Chapter 27: Chapter 22~What's Wrong With Karmaria?~
Phoenix woke up and tried to sit up but then realized she had two pairs of wings around her, she then sighed and tried to heat up her body so she could wake up whoever was cuddling her but she couldn't. She looked around and saw that it was hawks and- DABI?! she started to freak out and thoughts rushed into her head "How is Dabi here!? didn't I get saved!? How does he even have wings?!"
She then heard voices calling out to her "Phoenix wake up, wake up lady!" Phoenix flung her eyes open and grabbed the first neck she could find. "Woah, Woah birdie calms down, it's only me" Karmaria slowly grabbed Phoneix's hand and Phoenix realized that it was only hawks and Karmaria, she sighed and calmed down. "Sorry red chicken"
He glared and Phoenix knew he would get revenge later. Phoenix stood up and wobbled but Karmaria caught her "Man they did a number on you" Karmaria then looked a little sad and phoenix hugged her, "it wasn't your fault I was captured ya know".
"I-if only I was fast enough...I-I"
Phoenix shushed her and kissed her head "I'm alive right?"
Karmaria nodded, "I'm here right?"
She nodded again, "Then don't blame yourself ok? try not to" Karmaria inhaled and blurted "I'm your half-blood sister!!"
Phoenix stopped breathing, "...W-what"
