Chapter 1: Z
Zombies roamed the area I was currently in. They were just walking aimlessly and sometimes stumbled over rocks or rammed their heads on the walls of a house. Humans rarely pass in this area because of the zombies lurking here.
But there are also stupid humans that passed by here. I turned my head towards the road when I heard the sound of a car engine. It immediately caught the attention of the zombies and started chasing after it. And considering how lucky those bunch of humans are, their car suddenly broke down and slowly stopped in the middle of the road full of zombies. The zombies didn't waste anytime and quickly swarmed around the humans and devoured them. Welp. I'm going out now then.
I opened the door and went out. I stretched for a bit and started walking towards the swarm of zombies. I'm not stupid okay? I just really need that backpack full of supplies. Especially food. One zombie snarled at me when it noticed me. Dude, chill. I'm not trying to steal your kill, okay? I am not a cannibal. I bared my teeth at it and snarled back. I smirked when it backed down and turned towards its kill again. I just continued walking until I reached the truck and grabbed the bag. I felt disgusted when the scent of human blood reached my nose as I passed the splattered mess of human entrails on the road. I know this is probably ironic since I am a zombie too but whatever. And I am not that messy when I drink the blood of animals.
It didn't take long to arrive at this house that I call home and share with six other zombies. I dropped the bag on the living room floor and headed straight to my bedroom for a nap.
