack and Glynda's attention.
"W-what do you mean by that, sir?" Glynda hesitantly asked.
"It is exactly what I said, over the past few weeks, the Grimms are moving more aggressively than usual and not just that, this time the Grand alpha's all around Remnant have begun to awaken and you know as well I do, when a Grand Alpha moves, a horde would be following behind it," Ozpin said.
"You don't mean that?" Glynda realized something.
"Yes, the Queen has begun to move seriously, and huntsman all over is reporting casualties as they went for their missions, this is the reason I've resorted to using Zack's help as it was stated that he can take on a Grand alpha all by himself," Ozpin answered with a grim face.
"Fine, but I still don't like it," Glynda finally relented.
"Neither do I, but it has to be done," Ozpin agreed with her.
"Don't worry, I will be fine and so will be my teammates, I'll protect them" Zack said positively.
Glynda and Ozpin smiled a little at that remark.
"Well, if that's all, see you, tomorrow gramps! Glynda!" Zack said with a smile while waving his right arm at them as he made way to the door.
*sigh* "Again with the gramps but I did notice something, why did he call you Glynda instead of professor?" Ozpin thought out loud while looking at Glynda who has decided to look anywhere but her boss.
"..."
'Looks like I was right, this will be an interesting year,' Ozpin thought of as he took his seat while sipping his amazing heaven on a mug.

At night.
Almost all the new students are in the Ballroom but none of them are asleep as all have formed their little own group. The boys were all posing different stances as to attract the girl's attention but all they got were just fleeting glances but they didn't give up as some tried wrestling with each other. The girls were all in their groups, some of them looking at the boys, some just chatting away from each other.
On Ruby's side, there are two girls she was with, one her new white-haired friend, Weiss, and her other new friend the highly cheerful orange-haired girl, Nora Valkyrie.
"I told you guys, I beat this bowler-hat guy then next thing I know, the headmaster brought me in!" Ruby said excitedly.
"Hmm amazing but I think you're talking about that Roman Torchwick guy, I heard he was really elusive but good job beating him" Weiss commented.
"I like it, the danger! The excitement! The reward! And then the friendship!" Nora animately expresses every line with passion.
"I know right, good thing I met you guys, or this trip here would've really been awkward! You know being younger and all..." Ruby said thankfully for her new friends.
"Awwww! Don't worry Ruby, if you ever run into trouble, call me! And I'll just break their legs!" Nora went forward to her and hugged her like a stuffed toy.
*Ahem* "I might've been a little bit too emotional earlier today with you, but you got us right here" Weiss managed to say while looking away from them.
"Awwww! Come here, Weiss!!" Nora exclaimed as she dragged Weiss as well into the hug.
"Hehehehe" Ruby, Weiss, and Nora laughed for a while.
"I sure wish I could say that to them as well but I get scared when Yang becomes like that" Ruby said while looking at the three girls staring at each other and not saying anything.
"Uh-huh," Nora agreed with her.
"Yeah… I wonder why though, they should've just met only today" Weiss said as she agreed as well.
In one of the corners, there three beautiful girls seated not far from each other but they were not saying anything like they were waiting for something more like for someone.
"Let me introduce myself properly to you girls(b*cthes), my name is Yang Xialong or better known as Yang Fair," Yang said sweetly at them.
"!!!" That intro just got a response on the other two.
"Well, I might as well, my name is Blake Belladonna, I'm a faunus and I don't have any feelings for that moron whatsoever but my pride as a woman has been trampled by Yang and my mother and for that, I will show you all by making Zack fall in love with me," Blake spoke next and ended it with a smirk.
"..." Yang and Pyrrha's eye just twitched especially Yang as she somehow indirectly made Blake go for Zack.
"You two might've been with him longer than I was, but I, Pyrrha Nikos, have something you both lack," Pyrrha said with a smile.
"!!" This got their attention, in their heads Pyrrha was just a weak contender as they know she hasn't been in contact with him for very long.
"W-what?" Yang hesitantly asked.
Pyrrha smirked at them and said "You two have never been asked out by Zack, and I'm pretty sure I can rekindle what was once there if I just spent more time with him unlike you two,"
At that, Yang and Blake realized she was right, Zack never made a move on them.
"..."
A tense atmosphere clouded their area as Blake and Pyrrha think about how to capture Zack while being discrete. While Yang was thinking on the line of where to bury bodies.
The air was suddenly broken when they heard a familiar voice walking in the ballroom.
"I told you, man, you should add this to your pancake recipe, seriously chocolate is the advent of the culinary industries," Zack said as he tried to convince his new friend, Lie Ren, a young man with long black hair that ends midway down his back while there is a magenta streak on the left side of his hair.
*Sigh* "I told you already, chocolate isn't all that hype," Ren said trying to dissuade Zack from his chocolates.
*Gasp* "Blasphemy! You take that back!" Zack argued back.
As the two walked in, they didn't notice that almost all the girls were looking at them as a piece of meat right now but it seems like both of them are oblivious as they talked about chocolates.
Zack was wearing a tight black sleeveless t-shirt showing his muscles while Ren was wearing a loose white long-sleeve t-shirt.
*jiiiii* *jiiiii* *jiiiii*
The three girl's stare was the most intense out of all of them there.
