Hypnos was depicted as a young man with wings on his shoulders or brow. His attributes included either a horn of sleep-inducing opium, a poppy-stem, a branch dripping water from the river Lethe (Forgetfulness), or an inverted torch.]

Dude the size difference is at the corner where the monster and the human are both pink

I ran and ran as fast as I could without the bag's weight I was able to keep a noticeable distance but they were slowly closing it.

"Well, let your big cousin Emma take you." Emma said with a grin I could see even through my blindness.

Yeah the ancient Greeks did send the best part of their meals into the fire, but I think the dude was talking about a ritual for Janus which I know nothing about

Janus had no specialized priest assigned to him, but the King of the Sacred Rites himself carried out his ceremonies. His ubiquitous presence in religious ceremonies throughout the year meant that he was ritually invoked at the beginning of each ceremony, regardless of the main deity honored on any particular occasion.

I mean the Roman gods don’t look that different from the Greeks that is why he thought thy looked similar

The room seemed to expand, no it did expand when the torches lit, making the room four time grander than before, a fountain sprouted in front of us, breaking apart the tiled mosaic that covered the ground, a painting appeared on the front wall, of people feasting, I realized they were the gods it they looked slighlty different than they normally did.

Thx for the info

"Southern Border... who would've thought I'd end up in the same place as in the novel... at least it's not during Fang Yuan's era." Chen Wei transmigrated between the Thieving Heaven and the Giant Sun eras, but he didn't know exactly when, as the novel didn't provide details about dates.

Warhammer 40K

His secret is that he didn't originally belong in this world; he was a transmigrator from Earth or, as it was called in this world, an otherworldly demon. Normally, transmigrating to a world of fantasy and cultivation would be a cause for excitement and enthusiasm, but Chen Wei knew all too well the world he found himself in. This was a world of killing, where the strong intimidated the weak, and justice was nothing more than words thrown to the wind.

The last remaining leukrokotta lunged at my fallen body and started tearing into my stomach eating me alive. I tried stabbing it on any spot that I could but it seemed to do nothing as my eyes slowly closed and everything faded to darkness.

Can’t remember anything about that in the Iliad, the shield does have some importance but it isn’t magical in nature. The only actual magic weapon or armour, are both of Achilles’ armors.
