Chapter 4: Arrival
"If it isn't Sir Jiko." a voice suddenly echoed. Jiro and Jino stopped as if they are mannequins and Jiko was surprised because the arrow was released yet it isn't moving. He turned around and saw a guy standing 3 paces behind him. He gulped a mouthful of saliva when he realized hiw big the threat he is going to face. "What the hell are you doing here, Hugo?" he asked. Hugo didn't answered. He also stood frozen behind him. So if it wasn't Hugo, then who was it?
He closed his eyes and after he opened it, Jiro, Jino and Hugo are all lying down on the ground. "Poor Hugo, didn't even had his own battle, had only arrived and yet now lying on the ground." Jiko was shocked when he saw what happened. The smoke was thick enough to cover the mysterious silhouette. "Reveal yourself and you will be forgiven, otherwise you will be reprimanded fir your manners." Jiko shouted. A figure appeared behind him, closing his neck with its string arms and no matter how hard he tried, he can't escape from it.
"Satisfied now?" the voice said
"Who are you?" Jiko replied.
"Well, I am an ordinary student, while the one strangling you is a King-Rank expert whom you despise the most."
"Reveal your true colors." Jiko shouted with anguish.
"I'm not a snake Sir Jiko. Not like you."
"Impudent little devil, release me and I will make sure that your head will roll into this barren land."
"You sure know how to speak to those who are far stronger than you' huh?"
"You insolent. Get this man away from me or I will kill you both."
"I'm afraid that you can't do so." the man strangling Jiko spoke.
"What do you mean?" Jiko replied.
A man walked towards Jiko and took his sword from him. He then walked towards where the voice was coming. He tried to break free but he can't because of the heavy armor that bounds tha man behind him. A moment later, a streak of light pierced through the smoke and a silhouette was seen.
"Sir Vieran, that sword has already acknowledged you as its master. That's the Grand-Rank Excalibur de Magnus."
"Speak no more, Arthur, I know this sword. The question is, how did a man just like Sir Jiko possess a weapon like this?"
"Arthur? Vieran? That means you.."
"Yup. I am The One you are looking for." Vieran proudfully replied.
Jiko can't contain his anger. He flipped Arthur and ran towards Vieran. He summoned two daggers, Ebony and Ivory. The God-Rank weapon used by the Assassin Class. Vieran didn't even twitched when he saw what happened, after all, Arthur is just a hologram and the true one is helping Dorothy. It means that the power straining Jiko wasn't Arthur, it is Vieran's. Dorothy stood up and saw the scenario. He immediately warned Vieran because Jiko can deceive anyone, for it is his Skill, making him a fine Assassin. The other three also stood up, but now, they will not face Dorothy anymore, it will be the Knight-Rank Saber Class prodigies. Lancelot, a not so tall guy with a messy but good looking hair that suits best his mood; Tristan, a short, dark guy with a Knight-Rank Knight Spear in his hands; and last but not the least, Percival, A not so tall man with keen eyes and his hair is bonded at his nape. These three are ones in the 14 Knight-Rank geniuses. They successfully defended the Dragon Breath Realm against the Dark King even if Remnant was only watching them and decided not to lift a single finger. Jiro took Tristan, Jino took Percival while Lancelot picked Hugo as his opponent. Arthur carried Dorothy away from the battlefield to ensure his safety. He then casted an Aberrant Magic to seal a room for them and another Aberrant Magic for Regeneration. He casted it to Dorothy and waited for him to heal. Now its time for an ultimate showdown and a clash of unknown powers.
