This set the stage for the press reviews of "Like Crazy". The reviews in The New York Times and Variety were endorsed by a number of fellow critics.
 
Sundance's official review was stark in its love for the production, "The actors are neatly dressed, but the rest of the film is so naked, so unabashedly true to love, that the romance makes other works in the genre seem so superficial, so uninteresting, so dull."
 
This is the official affirmation from the official venue magazine, and not only that, the official Sundance review also gave it a perfect score of one hundred, which is the first full score given by the official since the opening of this year's Sundance.
