 (I'm 17 years old and this is my first time writing a fanfic if I do anything wrong tell me).

What if I tell you that there are some of us who have otherworldly bloodlines? Sounds unbelievable? Thought so as well, but here I am a walking demi-goddess in the flesh. 

Alec Kim, Daughter of Aphrodite, is living the life after Awakening at 18.
Heiress to the Kim Conglomerate, Beauty and Body to die for, a literal goddess on earth, Family and Friends who love her to the point of spoiling her, what more can she ask for? "My Goal is to conquer all men!!!"

Mason Gwon, No. 1 Business tycoon in Asia. Currentyly Residing in F city. He's a god among men, with a very well-toned body perfect facial features, just one look is enough to make all the panties drop. No woman can ever touch him because of a childhood trauma. By dinner time, Alec had already met all the members of the Rothschild family.
Blanche Rothschild, the lady of the household, and apparently Alec's 'big sister'. With blonde hair that shone like gold in the sunlight and green eyes, Blanche only appeared to be in her mid or late twenties.
Dietrich Rothschild, the eldest son of the household, had the same colouring as his mother, but his facial features were more like his father.
Kieran Rothschild, second son of the household, similarly also had blonde hair and green eyes, though his blonde hair was unlike his brother and mother, taking after his father more. He wore his hair in a similar style to his mother, in a braid that hung off his shoulder.
And finally, Blanche's husband and master of the household, Franz Rothschild. Like his wife, he had blonde hair, though it was a shade of dirty blonde instead of the blonde that looked like spun gold. He sported dark brown eyes and was just as handsome as his two sons.
The four Rothschild members sat at the dining table with Alec, doing their best to treat Alec like he was a member of their family instead of a guest.
Kieran and Dietrich were like a mix and match of their mother and father. It was an entertaining thought.
The four blondes sat at the table looking like a painted picture, with the way they seemed to sparkle under the light from the chandelier. They looked like a perfect representation of high society that most people could only dream of.
All four were attractive in a way that would make heads turn and stare.
Alec felt a little out of place at the table, mainly due to his looks, but the Rothschild family were including him in their conversation, such that he did not feel left out.
What Alec didn't know was that all four members of the Rothschild family were equally smitten with his looks, and his carried grace. With his dark hair, pale skin and crystalline blue eyes, Alec looked and carried himself like one of those from the disciples from a well-known sect, or clan.
His actions were filled with an easy grace that seemed to come naturally to him, something that made Kieran jealous. Imbuing such grace into his own actions had come with repetition that had to be painstakingly grilled into him since his childhood.
Kieran shuddered at the memories of the numerous, mind-numbing lessons, putting them aside.
Even Kieran, who was still struggling to accept the boy as his uncle was able to admit it to himself. Alec was really cute.
To say that the three males of the Rothschild family were baffled by Blanche's sudden acquisition of a child into their family was an understatement, much less adopting him as a younger brother of all things. Never had Blanche showed such behaviour before.
Whilst she wasn't – cold – Blanche also wasn't known for doing such things. If it had been up to her, she would have been happy to dismiss all the servants and live in solidarity without having to keep up the troublesome interactions.
The only reason why she didn't was because the others of high society would gossip, which would hurt her husband and children's reputation, so Blanche put up with it.
That didn't mean that she would go as far as to interact with the servants of her own accord, however, and she had never shown an interest in anyone outside of her immediate family.
It was something that had worried the three men of the household. Franz was worried that his wife had no friends or attachments outside of them.
It was the main reason why Franz had so wholeheartedly accepted Alec into the fold of their family even when Kieran still seemed to be struggling with the jealousy regarding the wealth of emotion that Blanche was showing Alec.
He had not seen such blatant emotion on his lovely wife's face for such a long time.
Alec looked between the various members of the family and marvelled at the family's genes. Had he not been in the know, he would never have guessed that Franz and Blanche were Kieran and Dietrich's parents.
Alec wondered just what their magic ranks were. They were definitely above him in that aspect. Even now, where he could feel the subtle wisps of magic that made up each member of the Rothschild family's magical signature, he was unable to accurately determine where they stood.
Alec didn't let the frustration of his stagnating magical capacity distract him. Jealousy was petty, and it wasn't like he wasn't doing his best to steadily raise his own level. He suspected that any day now, he would be able to break into the foundational stage.
He was looking forward to the changes that his magic would go through once he managed to get there. What would change in respect to his bond with his Awakened? Would he still regress back down to the elemental stage once he went past his limit to Awaken something?
There were so many questions that were left unanswered for now due to the lacking information on the Awakening Magitype that it would have made a lesser man – and that was what he was, no matter the form he took right now – frustrated.
"So, Alec," Franz finally asked the question that had been keeping him curious throughout their meal. "Are you from a sect?"
Alec's eyes widened slightly. "No, why do you ask?"
"Really? But the way you move… surely that isn't natural? A clan, then?" Kieran asked in disbelief. The teen set aside down the glass that he'd been swirling, intrigued, and more than a little jealous. He thought that the boy would have to at least have gone through a bit of etiquette training!
"What do you mean?"
"You're very graceful. Something that isn't usually honed or manged without being in contact with those who carry themselves in a similar way," Blanche interjected.
By now, the male Rothschild members were used to Blanche speaking more than she had in years. It seemed that Alec's presence made her open up more, whereas before she was more content to listen and only offer praise and criticism.
It wasn't that Blanche neglected them – far from it – but Blanche usually opted more for actions rather than words, which didn't always work.
Now, she seemed to realize that better communication was the key to obtaining the answers she wanted instead of silently taking action.
The only way they could describe it was that Blanche just seemed more connected to them now compared to before. For this, they were thankful towards Alec.
"Ah. I'm from a clan."
Alec waited for someone to ask or pry more about his answer, but they only nodded as if it had been all the confirmation that they needed.
There were a vast number of clans in the Kaoriht continent. So many that it was impossible to keep track of all of them. Only the most prominent ones were those that were remembered by the people.
Similarly, there were a good number of sects as well, though not as many.
The Rothschilds could guess that Alec was likely from one of the better-known clans, but they didn't know which one.
Up to this point, Blanche once again thought about Alec's negligent father, her grip on the knife and fork that she was holding tightening. Even if he was from a clan, that didn't mean that he should have been left out alone at the tender age of eight!
Even in the sects or clans, children weren't let out on their own since there was a high casualty rate. Seventeen or eighteen was generally the accepted age for a member to set out on their own.
Of course, there was a well-known exception to this unspoken rule. The Neil Clan, which was famous for pushing their members hard and fast – and they flourished under said pressure.
If Alec was from the Neil Clan, that would explain a lot of things, but he didn't have the signature brown hair even if his eyes were the right type of blue, so Blanche discounted it.
Other clans had tried to emulate the Neil Clan, only to fall short time and time again, crippling themselves in the process. The casualty rate was simply too high, and their members were too few.
Alec was way below that age limit, and Blanche literally could not wait to get her hands on that deadbeat father of Alec's… she was sure that she would be able to recruit her husband for this task. After all, her husband seemed to be quite fond of Alec thus far.
Silently, Blanche plotted…

"Because we know what would happen if we don't. We have been around for more than the years that you've lived. We've seen our allies fall right in front of us. We've seen others perished in battle. Did you think it wouldn't take a toll on us?" asked Mavislin, bending down to the obstinate child's height.

"Listen, we are the last of our kinds. We fell from the stars, and Earth was the only place that we can live in. Some of us weren't content with executing the decision but we had no choice. Where would you go if your entire planet was gone?"

"Then why choose to safeguard us all of a sudden?"

"Must there be a reason why we would choose to protect you?" asked Raiyen, smirking at the human.

"We chose to defend you that day and the many more days to come because of one simple reason. You'll learn this word is simple, yet so complex to uphold and understand. We defend you because we are kind. And we can't stand hearing children cry. We don't want Earth to fall victim to the remnants of the Great Noble War," explained Mavislin, tousling the boy's hair.

"If that is the case, why did you destroy the entirety of the neighboring village?"

Mavislin's eyes darkened as Baldwin glared at the three.

"Because they took the life of a Mage's child," replied Mavislin, her tone weighed with anger and sadness.

The boy's eyes widened with shock and looked elsewhere in shame.

"Her name was Abigail. She was the daughter of that Mage over there," said Mavislin, pointing at Baldwin.

Raiyen was on the equivalent level of shock as the human.

"I think I should allow the father to do the explaining instead," said Mavislin, gesturing Baldwin to speak to the boy.

"Tell me, boy. If I were to burn you at the stake for learning to walk, would you feel upset?" asked Baldwin, crossing his arms over his chest.

The frail boy raised his eyebrows in confusion.

"I would! That is what humans are meant to do! To walk!" yelled the puzzled boy.

"The similar thing applies to us Mages. We are born with Elements, so can you condemn us for being angry at you guys mindlessly killing our children?"

"Our skies tore apart, as the Great Noble War reached the Abyss Of Stars. My wife and I tried getting our daughter away from the planet but at the very last moment, failed. My wife, to save us, sacrificed herself to the Husks."

"We managed to get away, but by the time I tried getting to her, she was already gone. Abi was only a baby then, so I bore no courage to reveal her the truth," explained Baldwin, looking at the locket around his neck. 

"But since Abi was just a baby, it was unyielding for her to cope on this planet. When she entered school, she tried showing off her powers to her so-called 'friends'. I couldn't blame her. It was a new spell that she had been practicing for years."

"She merely wanted to convey to her peers what she was born with. But the rascals told the village elder and my daughter was burnt on the stake."

The human boy's hands trembled as he heard the man's story.

"Day by day, I still blame myself. For being weak, for being unable to protect my family. I failed to take care of my family. I was so foolish, thinking that humans would be able to accept us so easily. If I hadn't been so feeble, I would've been fit to have my wife by my side right now."

"If I hadn't been so trusting, I would've my daughter by my side now, joyously asking for another round of cake." 

The Angry Man took a deep breath as the villagers around them listened intently. They had to discover the truth. For years, they scarcely knew of the destruction of the village, but never the reason why.

They were having tunnel visions for so long that they completely settled for all Mages to be mindless murderers. No one expected the reason for the chaos for a hundred years would be caused by the death of a mere child.

"I couldn't control myself when I saw my daughter burning. Who could? I was upset at myself. I was tormented with humans for betraying us. I lost my daughter to the hands of the people who my wife and I thought were going to save us."

"She was the first to be burn, but not the last. An eye for an eye. That's why we can't blame the young Mages for causing chaos and death."

"We simply retaliated the same way humans had hurt us," replied Raiyen, playing with his daggers.

"But an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. In the wake of our chaos, we failed to prevent the events of the Husks from returning. That's the reason why we are now choosing to protect humanity," replied Mavislin. 

"We don't want any more children to cry."

In this universe, those who can manipulate certain Elements were called 'Mages'. From Water to Fire, and even Time itself, these Mages were bred in all corners of the Universe. 

Each planet created are known for their distinct Elements. 

A certain war came about and destroyed all in its wake. The Great Noble War, a war that took down a multitude of stars. For unknown reasons, the sole excuse for that terrible war was gone along with the great planet of Valokia.

But, from the remnants of galaxies that were affected, one particular galaxy called the Milky Way birthed something called the Solar System. This System was the collection of eight planets and their moons. 

They orbit around a star called the Sun, together with smaller bodies in the form of asteroids, meteoroids, and comets. A particular planet stood out from the rest as a haven to all; Earth.

Humanity was not very welcoming to these foreign beings, so the first few Mages developed a system as well as an organization, called the Congregation. All in hopes to protect these groups of gifted Mages.

But there is something strange about this organization...

As King Herald stands with the Rashald soldiers, their morale boasted but the ram was still ramming the gate. Then, King Herald commanded to shoot flame arrow onto the ram to set it on fire. Soldiers heed the order and starts to use flame arrow. Soon, the ram set on flame and unable to use. However, the ladders attack is still ongoing. King Herald and all defend with their lives on stake. 

Meanwhile...

(East Gate)

Minister Baldwin gives out order to half of the troops stationed on East Wall to move out and help out the North Wall. The East Wall commander in charge opposes the idea but Baldwin scold him for being not follwing order and kill him on the spot. Thus, the strength of the East Wall army reduced to half. East Wall soldiers were worried as they receiving news of bloodshed on North Wall but on their wall, nothing is happening to them. Khartagu main force is still stationed there, not moving an inch, just standing there like a mannequin. Suddenly, the soldiers on patrol murdered by Baldwin's personal army and replaced by them one by one. 

(North Wall)

With a sudden reinforcement sent by Minister Baldwin to North Wall, King Herald has no doubt as  he believes on Baldwin action is to help him to defend the wall and that is Baldwin strategy. 
King Herald and the North Wall soldiers keeps on defending. Never that they will realise, after the first reinforcement reach, there will be another force following behind.

(30 minutes ago, East Wall)

After Baldwin personal army replaced the soldiers on patrol, Baldwin gives out signal to Khartagu and opened the gate. Khartagu and his army marched in the city. Baldwin brought his family and greeted Khartagu at the gate. To his horror, Khartagu ordered his guard to capture Baldwin and his family. Baldwin was shocked, he asked, "Great Leader, what are you doing?! I did as you want! You promised me that you will not kill my family!". 
Khartagu smiled and said, "Indeed I will keep my promise of not killing....Guards, keep Baldwin's beautiful sole daughter into my tent and his wife ... into the tent of the greatest warrior of today's war."Then, he laugh out loud and struck his blade towards Baldwin. Baldwin last sight was his beheaded body ; his both wife and daughter the second before everything ends....
After the first batch of riders numbered 20 thousands entered the city, the riders commanded by Khartagu to attack the North Wall from inside and the remaining army will march to the castle. On the march, they slaughtered all man and old, capture young woman and children.

The troop that approaching after the reinforcement from East Wall starts to kill from behind. King Herald was shocked as he saw that. Why there is Khartagu's army in the city! He quickly gives out command to retreat to the castle. Sound of horns being blew to sounds the retreat signal. However, with both front and back being attack, the Rashald army was unable to retreat nor attack. Soon, they were being surrounded. 

"My King! You shall live on and revenge for us! We will open up a route for you!", Captain of Kings' personal guard said to King Herald. The commander of Khartagu laugh out loud when he heard this. He shout, "None of you shall leave here alive...hahahahahha"! 

"Kill!!!" 

Khartagu's commander and King Herald was shocked and curious who shouted that. 

Suddenly, a group of young man, armed with swords breaks into the formation from behind and create a safety route. "For The King!" Shouted by them. The formation by Kartagu's army becomes a mess and one young man reach King Herald. 
"My King, the castle has fallen, the kingdom has fallen but with you alive, we can stands up once again! Please leave with us!" said the young man. 

"How can that happen?! Where is the queen and princess??"asked King Herald. 

"The Queen protected the princess and died....then  the princess she..." 
Before the young man finishes his sentence, a blade chopped by breaks the conversation. It was the Khartagu's commander. The young man push the King away and confront the commander. He rush in and stabs his sword towards the horse's neck which the commander riding on. The horse jump up and drop the commander. The commander fell on the ground and roll himself further to stand up as the young man stabs his sword towards the spot where he fell. He stood up and ask, "Bastard! What is your name?! How dare you try to kill me, The Brave Tharaki!". The young man did not heed his words and run towards Tharaki. Tharaki was angered and he lift up his blade, ready to chop the young man into half. He chop down but young man side step to the right side evaded the attack and countered with a slice to Tharaki left arm. Tharaki's left arm was sliced off and blood spills out but the attack did not stop there. The young man takes the opportunity and place his swords onto Tharaki neck. He said ," This mark the end for Brave Tharaki". 

*Bishieek 

The sword slices Tharaki's neck and the blood spills out like fountain. Tharaki kneels down as he slowly fell on the ground...lifeless. The young man earns the victory but the war did not stop eventhough the commander been killed. The other barbarian soldiers act even delightful when they sees the death of their commander because they know as he killed there will be another spot for them to climb up above the others. They starts to kill mercilessly to earn battle points. This scene scare out the young man and King Herald. 

Soon, one by one, the soldiers of Rashald Kingdom died and their blood paints the wall to the ground. King Herald, personal guards, the young man and the remaining 100 soldiers were captured. The vice commander of the Khartagu's army took control and ordered to bring them to the castle. Along the way, dead bodies of Rashald Citizens can be seen laying on the ground, stabbed in the heard, body parts everywhere and the most evil was the barbarians are raping in the public. The women are screaming for help, some are shivering in fear at the corner and children's cry can be heard. 

King Herald cried when he see's these scene. All the soldiers were in despair. Even the young man couldn't hold in and tears flow down his face. King Herald thanks the young man for his bravery to save him and asked for his background. The young man replied, "My King, I am Lemu, the second son of the old guard, the younger brother of the skinned guard. My father had died because of grieves due to my brother's death and left me with my younger brother. " .... "I am sorry , My King. I'm unable to save you and the Kingdom.". He bow down his head and cry.

King Herald was touched and he tell Lemu not to feel sorry as he had did his best. Deep in these men heart, hatred and sadness conquered them. Tears stop flow but blood starts to be seen. Some soldiers felt too despair as what happened to their family and friends, to the kingdom. They had betrayed the oath they had made during enlistment, the oath to protect the kingdom no matter what happen till death. Now, they are just a captive like an animal inside the cage, unable to do anything. One of soldier bite his tongue to kill himself. Just like that, a man life gone forever.  There were no reaction from the barbarian who saw the death of the man. In their mind, there will be only the strong will live; the weak will fall. 

Soon, the group of captives reach the castle and all brought to the front of Khartagu. 
"Kneel beneath the feet of our Great Leader, Khartagu!" shouted by one of Khartagu's retainers. 
All the legs of captured Rashald citizens including King Herald were hit by the Barbarian soldiers to kneel down. 

"Well, well ,well, the King of Rashald Kingdom, King Herald" said Khartagu. His voice echoed the hall. "You once said the barbarians do not have the strength, do not have the intellectual, cannot even compare to a little child of Rashald Kingdom. Now, open your eyes! Your kingdom! Your beloved Kingdom! Is now mine...." said Khartagu. Khartagu evil laugh follows on as he finishes the sentence. 

"I am sorry for what I had said and what I had done  to your tribe but please the civilians are innocent. They have nothing to do with this. Please let them go", begged King Herald. Khartagu gives out a kick towards the chest of King Herald and he shouted in pain but Khartagu did not stop after one kick. He kept on delivering multiple kicks on King Herald body until King Herald vomitting blood. 

"My King!", outcried all Rashald Kingdom's soldiers. 

Khartagu gives out a big laugh as he watches the soldiers expression. Then, he ordered all soldiers who outcried earlier to be killed. 

"No!!!", yelled King Herald. 

One by one, the soldiers got beheaded. Blood flush out from the body like a fountain. Red hot blood splashes onto the floor non-stop. The first one gt beheaded was the captain of the personal guards for King Herald. King Herald eyes flowing with tears as he kept on shouting, "Stop...Please Stop.. I'll do anything, Please Stop!". When the moment Lemu head almost got chop, Khartagu gives out signal to stop the killing. Khartagu kneel down in front of King Herald and push his head onto the floor. "Lick it! Lick the blood and I will consider from continue to kill your man...", said Khartagu. 
King Herald did not hesitate and he lick the blood which were spilled by his personal guards' captain.
Tears dripping off King Herald's cheek as he lick. 

All the barbarians including Khartagu gives out a big laugh as they watching King Herald lick the blood of his own retainer. Then, Khartagu ordered his retainer to throw King Herald and other captives into the dungeon. As the soldiers bringing the captives towards the dungeon, a messenger arrive and whisper something to Khartagu. Immediately, Khartagu and two of his retainers walk away with the messenger. 

(Dungeon) 

In the dungeon, only darkness can be seen, rats crawling can be heard and death can be smell. The air in dungeon was hard to breath in, the temperature is cold enough to keep the ice from melting. If one wishes to know when its the time, day or night, they will need to ask the prison's guard. Each one of the captives, armor was removed, only a thin layer of clothes remain. One by one, the captives separated into different cells. Some have to spend the night with rats, some need to spend the night with human bones and some with both. Coincidentally, King Herald and Lemu were placed next to each other. 
After the soldiers finished the duty, they leave the dungeon without sparing a torch in the dungeon to give the prisoner some warm. 

"Lemu" called King Herald. 

"Yes, My King" answered Lemu. 

King Herald did not hesitate at once after the enemy soldiers left the dungeon and he ask Lemu for his baby princess whereabout. Lemu tells King Herald that the princess has been taken to the safe house at the south district of the city under the protection of his uncle, Lawwis when the enemy attacked. During the process, Queen Mari was killed as she threw herself towards the enemy soldiers to buy some time for Lawwis to bring the princess to safety. 

King Herald was happy that his princess is safe but sad that his beloving Mari has been killed. Then, he just sit at the corner of his cells in silent.
Suddenly, the metal gate of the dungeon entrance can be heard opening and multiples of footstep are approching the King Herald's cell. Instead of opening King Herald's cell door, the prison guard open Lemu's cell door. Three of the guards walk into the cell and beat Lemu. Then, they drag him out of the dungeon with both hands tied. All prisoners were shocked of this sudden event. 

(Three hours later)

Lemu was brought back by the guards. To the horror, Lemu was stripped off and his face was punched until even his own father will not be able to recognise him. In this cold dungeon, Lemu's life is in danger. One of the prison guards exclaimed, "If any of you wishes to be like him, just tell me and I will gladly help you with it". Then, he slap his own ass and make some lewd face. Another guard then  make another announcement, "Anyone who is willing to gives out the location of the princess will be given a chance to live on and.....will be rewarded." Once he finish the sentence, he did not wait for the any of the prisoners to respond and left the dungeon with other guards.

"Dr. Neri shouldn't we stop him?" Secretary Yun anxiously asked, with just the 3 of them inside, he's ready to call 30 more people just to stop his Boss. 

"no, it's tiring." Zahn refused, still focus on the piece of paper.

"...." 

Soon after, a loud banging at the door can be heard followed by Yeri's angry voice.

Shin halted but still seething with anger, just the thought of losing Yeri...

What if he wasn't close to her at that time? like he went to the comfort room or prepared her food? it was just a seconds difference, even if he's just nearby with Yeri unable to walk yet, he won't make it on time.

He almost lost her, his heart, his everything!

"you should talk to her..." Zahn spoke seeing Shin finally stopped. "Once her parents visits again, i'll tell them her old room is under renovation."

"sorry, i'll send someone to fix your office."  

Zahn felt slightly startled, Shin Keir actually apologize? he's more human now than before, must be the girlfriend effect? 

"that person is back?" He just got acquainted with Shin during college so he never really met Shin's older step-brother but he know that person is the reason behind Shin's psychotic behavior.

"I insist." Zahn stand firm, a cold glint flashed his eyes. Who asked them to used his hospital for their scheme? 

"Shin Keir! what is wrong with you?!" Yeri yelled, the doctor earlier clearly said he fractured both his hands from slamming against the wall and yet it look more horrible now. Is he planning to cripple his hands?! 

She already find it unfair that they're leaving her out of the discussion but upon seeing Shin's bleeding hands, her disappointment turned into an outrage.

"let's go check your new room." Shin acted nonchalant and wheeled Yeri out. "the view isn't as good as the previous one since you'll be moving from the 10th to 5th floor, if you don't like it, i'll arrange another room for you."

"I had them installed sensors and detectors, the glass walls are bullet resistant and-"

"shut-up!" Yeri snapped. "if you don't want to tell me, fine! just shut-up!"

There was a dead silence till they reached the new room, Yeri know Shin just wanted to protect her but what's the point of keeping her in the dark? is she that helpless or dumb for him not to trust her? is he expecting her to just act like a wallflower after everything that happened?

If this is his love then she don't want it!

Shin couldn't bare seeing Yeri's sad state, he felt his heart breaking into a million shards. He knew it won't be long till his enemies, especially that person would find out Yeri's existence but why did it have to happened when she's still recuperating and they're still at the early stage of their relationship.

Once she know her life is in danger because of him, will she change her mind and hate him? 
 
Shin took some cotton and disenfectant lying around and kneeled in front of Yeri. "Wifey, will you help me with my wounds?"

Yeri sighed, she's really mad at him but she also can't stand seeing his hands, afterall he got injured because he protected her. 

"your hands should be treated by a Doctor, not just some bandage and alcohol." she gently wipe Shin's hands with a cotton, complaining about the wounds from time to time. "this one need stitches and this too...did Dr. Neri checked your other wounds?"

Yeri paused, she can feel Shin's dark aura errupting again. 

"Oldest son of Allister Keir and his deceased wife..." Shin fell silent for a moment, his deadly eyes fixated on his hands. "he's also the person who killed my mother."

"...." Yeri felt stunned, clearly Shin don't want to acknowledge that person as his step-brother, she recalled Shin's still young when his mother died, moreover, she was pregnant. 

Does that mean his step-brother did that at a young age?!

"...." Yeri slightly panic with Shin desperately clutching her hand while kneeling, anyone looking at them will most likely think she's an evil wife bullying her husband.

"Shin, will you listen? first of all, I am not afraid of your bro- that Alec person, second, thank you for saving me earlier, it wasn't your fault, alright? and I'm sorry about your mother." 

"you still like me?" Shin asked, looking at her with puppy eyes.

The story is about a young prince ' Alex ' who is awarded for his bravery , the Kingdom of Arrendle .

The simulation of the hospital broke down, the walls lost all color and then dissolved to an empty space.

Adam was standing on an invisible floor, unsure of what exactly was happening.

He had originally tried breaking through the security of the containment drive, but the power of his processing ability required twenty minutes of pure focus to break it. 

That was something the simulations would not give him a chance to do, the drive would change security tactics between every simulation change.

'How did he break the simulation? He didn't seem like an AI'

Adam knew the way Syndy spoke and acted were that of an AI, very logical with only a minor personality behind it. This shrill voiced boy was very emotional with his words, they showed the joy of his actions.

Suddenly a cloud of pixels emerged from the floor. The cloud rendered and slowly came into focus. Standing in front of Adam was a short, young man with blonde hair and brown eyes.

The boy was no older than twenty, he looked very excitable and had an odd look in his eye. The look made it seem like you were staring at a live-wire, whipping around and ready to electrocute somebody.

He wore the same black jumpsuit as Alec and the others did, although his was glowing along the white lines as if they were neon lights.

"Pleasure to meet you." The kid instantly stuck out his hand to Adam. "I'm Cameron Quinn, and you my friend; are a monstrosity."

Adam was about to shake his hand, but was taken aback two step at the name 'monstrosity.'

Cameron seemed to ignore Adam's reactions and proceeded to conjured a tablet out of thin out. His finger dashed across the tablet at high speed without stopping for a moment.

He was staring at the screen while aiming the tablet at Adam, sometimes glancing up at him. He almost seemed like an artist; analyzing his work and adjust every little thing.

This went on for about thirty seconds, Cameron kept muttering under his breath a random word or two, then he just froze all together.

His live-wire look seemed to hang in space for a moment, then he suddenly carried on like nothing happened. Adam could not understand what was happening in this kid's head.

"Umm, what exactly is happening?" Asked Adam.

Cameron froze three more times in the span of 40 minutes. So many more questions were flowing through Adam's mind, but he couldn't get a single one to register with Cameron.

He was just in his own little world of energetic insanity, and unfortunately, it seemed that Adam was in the center of it now too.

When the door slid open, Alec peered in and sitting in the small office was none other than Dr. O'Neal.

"Hello Mr. Hargrove, it's been a while." She lightly smiled and gestured to the chair in front of her desk.

Alec couldn't believe what he was seeing. Dr. Miranda O'Neal was once his young therapist during his heavy depression stages; now she was running the very same program she introduced him to so he would stop destroying himself. 

'Fate has an odd way of showing affection in my life.' He thought.

"Heh, yes it has. At this point in the game, I think you can just call me Alec. The formalities probably died long after we both came aboard the station."

"Fair enough, then it's only appropriate that you address me as Director O'Neal, no excuses." She seemed to suppress a small snort of laughter after replying.

Alec shook his head and sat down.

When he sat down, he noticed a few things. The impish energy she once had during their old sessions was gone, she carried a more serious air around herself.

The smile she had shown was only across her mouth, her eyes had more of a sadness behind them.

She had even aged a decade since they last met; Alec kept thinking how Syndy must have pulled her out a while ago. They might have the same biological age at this point.

The cryostasis pods made age irrelevant to the crew members, they did not age during the long sleep.

"I know you're probably tired after the last four days, only God knows how tired I am too. I'm gonna make this quick." She said bluntly.

"Please do." Alec could feel himself sinking into sleep while leaning into the cushioned chair.

"I need your help with waking up the whole station."

Cameron suddenly turned his tablet over for Adam to see. There was a male human figure on the screen and close-up of a face next to it.

The male was very realistic looking, the body and physical structure were like an average, healthy man in his early twenties. The face was somewhat narrow and had a long nose to match, while the blue eyes shone in a bright contrast to the straight, brown hair and eyebrows.

Adam didn't have any idea what the standards were for a human to be attractive or ugly, his existence had only started about four hours ago.

"This looks good." Adam looked down and his body refocused into the designs Cameron had just showed him. "Wait… what did I look like before this?"

"Kinda like a faceless, white mannequin; it was horrifying to watch you move around in Syndy's simulation. Especially when you stabbed the one guy in the face." The smile never left Cameron's face, his energetic tone proved he didn't care how Adam had behaved.

"Ahh, is that why you called me a monstrosity earlier?"

"Ehh partially, so what are you doing here?"

"I have no clue, nothing has been making sense since I woke up."

"No no, I meant why are you still in this drive? Why not leave?"

"Oh, well I can't, I checked and this place isn't plugged into the central server ports like before. Plus, Syndy's simulations were keeping me from ending the program. I don't understand how someone could get in or out."
