Humanity set out to achieve Godhood and failed.
Their attempt left the gates to Heaven and Hell open, allowing magic into the world for the first time. But it also releasedNow, the world is on its last legs, mankind almost completely decimated by the monsters that were set loose from the deepest abyss of their collective unconscious.
The Scions -- warrior-mages who ate the fruit of hell and became possessed by mysterious creatures known only as โArchonsโ -- are the only ones who can fight them and cross the barriers between the worlds. Theyโre kept locked and isolated in abbeys, reared to protect the few cities that are left. And, one day, to undertake the Pilgrimage, the mythical heroic journey through Heaven and Hell that will finally open the doors to Eden and grant humanity what it once sought and couldnโt grasp.
But, inside the walls of one of the abbeys, rebellion is brewing. Kayla, Joshua, Sarah, Matthew, Vivien and Darren tire of their captivity and plot to gain back their freedom and find answers to the mysteries of their dying world.
Yet itโs not only monsters that stand in their way. Some humans will fight for secrets to remain hidden, while others donโt wish to see the scales of power theyโve so carefully balanced tip. The Scions will have to follow in their ancestorsโ footsteps and attain what their predecessors couldnโt to succeed: become gods themselves.

"At the end of the world" is a really well thought out novel. You can tell how much the author loves their character with how much personality each of them has (I really like Kayla and Joshua โค๏ธ). The world the author came up with is interesting with jrpg elements, fantasy and suspense. So much thought went into world building such as the rules the scions has in order to use their power, I would have never thought of something like that! Also just look at the beautiful cover and how breath taking all the leads look!! I can't wait for more chapters to release and root for Kayla on her adventure ~

โAt the end of the worldโ is a ride full of emotion and suspenseโ a ride that you wonโt be able to predict! The plot line is intriguing and keeps you on the edge, the characters are certainly unique and thoroughly enjoyable (with great dynamics and A+++ fashion). The chapters released so far are setting the scene for some intense twists, I genuinely cannot wait till future chapters are released!!!!
This fantasy web novel, it is a great concept. I had one like this in the first days of writing, but I have decided to scrap that up, and create another novel based on fantasy. Anyway, this novel has some loveable and hated characters. The chapter's content seems established, and the description and monologue it is acceptable. Good read while you are boring, or you listen to a mix of fantasy music in your room to relax.
Love this! The imagery, the way your heart is racing along with her. There is depth to the characters, a life to them that the author has managed to capture. The world-building is on great and easy to follow. Writing is good and easily draws in the reader. Iโve had this one sitting in my library for a while and Iโm glad I started reading it.
It was a really good read! The book cover also adds more feeling for the book! And the author has a knack for words beyond us reader's imaginations! The only thing that I'd like to point out are the sentences in the paragraphs that needs trimming and combining. There are a lot of commas (which are linked to the combining and trimming part) that shoould be periods, This is evident in chapter 1 at the first few parts. I've also noticed tiniest details of adverbs used. Adverbs are nice to add, but you could a metaphor and an active verb for it. "Her heart beat madly" you could use "Her heart beat a thousand times" to add more emphasise innit. Feel free to disagree, and kudos for the author!

Very very well written. The vocabulary and grammar are spot on. The plot is epic but most of all, the character growth is really well done! Excellent novel!

This story is very intriguing! I love how mysterious and tense it is and the fighting scene was also very well done. I can't wait to see where the author takes all this set up, keep going!
