/ Eastern / Turns Out, I’m In A Villain Clan!

"F**K! I'm dead!"
That was the first word I muttered after regaining my memories from Earth.
Reincarnating into a world of cultivation should’ve been a blessing. Adventure, immortality, power—what’s not to love?
But then I remembered what my family did.
My sister just broke off an engagement with a crippled young master—definitely a future protagonist.
My mother ripped a Dao Bone from my cousin and gave it to me—guaranteed future revenge arc.
And me? I’m already a third-rate villain: bullying weaklings and flaunting my Bai Clan name.
Worst part? Despite the Dao Bone, I’m still trash at cultivation.
My only hope?
The System... which I’ve had for years.
“I just never realized... It was in English!”

Sumulat ng pagtatasaLike 30 chapters in. I don't like the MC, emotional and stupid. Lots of classic Manhua clichés like enemies with anger issues. The interactions and progression feel boring and linear. Although the concept isn't the most original, I like it anyway, but now I just feel let down
Shitty and weasel novel and the MC is not a villain and is weak minded , the title is deceiving. 1.Mc character is worst 2. Not interesting 3. Weak and brain dead
giving a review because I didn't realize this had such a low rating since I've been caught up for a while. It's honestly not as bad as people are saying it is, some stuff is definitely a bit typical for these types of novels but its not nearly as cliche as people say and the mc is not as hypocritical as people say, at least not enough to make me drop it, and I'm the type to drop things easily. Regardless, I think this gets better as it goes along so that's probably why people drop it early, I'm on ch88 and I'm ok with the story so far. Up to you but I had to give it a rating to offset how low ppl are rating it.
This novel was good only first 10 chapter. I don't know if this is translation or what. But atleast what I understand it's original. MC character in beginning was show dominant type but later he became whimp if this was to add comedy than it's very bad the marriage was forced but he doesn't stand for himself quickly given even if he is not strong to give in his attitude is very weak which is weird. The novel was suppose to be about villain but the MC acts like Chinese manga protagonist which are simp or with very low self esteem. He is a bully but the author because to add drama abandoned the MC character and started to add anything with no reason. This novel is ranked so high that I feel very disappointed. There is no author sincerity he doesn't even comment or explain why he did this.
an interesting and unconventional protagonist egged on by the system to break down cliché main character shenanigans. The cons are of course like every other story in the current era AI is extensively used, sometimes more than simple grammar edits where it feels like AI generation is used on the whole scene but hopefully author edits or phases this out with more experience...
Ignore all the troll reviews, this one here is a true hidden gem. One thing is that, he might act subservient to his fiancée for a few chapters but that changes very fast after his power levelling
More like a 4.5 out of 5 but I put it at five to help counteract all these... "people" whom I guess aren't even reading the same story, talking about the MC being an emotional wimp "beta male"... Self reporting incel's aside, I'm really enjoying this, there are cliches, it wouldn't be xianxia without them but I really enjoy the MC's in this one. I think one thing I would like to see though is more development of the cultivation system, as it is now it's so bare bones and generic it's a travesy.
The MC is not a great character but nothing like what the other comments make him be. I understand he can't show weakness in such a world but the author should reduce scenes where he's being too arrogant. Its pure power fantasy + parody of the usual eastern novels and a great mood booster when you need a break from stressful stories. No complex plots or too much drama but at the same time there are many hints which keeps you excited about the future plot. There are many unique elements in the story which makes it memorable. I hope there will be many interesting arcs & a little adventure + more world building in the future too and not just breakthroughs or fighting + aura farming. Improve your writing skills gradually too coz its just average right now. Conversations between characters can be more entertaining.
The story was never meant for success, from the moment the author decided to make the protagonist a submissive beta it was destined for failure.
The MC has a brain, or some of it. The story starts out good, and stays that way for a good 100 chapters. But by all the means, the MC is a pushover. The girl that he is force engaged to drags him around like a dog. And, he is too servile to other potential protagonists. He even offered some girls of his clan to a protagonist to marry. The MC tries to play smart and safe, yet comes out lacking each time. All in all, this is a watered-down rip-off of the novel of which MC is Gu Changge.
I've read over 200 chapters so far. This is a pretty good story. it doesn't seem rushed, and the main character is not too smart or dumb. Even with a system, the story doesn't revolve around him being OP. I hope the author keeps the story development in the same phase as it started. The world building is slow, but I think it's going in a good direction.
Ipakita ang SpoilerReview of Chapter 175/208 It may not be anything amazing, it may be generic and not offer much in writing quality... but it is definitely an entertaining read. The strongest strength of this novel is being entertaining in its faceslapping. There are a lot of moments where you will get to experience the thrill of watching the MC make his enemies completely played like a fiddle. It is repetitive, yet oddly it feels very satisfying. This is because of the craziness and dao of simplying giving 0 ****s no matter who it is if they offended him. He is quite likable as a main character and definitely not dull. There is no worry for waiting for a long time for villains in the novel to get the endings they deserve. While some basically are flies that the MC can't even be bothered to deal with which I like. The novel does seem to somewhat stray from its expected premise. There wasn't much interaction with "Heaven's Chosen" and the Mc's villain's clan as expected. It flows more like a typical traditional cultivation novel, but minus lots of the struggling underdog. Instead, having an arrogant young master as a protagonist with an OP System. ----------------------- Spoilers Ahead which I hope the Author would address. I do have some issues and concerns with the novel. The novel does seem to suffer from power creep. With how OP his System is, it does worry me if the power scales goes too fast. I actually like the characters around him, so I find it hard to see them keeping up. Of course except for those Heaven Chosen. I understand that the MC can just give stuff which he does. Honestly it doesn't seem fixable, but I think that's fine since the story is basically about the MC being overpowered and dominant against whoever he faces and faceslapping them all. Heaven's Chosen. I think this is too underused despite being one of the most important cores for this novel, which goes back to how it seems to stray from the expected premise of the novel. I think there needs to be a bit more to cause more chaos and show expected storylines and intertwining. Some allies to the MC some enemies to the MC. Main/ Supporting Characters. Although present, they honestly don't feel important at all. The ones I'm talking about are actually the main cast around the MC. I actually think the enemies themselves have more depth than the cast despite limited screen time. The elders are fine actually. For example, the Grand Elder, his Father and Sect Leader of the Heaven sect to a minor extent. The issue are the girls. I will hold my comment for Bai Xinyue since the current arc has her being part of the center. So i will talk about the other two though I don't have much to say. Bai Xueqing- Honestly dull. Besides the beginning, she doesn't have much to offer is honestly just their for reactions to the MC like a nameless spectator. The solution for her is simple. Have a complex long arc with her the Heaven's Chosen to keep her relevant and interesting. The same goes for the other girl Chu Ziyan. At least her personality can make things interesting, but her role was no different to a nameless spectator as well. I think this is a shame since she is MC's engaged partner, and someone who the MC was wary of at least in the beginning of the novel. I wished she had more of a role and perhaps making her a little more insane would be the go to for her. Obsessive? possessive? The author's choice for her direction. Make her an actual heroine, so a potential love interest. Lin Xuan- I like him, but give him more of a destiny role like a true Heaven's Chosen and make him relevant. Remnant Spirit- Having her makes the MC even more OP. It's funny since the MC himself now basically has a cheat grandpa/jade beauty in the ring. I enjoyed her interactions with the MC. You have a mature immortal who is pretty reasonable and chill, yet tries not to lose her mind from the MC's antics. She has infinite potential for the Author to craft a story out of her. In fact, I would love her to be the winning romantic interest. I think the love story would be interesting and the fact that even after they do get together, I can still imagine her lamenting at how she fell for such a man. Yes that is my shipping. Remnant Spirit with the MC. Also... we need more illustrations! Remnant Spirit. Father Grand Elder Lin Xuan ----------------------- Overall the story might not be anything special, but it does fulfill its purpose of being entertaining and that is enough. Keep up the good work author.
the development is too slow and too much unnecessary back stories and why would we want to know how he prepared the food ,like the explanations are too much.
Gonna be honest about it, i was really liking the novel but about the chapter 280 the mcs interactions change completely; he starts letting his sister influence him much more, too much pushover, and begins acting like a simp for no reason. It even felt completely anticlimactic to me; it totally pulled me out of the story, and I even had to put it down out of frustration. But hey, everyone can draw their own conclusions. For my part, that's all. Cheers.
So bad I made an account just to review. The chapters are so short and even worse the updating is slow asf. Save yourself some time and move on.
I made a account just to review this. The story is of a simp, idiot, dumb character MC . He is led around by the female characters, he talks to the heroes and makes it up to them and says to leave the past in the past thing he is powerles, stupid and led around by females. DO NOT GET BAITED BY THE TITLE

In testing I love the idea, as long as the mc stays a villain and the author doesn’t make him a anti hero or something it will stay a 10/10 recommendation from me
