If I remember correctly Warframes and Gates aren’t made by humans so they’re ruled out.

Considering the fact that midoriya was systematically bullied, beaten, and discouraged from the age of four I’m surprised he even managed to hold onto his dream of becoming a hero. Imagine ten years of being constantly told that you’re worthless and that your dreams can’t be accomplished. Now imagine a child going through that. The vast majority of suicides from bullying happen to those who are both older than him and have been bullied for a shorter amount of time as well, I think he shows plenty of mental strength from that alone. The fact that it was done from someone he considers his best friend is even worse…

I feel like the author is going a bit too hard on midoriya, he’s a child who’ been systematically beaten, bullied, burned, and discouraged by everyone around him except his mom since he was four years old. Expecting him to actually do things like working out to improve himself is naive considering that while he has hope he can be a hero he never actually believed it to be possible, in fact he was constantly told it was impossible.

Sorry if my comment seemed to be complaining, I didn’t really mean it that way but I’m not exactly an English major and writing feelings properly is an incredibly difficult thing for me. I appreciate your stories and realize that if I wrote stories they’d be nowhere near as good.

Okey after reading a few chapters ahead it’s seems I was wrong and you’ve thought through the explanation of the wand quite a bit. Still feels like an overdone trope but atleast the trope is done well.

I think the whole custom or ancient wand trope is overdone in hp fanfics, usually unless it’s something important to the actual story it just seems out of place and dramatic to me. Like the whole one of a kind miracle bird that sheds only one feather is just odd and unless it suddenly resurrects it doesn’t matter to the story. I would more expect something like a piece of lethifold to tie into the aspects of the soul that’s already prevalent in the story.

It seems well done, though I don’t understand how the mc is gonna bond with Fisk so daredevil might be a beater fit, other than that maybe change Jean over to the Sun and replace High Priestess with Wanda

I think both dawnguard and Dragonborn will be great to do, dawnguard because learning from a millennia old necromancer dragon is bound to be fruitful, and dragonborn mainly for the shouts and ahzidal. if he can mind control ahzidal through necromancy or something he could grow a massive amount.

I find it depressing that I know that the quote from balgruuf is ”burns my hold and slaughters my people” lol
