Ashton was hurriedly flicking the pages in a Justice League comic. Focusing on the color combination as he went on.
"Ashton, take over the counter." His eyes flew up from the comic, as Katie -his boss- talked to him.
"Yes, boss." Katie's eyes stared intensely at him, making Ashton laugh in response. "What I know you LOVE, being called boss." 
"Just, take over here. I have to leave for a bit, I'll be back before closing." Ashton nodded as he arrived, placing himself behind the counter. Taking in the view of the tiny little store.
Katie left Ashton all alone, to watch over her comic book store. It was tiny, but comfy. Couches, blankets and pillows spread around between the shelfs. Making it look like a    Safe Haven for Nerds. 
The little shop, named after a musical, with only one word being exchanged. Little shop of horrors, became Little shop of Comics.
Ashton looked around in the store, the best he could, from behind the counter. Making sure that no one was there and then he picked up the comic again. Analyzing the color combinations, trying to understand what each and every color meant; What purpose it has in the story, for the characters. 
He himself was in love with colors. Drawing and creating characters. Matching colors to personality and moods. 
Color coding clothes, each color has its own meaning and mood. It was something he did, everyday. Only Tony and Mary have been told how to decode the clothing. Because of this, he didn't have to talk, when he saw it as unnecessary.
It made Ashton less anxious and his friends less worried.
"Red is courage, there is no question about that." He mumbled, seeing Wonder Woman and Superman standing beside each other. Focusing on the comic, mumbling to himself. He didn't realize that the little doorbell had rang and a customer had walked in.
"You work here?" A dark voice asked him, from in between the shelfs. Ashton closed the comic in one swift move.
"Yes, need any help?" 
"Both yes and no. I just heard you mumbling stuff. Like red, blue, black." The customer walked up to the counter, making it easier for Ashton to see his features.
Ashton stood in silence, not sure what to respond. 
"I just wondered, uhm, what it was about?" The guy continued.
"Different colors have different meanings, in different situations and character design." Ashton blurted out as an answer. Not used to small talk with customers.
"You sound a bit like my brother. But he talks about words, instead of colors." The other boy laughed for himself, making a confused look appear on Ashton's face.
"Are you searching for something special?" He asked, breaking the silence that had taken over when the customer had stopped laughing. 
"No, I was just curious about this place. I have seen it many times and have always wanted to walk in. But never had the time." The customer looked around, nodding for himself when he saw the couches and small tables. "Do you need to buy something or is it possible to just hang out here? Doing homework?"
"No one has ever asked that, but yes it is. My friend group comes here sometimes to study and hang out."
"Good. Me and my brother need a place away from home." The other boy said, sighing deeply.
"Sure, give me your name and I'll tell my boss about you two. So she's aware that you two will be hanging around." Ashton swept his hand under the counter, quickly picking up a stack of post-it notes and a pencil.
"My name is Cole." Ashton nodded and wrote down the name.
"Cool, well I'll see you another time."

After Katie had returned and they had closed the shop, Ashton had taken the bus who stopped closest to his home. He still had to walk two miles, but he didn't have anything against it.
He didn't like spending time at home. 
'But who would like spending time in a caravan, located in a caravan park, obviously. With their deadbeat dad?'
'As I thought, no one.' He sighed with relief when he didn��t hear his father inside. 'He is not home, thank god.'
Ashton took out the small key, from his black skinny jeans and unlocked the small door belonging to the caravan.
When he stepped inside, he dropped everything he had been holding. Picking out his phone, as he felt it buzzing in his pants.

We give our all to everyone around us, believing that if we make them happy, we too will become happy.
It is not that easy and Ashton has been stuck in that realization for awhile now, not wanting to believe that life could be so cruel.

We fight to be seen and acknowledged by the ones we care about. But is it really worth it, when you give your all and it's still not enough. Corey is conflicted, fighting with his own brain, not knowing if he should take a step back or keep going.

Both of them need a break, someone that will listen and comfort them, without making a fuss.

When we are sit for dinner i looks that riko looks me and than remove her steared on me

After some time when i am in my room she comes for sleep and i have two blankets and pillows i give one of them to her and we both are sleep.. 😴😴
At middle of night time i dont know how but my sleep was gone i was stand up and come down in kitchen for drink water and than again come to room and layed on blanket but my sleep was gone and i think about her i look her she sleeps near of me.. 
I again wanna kiss her i was go closed to her i was very closed now and i put my lips down on her face but again i thought if i will do that than she gone from hear and i change my mood and again layed on blanket 😅and i was sleep..😴
On next morning when i wake up i look her father was ready to go and they sit in there car...🚗 And she say bye to them... After some time i was go to take a bath and come for breakfast i am allready late for college and my exams are near so i am busy that day .. hence i get ready fast  n'd gone to college at the end of college when class ends my friends asked me  let's go to drink juice🍻 every one get there choice i choose coca cola  after drinking juice i again come back to home and again press door bell and like i  think riko open the door i look she are wearing yellow dress and pink aprine on it ...wow i dont explain how was she look at that time ...😳😳😍😍
i go in to the room and she are also come into the room and she come near me and her hands having video games and then we play games and finally the dinner was ready i allredy forget about yesturday...

In the main hall of the airport, there was a young mother who'd brought her three-year-old son to handle the immigration documents. The small boy held a small ball in his hands. He played around with it, he bounced it a few times, and the ball rolled away.
"Eh, my ball!" The small boy turned around, and he ran after the ball immediately.
As he noticed the small ball roll further and further away from him, it headed in the direction of the exits, and at this moment, a pair of crystal stilettos appeared in his line of vision, and a small, fair hand was stretched out. His ball was handed back to him.
The small boy immediately stepped forward. "Older Sister, thank you for picking my ball up."

Yin Shuiling rented a small condo in a tiny estate. The unit was not big, 60 sq metres, and it had one bedroom, kitchen, living room, and toilet. Still, it was enough for her.
The condominium unit was clean and neat and did not need her to tidy it up. She walked into the room and removed the covers that were placed on the bed, and she exchanged them for the pink shade that she loved the most. She then went over to the washroom to place her daily essentials before placing a handmade Hello Kitty small doll on the head of the bed. She patted her hands and finished everything she wanted to complete.
She took a bath, and she put on a black spaghetti strap shirt and jean shorts as she walked out. She used a dry towel to wipe her short hair, and she opened the thin notebook that was placed on the desk.
She opened her QQ messaging app, and a notification rang out.
It was from her editor of the comic book publisher, Pudding.
In the past three years, she'd entered the comic drawing world, and she had already published many sets of comic book series. This collection was in the third edition, and the sales were doing extremely well.
Pudding sent a message. Rubus Coronarius, are you back in the country now?
Yin Shuiling sat down on the chair, and used her fair hands to type on the keyboard — I am back.
—Take some time out tomorrow to come down to the headquarters. Your third comic book draft is already confirmed. It is awaiting your approval now.
—Okay, tomorrow afternoon then. I have to report to school tomorrow morning.
—Okay, Rubus Coronarius, then you should rest early today, bye bye.

Yin Shuiling nodded her head and said, "Sure…" She became silent for two seconds, then she asked, "Has Ning Qing been doing well recently?"
"She is good.. Ning Qing has already shot to fame in the entertainment industry. She has turned into the newly crowned Best Actress. I heard that Ning Qing is even dating Young Master Lu, who is extremely powerful in the world of elites. There are so many women that are jealous and would hate on her."

Bang! The documents in Yin Shuiling's hands fell onto the floor.

Look at the both of you; you don't even know how to pretend even if you wanted to. The boyfriend that you worked so hard to chase after became soulless after getting enchanted with me. Tsk tsk, both of you are such failures at being women."
"You…" Both girls were so angry that they were about to vomit blood.
"Oh, I can understand the both of you. This pair of shoes, just by placing it there, there are no men who are willing to ruin it. You are jealous and hateful, right?" 


Trying to drown her sorrow with alcohol after her boyfriend hooked up with her sister, Ning Qing ran into the rich and powerful Lu Shaoming in a bar. "I need a wife," Lu said, and the two got their marriage license. 

Soon, she who became a pop star won many pretty boys’ hearts. Singlehandedly, he got rid of all her potential flings and acted innocent. Ning Qing bristled, “Lu Shaoming, what happened to staying out of each other's private life which we talked about?” Turning the light out, he came over her and whispered, "Now our priority is to make a baby."


Valentine's Day special

"You know what day it is tomorrow, huh?" Parker asked Skylar. They were playing Super Smash Bros at Parker's house and Skylar has already won three times. 

"Uh, Thursday?" Skylar asked, trying his best to finish Parker. 

Parker rolled his eyes. "It's Valentine's Day tomorrow." 

Skylar glanced at him. "And?"

"Didn't Ashton ask you out?"

"Didn't Miracle ask you out?" He bit back. 

Parker pursed his lips. "Touche." Skylar did his last move and killed Parker. A smug smirk spread across Skylar's lips as Parker yelled into his pillow. "How?!"

"I'm just a natural." Skylar didn't tell him that he bought the switch and the game himself to train because he got his ass beat every time they played. Parker continued to play the game as Skylar watched him with a dull expression. Skylar's phone chimed. He grabbed his phone and saw a text from Ashton.

Ace: what are your plans for tomorrow?

Skylar: I don't have any plans

Ace: do you wanna go out tomorrow?

Skylar: depends on what we're doing 

Ace: it's a surprise ;)

Skylar's eyebrows knitted together and he tapped on Parker's shoulder. 

Parker paused the game and Skylar shoved his phone in his face. Parker read the texts. "Ask him if food is involved."

Skylar: is there food involved?

Ace: yes

"He said yes," Skylar answered. 

"Then say yes," Parker said as he continued the game.

Skylar: okay then 

"Do you think you'll get laid tomorrow?" Parker asked, his eyes not leaving the TV. Skylar hit the top of his head. "Ouch!"

"I could if I want to," Skylar replied. 

He paused the game and he turned to Skylar as a mischievous grin spread on his face. "Do you want to?" Parker wiggled his eyebrows. Skylar tried to hide his blushing cheeks with his hands as Parker laughed. 

The next day

Skylar and Parker were walking to their lockers as they were talking about what their plans are for today. Many people around them were talking about their plans for today as well. Girls were gushing to their friends about how a guy asked them out or how they got things. Guys were bragging about the things they got or how they were getting laid tonight. And the ones that didn't get anything were grumbling about how stupid Valentine's Day was. Even Parker manned up and asked Miracle out. 

"You really are a geek," Skylar moaned. "Why did you ask her to go to the comic book store?"

"I panicked," he cried. "But she said yes." They both stopped when they saw Ashton waiting there with a bouquet of roses. They were yellow with red tips. When Ashton saw Skylar, his smile was brighter than the sun.

"S-so bright," Skylar whispered.

"Damn, his smile is brighter than my future," Parker half-joked. Skylar nervously walked up to Ashton and Ashton held the roses out, his smile not faltering. Everyone in the hall was watching their interaction. Many girls were glaring at Skylar, wanting to be in his position.

"For you, Cherry," he smiled. Skylar averted his eyes as a blush crept onto his cheeks. He regretted putting his hair in a ponytail today. He took the roses.

"Thank you, Ace." 

"Wait. I have something else for you." Ashton reached out for something in his bag. He held out a bag of skittles. 

Skylar gasped and covered his mouth with his hand. "For me?" He shrieked.

"I think I'm buying you too many bags of skittles," Ashton sighed. "But whatever makes you happy. I'll do anything for you."

Skylar's cheeks turned crimson as he hit Ashton's shoulder playfully. Ashton let out a loud laugh, not caring about what people think about him. Skylar stopped hitting and stared for a while. He'd never heard him laugh like that and he loved it. Ashton's laughter died down he smiled down at Skylar. The first bell rang.

"I'll see you at lunch," he said. He lifted his chin and kissed his forehead. The mouth of every single girl that was watching them dropped the floor. Skylar looked down at the roses, his face still red. Ashton smiled again and he walked off to his first class. 

Parker let out a low whistle. "Now that was something." 

They heard footsteps approaching them rapidly. They looked into the direction of the noise and saw Miracle running up to them. She leaned onto Parker's shoulder and tried to catch her breath.

"I made it just in time," she gasped. She looked at Parker, Skylar, and the roses. "What did I miss?"

Lunchtime

"So basically, there was this whole thing that happened and I wasn't there to take pictures?!" Ashton and Parker flinched at her loud voice and cold glare. Skylar nodded. "Why did no one call me?" She demanded.

"We didn't know either," Skylar replied. Ashton and Parker nodded this time, fear clearly visible in their eyes. Miracle took a deep breath.

"It was a surprise for Skylar," Ashton said. 

"Fine." She pointed at Ashton who tried to hide behind Skylar. "Next time, call me."

"O-okay," he promised as his scared eyes looked at her.

 Skylar turned to him with his eyebrow raised. "Why are you even scared of her?" He asked. "There's nothing scary about her."

"Women could be scary. A lot of men say that women should stay in the kitchen, but they're scarier if they know how to use a knife," he shuddered. Skylar and Miracle smirked. Parker was confused.

"But enough about that. Those roses." She nodded at the roses. "You know what the meaning of the color of the roses is, right?" Skylar and Parker shook their head. Ashton coughed loudly. Skylar patted his back and handed him his drink.

"Tell me," Parker said excitedly. Miracle leaned in and whispered it in his ear. Parker's mouth dropped and his eyes became huge. Not even a second later he started squealing. Skylar covered his hands on his ears.

"Don't tell Skylar though," she warned. Parker tried his best to stop squealing but failed miserably.

"Why the fuck are you squealing like a pig?" Skylar demanded. 

Parker put his index finger on his lips and winked. "It's a secret."

"It's a secret," Skylar mocked him. "But why don't you sit with your friends anymore?" He asked Ashton.

"Well, they're busy," he answered. "Both Nash and Tyler are doing something for Valentine's Day." Skylar gave him a flat look.

"Mhm."

A few hours later

"Are you going to kill me Ace?" Skylar half-joked as Ashton parked his car next to the forest. 

Ashton chuckled. "I'd never," Ashton replied. He opened the door. "Let's go"

Without saying anything, Skylar also opened the door as Ashton opened the trunk. He grabbed a picnic basket and a few blankets. He handed Skylar the blankets. "We have to walk for a few minutes in the forest. So be careful," he warned Skylar. 

Skylar scoffed. "I'm always carefu- SHIT!" Skylar yelled as he almost tripped. 

Ashton raised his eyebrow. "What was that?" 

Skylar glared at him. After five minutes of walking, they saw a cabin and in front of it a big lake. "Wow," Skylar whispered. 

Ashton smirked. "Impressive huh?"

"You just made it less impressive," Skylar mumbled. They walked up to the front door as Ashton was fiddling with the keys. After a few seconds, the door opened. Skylar gasped at the view.

"My mom designed it," Ashton said. They took off their shoes and Skylar put the blankets on the couch.

"I like it. It's cozy." 

"Let's go upstairs." 

Skylar's eyes turned into slits. "Why?"

"There's a bed and a glass ceiling up there so we can see the stars," he chuckled. They dropped the stuff upstairs. "Make yourself at home." Skylar plopped down on the bed.

"Comfy," Skylar mumbled, wrapping himself in the blankets. Ashton handed him his plate of spaghetti and sat next to him. 

Skylar took a bite. "Thos is so good!" Skylar commented as he stuffed his face.

"My personal chefs made it." 

Skylar scoffed. "Rich people." They ate the rest of the meal in comfortable silence. Skylar looked up. "The stars are beautiful, aren't they?" He said.

"But you're even more beautiful," Ashton smiled. 

Skylar's face turned pink. "Shut up Ace."

"You have a little sauce here." Ashton leaned in and licked the corner of Skylar's lips. "And there," he whispered softly as he connected their lips. "And in there." Ashton slid his tongue in Skylar's mouth and their lips melded perfectly together. Ashton took off Skylar's shirt and rolled his nipple between his thumb and index finger. "Like that?" He whispered as he bit his earlobe. Skylar whimpered in response. "Looks like it." He went for his neck and started kissing and sucking it.

"More," Skylar moaned quietly. Ashton had a hungry look in his eyes and attacked his lips roughly. Skylar got rid of Ashton's shirt and run his hands on his toned chest. Ashton smirked and they continued making out. When Ashton was trying to get Skylar's jeans off, they were interrupted by Skylar's phone which began rining.

"Fuck," they both muttered. 

Skylar calmed himself and answered his phone. "Hello?"

"WHERE ARE YOU?" Carla yelled on the other line. Skylar removed the phone from his ear as Carla continued yelling.

"Hi mom," he greeted her, trying his best to not sound irritated. "I'm at Parker's, remember?"

"Oh yeah. I forgot. You have 30 minutes to come home. It's already 11 o'clock," she ordered.

"Okay, mom." He hung up the phone. "I have to go home." Ashton sighed.

"I told you to put your phone on silent," he grumbled. "But-" He kissed him one last time. "We'll finish this next time."

"I have to do the job. On this job, it's kill or be killed. And I don't want to die."

(By the way, it has been more than a year that I wrote this and I finally know the difference between a hitman and an assassin. So that means that there are things that don't make sense and I'm planning on editing when I wake up)

Tanaka Manyika was a Zimbabwean form 4 student in his 2nd term of study, and  like every other kid his age, he wanted to pass his end of year exams and move on with his life. However on one particular night his parents and his sister were brutally murdered by two strange men. This was only the beginning to a horrific nightmare; the coming of the apocalypse of infinite darkness was upon him. In that despondent world where everyone in the dark is subjected to despicable mutilation by the creatures of the unknown, Tanaka only has a torch as his arsenal, the only tangible form of light in a world consumed by darkness. Can he survive the end of the world and be the haven of others in despair or will he eventually fall prey to the hopelessness of the world?

As the wooden boards fell off one by one, the boy who stood next to Chen Ge slowly transformed. The large head slowly turned, and the small eyes that were squeezed behind the folds of fat stared straight down the corridor. The corridor sealed by the wooden boards was different from the other corridors in the School of the Afterlife. There was no blood fog, and the walls and cement floor looked no different from a normal corridor in real life.
Yin Hong saw the shift in Chen Ge's eyes and whispered to explain, "All the students here know that this place is forbidden, so they do not come here. Therefore, it's only natural for this corridor to have retained its previous state."
"The world behind the door is all red, so how could there be somewhere that is similar to real life? The only explanation is the school meant to keep it this way." Removing the last board, the fog dispersed. Chen Ge and the others rushed in, but only the boy with the smell stood where he was.
"Have you been reminded of something?" Chen Ge wanted to tap the boy's shoulder, but his hand phased through his body. The honest fatty was just a ball of smelly air, unlike other Specters. The boy did not answer. His round body slowly moved down the corridor. He walked very slowly like he was afraid.
Why would he be afraid? Does he not wish to see his real self, or is he unwilling to face the memory in his heart?
Chen Ge did not know how to console the boy. He did not urge him. If the boy showed any clear sign of resistance, he would take him out of there immediately. There was no light in the corridor, and all the windows were sealed. This place was completely isolated from the rest of the school. The school did not seem like it liked other people going there—this was his private place.
"I've only heard of this place from the teachers. I didn't expect things here to appear so normal." Yin Hong was curious and walked at the front. After a small jog, she stopped. "This room is the dormitory that I mentioned earlier. The students who stayed here all said that they would see something standing next to their bed at midnight. His feet stepped on the ground, but there was a noose around his neck. His face was green as he stared at one of the beds. If you met his gaze, you would disappear."
"Is the door locked?" Chen Ge reached out to push at the door.
"Hey! Did you not hear me? Can you give me some reaction? I'm telling you something scary!" Yin Hong was not satisfied with Chen Ge's attitude. "I know you are brave, but these few forbidden zones are the places where the teachers forbade the students from coming. For all newcomers, the first day of class is for getting to know where they can go and where they can't go."
"The door isn't locked. Xu Yin, come with me." Chen Ge completely ignored Yin Hong. While the girl was speaking, he had pushed the door open a sliver.
"You really want to die, don't you! Listen to me, there are things more painful than death in this world, so don't think that…" Yin Hong was the coagulation of negative emotions in Yin Bai. She had to face all the negative emotions and cruel memories. Therefore, she had slowly turned into a monster, but due to what had happened earlier, she had stopped hiding herself before Chen Ge. She probably felt close to Chen Ge, believing they were the same type of person.
Chen Ge noticed the change in Yin Hong, too, but he did not pay it any attention. Yin Hong was the negative memory of Lee Xueyin. He thought that he would be closer to Yin Bai unless the ghost fetus was the carrier of the good memories and he was the one who shouldered all the pain. But that was clearly impossible. He did not think much of it and attributed Yin Hong's change to his sparkling personality.
With Xu Yin's agreement, Chen Ge pushed the bedroom door open. A faded smell of mildew drifted out. Having gotten used to the smell of blood, this smell of mildew felt strangely familiar.
"This place is so messy." Dirty clothes and trash littered the room. The luggage and blankets were strewn everywhere like a tornado had just hit the place.
"Did you discover anything?" The headmaster had been following behind Chen Ge like he was worried Chen Ge might do something crazy. "Shall we leave? This is the school's forbidden zone; we'd better not stay here for too long."
"Wait a minute." Chen Ge stood in the middle of the room and lifted his head to look at the roof. There were nails pinned to the ceiling painted white. From each nail, a tattered cloth was dangling. The cloths of many colors dangled downward. The ceiling was like a white sea, and the red cloths were like corals living on the sea floor. Reaching out to pull at one of them, Chen Ge tugged at it lightly. "This cloth is unable to support a person's weight. They can't be used to hang a person."
"I feel more like they are used to fix mosquito nets. How come your mind goes straight to hanging?" The old headmaster stood at the door. "This room is not big; there probably aren't any secrets here. The school's consciousness has preserved this place probably because this place is meaningful to it."
"Boss, look at this." Bai Qiulin held the mirror with one hand, and his other pointed at the edge of the iron bedframe. The bed had a rope tied to it, and at the other end of the rope was a doll with black hair and a name.
"This looks like the doll that Zhang Ya once gifted me. Has Zhang Ya been here to help the hanging student before?" Looking at the items in the room, Chen Ge could not find the answer. Chen Ge opened the comic and summoned the hanging student. Normally, in the haunted house, the hanging man would hide in the mannequin that Chen Ge had specially made for him. He was a normal Specter, not even as unique as the stench.
The pages turned, and a thin boy appeared in the room. There was an obvious rope mark around his neck, and his neck was dislocated from his shoulders, giving him a strange look.
"You remember this room, yes?" Chen Ge asked softly. The confusion in the student's eyes slowly disappeared—he was like a spooked kitten. He rushed toward one of the beds and tossed all the trash away. He found a black envelope under the mattress, and on it, a sentence was written.
'Who will be next?'
The envelope was puffy like it was stuffed with something. The boy held the envelope tightly with both hands. Fear rose in his heart; he was still very afraid.
"Can I talk a look at that letter?" Chen Ge wondered what the hanging man had experienced, why their dormitory room was filled with dolls crafted by Zhang Ya.
The boy shook his head with determination. He put the black envelope away and rushed back into the comic.
"The envelope looks like a curse, but there is nothing that scares me." Since his worker refused to share, Chen Ge would not force it. He inspected the room again and then replaced everything before leading everyone deeper into the male dormitory.


The hearse with the weird odor slowed to a stop before the entrance. The sound of pebbles could be heard bouncing on the ceiling. There were footsteps coming from the corridor, and there seemed to be someone sawing next door. The door knob to the room rattled slightly, and the faucet in the bathroom kept dripping even though it had been screwed shut. There was a rubber ball that rolled on its own underneath the bed. Wet footsteps started to surface one after another on the floor. 
At 3 am, Chen Ge held a cleaver in his hand as he hid beside the room heater. The call he was trying to make was finally answered. "Landlord, is this what you meant by 'the house can be a little crowded at night'‽"
