A moment of silence fell between them.
"Shiroya-san... My name is Ryuuno Izawa. I would like to request your assistance regarding the contents of this page." The gray-haired boy turned the light novel in his hand to show Seiji the page that he was currently reading.

"Shiroya?" The dark blonde man looked towards Seiji. "I'm sorry, but what might your full name be?"
"Just call me Shiroya," Seiji said coolly.
The blonde-haired man's eyes narrowed slightly. "I see... my apologies." He then looked towards Yuuki Oyokumo. "Come with me! Go over there with me, and stay put."
"Eh... I want to have a chat with Shiroya onii-san."
"You're giving him trouble, idiot," the blonde-haired man rebuked.
Yuuki was startled by this. "Er?"
"Stop talking, and leave with me now." The man beckoned with his hand, a serious expression on his face.
Yuuki looked confused, but when he saw the blonde-haired man's solemn expression, he relented and left the pagoda.
After they walked for a while, the dark blonde man spoke up again. "That person is using a disguise spell. Shiroya is definitely an alias. He obviously doesn't want to reveal his true identity."
"What?"
"Just talking to him is giving him trouble. Do you understand?"
"Eh... But he..."

"Well, um, the story sounds exactly like a story I already read." Richard chuckled. Daedalus chuckled lightly as well and said "Well this story is based off of a real event from long long ago. I believe 'the Shire' that was mentioned would be from when the dark and light shire regions where still one five hundred thousand years ago. Though I am not sure where the mountain was, I think it may have been destroyed though."

To say Richard looked shocked would be an understatement, but Daedalus didn't mind him and simply went back to the story. As he went on and the hours passed by, it soon became dark and the twins began to nod off. Andromeda who had been busy all day finally returned only to see the twins falling asleep in a cute manner while Daedalus read to them.

A few minutes later the twins could be seen asleep in their beds, Richard was in another room though similarly asleep. After getting the kids to sleep Daedalus took his time and walked with Andromeda back to the living room. When they arrived Daedalus sat back down in his chair and opened up a different book.

The book he was reading was called the book of laws. In essence it was a book with basic information and descriptions of all known laws from several different perspectives. Daedalus had been reading it lately as he felt it would be beneficial to his future, let alone that it was quite enjoyable to read.

Andromeda, herself was sitting on the chair opposite him reading a book detailing the elemental laws. She had started doing this after she was told by Daedalus why he was reading the book of laws. She however focused only on the elemental laws as she found she was far more interested in them.

And so they sat in silence simply enjoying eachother's presence while they read their books. A few hours later Daedalus stretched and lay down on the sofa in the middle of the two chairs. Andromeda saw this and joined him to cuddle on the warm sofa in front of the fire.

This is the story of Daedalus on his journey to the peak of craftsmanship.

I thought I would just go ahead and make a quick note, on average each chapter is at least 500 words long. This is because I don't have that long everyday to write a chapter, it's why I try to make each chapter seem like just another part of the previous one.

I'm slowing down on chapters lately, once every Sunday, because I am doing a bit of a fanfictiony thing in the latest chapters. I asked if I should make it a side book thing but my readers wanted it here so yeah.

I am doing a bit of MHA and other books I have enjoyed lately like Spiderman and marvel stuff.

A month had passed since the students had arrived at the Final Plaza. The administrator never set a time limit on the length of their stay.

Of course, the students were limited by the amount of food they had packed in their spatial rings, but most of the Academies had the students pack enough food to last themselves 2-3 months while inside the trials.

The Urrugdrasil Trials were almost random and sometimes the trials could take a week at the shortest and 3 months at the longest.

The Academy leaders had all decided to stay inside the Last Plaza for as long as possible. This was good news for Cecil since in the past month; he was only able to finish reading all the historic records on the 1st floor.

Cecil learned many things about the races of Alterna. Their history was very intriguing and it enriched his brain. He could proudly say that he had an in depth knowledge regarding all the history behind every race on Alterna. This included some of the races that were extinct from the present era.

Cecil hadn't started reading any of the Runic Array books on the 2nd floor yet, but since they were going to stay for another month, Cecil naturally took advantage of this extra time. He quickly went to the library's 2nd floor and began reading the knowledge of the Ancient Runic Arrays.

The runic arrays were also essential in creating the magi-tech that Cecil was so fond of. He also wanted to upgrade the runic array on some of his weapons if he found better versions of it in the books.

With his Mana Eyes, he might even be able to upgrade some of the Ancient Arrays. 

While Cecil was busy with his reading, Lucia and the rest were cultivating inside the healing ward's building. It turned out the building wasn't just for the student to rest and recuperate, but it was actually a cultivation building.

The ambient mana inside the building was exponentially higher than what was outside of it. It took a while for anyone to realize this because they were too busy exploring the other areas. It was only when Velicia, who was by far the most injured person at the time, had kept staying inside the building.

She was also despondent over the loss of her older brother. When she finally got over her sadness and resolved herself to improve, she decided to shut herself inside and cultivate her mana stage.

After a month, she finally came out and to everyone's surprise; she had reached the Mana Core stage! She was already a stage higher than both Cecil and Lucia!

Originally, the academy leaders wanted to leave the trial grounds after a month had passed, but they revised their plans knowing that they could speed up their cultivation while inside the trial grounds.

Everyone began to frantically cultivate after they found out the benefits of the healing ward which was now dubbed as the cultivation building.

Cecil didn't care about that however. He was the only student who still stepped out of the building and head towards the library. 

The library that was full of people in the last month had become barren. Only Cecil was there in the quiet stillness of the library. It suited him perfectly since now he could concentrate on his reading.

He opened a book called Advanced Studies of Runes. Written inside were all sorts of different runes that were new to him. He quickly jotted down all the new knowledge into his Magic Tome.

From the new runes he found, he was actually not able to find a single one of them that needed improving! The ancient runes were all in their most optimal and perfect states and it seems that present day runes were only the degraded versions of the ancient runes.

"No wonder!"

Cecil eagerly began to learn. Not long after he began to experiment with the runes and found a rune combination that cooled down the object it was inscribed on. Cecil was ecstatic, but he still felt that it wasn't enough.

He needed to find more runes to supplement the combination and form a runic array. This way he could create a perpetual cooling array, but he couldn't find any runes that could supplement his combination.

Cecil could only stop his experiments and continue reading. It didn't take long for him to finish scrutinizing all that was written inside the book, he used his hyper-sensitivity to read the book with lightning speed. 

He quickly tossed the book over to a vine and grabbed another book that a vine had brought over to him.

His peculiar way of reading was really mind-boggling. It looked like he was only flipping through the pages and not reading anything. It was no wonder the Old Library Sage back at Arks Academy's Library flipped out when he saw Cecil's way of reading.

Before when there were still other students inside the library, Cecil didn't dare to use Hyper-sensitivity. He didn't want to attract any attention to himself, but since no one was around anymore, Cecil could do as he pleased.

"I'll finish up the 2nd floor in a week then I'll go over to the magi-tech building and experiment on the runes and try and make one of those Ancient MIDs." 

Cecil smirked then he voiced his thoughts out loud, "The administrator said that we can't take anything out of the building, but he didn't say that we weren't allowed to create something and bring it back with us...right?"

He shrugged and thought it was worth a try. It was better than not doing anything. If he was indeed able to make the ancient MID using the materials present inside the Magi-tech building and bring it out with him...that'd be super!

The extinct materials were in abundance inside the magi-tech building, that treasure load of materials were within reach, but he couldn't even bring it out! Now that he found a plausible way, he just had to try it out no matter what!

Cecil quickened his reading speed and notes taking. A week passed and just like he planned, he was able to successfully finish reading and copying all the books on the 2nd floor within a week.

Just before he decided to head back to the cultivation building, he still had one more place to visit.

"Let's head up to the 30th level."

During his time while inside the library, Cecil had checked every level of the library before reading over the books on the 2nd floor.

When he got to the 30th floor, he was surprised to find another similar gap in the door leading to the 30th floor that was identical to the one he found in the cultivation building's moving platforms.

He hadn't opened up the door yet because there were still many other students inside the library during that time. Cecil didn't want to attract any unneeded attention so he had planned to secretly open the 30th floor, but thanks to the students now cultivating in the center building, he could now open the door at ease.

"Let's see what's behind door number 30 shall we?"

Cecil pulled out Providence and stabbed it into the door's gap. Nothing happened, but when he twisted the sword a little in order to pull it out and try again, the door's mechanism seemed to have activated. He was startled and let go of the Providence, but then the sword twisted a full 360 degrees clockwise twice and 4 times counter clockwise by itself. Then a large clunk was heard and the door slowly opened itself.

Behind the door was a singular podium with a book enshrined on top of it. It looked pretty ancient with the cover and bindings being all worn down. 

Cecil walked over to the podium and grabbed ahold of the book. Just as his hands touched the book, a dark green colored mana rose from the book and began rushing into Cecil's body.

"Ahhhh...not again."

Once again, Cecil's consciousness was cut and he collapsed right in front of the podium with the book in hand. The door to the 30th floor slammed itself close and not long after, a wizened old elf slowly materialized inside of the room.

The elderly male elf lowered his eyes onto the collapsed boy and smiled gently. "You were not a part of this old one's vision...have the Gods granted us mercy and sent your people to us?"

The elderly elf rubbed his long white beard and extended a hand. He began to gently caress Cecil's hair. "Receive my Ultimate Blessing young one..."

The elf's hand that was stroking Cecil's hair began to glow with a rainbow light and the light started to seep into his body. A cocoon of rainbow light surrounded Cecil and once he saw this, the elderly elf stood up and smiled in satisfaction.

"I leave the future to you young ones..."

The old elf then disappeared in a flash of dissipating light particles.

When Cecil woke up, he was surrounded by white threads. He panicked a bit, but when he pushed away at the threads, they immediately collapsed away easily. He emerged from the cocoon and he quickly stood up.

"..." Cecil could only sigh in frustration. He didn't know what happened to him or why he was suddenly inside of a cocoon. After fainting, he completely lost control of his surroundings. He felt oddly comfortable though while in his sleep, but waking up inside of a cocoon was not something he wanted to experience ever again.

"Whatever...let's take a look at the...book?"

Cecil finally noticed that the book he was supposedly holding tightly on to was nowhere to be found.  Just as he was about to look for it, he suddenly felt a piercing headache.

"AH??"

He felt like a boat load of information was being forcibly squeezed into his brain. Cecil collapsed while grasping his head in pain. The pain came so suddenly, but it was fortunate that it quickly vanished after only 5 seconds. To Cecil however, those 5 seconds felt like an eternity. 

When the pain subsided, Cecil was surprised to find some new information inside of his brain. 

"World Tree's Final Blessing?" He mumbled, but then in the next instant he exploded in fury. "What blessing, goddammit! What kinda blessing puts me through such agony?! It's a curse! A curse I tell you!!!"

While yelling to no one in particular, Cecil checked up on the 'blessing' he had received. "Healing Arts? Woah!"

Cecil was surprised to find that the book that he had 'lost' was actually floating inside his brain. With a mere thought, a flash of green appeared in front of him and the old book materialized in his hands.

When he opened up the book, the boy discovered many lost and ancient healing magic spells inside. The unique thing about these healing spells was that they needed use light elemental mana, but nature mana instead.

"There's even a way to cultivate nature mana!"

It was the year 2023 on Earth, on the afternoon of a normal day, the Earth was suddenly enveloped by an unknown light that mysteriously transferred the human population into another world.

This story begins with a pitiful boy who was reluctantly forced into accepting his family's martial inheritance after his siblings turned it down. Who would have thought that this very inheritance would be extremely useful in the world he would be transported to.

Separated from his family, he was thrown into a forest of an unknown world alongside his friend and pet, Silver. This is the story about the adventures of the boy, Cecil, and his pet wolf, Silver, in the world of Alterna.

A long time ago, there exists a place called Eden. People live there happily, there was no crime, no sickness, as they are all pure of heart. Their body strong and fit and seemingly immune to any diseases. 

Until one day when the tree of life, which was the heart of Eden and supported it, started decaying. The tree was warship as a god as it not only protected them but is also the reason of why they are immune to any diseases and having a long life. 

As the tree slowly started losing its energy, the people started to fall sick easily and one by one, their lives ended. Until one day, a hero showed out of nowhere and gave the people the water of life. The people took the water and sprinkled it on the tree, slowly the tree started to glow brighter and brighter like the sun and spread the light around Eden.

 As the light touches the ground, flowers bloom all around and the people are cured of their sickness. Glowing with a holy light, Eden look like a true paradise, the people cried and cheered with happiness and wanting to thank the hero they turn to him, but the hero was like the wind as he vanishes. 

The people remember him in their heart and swore to pass the story down to their children, as time pass the story became a legend and became a bedtime story for parents to read to their children.

"And that is how the story ends", said grandpa Sam as he told the story to his grandson Jake. "Where did you get this story from grandpa?" asked Jake. "I made it of course" Sam told his sixteen-year-old grandson. Jake has always been very close to his grandfather then to his parents, as he had spent more time with Sam then his parents as they are always busy with work and Sam was the one who took care of him. 

"This is a story that I made when I was young, look it was even made into a book" Sam showed the book to his grandson. Sam was a novelist who mostly wrote children's and fantasy book before he retired and while he was not the best he still got the in the best seller list as his most popular book has been sold over three thousand in the first week. 

"Wow, I wish I could write a book like that" thought Jake as he started reading the book. Looking at Jake reading the book, Sam slowing stood up and left the room while quietly closing the door.
Jake didn't even notice that Sam had left as he was immerse in the book,  and while he was reading, a small gust of wind blew some paper away from him and jolt him out of his book.

 When he was about to put down the book to pick up the paper, a stronger wind picks up and blow all his things away. "What is happening", he said nervously as he drops the book. As the book touches the floor, a strong attraction force came from the book. "AHHHHHHH!!!", scream Jake, as he was pulled into the book and slowly, he black out.

I am not a writer, this story is just something I wrote in school for my project.

A story of a young boy named Jake who loves story's of swords and magic, found himself sucked in a book, searching for a way out.

We were planning to go on to the new base but on the way there, the rain became havly and we were needed by this old mansion. We didn't want to stay in this mansion but we have so chosen or the darkness hunters will take us in our sleep. ONce we entry the mansion, I take the soup  and want off to the kitchen that I found in time before we have to eat very cold soup for the meals friday. I put the soup over the fire and I went I was wailing for the soup to heat up, I want thought the  laberry with my brother to found something to read since it was going a while to the read light up. The guys try to do my move, the one that I saw in this version, then they fail or feel like something didn't want their to do the move. My brother was in the leberry with me, looking at what kind of books this place have to read, then he found book and want into a deep thought while reading. I found a book on Everwood history, that was re write by the darkness, since the old history was forgotten but they only wrote history that go down 5 years of history. During the war but Everwood history go down deeper then this and most of the textbook on the history, want away at once. 
When the old textbook was missing and when the new textbook show up, they only hold what happen during the war. When my brother was reading his book in the chair, not standing up reading. I found a another book, when I was going to set down myself to read, I notice a book in the place where I found the textbook. I pull the book out that was just a cloth journal tie together with small rope but when I open it, it was full of Everwood folktale that the darkness say was all destroy and lost when the everwood guardian want mission, during the war. It was found in the in the same place, where I pull the textbook out. The journal belong to a person that Everwood be passing the name around but if someone talk about this person, they go mission. So this name was not talk off for years after it and they say that the person journal, was long forgotten. This journal I found, belong to Emmily smith. Emmily smith did something but folks are telling any story about her unit, no one knows if the story is real or not. After her journal was found, somehow the journal want mission out of nowhere and was never found again after the name of Emmily smith was out  in Everwood. I read the tales in Emmily's journal and this feel more real then the history in the land that the darkness wrote down. 
"When the marker of the Scorpio's sword what unclaim, a few years later. The zodiac sisters that Everwood once knew, Stacy, the zodiac sister of Scorpio hold the sword in her hand but after her death during the war by the darkness own hands. They take away the Everwood light, that the darkness in hiding from the folks, the truth behind the zodiac sisters death. This sword that was the great maker and the zodiac sister of Scorpio will show Everwood, who truly is the darkness. The return of the forbidden history, that the darkness is keeping from the Everwood folks that have no idea what was going on. Stacy, say that the sword will return to Everwood along with the light but the warriors, who fought for Everwood will be more powerful than the other."
I don't know what this means or what is real or not now, but then there was a picture of this sword, it was written in the journal. The sword in the picture looks like the one that I found in this hidden graveyard, that holds all the dead bodies of the Everwood guardians. I looked at the ring and someone was shaking me, so I hid the journal in my bag fast before they saw it. It was my brother, who was reading and he remomory me . It was dinner time. I got the soup ready in the bowl, after the guys had to dry off and we ate in the living room, that was falling apart. When the guys were asleep in the same living room,  I was up in the corner of the living room near the light of the oil lamp reading the rest of the journal.

	This will be the journal entry I will ever write, this journal will only one I own and it is going to be in hiding as well. Only the child  of the zodiac sisters can read this and Stacy told me that the child of the fourth older within the zodiac signs is the only one, who understands Everwood. The Everwood on the island and put this journal with the other. So if you are the child of the fourth older zodiac sisters, I trust you with the journal of unfinished tales and the handbook that the darkness hunter gave me. So if anyone reading this, copy this letter down and give it to the darkness for me.
