RECAP: Luca and Ayala's life were in danger! Thieves ransacked their home and left Ayala unconscious and in a critical condition. The White lotus arrives, and Kelsang arrests the thieves. Luca then triggered his Avatar state when he saw Ayala lying on the floor, but Pama managed to calm her down.
The Southern Air Temple, 14 minutes to Midnight...
Rohan was sleeping in his bed and woke up to get some water. Sometime later, he noticed something different in the temple.
Rohan (Rubbing his eyes): Argh. Yuni forgot to close the lights again. Why do I always have to~?
He sees Korra's statue glow in the dark.
Rohan: Wow. Ikki needs to see this! (Runs away)
The strange sight did not just occur in the air temples. Avatar Korra's statues in different temples glowed in the dark as well. This became the headline of the news in Republic City, and it eventually earned worldwide attention.
Meanwhile, in the White Lotus HQ...
The Home Mover is open inside the headquarters, and Jing is preparing Luca his breakfast. Kelsang is monitoring Ayala's status in the hospital.
Jinai (In the Mover): We had reports from all over the world, which says that Avatar Korra's statue allegedly glowed in the dark. Our fact-checking team is currently checking on such claims. Cabbage Network has already contacted the White Lotus for confirmation, but unfortunately, they don't respond to our messages and calls.
Meanwhile, in other news, the blockbuster movie titled "Varrick Does the Thing" is confirmed to have a sequel. According to Movistar Studios, the sequel will be titled "Varrick Does the Thing Again." The Original Movie has...
Luca (Wakes up): (Yawns) W~ Where... Am I?
Jing (Enters): Oh, you're awake now, Luca.
Luca: Where am I!? Wait... You're that lady from last night... From... W~ Where's Mom?
Jing: Your mom is... in critical condition. B~ But, don't worry, we got her to a hospital, and she is in intensive care right now.
Luca: How about Mister Kelsang?
Jing: He's also there... Wanna visit your mom?
Luca said, 'Yes,' and they were off to the hospital. The guard interrupts the visit and question's Luca's presence.
Guard: Umm, Miss, you might be well aware of our policy, right? We prohibit children aged 10 below to visit the hospital.
Jing: He is an exception. (Shows White Lotus Badge) I'm Jing, The Head Secretary of the White Lotus. Someone's here in this hospital which requires the presence of this child.
Guard: Very well, you may enter, Miss.
Jing and Luca enter the hospital and search for the ICU. Kelsang and Pama were talking about what happened yesterday.
Kelsang: It's quite devastating to see the Avatar's mother in such a critical condition.
Pama: But still, it's history. Luca is the only Avatar in history to trigger the Avatar state at four years old.
Luca sees Pama and Kelsang in the distance. He immediately hugs both of them.
Luca: Mister Kelsang! Miss Waterbending Lady! (Runs and hugs them both)
Pama: Luca! You're finally awake!
Kelsang: Who brought you here?
Jing: I did.
Kelsang: Oh, Jing! Nice to see you both back in shape today.
Luca: So, where's Mom?
Pama: She's inside that room, little kid. We can't come inside, so we have to wait for the doctor to come out.
Kelsang: Oh, here he is.
Everyone was waiting outside the ICU for what the doctor would say. As the doctor steps out of the room, Luca can't wait and asked him what happened immediately.
Luca: Hi, Mister Doctor Sir! Wow, you look hot, umm... yeah, and... HOW'S MY MOM DOING?
Jing: We apologize on behalf of Luca, Doc. He's just too energetic and upbeat.
Doctor: No, It's okay. So, about Ayala... I just want to confirm if the patient does not have any last name?
Luca: We don't have any last name, Mister Doctor Hotman, Sir.
Doctor: I see. Unfortunately, due to this hospital's limitations, there is no light at the end of the tunnel if the patient continues to be admitted here. I recommend her to be moved to a Republic City hospital.
Kelsang: Thank you, doctor.
The doctor then left the corridor, leaving Kelsang, Jing, and Pama behind.
Kelsang: Call on the White Lotus HQ in Republic City, Jing. Tell them to bring a helicopter so that we can bring his mother to a hospital there. This calls for an immediate response.
Jing: Got it, Kelsang~
Luca: May I take the bison, please?
The scene suddenly shifts to him, Kelsang, and Pama being on Kiki, on their way to Republic City. The helicopter bringing Ayala is just a few hundred feet away from them.
Luca: Woohoo! Giant Bison! YEAH!
Pama: I like your energy, kid. But, aren't you worried that your mom... might not make it?
Luca: Worried? Of course, I am! But I'm a happy-go-lucky kid, Miss Waterbender. I'm very sure that everything is going to be just fine! I Just go with the flow!
A brief silence follows...
Luca: I'm becoming like Avatar Kuruk, am I?
Kelsang: You aren't, but you certainly do act like him. But please, my goodness. Don't ever be like him.
Luca: O~ Okay? So, I wanna talk about last night... About that thing where I levitated... and uh... earthbended?
Kelsang: Well, you see, Luca. The purpose of our interview is to find out who the new Avatar is. When I saw you choose the necklace and the watch, I've confirmed that we've found you. We've found the one.
Luca: Wait, Mister. You're telling me that I'm the Avatar!?
Pama: That's more like it, kid. You are the Avatar. Definitive proof: Your eyes became white, which caused the earth beneath you to rumble. Period.
Luca: Woah! That's cool! Sort of...
Kelsang: It will be a hard task, Luca. It's not going to be relaxing by the looks of it.
Luca: So, what should I do?
Pama: Your role is to bring balance to the world, Kid. It's a huge responsibility. That explains our existence. The White Lotus will always be to the Avatar's service if it's for the good of the world.
Kelsang: We will protect you and your mother from any form of harm until you are ready to master all four elements. By the time you do so, you may be allowed to journey on your own.
Luca: Stressful, but cool! I wanna train now!
Kelsang: We have one issue. You're still a child, and we haven't told your mom yet due to her coma. We'll let you be a kid, for now, Luca. Enjoy your time with us, and~
Luca: No! I want to train now! I want to show Mom what I will learn from your guys! How about that robbery last night!? I need to learn earthbending! I don't want that robbery to happen again!
Kelsang: Very well. You have a hesitant soul inside you. You remind me of myself very often.
Pama: Is this your first time in Republic City?
Luca: Yeah! (Looks at the distance) I'm so excited to...
Luca was surprised to see how big Republic City is from a distance.

Luca was so amazed to see how huge the buildings are. Kiki Lands at the top floor of a hospital building along with the helicopter that Ayala is in. Luca, along with Kelsang and Pama, goes down from the bison. The nurses immediately bring Ayala to the ICU.
Kawasaki: Master, Kelsang! Over here!
Kelsang: Oh, Doctor Kawasaki! (Shakes hands)
Kawasaki: It's been months, isn't it?
Kelsang: Yeah, Time flies so fast.
Kawasaki: (Looks at Luca) So, who could this child be?
Pama: That's the patient's son, Doc. She's everything he has, and vice versa.
Kawasaki: And I suppose the fact that you helped his mother was because they are citizens of high priority?
Kelsang: Affirmative. The patient is actually the New Avatar's mother.
Kawasaki: Oh, really!? Well, Mr. Avatar, it's an honor to help your mother. I know, wrong word choice. We assure you, we'll do our best, Kiddo.
Luca: Thank you, Doctor Coolman, sir!
Kawasaki: Oh, and by the way, The media is waiting for you outside the hospital.
Pama & Kelsang: Wait, how did they know...?
Kelsang faces the public and answers the journalists' questions. Luca, who was at the back, watches him.
Newscaster 1: Sir, claims are saying that Korra's statues have been glowing on temples worldwide. Is this true? Is the Avatar found? If so, how did he or she trigger the Avatar State?
Kelsang: Yes, we have found the Avatar, but he never triggered the Avatar State. It looks like the glowing of Avatar' Korra's statues are a little sign that we've found him.
Newscaster 2: Sir, can you give us the details of his or her name? Gender? Physical stature?
Kelsang: Umm... We don't know the name yet, but the child is a boy. The rest is confidential details that only the White Lotus must know.
Luca: Miss Pama, why is he lying to them?
Pama: Well, it's for your own good, Luca. You~
Luca comes outside the hospital door and runs to Kelsang, complaining about why he lied.
Kelsang: L~ Luca!?
Using some gestures, he commanded Luca to come back to the hospital.
Luca: Why are you lying, Mister Kelsang?
What he said turned the interest of the journalists to Luca immediately. The media then asked him questions.
Newscaster 1: It looks like this kid knows something about the Avatar... Hey! What's your full name, kid?
Luca: Huh? Me? My name is Luca!
An awkward silence followed. Kelsang was just watching Luca with his palm on his face.
Luca: What? You can ask me questions now!
Newscaster 2: We're waiting for your full name.
Luca: Umm... Luca... Earthenlilly?
The journalists look at each other for a moment.
Newscaster 3: So, uh, Mr. Earthenlilly, Do you know who the Avatar is?
Luca: Well. I'm the Avatar, and if you are against it, well, You better deal with it.
Newscaster 1: Mr. Earthenlilly, Have you really caused Avatar Korra's statues to glow?
Luca: I have no idea, good sir. But what I remember is that I floated in the air and became so powerful and now I'm homeless and yeah!
The media is confused.
Kelsang (Fake Grinning): That's all, folks! No more questions? 
Newscaster 2: Actually~
Kelsang: Good! Now excuse us. (Leaves with Luca)
Inside the hospital...
Kelsang: I... I can't believe you, Luca! You came out and shared all the details of everything that is supposed to be confidential! I am so...
Luca (Sobbing): S~ Sorry, Mister...
Kelsang: Pama, you talk him out of this. I'm going to space out... (Leaves)
Luca: (Faces Pama) W~ What did I do, Miss?
Pama: You see, Luca, When Avatar Korra was your age, our forefathers thought that it would be an excellent idea to tell the world about her.
Luca: Then?
Pama: We did not know that there are people who have been planning to kidnap Korra after the announcement was made. The Red Lotus. They might be gone for decades now, but there will always be that risk, Luca. Kelsang didn't mean to be mad at you. He was just trying to protect you.
Luca: I see. I made a horrible mistake, Did I?
Pama: Don't worry. We'll find a way to defend you. But now, you really need to learn earthbending, else you'd be defenseless against those who'd try to take you.
Luca: I~ I'll do my best! But where would I train if we don't have a house, though?
Pama: Well, Your earthbending mentor is supposed to be Master Kuvira, so, maybe Kyoshi Island is the best place. She lives there.
Luca (Shocked): Kyoshi Island!? Woohoo! I'm so excited!
Pama (Grinning): You are always excited about everything, kid.
Luca: Kyoshi Island, here we come!

With a snap, I'm inside a new world. Something far beyond what previous Virtual Consoles can do, it can perfectly track feeling and other such details,  even smell... and I can tell due to my... new smell.

    I no longer spell like dirt and mud but instead I smell like a mixture of battery acid and lavender, I can feel my hands grate against leather gloves and I feel metal strapped to my chest.

            I'm in my old avatar, to be honest its a little nostalgic... just a little. So I begin walking around the giant bustle of... people. There is just people here for now, only later can I assume many different structures will be here. So I wander around, it's quite a lovely place to be honest... it feels like the perfect temperature and I don't work up a sweat even running top speed for a while.

    Eventually a computerized voice game me some instruction, open a menu... pick a game... whatever. I'm more interested in the HUB right now.

      After exploring for a little bit, it seems that there are slot like areas to enter games. Much like an Arcade machine but you are the coin. You see previews and other such things outside, and you can even see some things happening inside!

          Very cool indeed, they managed to get the Hub slightly connected to the games themselves, that surely would improve connections while in game... more servers to pull Data from.

    They think its OK to just have it here? That game killed hundreds, if not thousands! I'm lucky I logged out in time... I have no clue how painful it would of been to die in something you spent hours in, it would feel like a betrayal.

            I guess I gotta try the sequel at least.

    That's probably why they have me here, one of the few who experienced Pathological... but they don't know I wasn't actually in there during the incident. Well, it doesn't matter... What are they going to do? Scan my brain? Unlikely.


      After being pulled in by a wormhole like slot, I'm eventually taken to a menu screen... Load old Character or create new, of course... I'm going to load my old one.

          Without further ado from that point, I'm sent back into the world of Pathological. It was funny, many shows and books depict VR games somehow killing their players... when the first VR MMO came out everyone was joking about it, then it actually happened. ' Die in the game, Die in real life ' Many said... ironically they did.

  That was long before the whole ordeal with... everything. It all started with a some dumbass overdosing on 'Josephine '... whatever that is, I never seen it. Then one thing after another the world fell apart. Then it got political, then internationally politically... then War. What's stopping world powers from commiting war crimes... just a flimsy sheet of paper.



    Well, this will make a good escape from it all... no politics in VR games, that's agreed upon by everyone, except politicians of course but then again, who cares about what they say. This is our exclusive club from the world, all people of all nationalities all enjoying games together.
  I mean it when I say ALL nationalities, I see many people with Chinese user names, some people from Korea, some from all over the place... even places were at war with, I can tell because keyboards are always in the language you speak... so names always appear in native languages of a person.   I see everyone while inside pathological, how this small company has influence all around the world is pretty crazy... but that makes me what to put my trust in them, they don't care about where people come from.

I blinked as I came awake, my mind groggy, but something clear, someone had killed me last night, or at least made my physical form die for the first time… or second time… it's a confusing subject. "Huh?" I muttered, rubbing his eyes. 





















As I tried to gather my thoughts, a strong headache attacked me, this whole reforming business was not to my liking at all.























How did I die though… it sounds like something I should remember… but all I remember is that like usual I was getting my ass kicked by Thor and Sun Wukong, and then… "The fuck happened," I muttered as in pain my hand clutched at my chest.



















"Kid," Sun Wukong greeted startling me, from a simple glance I could tell he had a new scar running down his chest to his right knee, "You gave me a scare last night," the monkey king sighed, rubbing his temples, "Sorry for killing ya," 




















"I would say I am angry… but, I don't remember shit," I replied, "Why did you kill me though?"



















"Well… I think it's in part my fault, I decided to try and see how far I could push your buttons… one thing led to another… and you snapped," Sun Wukong sighed, "For a brief moment, you… it doesn't matter," it doesn't matter, what in the fuck does he mean by it doesn't matter?!




















"Hold your ass! Of course it matters!" I roared, one thing was that I didn't harbor any hard feelings towards him, but hiding crucial information for me, was an ass move!



















"Kid, I underestimated how strong the monster of your father is," Sun Wukong sighed.

















My father… please don't tell me he's inside me cause if he is I will kill h…. that bastard… "Please tell me he didn't pull a cliche move by controlling my body…" at this point I wasn't even interested in knowing who he was, right now… I wanted to know if the control of my body was compromised.


















"No," Thor answered before Sun Wukong had the chance as he entered my room… wait since when do I have a room here… back to the point Adam, "But, he proved just how much he wants you to live, he made some kind of magic thingy to stop anyone from killing you… apparently Sun Wukong got too close to the activation point of the spell, and well… here we are," taking a closer look to Thor, I noticed he also had new bloody scars on his body.



















"That… that still doesn't answer what in the fuck happened, why do you two have new scars… did I do that?" I asked, why couldn't a fucking god be straightforward, like.. is being confusing a fucking requirement?!




















"Well, yes but no…" Sun Wukong hummed, "According to Buddha, the spell was made to create an avatar from your power to defend you… the avatar had much more power than I anticipated…" the monkey king admitted, "So… I was forced to kill you while Thor stalled the monster that spell created, it was the only way to stop the avatar from leveling Brazil,"




















"That… doesn't make any sense!" Where was the equivalent exchange in that?! "How can an avatar made from my power be strong enough to fight and hurt you two, when I get my ass kicked everyday?!" How could something made from me… be stronger than me… it made no fucking logical sense.



















"Kid… like I told you, you are barely using your power like you should… the avatar didn't have that problem, granted the avatar was only using two thirds of your full power… which is why the battle didn't escalate from our scars," Sun Wukong chuckled, "It caught us by surprise,"





















Did I really have that much power? "So… is the spell gone?" 




















"Yeah… no," Thor sighed, "Buddha said only you or… that bastard can remove it, but for you to do that you would have to learn better control of your power, so back to square one," 



















Did I want to remove the spell though? So far it seemed exclusively beneficial, a spell to help me avoid certain death… but then again… something was off, where was that shit when I almost died on Tartarus, or during the sirens quest? 



















"Alright… but let's make one thing clear… nobody will tell Hestia I died," I shuddered by just imagining her rage… if I told her I did the one thing I promised her I wouldn't do…




















"Agreed," Thor nodded all too quickly, "She almost burned me alive because she thought I left you to face Jörmungandr alone as if I would do such a thing!," he shuddered, "How can someone so adorable be so scary is beyond me…"



















"I don't know her that well, but I have learned over my long life… it's best not to provoke the rage of a woman," Sun Wukong chuckled nervously, "After all, it's like they say… Hell hath no fury like a woman rage,"



















That… is not how it goes, but close enough, "Good, now… let's try to speed my training up,"


















"I have just the thing," Sun Wukong grinned, "It should increase the rate you improve exponentially," then why… WHY didn't he start with whatever that was?!
















"I swear to me monkey… if that method you are just bringing now up is as effective as you are selling it to be… I will kill you," Thor growled.


















"First of all, I didn't bring it up because I didn't think the kid was… well, quite there yet, and second… monkey? That's hurtful, I'm a king, so at least address me as such if you have to call me monkey," Sun Wukong chuckled, as Thor tried to smash him with Mjolnir.


























As I eyed the two, I couldn't help but feel… a bit worried about my father and his involvement with my life, I just didn't buy the part he put that spell there to protect me… otherwise I would've found about it sooner, a looooot sooner. I almost died in Tartarus alone hundreds of times, just what kind of pawn was I… in the great scheme of things?



















I suppose… in the end, it doesn't matter, because I won't play whatever game he's playing.

One moment I was dying on a really uncomfortable hospital bed and the next... well, I’m alive... though this time, I'm not even human anymore... but who cares.

The second announcement I have to make is the KFP Side Story! The KFP Side Story will be known as ROBEL. Brianna Edhas, the once dead sixth mask is now alive again, her soul brought back to the land of the living when Shade extracted her from the underworld. Now alive and no clue on where to go next, she starts looking for jobs. After seeing the success of KFP, Yukoku Roberu decides to hire an employee of his own. What a coincidence that Brianna was looking for a job as well! Read along as Brianna comes to terms with her new life and job under Roberu. Hello readers! It's me, Ate Janz, bringing you another fantasy story to read. So before proceeding to read the entire story, I want to emphasize about its plot, characters, world and time setting, spells and update schedule.
First of all, the plot of the story was taken from one plot suggestion given by Web Novel in its annual Spirity Awards where I also joined, under fantasy category... wherein it asked us to create a story with FL pretending to be a guy just to learn magic in a magic academy since boys are the only ones allowed to learn magic.
So instead of completely following that, I added the random plot that I was thinking for days now with a little help from my all-time fave animated show Avatar: The Last Airbender. Remember back in the Northern Water tribe where girls are only taught waterbending for healing only? That's one of my inspirations for this story.
And this is not connected to my first story The Witch Hunt. Although they have the same kingdom name, since I'm too lazy to think of any kingdom names, they are completely different stories. Not a sequel at all.

Instructor Kora walked between the mats of the Academy martial arts gym.  Her signature spiked hair hadn't changed since her Exodus days.  Her avatar was quite striking, a pale blonde woman with incredible flexibility and whipcord like strength.  QJ sat on one of the mats by himself ready to assist.  His father had been in this position for about ten years before Kora had run him off.  Q's popularity was so high in the Academy, that his presence had become a distraction.  Quinn had gladly stepped down, but he pushed Kora into having QJ replace him.  

Kora nudged an unconscious student.  "Lexa!!  You were choked out by a triangle again?  Lean toward the weak side, snake your arm in at the knee joint and place your hand on the side of your head.  They can squeeze all day and it wouldn't bother you.  She motioned toward QJ to approach.  

"Watch QJ carefully."  Kora put her arm on the teen's shoulder when he arrived and lowered her voice.  "Peni doesn't ease up when her opponent taps, teach her a lesson."  

They started in the triangle position, QJ let her lock it in tight.  He felt the blood being constricted to his head but he didn't panic. He rotated his body to the right and then reversed direction and slammed Peni's hip on the mat, the sudden impact created the space for QJ to snake his arm between his neck and her knee joint.  

"Watch Lexa!  Do you see?  She knew what he was going to do, but she still couldn't defend it."   Kora had to bite her lip to keep the smile off her face, she had taught QJ since he was a toddler, he was a grapplers nightmare.  

He powered the rest of his arm through and then rotated toward the lock, the hold broke immediately.  QJ kept his hold on the knee and then postured up for top control, when she used her hand to try and push his head down he grabbed the wrist instead and rolled into an armbar. "Now defend Peni!"  Kora didn't bother to hide her smile this time, it was a slick transition.  QJ deliberately rolled so that Peni's free hand was pinned.  It was a move she had been using on her classmates so they couldn't tap, she liked to choke people out.  

QJ released the hold when she went limp, he rolled quickly to his feet as Kora bent to sit her student up.

Lexa bowed low, "please take care of me QJ."  

QJ smiled pleasantly, "no worries, we will strengthen your grappling techniques."

Instructor Talia watched the scores from each lane.  "Jones you are hitting eighty percent, that's really good but I feel like you have a bit more."  

Shoni Jones blushed at the compliment, she had taken the class as an elective and hadn't known anything about gun safety or shooting.  "Okay Instructor Riley."  

Talia motioned for the range assistant to give Jones a hand.  She smiled as her son nodded and walked toward lane seventeen.  She had been teaching QJ gun safety and how to shoot properly since he was old enough to hold a rifle in both TAP and irl.    

"Hey Jonesie, would you mind shooting a few targets so I can watch you?"  QJ knelt beside the young woman.  

"Sure QJ!"  It was generally accepted by her Academy classmates that QJ would be the perfect boyfriend... if only he was a few years older.  

QJ watched her shoot off a few rounds, "hmm.. I like what I see Jonesie."  He took out a coin from his pocket and balanced it on the end of the rifle barrel. "Unload now, no rounds this time, dry fire only."  

She pulled the trigger and the coin fell off, QJ stopped her and had her try again.  "You are jerking the trigger instead of squeezing I think.  The coin shouldn't fall off when you dry fire."    

"Thanks, QJ," she tried a few more times and started to get the hang of it.  She sighed heavily as he walked away.  "Damn those blue eyes of yours."  

The two girls in the lane next to her both laughed at the comment.

Quinn scowled menacingly."Pfft... this is it, son.  I'm so tired of those good looks, the sky blue eyes, and the super brain."

Ren smiled at her two favorite men.  "QJ, don't play Battleship with glasses on.  Your dad can see the pieces reflected in the lenses."  

QJ crossed his arms in front of him and scowled at his dad, "oh I see... you are cheating your only son!"  

Quinn threw a gray battleship at Ren, it passed through her since it was her virtual avatar, "you turncoat!"

She walked over and mimicked kissing the older Quinn on the cheek.  "QJ can see your ships from the reflection on the fridge HUD screen."  

Quinn shot his son a disgusted look, "come to challenge the older generation with sneaky tricks?"  

"Ren!  Gutted by my big sister..."  QJ made a run for the stairs, he was tackled onto the carpet by his dad.  Ren laughed as the two wrestled on the floor.  "Mom's coming!!"

Both men stopped what they were doing and quickly assumed sitting positions on the couch while looking up the stairs.  After a minute they both stared at Ren who gave them an innocent look.

"Hey... I thought I heard mom," she smirked at the pair, "Robin says hello QJ."  Ren waved as she logged back into Exodus and disappeared.  

Quinn threw an arm around his son's shoulder, "so... Robin pretty much says hi every time Ren comes to the house."  

QJ pursed his lips, "yeah... she's a bit older, nothing wrong with that though."

*Ravenwood Stables* QJ: 19 years old

QJ sat on the top rail of the corral watching as Jacob rubbed down one of the workhorses.  Jacob's long curly hair fell into his face as he worked.  "Aren't you bored watched me QJ?"  

QJ shook his head, "wanna go watch the horse races at Bizzaro's when you get done?"  

Jacob's face broke into a sly grin as he wiped his forehead with the back of his sleeve, "can you get some of the Silverleaf girls to go with us?" 

QJ gave him a depressed look, "last time I went over there, they wouldn't let me leave."  

"Should I feel sorry for you?  I want your life!"  Jacob laughed at his friend.  

Qj nodded reluctantly, "I"ll set it up, hey how's Old Mo doing?" Mo was the Stablemaster in Talon, he was also Jacob's Grandfather.  

"Same as always.  I'll get cleaned up and meet you at the Songbird later."

QJ walked out of his room and into the kitchen.  He had taken over Ren's room when she had moved in with Em next door.  

"Hey hun, lunch will be ready in a bit, want something to eat?" Tal had an engineering book out and was paging through it, unlike the rest of the world, she still used real books.  

"No thanks, I already ate."  QJ took the chair next to hers and activated the table hud.  

Tal's pretty blue eyes were sympathetic, "still can't find it?"  

QJ shook his head, the resemblance to his father was uncanny.  "Does dad really know?"  

Tal nodded, "he knows."    

In order for a horse to race in Exodus, it had to be in compliance with the rules.  Super horses weren't allowed, each horse had to be based on a real horse, an exact match right down to the digital DNA. Quinn had promised his son that he'd give him Scorch to take to the Exodus Academy if he could figure out who he was based on.  

"There just aren't any big red stallions in the past 50 years that were anything special."  

Tal glanced casually toward the upstairs bedroom, "go back a bit further hun."  

"Further?  Oh god... I don't want some caveman's horse.  Is Scorch even fast?"  QJ gave his mom a quick kiss on the cheek and then walked back toward his room.  

Tal's lips curved in a smile as she watched him leave, "oh, he's fast hun." 

Quinn slid down the railing and skidded across the floor.  He looked up at his wife who was shaking her head.  "Not my best effort."  

Anna trotted down the stairs behind him, her short black hair was sticking straight up.  She had returned really late from a trip to see her family and had been gone for three weeks.  She hugged Quinn from behind.  "Did you miss me?"  

Quinn shot Tal a deadpan look, "did Nanna go somewhere?"  

"Attack!"  Anna jumped on Quinn's back, causing Tal to laugh from the island.

"After the third day, he started asking, "When's Nanna coming back?"  Tal ignored the frown that Quinn gave her.  

"You did?"  Anna mumbled against his back.  She happily accepted a ride to the island and then jumped down.  "I missed you guys too!"

Anna helped Tal with lunch while Quinn poured them ice tea.  The three of them sat down together.

Quinn glanced at QJ's room, "QJ not eating?"  

Tal shook her head as they joined hands, "he already ate."  

"Thank you for the meal."  

"And God bless Quinn,"  Tal added softly.

This is a Sequel if you didn't read Exodus: The Assassin's Path, you will certainly be lost.

This is the second story in the Exodus series.  QJ takes over as the MC.  In order to prove he's ready to take on Gun & Gore, QJ agrees to attend the Exodus Academy.  Plenty of laughs, romance and of course action to come.  

While the foreword and first chapter have already been in a rough draft, the plot is still being developed.  Regular daily releases should start next month sometime.

The Great Void Holy Pavilion could help Kuang Heng and the Xuan Lin Holy Man resist the Power-Destroying Catastrophe, but the Two Elements of Creation Formation was a magic formation and it wasn’t possible for it to defend Lin Feng against the Power-Destroying Catastrophe.
The Zheng Yi Holy Man stared at Lin Feng as the rolling purple energy continued to permeate throughout the entire Small Divine Lands World and his brows furrowed ever so tightly.
For him, using the Power-Destroying Catastrophe wasn’t optimal as the Great Void Sect didn’t have a gate to the Starry Sea of their own. They lacked reinforcements, and if they were plagued by the Decay Tribulations, the subsequent circumstances would be even more difficult to control.
If channeling the Power-Destroying Catastrophe was effective, the Zheng Yi Holy Man wouldn’t hesitate at all.
Still, there were some doubts in his heart as Lin Feng’s Celestial Sect Teleportation Technique was very well known in the world by now.
He wasn’t sure whether both of Lin Feng’s avatars were able to cast this spell. If both the Thunder Dragon Avatar and the Avatar of Ares were adept with this spell, then there would no longer be any meaning in channeling the Power-Destroying Catastrophe as he would only weaken himself.
Furthermore, the most important point was that Lin Feng controlled a gate to the Starry Sea and his original body could come in at any time.
The Zheng Yi Holy Man didn’t know the reason why Lin Feng’s original body wouldn’t enter the Starry Sea but he could guess that it was probably because he was busy with something else, or temporarily held back by a pressing issue.
Forcing Lin Feng’s original body into the Starry Sea could possibly disrupt whatever he was working on, but this wasn’t anything of value to the people from the Great Void Sect and was a purely sadistic move with no practical benefit.
Even though thinking about these realities generated despondence in people’s hearts, the Zheng Yi Holy Man wasn’t afraid of facing them.
Before this, the contest for the Crucible of the Divine Lands was in suspense mainly because Lin Feng’s original body wasn’t here.
If Lin Feng’s original body was inside the Starry Sea, and under the circumstance that the other elders of the Great Void Sect were unable to provide reinforcements, there would be no competition at all for the control of the Crucible of the Divine Lands.
Even if they dragged the Supreme Heavenly Mirror into the Starry Sea, it would be affected by the dimensional powers and its power would be greatly reduced and could even prolong the time it needed to fully recover.
In the end, the best outcome that could be achieved by the Great Void Sect was that they could possibly force Lin Feng to break the seal he placed on the Heaven-Destroying Sword, and even then, their chances were slim.
Everything were purely actions that harmed others without benefiting themselves. More accurately put, they were actually harming themselves at the same time in the process – if Lin Feng was forced to remove the seal on the Heaven-Destroying Sword prematurely, it wouldn’t return empty-handed.
Right now, both parties were contesting for the Crucible of the Divine Lands. While the magic item was still without an owner and the contest relied purely on their own abilities as well as any opportunities that would surface in the process, and ab it of luck.
However, anything that was taken too far would lead to a real violent conflict between the two parties, and would change the situation in the Starry Sea into a showdown to the death.
The Zheng Yi Holy Man was never one to shy away from a fight, but he was concerned about the results of any battle.
At this point, the power of the two parties couldn’t even be compared on the same scale anymore. If Lin Feng was willing, he could even drag the entire Celestial Sect of Wonders from the Divine Lands into the Ancient Desolate Galaxy.
The knot in the eyebrows of the Zheng Yi Holy Man gradually loosened and the sparkle in his lies died down as well. His expression returned to normal, but his eyes were gloomier and sterner.
"The Heaven-Destroying Sword…" Even though his heart was calm, this thought still recurred in the mind of the Zheng Yi Holy Man.
Over five thousand years ago in the Greater World, ever since his escape from the Spirit Sea, the Zheng Yi Holy Man had considered teaming up with the Qing Yi Holy Woman, the Xuan Yi Holy Man and even the Tai Yi Holy Man to suppress and control Lin Feng and the Celestial Sect of Wonders.
However, Lin Feng’s powers skyrocketed and the battle of Mount Shu and the Saintly Celestial Cataclysm completed the Heaven-Destroying Sword.
The final outcome was that they no longer had the power to do anything much.
"If the Crucible of the Divine Lands ends up in the hands of the Celestial Sect of Wonders, the situation will take a turn for the worse and it will confirm Junior Qing Yi’s words – we should have pushed forward the original plan." The Zheng Yi Holy Man continued to contemplate.
Ideas were floating around in his head but his movement wasn’t hindered at all. He dispelled the notion of using the Power-Destroying Catastrophe, and simply relied on his own spells and mana to raise the power of the Shen Heaven Holy Paradise in juxtaposition with the Great Void Holy Paradise formed by the Great Void Holy Pavilion.
"This spell that he’s using against a human magic treasure seems to be more effective than it is against demons… This spell deserves to be emphasized. Besides the hidden profundities and its sophistication, its workings seem to specifically target the Great Void Holy Pavilion. It feels like this spell intends to separate the Great Void Holy Pavilion back into the Formation-Bursting Drum and the Void Yin-Yang Bell."
The Zheng Yi Holy Man’s face remained expressionless as his hands continued to apply force. While he was stabilizing the Great Void Holy Pavilion, he attempted to break open Lin Feng’s Two Elements Origins-Returning Mystic World Spell at the same time with mystical spells of his own. He dragged the Great Void Holy Pavilion, stepped out and explosively repelled the light rays from the Two Elements of Creation Formation.
"I need to end this battle fast," The Zheng Yi Holy Man thought to himself as blurry rays of light were released from his body. They were translucent and phased between reality and the virtual world.
These rays of light weren’t that bright and neither were they vast or intimidating. However, their profundities and their mystical qualities were inexplicable, as if they could accomplish anything.
Inside the Small Divine Lands World, the purple energies had completely suppressed the white energies.
The Zheng Yi Holy Man remained expressionless as he latched his other hand onto the Small Divine Lands World. However, the inner regions of the Small Divine Lands World shuddered.
A small area of the small world receded and reverted to the original form of the Crucible of the Divine Lands.
"Boom!" A loud bang could be heard from the top of the Crucible’s body as ripples that were clear to the naked eye expanded outward in all directions.
The Xuan Lin Holy Man, the Cang Heaven Spell Blade and Wang Lin’s Great Satanic Avatar were on the outside and their expressions grew serious as they witnessed these ripples and raised their guards at the same time.
Both Lin Feng and the Zheng Yi Holy Man stared at the Crucible of the Divine Lands as they could very clearly feel that there was a great willpower rising out from the Crucible of the Divine Lands.
It wasn’t something material, yet it wasn’t completely abstract and intangible as well. It had an existence where people just knew it was there. At the same time, the vastness and strength of its existence could not be underestimated.
The Zheng Yi Holy Man suddenly felt a quiver in the hand that he had on the Crucible of the Divine Lands.
It was obvious that the Crucible of the Divine Lands was subtly rejecting him. While this rejection wasn’t that strong, it was fairly conspicuous and didn’t give anybody any reasonable doubt.
In the next moment, another scene appeared in the minds of both Lin Feng and the Zheng Yi Holy Man.
An individual clad in a dragon robe stood between heaven and earth. He had a royal crown on his head, but his features were unclear.
This wasn’t the original soul of the Crucible, but the powerful cultivator that forged it all those years ago, Emperor Xia.
Emperor Xia was watching the far end of the horizon, where a battle raged and rippled.
A few nascent soul stage cultivators besieged and killed a demonic lord stage demon, and were quickly hunted down and killed in return by a great demon in the undying demonic soul stage.
In the next moment, this undying demon soul stage demon was intercepted by a powerful human cultivator in the immortal soul stage and both parties were currently engaged in a bloody battle.
In the end, the human cultivator prevailed by virtue of his talents and even though he sustained heavy injuries, he managed to defeat and kill his opponent.
The only thing was, before he could enjoy the fruits of his victory and before he could think about retreating and treating his injuries elsewhere, a roaring and charging Fengxi, whose body flared with purple-blue demonic fire, lunged towards him and instantly shattered his immortal soul!
All this happened at practically the same time as a third-level immortal soul stage cultivator descended from the sky and knocked over the flaming boar. The giant physical body of the pig rolled through the skies and turned the immediate area into an ocean of fire.
Lin Feng and the Zheng Yi Holy Man squinted a little as they witnessed this powerful physical cultivator.
This was the same cultivator that they saw previously in the light shadows projected by the Crucible off the Divine Lands, the powerful physical cultivator from the Great Spirit Sect of the Antiquity Age.
He stepped forward toward the Fengxi, but another Heavenly Demon Ape pounced toward him.
Lin Feng watched on. "This was the sequel to the set of images presented to us previously."
He turned toward Emperor Xia. Emperor Xia was observing the battle in the distance, and in the end the Heavenly Demon Ape and the Great Spirit Sect cultivator would engage in epic battle while the Bastille Black Dragon and the great Buddhist cultivator would lock horns, and eventually Emperor Xia would arrive to trap and incinerate both great demons.
However, perhaps it was because there wasn’t any attempt to mask his injuries, Lin Feng could faintly feel a tinge of weakness and frailty coming from Emperor Xia who was still hidden from sight.
Even though the aura around his body was stable and there wasn’t a single loophole to be seen, both Lin Feng and the Zheng Yi Holy Man could clearly feel that Emperor Xia had already been injured by someone.
Emperor Xia stood in the void in silence for a long time before he heaved a long and drawn-out sigh that was unknown to everyone but Emperor Xia himself and the Crucible of the Divine Lands.
Lin Feng and the Zheng Yi Holy Man were able to understand what Emperor Xia was distressed about through the projections from the Crucible of the Divine Lands.
"Never-ending retribution, and nobody knows who’s right and who’s wrong. If I have something to lose, then I will never escape this vicious cycle."


Lin Feng travelled through worlds and even obtained an overpowered system, but he still faces a pressure as huge as a mountain.
