Sanji didn't want to get emotional so he calmed down and walked. but as he walked he said" I never thanked you for your help before thanks old man but next time we wont need it... Who do you think we are!"

Joichira just shook his head and went to the dinner "come on soma we have to open up the shop"

Sanji went to the base and met up with the family. They talked and he told them he was going on a 2 year journey to train his skills. Miyako was crying asking to go with him but Sanji refused saying on his next journey. he asked cap if he wanted to go through he refused saying he may meet up once in a while. Sanji gave all the story boards for their manga for the next 5 years. Cap was shocked but shook it off.

then there was a girl crying in the bathroom. kai and Sanji walked over and talked to her she seemed to appreciate it and fell for Kai... so it would seem. she wouldnt even look at Sanji. 'am I cursed or something' Sanji didn't notice she was blushing so hard whenever she looked at sanji so she had to avoid eye contact

They walked to the performance area and a lady started talking to the girl. oh her name is Maruyama, Takako... I bet she will be a looker in the future. 

Kai friend seems like hes a rival of his named Amamiya, Shuuhei hes the son of someone famous... if it isn't cooking I dont know much about it.also there is Kousei Arima he's suppose to be a prodigy but as I said its not cooking so I know nothing about it. however he seems to be depress... well path to being a great is difficult I guess his parents are forcing their dreams upon him when they learned he was a genius... but its seems to be something to do with him...he doesn't seem unhealthy just hmm doesn't love playing. I thought as I heard his song... its better than Amamiya's but its lacking heart. So depending on how the judges vote...

Next there was a girl named Emi Igawashe was cute but she messed up alot she seems kind of errratic but has talent, then Takeshi Aiza  he was reckless and yeah  honest and straightforward. 

I shake my head... Takako was next she seemed fine but if I had to say a little boring. then Kai played he was playing simple but then took off his shoes and going crazy. I enjoyed his music the most but he seemed to lack the foundations of recital. They wont vote for him too bad as my new friend I would love to see him do well. but with his playing I know this isn't the end. Reiko-nee good luck cheering him up. 

Finally my turn. I'm glad I was last because I heard the order and they seem to be very simple to play. I started playing and the world changed around everyone like a adventure and traveling it was so emotional everyone started crying and laughing. once I done it was silence I bowed and walked away...

I guess I didnt do well. Well no biggie lets see I guess I'll go for a walk. sad because no one liked my song...I didnt know that people were still shocked by the performance they had to process it for five minutes later they were shouting encore and stuff but I had already left...

"Oh Kai I have to go. I'm going to Europe for training so I have to leave now and call my pops"

As this was going on Sanji walked for a couple of days and ended up in a small town. there a couple kids were talking about getting a new figure. Sanji went inside the candy store and saw a kid and his father arguing about candy... there was a girl inside with angry eyes looking at him... I guess she has a crush on him.. I got some candy then when I was about to use the phone I see these group of guys try to attack a girl and come in kick knocking over two and she knocks over one...I look at the girl and shocked

It's different from the other strawberry shortcake because Yue's Strawberry shortcake has to be cooked in a deep-fry before it can be served.

After the long day of painstaking excessive care in considering every fine detail on the future restaurant.

We spot a place that we think perfect to build it in, We decide who's architect will decide for layout, to publicity/announcement, to goods/supplier, and the add employee beside us. 

Yeah, we decided that we will take part in everyday business. We will take turns being a waitress or bartender, so starting next week while the restaurant is being built we will learn how the proper handling of those sorts of mixing and blending drinks.

We also added some unique way of serving, all employees will wear roller skates, single wear roller shoes for starters or heavy weighted employee, or we can use Strauss street roller for those skinny and less heavy than the normal weight if he/she doesn't pick up how to use the standard roller skate.

Every employee should be taught how to use it, even the chef and bartender helper should practice it together with us before the business is ready for the public.

We also split the task to complete, before the business start. Ah-rem would be responsible for a costume together with Kaori, Me and xiao meng for interior design, cups, plates, tables and chairs to be used.

Meisha and Micho are to find a good plantation and herding farm. Maze and Yue will responsible for choosing employees from cooks, bartender, barista, Dj's, Waiter to guards.

Picking employees should be a piece of cake! Since Maze is a leader of the ace investigation team of the FBI.

Leafa and penne would be responsible for publicity and for distributing allocating design for entrance token since we decided to make it private whom only token holders can enter. 

We can't just distribute it randomly to young misses and young masters out there! We will pick the customer wisely whom we think worthy of being a customer, whether he/she owns a business, heir of a wealthy family or a normal citizen. As long as your a member with proof token and identity inside it, then you can enjoy a discount at everything.

The token holder can bring 2-3 person but their drinks and food are to pay with the normal price of the goods outside, Walk-in customers would have to pay the entrance fee and wait in the lobby if his identity is valid to enter. It's not that we suspect walk-in but safety our token holders are the top priority!

After everything is being allocated, the group decided to enjoy the night in the club near where their meeting place took place.


As Ah-rem is with us, surely she brings her mini-motor house which packed of latest and designer clothes from the one she designs to her favorite shop brand.

Since we are friends everyone decided in secret to take advantage of her again, seeing our intention after picking whatever we want. Ah-ream runs after us bringing laughter and pleas in the night as she beat us.

as i walked toward the exit, i began to arrange my bag. I've learnt hunter's skill book such as rapid shot, dual shot ,and haste. 2 damage skill and 1 movement skill.the skill was categorized to be quite common but it's just oerfect for my current level. skill could also be learned  by paying a specific NPC according to your class.I also got some bronze grade hunter's equipment :gloves, boots, leather armour.

'it's a bronze chest.i wonder what is inside.' then, she aligned the necklace to the chest lock. after a second, it opened. she reached out her hand and took out everything. there are 2 thing inside and some gold and silver. a bracelet and a skill book, gathering.the skill book allow me to harvest herbs and crops.after i've learned it , i'll start gathering plants along the road to town.i've also worn the bracelet, it's stats was quite good.
 i started practice my gathering skill with nearby herbs. what's amazing is my maps function is improved because of the skill. i can now locate plants nearby me in a certain range.i pick them up and put them into my inventory. sometimes i failed, but my success rate was improving.

while Bai Tian in her encounter with the monster horde had miraculously acquired lots of money,so she didn't have the same fate as them.

'so delicious. I should buy some for Jun. I'll give it to him after i left the beginner town'

I went to a nearby restaurant. to trigger the learning quest, all you need to do was talk to the restaurant manager who seem to be very busy.after I talk to him, he said that the kitchen is lack of man power.then, I'll offer my help. that's where the  quest start.he gave me the cooking skill and  a spicy pork ribs recipe . then , I started to cook according to the instructions written. the food gives bonus stats just like dessert. after finished,I went back to meet the manager.

then, he gave me some exp and money.

Because of Torak's outstanding figure and the fact, even though half of his face was covered under his baseball cap, the callous aura that surrounded him was so different that attracted many people attention to glance at him twice, but Raine didn't mind it.
She busied herself to choose a cake that she liked, looking through rack after rack and because the cakes were so pretty she didn't have heart to eat them.
Yet, in one of the rack, Raine found an interesting cake and giggled when she watched the image that printed on it, she took it and showed it to Torak beside her.
"I want this." Raine showed a chocolate cake with cute wolf printed on it.
"A wolf, huh?" Torak smirked meaningfully. "So eager to eat me?"
The smile on Raine's face faded as she pouted, made her looked more adorable under her baseball cap. "Yours is white, this is grey." Raine retorted and made Torak laughed at her. "I think this resemble Calleb more than you."
This time it was Torak who looked at her sullenly. "Don't buy this." He snatched the cake away from Raine's hand and put it back on its original place. "Choose another cake."
"Huh?" Raine flabbergasted, she would have never thought Torak has this side of him. "Are you jealous?"
Torak didn't answer her and grabbed her hand as he strode away from that cute wolf chocolate cake.
"Are you jealous?" Raine poked his waist with her forefinger. "Are you jealous?" She kept bothering him with the same questions again and again. She found it was actually really funny to see Torak like this.
"No, I am not." Torak said curtly, but didn't turn his back to see her.
With that obvious lie, Raine laughed heartily. Somehow, for some reason that she didn't know, she loved to see the Jealous Torak that refused to admit his feeling.
Not the one that who would kill other people without a second thought.
After sometime they were roaming around the cake shop, Raine chose a pink bunny cake and one rainbow cake. Afterward, both of them walked to the cashier to pay.
"I want to buy some cake for Calleb and Raphael too." Raine said before it was their turn to pay.
Upon hearing that, Torak was about to go out of the line and followed her, but Raine pushed him back.
"Just stay here, it almost our turn, I will be right back." Because the cake shop started to get crowded, the line in the cashier also get long, if Torak also followed her, it would take longer time to start line up again.
Raine went back to the rack where she found the cute chocolate wolf and got two of it. She wouldn't be the one who ate that, so Torak would be fine with that right?
However, before she could go, someone held her shoulder and forced her to turn her body and face them.
It happened so fast and Raine was caught off guard when the other person snatched her baseball cap and revealed her face.
"See? I told you it is her!" One from the three girls, which blocked Raine's way, talked in her coquettish tone.
"Oh, right! It is really her!" The other girl chimed in and closed her mouth exaggeratedly. "How she could enter this shop?"
"She definitely want to steal something from this store." The third girl eyed Raine face, traced down to her hands. "See? That the evidence!" She pointed her finger to the two cakes in Raine's hand.
Raine recognized the three of these girls, they were the girl from the orphanage, the girls who always bullied her and talked bad about her.
It was so unfortunate for Raine to meet them here.
"You must be here to steal something, right?" The first girl in floral dress that only reached half of her thigh, raised her chin arrogantly. Her name was Sally.
"Sally, did you forget that she is mute?" The second girl with stubby face, wearing black shirt and hot pants, reminded her fellow friends with disgusted look in her eyes when she saw Raine. "There is no point to ask her." Her name was Lana.
"Why don't we call the security?" The third girl said, her name was Diane, compared to the other two, she looked more beautiful with her curly long hair and slender body.
Raine really didn't want to talk to them or stayed longer there, so ignoring their rubbish talk, she turned around and was about to leave when Lana grabbed her hand again.
"Where do you think you are going?!" Her voice was so loud, and she did that intentionally. "Are you trying to steal here!?"
Diane and Sally smiled excitedly because they had drawn the attention that they wanted.
Raine was getting nervous because of this, not because she became the center of attention, but she was worried with Torak's reaction when he found out about this.
"Why? Are you afraid now?" Diane asked and walked, in the way that she thought elegant, toward Raine.
"What happens here?" Speaking of the devil…
Torak had stood behind Raine and glared at the three girls in front of him viciously. His scary expression alone, managed to make Diane and Lana took three steps back.
"What is it?" Torak tilted his head at Raine questioningly. "Do you know them?"
"Uhm… yes, we were in the same orphanage." Raine told Torak.
With the mention of the orphanage and the way they talked to Raine, Torak could have guessed how they treated Raine when they were there.
"What is going on here?" A man in his mid thirties approached the crowd, he looked at the three girls, who had made the commotion. "There is something that I can help?" He asked politely, especially when he saw Torak. His bearing alone told him that he wasn't someone that simple.
At first no one answer the manager, but then, it was Lana who spoke out loud. "She was trying to steal cakes here."
The manager stared at Raine, but the way Torak looked back at him, made him shudder and turn his attention toward the three girls instead, who were less scary. "Do you have evidence for that?"


Snippet:

A year ago Raine was discharged from mental institution and had to live in the orphanage. It wasn't the best place. At least not for someone like her.

Until one faithful night she met him.

The clutched on the blanket tightened as Raine wonder if she did something wrong. She could feel it when Torak reached out his hand at her.

Will he hit me? Raine shivered with that thought.

Torak pulled back the hoodie off her head and gently tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Don't." He said firmly, "I want to see you, don't hide yourself…"

“The spirit of the guardian angel will breathe new life into human child. Three guardian angels will be born into terrestrial world once again and the three of you will be their protectors.”

“Protectors!!?” Jedrek snapped. In the end, he stopped walking and turned his back to look at the moon goddess from far distance away, his eyes glistening red with anger. His wolf was livid. 

“Why do you think we will help?” Kace asked while narrowing his black obsidian eyes, his wolf took control of him. He was the youngest among the three and the less temperamental among them.

The three of them were cursed by Selene because of their ferocious action to gain supreme power and authority. 

The moon goddess didn’t bless them with a mate as a punishment of their atrocious way and forced them to involve in this deadly war with the demons.

“You will turn us into a slave for those sickly creatures!?” Torak asked incredulously. “Aren’t you afraid that we will snap them into two?”

The guardian angel was so fragile and they as lycanthropes didn’t appreciate the weaknesses.

“No, you will not.” Selene said patiently. “You will not be their slave nor hurt them, you will cherish them in every way possible.”

Jedrek laughed menacingly upon hearing this, they didn’t care about the resurrected of the beast, once they crossed their territory, with or without the guardian angel he would tear their body apart. “I will be the last person they will see, once I find them.” He was referring to both the guardian angel and the demon.

But, the next voice from Selene was laced with mirth when she spoke.

“You will not hurt your mate.”

This is a werewolf story and of course a fantasy! Since everybody has their own version of the way supernatural life, here I am trying to write mine.

Kris saw that Lena already had all the ingredients on the table. 

"Ok.. let's get started." Lena spoke. "It's not that hard.. just follow the recipe."

She handed him a cake recipe that was originally Aunt Mary's. He looked at it. It seems as simple as boiling eggs.

"So.. we will make it together until you can make one yourself."

"By myself?" Kris asked.

"Yeah. Your cake for your mom should be fully made by you."

"Ok."

Lena and Kris measured the ingredients together. The first few times, Kris messed up teaspoon and tablespoon measurements. They had to start over with the dry ingredients. She did not allow him to mix them the next time until she double-checked that everything was the correct measurements.

Lena said that hard work and more love into making a cake makes it more special. Although she has a mixer, she told Kris to mix the batch by hand with a whisk. While he was mixing, she prepared the ingredients for making the frosting. 

The oven was already preheated. Kris poured the cake mix to a cake bin and put it in the oven. Lena set the timer and then they went back to make the frosting.

Lena cracked an egg opened and showed Kris how to separate the egg yolk from the egg whites. He failed a few times but Lena said that it can be reused for something else.

After the frosting was made, it was put in the fridge. When the timer set off, they removed the cake from the oven and let it sit to cool off. 

"So... how was your first time making a cake?" Lena asked.

Kris' apron was very messy. It had flour and eggs on it. His cheeks had flour and frosting stain because he kept touching his face. 

Lena grabbed a wet towel and handed to Kris. "You have frosting on your face."

Kris took it and wiped his face. Lena smiled and stole the wet towel from him. "You missed a few spots." She went up near him and wiped away the few spots he missed.

He cleared his throat. "You look better with your hair like that."

Lena touched her two ponytails. "Better than it down?"

"Yeah."

"Thanks."

She walked back to her work station and started working on something else. Kris looked at what she was doing but he was sure she was not making a cake.

"What are you making?" He asked.

"Scones. So I can bring with me to Gary when I go see him." Lena stopped mixing and looked at Kris. "He like scones and Tye said he was done with his recovery so it's a celebratory gift."

"Do you need help?"

"No." Lena placed her mix down and open the fridge. "But the cake can be frosted now. It's the most fun part. You get to decorate it any way you want."

She handed him the frosting. She quickly showed him how to frost it and Kris did the rest himself. Lena went back to mixing the scones. After Kris was done with the frosting, he helped Lena knead the scone's dough. She tossed it in the oven and they went back to decorating the cake together.

After the cake was done, Lena sliced it. She dished a piece to Kris and one for her. They both tasted it and it was very good.

"It's good!" Lena was happy. "You can do it by yourself after lunch."

She took out the scones and let them cool. While Kris finished his slice of cake, Lena used the failed eggs and make a stir fry for them. 

"Your cooking is very good." Kris complimented their lunch.

"Really? Thanks!" Lena was already planning to use her amazing food to bring Kris to her side.

 'Just you wait, you'll get to eat it every day!' She was silently evilly laughing in her heart how she was going to torture him.

After lunch, Kris baked his own cake while Lena packed the scones in a nice box. She made enough for Gary and to share with the nurses.

She continued to watch and gave Kris verbal tips as he made the cake all by himself. He was a quick learner. After Kris spent a long time making the cake and decorating it, he was proud of his handiwork.

However, Lena packed the cake and stole it.

"This cake is for Gary."

Kris' heart tore a bit. His hard work... went to someone else.

"Cakes are best when fresh, so you can wake up early tomorrow and make a fresh cake for your mom." Lena explained.

What Lena said was indeed correct. "Thanks." Kris spoke.

Lena pushed a small bag of scones to Kris. "These are for you. Your celebratory gift for successfully baking a cake." 

Kris took the bag and noticed that there was something special about the ribbon that was tied around the bag.

"That is a good luck charm. It's for you too."

Kris smiled at her. He put it off to the side because he will eat that later when he missed her. He looked back at who Lena was overly excited about her scones. 

"Do you.. like Gary?" He asked.

"Didn't you ask me that before?"

"You're always happy when you talk about him."

"Gary is a really good friend. He has gone through a lot too and friends are always there for each other. We support each other through our high and low times in life."

Lena moved closer to Kris and held his hand. "I told you that I will stay with you until you can hug your mom. And I believe that you can."

"And after that?" Kris was hoping that she was not only sticking to him to help him.

"After that?" Lena released his hand and thought about it. "Well, I can't charge you anymore so I'll go broke. But, I can just hug your golden thighs right?"

Kris laughed. "You can hug both of them."

"Good."

Kris and Lena both cleaned up the kitchen. Lena already packed her bag for her overnight stay at the safe house. James would be picking her up soon. It was 5 p.m. and it was about a three-hour drive to get there. It would be dark when they arrived.

Kris stayed with Lena until she left. She locked her doors and turned to look at Kris. 

"Make sure you wake up early enough to make the cake, not like today."

"Ok."

"And make sure you have your tickets already."

"Yes."

"And you can't just give them to her like that. You need to make the cake box is pretty and the tickets are in a nice card. Bring some nice flowers too..." Lena was worried. "And.. don't push yourself too much okay? You don't have to hug her today. Your first hug with your mom will be special regardless of any day."

"Yes."

Kris liked the nagging, Lena. She was leaving him but she still made sure he was perfectly fine before she left. He knew that she had her own things to do, he was not going to force her to stay with him. When she is officially his, he'll make sure she doesn't get to see one speck of Gary.

Why didn't you choose the second male lead instead?! He treats you better?!

They are called the second male leads because they don't get the main female lead. 

But wait... I just got transmigrated as the villainess?! I am bullying the female lead... and everyone hates me?! 

Well, screw you female lead and male lead.. I don't need both of you!

*Looks around* Where is my second male lead? Is it you, you or you? AHH.. just choose the cutest one! 

This is a story about a Lena who has transmigrated to a new body and a parallel like world. 

Her fate is bounded to be the villainess of the story. How can she make herself loveable and find her second male lead when every move she makes, she is fated to cause trouble?

She hiccuped. "It's f**ken ugly!" He stared down her head. Lena raised her arm and put her hand in front of it. "Can I touch?"

Without even approving, Lena touched it. First, she poked on it like it was some exotic species, then she gently placed her entire hand on it. He could feel her warm hand on his cold body. It sent a warm tingle throughout his body. 

"Does it hurt?" Lena asked.

"No. Pain is just an emotion in the brain. I might feel it at first, but I already learned how to avoid the pain, hiding it away."

Lena stood up, standing in front of him. "Sorry I was rude. You can see mine too."

"What? I don't want --" 

Lena lifted her shirt up a bit but he grabbed her hands to stop and pulled the shirt back down. "I don't need to see it."

"But, mine's pretty. You need to see it!"

"I really don't want to see it."

"Are you calling it ugly too?! No it's pretty, I promise!"

A manly and stoic voice delivered a prognosis. Was I caught in another juxtapositioner's lair?

His words were clearly expressed; they didn't appear to be of a third person narrative.

I realised I was conscious, but my eyes were closed, and I was lying incapacitated. The surface beneath me was solid and cool to the touch.

"Further blood tests detected an intriguing amount of elevated testosterone and epinephrine. On the other hand, his mana levels were too low for magical abilities." The clinical voice rambled on.

"Your conclusion." I recognized Leinard's voice.

The clinical voice sighed. "I envisioned the worst that would've befallen our Captain is sexual exhaustion. Apart from an overexcited libido triggered on a whim, the boy's readings concluded a perfectly healthy and normal human."

I heard a frustrated sigh released from Leinard before he raised a question on why demons called skrit were going to such lengths to capture me when I wasn't anything exceptional.

The skrits's attempts had seen to the injuries or deaths of eight of his squads so far with the remaining able body knights fighting for their lives to hold back an onslaught occurring across the entire landscape of Hell's Labyrinth.

My heart picked up in beat when I learned of the high damage and loss of life among the human prisoners. I gathered an impression that the statistics were not a normal pattern.

"If the boy is common, as you say, why smuggle him into Apocalypse and place him in Hell's Labyrinth without—" Leinard's voice paused.

His breath burned against my cheek. The sensation was replaced with a stinging slap.

"Argh!" I yelped.

"How long have you been listening?"

My eyes met Leinard's, which were filled with rage. I felt a lie to his question would put me into a coma.

"Since the start of your recipe list for a devilishly handsome guy." I spat out. "Your analysis was kind of off. I'm eighteen."

I gradually sat up and was introduced to the voice behind the clinical recipe list.

Dr Samuel Abe Mercer of the EKO Medical Unit was a wiry man in a white overcoat. His features were gaunt and close to being skeletal. A black eye-patch covered his right eye, but it couldn't hide the deep scaring around his brow bone and upper cheekbone. His free eye carried a bizarre tint of red that accentuated the morose tone of his pale skin and small ears.

"Oh, and he's aesthetically pleasing to the eye," Samuel added to his diagnosis.

I glanced around the room I was contained within.

Glass cabinets (storing rows of labelled vials) were lined up against one wall.

Opposite to where I sat stood tall benches supporting strange bronze and bulky apparatuses.

Free-standing lamps burned in the corners; their white light focused on the metal slab that I rested on.

The walls that I could make out were a sterile gray and unadorned.

From my memories of books, I had seen, I deduced I was in something of a medical examination room. I braced myself for further interrogation.

"I'm very excited to come across a living creature other than demons and humans." Samuel's eyes brightened and turned toward one of the benches.

I felt nervous by the sight of his glistening red eye and decided to see what had excited him. Blood rushed to my head and went cold against my chest when I saw Small Cap unconscious on a metal tray on the bench.

His legs were stretched out and clamped down by tiny pincers connected to the arm of an apparatus, and a set of small knives (I recognize as tools called scalpels) were laid out next to him.

"Whaddahell are you gonna do to him?!" I shouted angrily.

I stumbled towards Small Cap to free him from the pincers, and was able to free his legs, but my arms were forced backwards and held captive by Leinard when I went to scoop him up.

"Small Cap - wake up!" I shouted desperately to jostle the spider out of his unconscious state.

My heart picked up in beat when his legs twitched to life. I heard his voice groan inside my head.

_"Free-nd? Wher..."_ His voice trailed off when he saw the terrifying form of a man looming over him.

"Amazing!" The mad doctor squealed with delight as he closely examined Small Cap's return to consciousness with a scalpel posed for cutting in his trembling hands.

_"Ugh!"_ Small Cap shrieked with fright and took the mental order I gave him to run and hide.

His small body scrambled into action, running blindly across the bulky equipment to find a way off the bench. The mad doctor chased him around the bench; he was a surprisingly fast mover.

"To the left! The right!" I shouted out my assistance and attempted to bite off the hand that Leinard had cupped over my mouth to shut me up.

His other hand kept a firm grip around my arms to hold me back from going to Small Cap's aid.

I sighed with relief when Small Cap was able to leap off the bench and scurry into a tight crevice between the wall and a glass cabinet. He'd be safe for now.

"Boo." Samuel pouted, childishly, with disappointment.

He came at me with a threatening look in his eyes and the scalpel raised and ready to attack my face.

Bring it. I'll bite his nose off and smash his head with my own to ensure Small Cap's safety.

He surprised me when his mood and attitude became clinical again.

He placed the scalpel back in the pile with the others, pulled out a stool that had been hiding under the bench and took a seat. His eyes scanned my body before he spoke again.

"Interesting friendship."

"Doctor Mercer." Leinard prompted the man.

"Well." Samuel sighed as he stood up.

He grabbed a needle, which formed the head of a clear tube container holding strange liquid.

I yelped when he stabbed me with the needle and pushed on the tube's base, so all the liquid drained out, and into my arm. Tears welled in my eyes from the instant pain I had felt.

The needle-tube thing was pulled out of my arm and tossed aside once it was emptied.

Samuel slapped a wet patch over the puncture wound the needle had created.

"Ouch!" I involuntarily let out.

"That completes quarantine. You'll be able to move him out of the infirmary ward," he advised.

Leinard dropped his hold on my arms and faced me with a choice.

"From this point on, you are to live by one of two choices."

I felt queasy at the thought of the two choices. It was obvious I would accept choice number one since the other saw myself no different to a prisoner and with little opportunity to find my brothers.

"Fine. I am Famine from Gat Shiem and my friend, whom your kind doctor was about to cut apart, is Small Cap. We place ourselves in your care." I reintroduced myself to Leinard with a formal bow.

It seemed to earn a smile from him. Albeit for a split-second.

Upon hearing his name, I saw Small Cap emerge from the crevice. He ran up my arm and into my pocket before the men had a chance to recapture him.

"You'll obey the instructions of my captain and his squad's sergeant." Leinard's voice assumed a serious and threatening tone to his next words.

"If you so much as attempt to escape or break order within the squad, I'll not hesitate to send the spider to our kind doctor for dissection, and for you to helplessly watch as he cuts away his legs, piece by piece, alive."

I nodded with understanding and felt Small Cap's body shiver. It was clear he understood this as well.

I followed Leinard out of the examination room and into a white corridor that held signs of natural light.

I invited Taku to Atelier's workshop and received Wisteria Peach Petals from him. As the item provider, Taku watched me from the side.
I haven't told Taku about it, but for mixing the Revival Medicine, there were other materials than Wisteria Peach Petals.
Herbs that are the base of every potion, the Spirit Grass that's used for MP Potions. Also, the Water of Life that's used in various ways in crafting.
After knowing the combination of the materials, there was a possibility of reproducing the recipe from that. That's why I didn't tell Taku any details and have proceeded with the preparations alone.
With this, no matter the procedure I'll be able to make the Revival Medicine. The work from now on is to explore it blindly.
"Well, I'll just try like usual."
"Sure, it's in your hands."
First, I mixed the same amount of Potion, MP Potion and Water of Life together. With that, I created a pale green liquid inside of which I mixed in the peach-coloured petals. The petals have dissolved in the light green liquid over time and in the end, the liquid changed its colour to pink.

I heaved a sigh at the result. In order to determine what was wrong I considered what effect each material granted the potion and wrote a crafting procedure I thought of on a note.
The effect difference between the basic Potion's that was made with a skill and a high-quality Potion made manually.
The effect difference between Potion, High Potion and a Concentrated Potion.
The effect difference depending on the Potion and MP Potion ratio.
What happens when Water of Life is used on a Potion.
In case it was subjected to concentration, the difference depending on when was it done.
First, I changed ratio of each medicine to create a different mixture, on each try there was a difference in the shade of green.
I dropped a petal into a beaker with each mixture one by one and mixed it in, dissolving it.
Meanwhile, Taku looked around the Atelier interested, glaring at the tools he doesn't normally see.
Starting with concentrator and grinding machine, through multiple Synthesis Kit magic circles, the furnishings and to the Making Box. In the corner of the workshop part, were hanging herbs for drying and a portable furnace in the corner.
As I stared sideways towards Taku who acted like that, I summarized the results I got from each mixture in the notebook.
Depending on the mixture, some liquids have reacted by turning vividly pink immediately and there were ones that have turned pale over time as the petal dissolved. There were also ones that completely lost their colour.
The pale ones have shown themselves to be complete as Degraded Revival Medicine, the ones that turned vivid were complete Revival Medicine.
Judging by these results, thinking of the impact it has on the mixing
"For highly effective Revival Medicinethe high quality potions are not essential. Water of Life's usage is mandatory. If the potion already uses Water of Life, there is no need to add it during the mixture's production. For highly effective ratio I need three High
Potions to one MP Potion. The concentration is to be done after mixing the solution. ...something like that."
"Yun, you can tell that much?"
"It's the ratio I've gotten as a result but only in case the conditions are the same as with everything else. Still, most likely a more detailed ratio might be possible."
After saying so, I started making a mixture under the best conditions I knew with the remaining petals.
I carefully measured the quantity, since I was using the potions I have prepared beforehand there was no strange failures.
But, in this case what was quite painful, was making the concentrated potion. Or rather, making the concentrated mixture.
I put the mixture of the High Potions and MP Potions into the concentrator, concentrating it down ten times which increased the costs tenfold. Moreover, the mixture's name was Concentrated High Potion, it had no MP recovery effect and its HP recovery effect was inferior as compared to the one before concentration. It was a mere intermediate product in a complete recipe.
Then, I dropped a petal into that vivid dark green concentrated mixture. The petal melted the moment it touched the liquid and a pink colour spread throughout it. Then I slowly refilled the potion bottle, before showing it to Taku.

"Ohh?!! Finally, a Revival Medicine! A complete Revival Medicine was made!"
"The ones I made earlier are mostly failures or Degraded Revival Medicine. I made one more, but it has quite low amount recovered."
Looking sideways as Taku rejoiced staring at the Revival Medicine, I prepared the rest of the medicine.
"From the ten petals used to search for the Revival Medicine recipe, two are complete for now. Four more have become Degraded Revival Medicine and the rest was failures."
"Thanks, Yun. With this my preparations for crafter's PVP event are complete. Come to think of it, we haven't talked about the payment, have we."
Eh? Didn't we? I recalled the conversation I had with Taku and while certainly I was asked to prepare Revival Medicine, we didn't talk about payment. Well, I was able to do some Mixing with expensive materials, so I got a big reward in the Sense experience. Moreover, getting multiple Mixing recipes for Revival Medicine was a reward by itself. That's why I didn't think of asking for anything else.
"I don't mind, the experience I got is good enough as payment..."
"That'd be working for free. While it might be a reason for a discount, it's not a reason not to get any payment. That's why"
While saying so, Taku passed about half of the Revival Medicine to me and forced 500kG on me by using the item trade function.
One high quality Revival Medicine, one normal Revival Medicine and four Degraded Revival Medicines.
"That's shrewd. You took the highly effective ones for yourself, leaving the failures and ones with weak effect to me. Do you really need six highly-effective Revival Medicines?"
"I'm in the vanguard so I need the ones with high recovery amount, otherwise I'd retire immediately after revival if I receive any damage."
In that respect, I'm a rearguard, an archer. It was convincing considering the fact I don't take much damage. Moreover, as my childhood friend Taku knew I wouldn't agree on taking any more.
"Speaking of which, it seems like there was a declaration of Guild Solicitation Discontinuation, aren't you going to go outside now?"
"Even if it stopped it doesn't mean I have to immediately go outside. I've got enough of what I need."
After finishing Taku's request, I took out tea cups and started preparing tea. We moved from the workshop part to the store part and started drinking tea, sitting face to face.

Well, speaking of what was done, as a protest the crafters have ceased to sell anything to them. The fact I have banned maliciously-soliciting guilds from entering Atelier has sparked the other crafters to do the same.
A number of guilds was unable to secure weapon maintenance and consumables, dissolving naturally or have lowered their heads apologizing. Is what I heard.
Cloude spread information and had spread the fear of turning the crafters into enemies.
There were a few stronger guilds and guilds that have crafters remaining, but they aren't in the best state and no longer perform any solicitation.
It seemed like they also had players targeting the consumables in dungeon treasure chests.
In a time like this the resale guilds would be able to earn a lot, but like a ship sinking, they felt it wasn't enough and have come into an agreement with Cloude behind the scenes.

I know nothing. Sooner or later it would have become a problem anyway. I held out freshly prepared tea to Taku and drank my own from the cup.
"That's right! How about we go and eat something to celebrate the ending of your disappearance and completion of the Revival Medicine?"
"Then it's your treat, Taku. It'll be additional payment for the Revival Medicine."
"Roger that. So, where do we go?"
I've said that as a joke, but he easily agreed on it. What should I extort out of Taku who's pretty rich in the game... I pondered.
"How about we go to Cloude's Commonest Caf & Clothier? I want to eat some cake."
"Let's go right away!"
With that said, Taku drank all the prepared tea at once and stood up. There's no need to hurry so much, while thinking so I drank the tea to match Taku's pace and ended up burning my tongue.
I left the Atelier and spoke as I walked.
"You've gathered the Revival Medicine for PVP, right? Taku, you're going to win that?"'
I asked what I was curious about, Revival Medicine gave the user a big advantage. I wondered how far could he get if he used that. When I asked wondering about that, he shook his head slightly.
"I wonder about that. I might retire early."
"...then, isn't it meaningless for me to prepare the Revival Medicine?"
"It can't be helped, victory depends on the luck of the day. When I stand up, there's a possibility of receiving a barrage of hits. Well, it's just one of measures for survival."

How about refreshing lemon tea today, I wondered. Since there was a lemon-flavoured cheese cake, I picked a lemon-based combination. At the same time, for Zakuro and Ryui I ordered some cream puffs for take-away.
Before taking the cake set for eating in the store, I took the cream puffs for take-away and then I carried the cake and tea on a tray towards Taku.
"Welcome back, but Yun... shouldn't a clerk carry it here?"
"Hm? It seemed busy so I carried it myself. This way's faster, right?"
The Commonest's clerk and waitress players hesitated a little, but since I was Cloude's acquaintance my suggestion was passed.

At first, we have stood up while still clutching our forks and froze, but one of the mobs that wasn't defeated had come flying at us on the open terrace.
"Hey, you serious?!"
"Get back, Yun!"
Taku strongly pushed me away at the same time touching my chest, making me fall back. Hey, where are you touching.
"HaaaSonic Edge!"
And Taku who had pulled out two long swords, retracted them and then swung in order to take on the insect mob.
The two swords have shone in matching yellow light, creating a huge vacuum wave, smacking the flying mob directly.
The insect-type mob couldn't escape in mid-air and was subjected to large damage from the front, it hit the table and its body changed into particles of light, disappearing.
"Ah..."
In this situation where the insect mob was suddenly defeated, I fell on my butt and was looking upwards.
"You okay, Yun?"
I wanted to take Taku's outstretched hand, but realized I still had fork in my own. Feeling awkward I outstretched my left hand and was pulled up by Taku.
And what has come into my sight, was the miserable stateof my cake.
Seeing the crushed and scattered on the table cake and lemon tea, my spirit has plummeted.
"Ahh, it's gone to waste."
"...my cake."
Fortunately, the cream puffs in the inventory weren't damaged, but I was really looking forward to the cake.
At that time, a loud clattering footsteps have approached the caf from the other side of the road.
"What's this, what happened. It seems like part of the terrace is broken..."
"Kurocchi, sorry! An item went off! Did anyone take damage?!"
The woodworker Lyly had come flying from the Lyly's Woodworking Store on the other side of the street. He was holding knives in both his hands, his appearance suggested he was fighting a moment ago.

The owner of the caf and a tailor, Cloude had checked on the damage dealt by the black insect-type mobs.

I combined it with sweet milk tea, I ate while sipping the tea for taste.

It was delicious, but I still had tears in my eyes out of the lingering attachment to the dropped cake.
"That's right, Lyly. Explain, how did the accident occur?"
While I ate the cake in the middle of sadness, Lyly provided an explanation for the accident.
"Um, I was performing an experiment at my place before the event starts, by using the Insect Repelling Incense Yuncchi made. I failed to confirm the range and they escaped..."
"Haa, that sounds unlucky, but I get it. I'll be going back to the back of the store."
Understanding the situation, Cloude drank the coffee that was just served and stood up. Then, as if he recalled something, he called out.
"The preparations for the Crafting Guild-sponsored event are mostly complete. Look forward to it."
Seeing Cloude's wink as he was leaving made me half expectant and half anxious considering the accidental outburst earlier.
The event will be carried out during the two days of this weekend.
I don't know how do Taku and Myu with others plan to spend it, but I intend to spend it relaxedly.

Yun is a novice MMO player who equipped only unpopular skills labelled as garbage. However, soon after the official launch of the game, the NPC stopped to sell Recovery Potion. Everyone finally started to notice the importance of Support Magic and Items. And that spells trouble for Yun as well as all the support-based players. Keeley was still sulking when Aaron came home, refusing to return his kiss.
"What's wrong with you?" he asked with a frown.
"Ask your fan club," she sniffed. "I can't even go downstairs to get eggs without people thinking they have the right to ask me personal questions. It's all your fault."
He sighed and leaned against the kitchen counter. "I thought this might happen. They'll lose interest eventually."
"Not soon enough! It's already been a week! How much longer do I have to wait before I can go outside normally?!"
"What can I do to make you feel better?"
Her anger fizzled slightly. Why did he always have to be nice to her when she was mad at him? It made it difficult to maintain her anger.  
"Find whoever leaked my information so I can kick them in the shin," Keeley mumbled with downcast eyes.
Her embarrassment at admitting such a thing aloud increased when Aaron started laughing. He wrapped his arms around her from behind and kissed her cheek. "You know, I can actually do that if you're serious. I do have a hacker at my disposal."
She had been mostly kidding but now that she knew it was possible it was actually quite tempting. She was about to say so when Alice came back upstairs, brimming with excitement.
"Keeley, I got the job!"
Well, at least there was one bit of good news. That happened surprisingly fast. Most job hunts took a minimum of a month as far as she had seen.
"That's great! Congratulations!"
"I couldn't have done it without you," she said with a smile.
Keeley felt slightly proud of herself. Her resume polishing and interview coaching skills had definitely played a part in Alice's speedy success.
"When do you start?" she asked, curious how soon she would be earning a paycheck.
"They want me to start immediately! My first day will be Monday and they'll be training me to lead tours in French at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island."
It definitely wasn't the sort of job she would imagine a former heiress doing but at the very least she would be making a thousand something dollars a month. It should be enough to cover a tiny apartment's rent outside of Manhattan.  
She had some savings to help with things like food and eventually, once the divorce finalized, she would be receiving some sort of alimony. Alice would be just fine if she was frugal.
Keeley would help her start apartment hunting first thing in the morning. The sooner she could get out of their hair (as Aaron would describe it) the better.
"That's great," she said honestly. "As long as you keep your energy up and try to be as friendly as possible I'm sure you'll be fine."
Alice nodded. "That's what the hiring manager said. Aaron, aren't you going to say anything?"
"What do you want me to say? Keeley already congratulated you."
She shook her head at him. "You're hopeless. I don't even know why she likes you."
"Sometimes I wonder the same thing," Keeley admitted with a laugh, making her husband pout. She patted his arm to make him feel better and he brightened almost instantly.
She wanted to suggest they go out to dinner to celebrate but she wasn't in the mood to risk running into more of the curious horde today. Maybe she could bake a cake. There was a recipe for chocolate lava cake she had wanted to try for a while but hadn't had a proper excuse to make it.
As she went off to prepare dinner and get started on that cake, Aaron's phone rang in the other room. She couldn't hear what he was saying because she was chatting with Alice more about her new job but when he came back there was a grim expression on his face.
"Gray called. He wants to go to dinner tomorrow night."
"Can I come?" Alice asked slightly hesitantly, remembering how tetchy the Hales had been the last time Gray was brought up.
"If you must," Aaron said grumpily before turning around and picking up both of the babies to calm himself down.
Keeley was a bit grumpy herself. Did she really not care about their warnings? Whatever, it wasn't her problem anymore. Alice was a grown woman and she was free to get involved with a psychopath if that was what she truly wanted.
Her smile became a bit stiff as she continued her chat amid the dinner and dessert preparations. When the food was finally done, Aaron's mood seemed to have lifted slightly. He did always seem to enjoy eating what she cooked.
She never quite understood it since he was normally such a picky eater. Love can do funny things to people.
 "What are the cakes for?" Alice asked. Lava cake didn't exactly go with fried rice.
"To celebrate your new job, of course!"
Aaron, normally a proponent and dinner and desert themes matching, didn't have a single thing to say other than that the cake was delicious. All traces of his earlier bad mood were completely gone.
"I haven't had lava cake in years," he said happily. "It was at a steakhouse and was delicious but yours is way better."
Keeley raised an eyebrow. Was this his usual bias or was it because she used a recipe from a famous chef on the Food Network?
She tried a bite and moaned in appreciation. The cake was indeed heavenly. Maybe he wasn't biased this time.
She had been trying new dessert recipes more and more lately while the twins were asleep because she had nothing better to do. Some were better than others but she was working her way through trying to find the best ones. This was definitely a winner.
If not for the fact that she couldn't even get groceries without causing a fuss, Keeley would have felt like any other stay-at-home mom. For the sake of her sanity, she really hoped people lost interest soon. She really wasn't interesting enough to warrant all of this.


Keeley, a simple plain Jane, hits the jackpot.  [No, she did not win the lottery!]  At least that's what she thinks when she marries the most eligible bachelor in New York City: Aaron, a wealthy cold-hearted heartthrob and Tycoon.

Feng Shengyang motioned to her that she didn't need to get in the car as he got out of the car as well, pointing to a shop upstairs.
Mu Xiaoxiao saw that it was a high-end club, so she followed him there.

Mu Xiaoxiao didn't feel a bit uncomfortable. She took a seat, opened her bag, and took out the strawberry cake.
Time to eat!
Feng Shengyang walked over and sat down opposite her, staring at her amusingly. "Do you girls like to eat cakes that much?"
Mu Xiaoxiao passed another matcha cake to him and asked, "Do you guys hate sweet stuff so much? Why?"
However, at the mention of strawberry cakes, she was reminded of someone.
Lu Yichen.
He was the one out of all the boys she knew who had the same taste as her.
Mu Xiaoxiao propped up her chin and picked up the strawberry on the cake with a fork. As she ate, she wondered how Lu Yichen and her mother were doing and whether the results for her mother's condition were out.
Then, she remembered that she had forgotten something.
She was going to call Lu Yichen last night to see if she could tell Qiqing about his matter lest Qiqing worry herself to death over him.
But she had had too much fun playing the game with Song Shijun last night that she forgot about it.
Looking at the time now, it appeared to be night time in America. It wasn't a good time to call him.
It seemed that she should wait to call him at night.
Seeing that she was apparently lost in her thoughts, Feng Shengyang's eyes narrowed discontentedly.
There hadn't been a girl who was so inattentive when hanging out with him.
With such a handsome guy right in front of her, was she just going to remain so aloof?
Feng Shengyang's self-confidence was dealt quite a blow.
Feng Shengyang tapped his fingers on the table as he gazed deeply at her little face.

Feng Shengyang stood up, glanced at Mu Xiaoxiao, and tapped his knuckles on the table.
The sound brought Mu Xiaoxiao back to her senses. "What's the matter?"
"Are you playing?" He pointed to the billiard table.
"You play then. I'll eat." Mu Xiaoxiao continued to eat her strawberry cake. She was not going to divert her attention away from her strawberry cake for the time being.
"Okay." Feng Shengyang didn't force her. Then he took off his cap and hood, revealing his handsome face.
One of the guys passed him his personal cue stick.
The other guy went to set up the billiards table.
Mu Xiaoxiao darted a glance at them and realized that he was going to play snooker, which used 22 balls and was more difficult than other billiard games.
It seemed that this guy was good at this.
Sure enough, Feng Shengyang made the break and scattered the balls. Then came time for him to perform as he dashingly potted one in.


As childhood sweethearts, they were made to engage under the manipulations of their families. It involved having to to live in the same room and sleep together.
