Tulis ulasanHonestly at this point I’m woundering if it’s me that dosent understand what a wizard is every time I try out a wizard novel they practice knight techniques and fight with a sword….:.:: Every beast tamer and necromancer novel i try does this aswell at this point mabye it’s me lol
Quite literally what i was hoping for a "Gem" in the hiding. what can you expect- 1:Slow but, step by step progression. 2:Mature but not flashy mc. 3:is cautious but doesn't hide his strength too much, as well as is not adverse to 'fame' 4:Good magic system so far, almost like lotm. 5:No love interest so far(which I like in gray to dark novel). 6:Side characters are fleshed out.
Thanks for the Book!!!!! 🥂 📖🍾 Let me be give you all five stars for all five categories for your new book, Author-san 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We are all looking forward for the next chapters 🥰📖📚
Generally speaking I like it but the number of coincidences is eye roll worthy. With him having the ability to grow by taking multiple jobs I expect him to be a slow build over time kind of guy, and he is for the most part, but he keeps getting advantages just piled on top for no real reason. He keeps getting these super rare, super powerful relics from out of nowhere and it just comes off, at least to me, as lazy writing. He already has great skills and if he got these powers from working on them I could buy that but coming from relics he just happened to find is disappointing. Full breakdown: Translation: Generally speaking it’s good but some similar yet distinct items, e.g. job names like “potion master” and “alchemist”, are inconsistently translated to the same thing. Also, some concepts are inconsistent in their names, e.g. the “grace”system. Finally, there seems to be some paragraphs repeating with slightly different words. I’m not sure if that is the author or the translation. Stability: I haven’t been reading too long but what I’ve seen has been consistent. Story development: This is where I have mixed feelings. The characters are reacting to the story in realistic and meaningful ways but the situations are always leaning towards the protagonist. It’s the old cliche that everything revolves around the protagonist causing excessive coincidences. Characters: This is one of the strong points of this story. The characters are complex. They are not saints nor are they monsters. They see that things aren’t good for everyone but they know that they can’t fix everything nor are they numb and uncaring. By focusing on some of their thoughts and feelings their actions make sense and they feel real. World background: Another strong point for the story. The power system, outside the protagonist’s golden finger, is expansive yet balanced, so far. The weakness of a lot of dark wizard novels is the lack of explanation for why schools exist and the talented don’t get exploited. The “grace” system where teachers are granted boons for helping students to learn and advance to fight off the taint of other worldly knowledge is an interesting and reasonable explanation.
A pretty good wizard novel with it building up step by step and releasing knowledge of the world slowly. Worth the read.
The concept is interesting and it’s a decent read but not worth reading here unless using fast passes or a free trial. The world setting is the same as the other wizard novels where the wizard school or tower is ruthless to promote growth but this is just a watered down version of it all. It feels like a rough draft or sloppily put together with my reasons below. First the author has no creativity on creating situations or showing if a character is smart like the school controls the black market yet act in a meeting that the students would be surprised to know they do when it is blatantly obvious(mc is smart cause he realizes this like three times). All the schemes(not a lot so far) so far are toddler level. Second the time of day or how much time has passed is inconsistent like he needs to work where it shows the light is just coming out yet he spends time doing something else where it is bright out then goes to work earlier than usual does the sun randomly reverse itself. Last the repetition of things that are discovered is ridiculous. The mc will learn something three times for the first time or discuss something new for the second time ect It makes you feel like we are going backwards and wasting time. The story is decent it’s just feels like a watered down version or a lazy attempt of better novels of this wizard genre. Fine for a free read to waste time but I am not expecting anything groundbreaking from it.
A couple of months ago i read a similar novel with a proficiency panel and professions to be unlocked by achieving certain conditions, but the professions were limited to 3. Now I come across this novel, which not only has a nice way to tell a story, but also removed all the stress of having to read about choosing between professions by making the slots unlimited. Extremely happy with the writing style, world setting and characters. I enjoyed reading and can't wait for more chapters to be released.
Another transmigration novel, this time I to a novel, each lord had to provide those with magical talent to the ruling magic schools, unfortunately unable to meet the quota they began testing the rich and nobility and the counts son was forced to make the quota. Mc has to struggle to survive in this dark world we’re living beings are just another research material.
Honestly, this idea is taken from a Chinese novel. I'm glad the author only took the idea, as the novels are generally different. I have questions: why doesn't the main character use knowledge from his past life? He actually lived on modern Earth, and he's an alchemist! Why doesn't he create modern alloys from ordinary, non-magical metals, but with excellent properties? Why doesn't he use the Damascus steel forging technique? Why doesn't he build modern devices, like a lathe? Why doesn't he make magical golems, which are most similar to modern technology? The author probably knows how electric motors, bearings, and so on work. In that world, only the magical version can be created, and the regular version. Hybrid technology, let him finally make a bicycle or an electric bike. Like any rebirth, he should bring some technology to a backward world and make it clear to all mages that everyone is equal when faced with a line of AK-47s. :) I also wonder why he doesn't use his skills to hybridize plants; they're simpler than animals, and you can farm experience faster. I also look forward to when he finds more people with different talents and takes them under his command, and builds at least one golem out of stainless steel armor with a Gauss weapon. :)
incredible story. more than worth the money to unlock more chapters. been binge reading it for a few days now and it incredible
This story is very similar to another named "The Witcher: Start gaining experience from unlimited employment"
Ch:343 its quite a long-winded book. slow paced but worth it. there's just too many description fillers however they help you get lost in the stoy
The story in general is good, but there are too many repetitions of what he has discovered already. Theories are good, but if it is not well balanced with good fight scene, it makes it dull and tiring to read. No exaggerations on female characters, nor is there unreasonable antagonistic scenes. Although, his systems makes him an almighty in the making, allowing him to learn everything if given sufficient time and resources. Yet, I expected to see some nice spell battle scenes. But as of yet, it's still not at sufficient level of what a wizard book should feel like. If anything, the fight scenes need massive improvement. Some fights feels like pokemon. Another point is that, the MC has never for once taken inspirations from his previous life in this world. There are countless things he could accomplish in a magic world with just a little bit of insight from earth's modern world.
Extremely well written and engaging novel. I hope this one reaches more than thousand chapters. Please support the author 🐱. Translation is great , no major or minor mishaps. Updating stability is fine too 3 chaps a day. Story development is progressive . Character design is good but I sometimes feel mc shows himself above humans while interacting with his servants World background is expansive.
This is a criminally underrated novel in this platform. I have read till chapter 148, and I found the worldbuilding very intricate. The system is not pro-active, apart from the OP passive skill that removes the limitations on the number of professions the MC can simultaneously practice, one can argue that it just quantifies the MCs effort and gives a proper direction for his advancements. Also the MC needs to find the information for professions and their hidden conditions for unlocking them on his own, and only then will the system validate them. Even after around 150 chapters, even if he has preliminary or incomplete knowledge about powerful professions, he cannot satisfy the physical or mental conditions to unlock them. This ensures that the power system is not broken. The MC gets an advantage in his versatility but he has to spend immense efforts to research and progress them all. First of all I find the worldbuilding incredibly done, no mindless info dump, no broken systems, no OP powers. The MC does not get handed powerful bloodlines or lucky opportunities, he earns them though his effort. Almost all the primary characters, allies or enemies have 'special talents' and there are records of some extremely powerful ones in history. The world is structured in such a way that 'special talents' are soul-bound and it is common knowledge that it cannot be stolen or taken away (as of chapter 148). Thus the MC can put up a facade of a reasonably (debatable) talented wizard, without greedy old men trying to dissect him for research. It saves me the trouble to skim though usual tropes like 'he was weak earlier, now strong, he must have an incredible treasure' storylines. This allows the MC to show reasonable progress and also get allocated more resources and opportunities from the organization. I find it more agreeable than a 'lucky' and secretive MC discovering secret realms and creating heaven defying techniques, as if the others are fools and have not found / thought about them before him. The only advantage the MC has is his ability to study / practice multiple professions which creates a positive feedback loop later in the story. Most of his original recipes / ideas draw inspiration from other professions, which to me makes sense why they were not discovered earlier as they were not common thought processes. I commend the author for the incredible research he has done for this novel. I find that the essence of multiple systems like breathing techniques of Knights, meditation / spells for Wizards, potion and alchemy / refining techniques incredibly blended together. Every basic path has tradeoffs and powerful paths have demanding conditions to unlock them. There is hardly any fillers or face slapping. There are good antagonists, cunning and resourceful, not brain-dead one dimensional characters. Till now I have yet to skip through mindless chatter that I find in other fantasy novels. There is no audience commentary during fights, as is should be, instead on the dynamics and techniques used. As for romance, there is no definite female lead yet. I like that the story does not objectify women and describe what type of 'jade beauty' she is. There are a few women characters and MC considers one of them as his close ally. She is talented and they both are pursuing theirs paths and collaborate when needed. Apart from the above, I have a personal note for the author / translator. I have read multiple novels and also fanfics of Harry Potter, Witcher, Marvel. But I kept looking for originality (I know its ironic in case of fanfics) and how I felt the power systems have not been adequately explored yet or stifled due to existing constraints. This novel fulfils all my expectations and more. This lengthy review is my way of repaying back for this great story. I hope the author / translator gets the attention he deserves. Thank you.
