Chart is a plane in the central region of the galaxy, home plane of humanity, Chart is an earth classed planet, the population of the plane is roughly 13 billion, the age of space travel has already started.

Roughly at 2132 June 12, 11:23 an anonymous object has appeared in the orbit of Chart, the object has started falling in great speed towards the ground, after impact the object suddenly disappeared, no further information is available.

There has been a contact with the object, a women has changed from human into something much more, we can’t seem to be able to kill her, we even tried to exterminate her with explosives it worked, but to make sure she stays dead we gathered her remains and put them in a container filled with liquid nitrogen, this greatly slowed the regeneration but we couldn’t stop it.
This woman is a walking dead, the only way to stop her is by severing her limbs, but it isn’t a permanent solution I require the HQ to send additional researchers and find a way for us to kill this thing, it wants to eat all of us!

A young boy, Alex wakes up to find himself in a parallel world where people can manifest cards as superpowers.

His dream quickly turns awry when he discovers not only his lack of talent, but the difference in the behavior of his friend and even his family. 

However he doesn't give up and decides to chart his own path to become the Master of Cards!

after settling his thoughts on the matter of his death and how the people of his previous world hates him even if all he did was make their lives better and save the planet. 

it was not easy to move on from this and for some moment he thinks that he is in hell and it is his torture to know that people hate him for doing good.

after some time he let go. the light being did not say anything to him because he too knew that it was devastating to know that people wished for your death even if all you did was to help them.

so after Michael let go of these thoughts he again speaks to the entity " so I am getting reincarnated" 

"yes "

" and the world that I am going to reincarnate. is that you decide or I can decide it." Michael asks.

" well, the world and power are decided by Omni roulette. the world can be of anime, manga, light novel, a t.v. a show like originals, a wuxia world where you can reach the top with bullshit cultivation and bashes the young masters, the world can be of marvel or d.c., or it can be a simple world like the big bang theory. it all comes down to your luck." the being answered.

" but, you can form your character chart and can choose your species and looks but the background is again chosen by your luck". the being further explained.

Michael was in deep thought about his situation and finally decided to go with the flow of events.

Michael just hopes that the world that is chosen for him should be the one he knows about. Michael was also an otaku so he was not a newbie to the concept of reincarnation. he with his whole heart wishes that the world which was chosen for him turned out to be an anime like one piece, DBZ or naruto e.t.c.

" ok, let's start," Michael said with a new fire in his eyes excitedly.

the being looks at Michael and then snaps his fingers and a white ball which was illuminated with light manifest in front of Michael with a television type screen. 

" Please put your hand on the commence the lottery spin" instructed the being and Michael did so.

when Michael put his hand on the ball the screen lights up with various colors and then a spinning wheel image with a needle centered on one part of the wheel showed up. the wheel started spinning and after some time stops and the words on the screen were 

     MY HERO ACADEMIA 

Michael was just staring at the screen. there was a pin-drop silence and after some time Michael shouted with his fist-raising toward the sky with a happy face.

" yeahhhhuuuu" 

Michael was beyond happy he knows practically everything about the world. particular anime was his favorite because of its animation and story. yes, it was pretty much for kids according to manga they have a simple concept of black and white, heroes, and villains no grey line just pure black and white but this world was something really great it was like whether or not you want to read the manga but you get attracted towards it. 

*cough* 

" if you have been settled down then should we proceed toward the character chart." the entity reminds him and bring him back to reality.

" oh yes, the character chart." mused Michael, still in his fantasy if what he will do once he reincarnated in that world.

a blue screen with two sections appears in front of him. In one section there was a hologram of a human body structure and on second some states like race and sex.

he goes for the race section which was way too specific. like there were thousands of races and their breeds. there were all types of races from fishes to the shark, dogs to wolves, cats to lions, and humans. 

now there were some of the animal races too that were with a quirk like the chimeras and some specific animals with a quirk.

there was even a nomu race there. it was mind-blowing Michael.

so he simply searches the human race now there were two types of the human race, humans with a quirk or quirkless. 

so he definitely chooses human with a quirk.

then there was a sex tab. for choosing whether you want to be a male or female or a trap. no matter how much he wants to click the trap he chooses the male.

after that, there was a physique option. in this, there was not some racial physiology like Kryptonian or anything like that. no, it was a simple human physique like insane muscle hyperthermia or a simple physique e.t.c.. 

Michael doesn't like too much buff what he likes is swimmers' physique. and so he chooses the swimmer physique.

after that comes his face types, there were a lot of face types too like round face, chiseled jawline face, etc. he chooses an ovel typeface with the chiseled jawline.

after that, he comes to the eyes section where he was able to choose his eye color. he immediately chooses the red color.

after that comes the height when he would be at his peak. he set the peak height at 6'6 feet.

there were other options too like skin color etc but he skips them.

after that, he turns toward the being and asks " uh sir if you don't mind I'd like to ask some questions about my reincarnation"

I'm Kevin, just Kevin... I don't have any parents and was raised in an orphanage. I don't hate being there. Instead, I felt lucky. I watch TV news and see how messed up adults were in my young days. I feel so lucky not having to deal with their antics and adult affair. I watch husband and wife fight because of money even small arguments will become a devastating trauma when they accumulated to a child's mind. 

I am now sitting on a park bench chair alone at night. Why? Because I'm already 18 and thrown out with just my pillow, 7 pairs of clothes, and ten thousand Peso money I save from part-time jobs.

I will just go to some computer shop to play League of Legend for the night. I need to relax before I make my next decision. From my current life, I discover that I need to relax, calm, and a little paranoid before I act. This helped me many times and keep my life safe. Playing Dota 2 will not give me much relaxation and ease but tension and excitement.

Why? Because this game is full of surprises! I'm a player traumatized by Pudge and Invoker. Their toxic community is a high-level tier compare to LoL's toxic gamers. Their player tilts others just for being a noob beginner.

Watching some anime will be a huge no-no... Why? I hate Japanese beta-mc. They give me the next level of vibes of stupidity for unknown reasons. Then those hypocrite looking girls that straight out a fantasy for them to exist. Yeah! A fantasy-style setting with fantasy-style characters than a bunch beta-mc with denseness akin to earth's mantle and stupidity ideals. The only thing I watch is naruto while looking at how they use propaganda as a large scale weapon but I now stopped watching its a continuation that is Boruto that somehow becomes an Eye-ball battle. 

"Open hour please..." I said to the staff at the front desk. 

I sat on the cozy foam seat and got absorbed in with others silently playing. I smile as I enjoy playing as Jax. Yeah, I greatly favor this champion. A man who gives an advantage to the enemy even in the fight for death. He sure is cruel to himself. This man was imposed by a rule to not use any weapon but he got a lamp post just to fight.

While enjoying my game the lights suddenly die out. All of us inside the internet shop were blinded by the darkness. 

"What happens?"

Others complain but I just stare at my screen awed as a red text panel appears.

In my excitement, I clicked the yes then it died down like it was there at the very beginning. I sighed like some MC in anime.

"Aren't I the protagonist now?! Look at me losers!!" I winked in front of me knowing you are there. Others look at me with confusion and some mocked me. 

"Sorry for the trouble but the whole street seems to go under brownout. Due to the broken transformer. We have to close for now." The staff said while we all just grumbled. 

Wearing my bag and hooded jacket I lean my back on the park bench again alone in the dark night. I reach for my phone to see something to relax my mind. Instead of relaxing, I was shocked by the changes it has. 

My phone was an old phone is just a flip phone. Yeah, I want to change this shit but it got me first. It somehow becomes a 6-inch touch screen phone. I don't know what brand it is as it was just blanked out. Browsing it some time, this phone is advance by 50 years than the current leading phone right now. Having 100TB as storage, 10 TB as processing capacity and others are just normal apps except a Mercenary App.

When I got to the main deck, the sun had set and darkness had almost enveloped the surroundings. Strangely enough the ship was lit and instantly illuminated the way to the helm deck and the captain's cabin. If the ship has considered me its captain it should be my room.
 
Thankfully just like the Detachment Room, inside the Captain's Room was not at all empty.
 
The wooden desk at the center of the room was decorated with some sort of canvas that could only be considered as a chart; however the chart was all black, except for a small lighted area, if I had to surmise it would be where the ship is currently docked.
 
"Let as see if it reacts..." 
 
Using my index finger, I double clicked at the lighted area... and as I have guessed the chart enlarged itself and showed the cliff that the 『』 ship was currently docked. The blackened area probably indicates areas that still need to be explored. Since I have walked a distance from where I have been initially, I had cleared a few explorations in the chart.
 
I zoomed out and click on a random blackened area on the chart.
 
"Would you like to select this place as a destination for auto-pilot?"

'Convenient.' I thought. It would seem that I can use this map to also navigate to a destination I want to proceed, and I plan to do it here almost all of the time until I can learn how to work the helm like a real captain can.
 
Since I am still inspecting the ship, I clicked 'NO' and move to a corner of the room with bookshelves lined at the sides. Of course bookshelves stores books in them and was instantly intrigue by them. As captain I need to read its contents, there might be some information about this place. Well here is to hoping.
 
As always as a right handed person I began the inspection of the books on the left side shelves while making my way to the right, the books are thick and hard bounded copies. Mysteriously, although it should have been old, I can still smell the smear of ink in some of the books. I am guessing that the ship has somehow preserved it all this years.
 
"Ohhh!!!" I involuntarily shouted. As I have surmised this ship is indeed a gold mine.
 
Scanning through the first book I had picked up from the shelf, it would seem that the previous owner of the he ship collected a lot of magic books, and some of them are even hand written and all topics where about magic.
 
The contents looks advanced from the way it was written: (MAGIC TRANSMUTATION), (MAGIC ENGINEERING) amongst others. These seem a bit complicated for an average mind like mine but as a teacher in my previous world learning a thing or two from books is a given, in due time I should be able to decode and understand them.
 
I am certain that the author was definitely from another world, as some of the books used characters in some country I am familiar with.
 
Although I am not from that country or teaching that country's language, I did study the language as a hobby (as an otaku I have watched and read anime, manga, games and light novels you see) so I should be able to understand some of it. 
 
The terminologies written in Kanji are going to be hard to decode but as usual with time, it should be possible to read them. Some books that had characters that are unfamiliar with me are going to be hard though, and made another mental note to learn the language of this world soon too.
 
"It would seem that the previous captain was a person from the country to the north of my own. I guess I am not the only one who got transmigrated to this world..." 
 
With the help of these books, I should start practicing basic magic. Although most of the books were advanced magic, I should be able to see some basic magic books on it. There are also books about alchemy mixed in the other shelves which is also a mythical magical synthesis in my previous world.
 
I have scanned through the last shelf to the left. So it was time to read the books on at the right. There were also a lot of book here still about magic but there were some books which were quite unique, they were bound by leather and had a scent of a slightly different ink. When I opened one of the books, it had "Lunamaia's Journal" written in both English (LUNAMAIA) and Japanese (の日記).
 
"…So Lunamaia was the name of the previous Captain." The journal seems to be well written, just like the hand writing in the magic and alchemy books. Scanning right through it, these were some of the most important words that caught me:
 
"When my family died with the espionage hunting.... decided to go for a journey."
 
"Looks like my family had secretly stashed a ship they could not decipher and lead to the suspicion that they were spies from another country or were harboring spies."
 
It would seem that the previous owner was from a well off family, but something happened that lead to the espionage hunt and they were victims... or perhaps it could be the truth without the knowledge of the previous captain... anyway her parents were killed. Since she had better luck than her parents and was able to escape the fate they received she instead used the ship to travel around, practiced magic and even wrote about it.
 
With a lot of sessha and degozaru in the text I should surmise that the previous captain was indeed from the land of anime and might have come from a time of the old or perhaps simply a quirk of the previous captain.
 
"Ha?"
 
"It's empty." I scanned the entire journal from the same shelf, but they were all empty. Judging from the sheer numbers, she must have kept track of her journey. There must be a mechanism to read it, but as of the moment it should be beyond me or so I thought when an inspiration hits my head.
 
"Well, the previous captain must have put a mechanism on it in order for it to be read." If you eliminate the impossible whatever remains no matter how improbable must be the truth. But in this case the correct answer is most likely the improbable -MAGIC.
 
With magic as my source of information from the previous captain -Lunamaia's Journals, I decided to at least try some magic before calling it a day or should I say night for when I got out, the crispy wind from the cold night welcomed me.
 
"brrr..." I involuntarily hugged myself. "Ok... time for some fire magic."
 
"Rarurilulika muka ni? ...Sa dura kisuta mo?"
 
Damn looks like that did not go to well, I mean aside from the fact that I sounded stupid after speaking plain gibberish, nothing came out from my hands, no warmth engulfed me or flames that should have burned me.
 
"I must have said it wrong." 
 
Ok let me try again...
 
"Raru *** ika **** **** ni *** *** kisuta mo." A tiny spark was emitted from my fingers.
 
"Ohhhhhh!" I see, the correct incantation, confidence, proper image and Mana must be present for it to work.
 
As I scanned back with the notes Lunamaia-sensei left behind, it confirmed it. According to them, Magic is the manifestation of a person's will and imagery, so chanting them with confidence matters in the process while directing a flow of Mana and should do the trick.

I could see some spark, I must have said the words correctly and I should have said it with utmost confidence or at least for it to have the effect...
 
When the sparks finally subsided...
 
"Grrrrrraaarrrrhhhhhhh!"
 
An intense pain struck my whole body. No I could almost feel it within me like fire, ice and other things that I could think of trying hard to rip my body to shreds from the inside.
 
Then darkness...
 
"hmmm..."
 
"I felt like I was in a long dream..."
 
That was a weird dream, I mean, dreaming that I was summoned to another world and was gifted with a ship... a ship...
 
Yup, it was no dream, although it pains me to be familiar with it, I was now looking at the captain's –no, my ship's room's cabin's ceiling.
 
"Wai...?" How did I get to the bed? I was practicing magic at the main deck so it should be a given to have been lying in there. Instead, I was completely tucked in bed. There should have been no one to transport me to the bed since I am the only one here, and yet here I am.
 
I check my surroundings and true to my visual keenness there were no one else.
 
"Is there anybody there?" I tried to call for anybody that might have gone outside but none answered.
 
As I have surmised no one should have been able to carry me to the bed, yet I am lying on it comfortably. 
 
The most logical thing to do right now is to check the ships memory log which is thankfully can be accessed within the Captain's Room.

"Phewwww..." Despite the ridiculously long cooldown time, I was saved because of it. It would seem that this ship is secretly looking out for me.
 
Also since the answer was given I finally remembered why I was even brought to this room from the mishap last night that almost got me killed. It would seem that I have this condition known as Mana Intoxication Syndrome which is detailed as sudden fluctuations of Mana and will become toxic to my body, and somehow it was deemed fatal
 
That would mean that the fluctuation of casting a simple fireball spell exceeded the intake and output from my body and I took the toll, this is a going to be hard, I mean from the looks of it, I am unable to use magic due to this so called Mana Intoxication Syndrome.
 
"Damn..." 
 
While cursing to myself, I saw the book that I was using to practice with a simple fireball magic was still in my hands; it would seem that the book was considered part of me so it was transported together with me... It was titled: [Basics of Magic].
 
Just thinking about what happened last night and what I just learned now, I so wanted to throw the book. But there is no need to harm a book which could have not known about my condition and so dropped it in front of me. As the leaves of the book fluttered from the fall it opened to a certain page.
 
"...While casting magic uses mana from your 'Mana Reservoir', Alchemy maybe able to use Mana from other sources..." My eyes involuntary followed the lines from the page.
 
"It can be from your own, but it does not a necessity do so unlike magic."
 
"…Like for example using Mana Crystals to substitute your lack of Mana Aptitude to finish an alchemic process."
 
"Ohhhh"
 
It would seem that unlike casting magic, alchemy can be done without using my own mana. I instantly added an alchemy atelier to my mental note after creating my forge.

A lone male is sent to another world. 

Was he summoned as a hero or a villain he did not know. 

After all he was alone in a white sandy luxurious beach, he does not possess any cheat abilities, or powerful equipment. He has nothing but his white t-shirt, black pants, back shoes and a ship...

How will his journey shape this world, read through his Journals to find out.

1st problem: The 100k word system list

When writing a story with that overused trope, refrain from giving a system list too much information. Many stories may look like they have a lot of words, but most of them are spent giving their readers a detailed list of their character's abilities. Spend your words like how you spend money. Frugality is a virtue. Some authors have found ways to move around this obstacle, like some stories who have an updated google doc with all the information recorded in a chart, or others who keep it brief by combining skills with an explanation for why. 

Too many abilities could also be a cause of this. Keep your readers updated, yes, but if the character gains 69 abilities every chapter, I wouldn't want to read it. Give every attribute time to develop. Please don't rush that stage. Of course, you could be the protagonist a badass later, but there must be a development stage, or the book wouldn't be satisfying. Make the reader feel like they are growing with the main character (I will shorten it to MC from now on). 

2nd problem: The Emo MC

The MC shouldn't be emo straight off from the get-go. Take the anime Magical Girl Site as an example. Asagiri's first line in the anime is, "Every day, all I can think about is dying." Please, if you want to make the reader feel apologetic about the MC and then launch a whole NTR plot, don't do this. Sure, it might make us feel bad because Asagiri is kawaii as fuck, it doesn't help in the long run. Why is she trying if she is suicidal? Why am I writing this if I am suicidal? Why would any rational suicidal person do anything if they are suicidal? You get the idea.

3rd problem: The overly dense MC:

If your MC has "reincarnated 1000000 times since the start of the universe, why the hell is he so dense? If the MC is surrounded by a harem of girls who openly loves him, how the hell does he not fucking realize? Some MCs are so dense they form a black hole and collapse on themselves. This is a problem that I want to get rid of, since I was a huge fan of the Pokemon anime, and fuck Ash.



4th problem: You killed my family, so now I'm suffering from crippling depression and I can still do adventures and whoops I completely forgot my family, or what I call the amnesiac MC

Some stories start with a grim tale of how the MC's family was brutally murdered, and his sister was taken away. Then, this girl shows up and the MC just fucking forgets about all his problems and goes on all these adventures and it's all sunshine and rainbows. DO NOT paint the world rainbow colored when people are fucking committing war crimes. Fuck this shit.

5th problem: The stupid MC:

This one is dangerous and can make a novel horrible. This one cannot be explained without an example. The web novel Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse is stupid. The MC tosses away many things just because "they don't fit my build', and the author did an unsatisfactory job at world building. The MC is literally a god, and the world is fucking stupid. The cost doesn't match their stat boosting items, and some things that are worthless are treated as the greatest abilities. If a rare ability worth millions gives the same boost as cheap stat boosting orbs, why bother? Now, you might be furiously typing "Noooo, what if the top of the leaderboard people use it?" Just buy fucking high tier stat boosting items. Fucking dumb.

There's probably another shit ton of problems, but I'm too lazy to keep writing. Give me your favorite web novels to roast next time. My friend suggested this one. This is a side project for me. Don't expect quality advice.
