Meet Han Abrial Chae-young.

After being imprisoned in her parents' house for eighteen years and finally breaking free, her first goal is to, um...well, go straight back to the house. She has to, ok?! It's in order to rescue her best friend and (technical) servant, Finley, who's still stuck there, and for whom she doesn't feel anything except total platonic non-romantic non-sexual attraction (starts coughing violently cough COUGH).
In the Empire of Gongkua, Abrial will have many adventures, meet enigmatic people, cultivate the art of magic, and slowly experience the unfolding of a mysterious fate that has shrouded her from even before birth.
A mysterious fate involving the one and only murderer of millions, the cruel and heartless Emperor of Gongkua — the one who's wanted Abrial dead from the very beginning.

I like this story a lot. To start he female lead is awesome. I think it's not an easy character to write but so far it is consistent, hilarious and cute. There are always some things going on from the start and there is a grand scheme, but it's the characters who make this one of my favorite stories. The characters can be extreme and this spices up the story a lot, giving them life without spending entire pages on backgrounds like some stories do. The commoners at first can be annoying but I suppose that's the point, and you shouldn't drop it because of them.
this book is absolutely amazing. The writing is absolutely phenomenal. I promise that you will fall in love with this book just like the rest of us have✨✨10/10
This novel starts out with a slow-moving plot and gradually picks up speed until it reaches an exhilarating pace. I would say, don't let the slowness of plot at the beginning fool you or stop you from reading this. It's a great novel. [img=recommend]
I personally enjoy reading this story even though it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. The interactions of the characters are pretty realistic and cute and the author has a beautiful way of words! This story is a good recommendation to read.
I am absolutely loving this so far! The story is very interesting and the way it's written keeps me captivated. The characters are well though-out and have their own unique personalities that make them very memorable and lovable. I'm really excited to find out more about the mysterious fate surrounding Abrial.
I recommend reading if you're curious. The story starts off slow but builds nicely. Chapters are slightly short but it becomes worth it to continue reading. I'm really enjoying this novel so far! The worldbuilding feels so real and the characters are so interesting and authentic. In particular, I'm a big fan of this author's writing style. It feels like the right balance of poetic and evocative without being too hard to read. I look forward to reading more and learning more about the story!!

I really loved this read, can't wait till the story progresses more. The dialogue in this book is hilarious. The story it great for readers who enjoyed MXTX. The main character has a fiery personally, can't wait to see where this goes:) the artwork that goes with the story is also awesome. please keep on updating 🥰🥰🥰
