CHIMMY SECRET DIARY IS SOMETHING THAT CHIMMY WROTE IN HIS/HER DIARY

This is a story from 'Dream Diary' of young man who is [Ultimate Macaulay]; Jasper C. Maker. AKA "Writer Psychosis". at complex the stories, it still his dreams.

A story about an unskilled cheating player that was transported into a different world.  It was his dream, but later realized that that when fantasy becomes reality it is not easy.

Roland climbed more than a dozen floors all at once. When he relaxed his muscles, he felt the intense soreness in his legs.
There were no elevators in this old building. Even if this was only a dream, Roland still felt fortunate that he did not appear on the top floor.
Undoubtedly, Zero must be the one that created this, but this would not only be the act of Zero. No one would retaliate against Roland by using this kind of method.
Why would she spend so much effort to create such a bizarre dream, just to let me witness her failure? This not only took away her memory as a pure witch but also turned her into a fragile middle schooler.
At that moment, many evil ideas flashed through Roland's mind.
With Zero's current status, she would not be able to fight back no matter what Roland did to her.
Would this count as retaliation?
It could be only said that at this moment, Zero indeed did something which created an irreversible twist of memory. However, the final result was something that was far from what she expected.
If this gigantic tube-shaped apartment was the honest reflection of Zero's memory, this was merely just an apartment.
Far away, there was a multitude of skyscrapers, swarms of cars and pedestrians on the street. Apparently this belonged to Roland's memory, a soul that came from the modern world.
Zero and those she engulfed appeared in this dream as modern people. This testified that her scheme was a failure.
That would be a more reasonable speculation.
"What about myself then?"
Roland was pondering this question as he slowly walked down the stairs.
He did not belong here, or at least, he did not belong to this loser tower. One obvious characteristic was that his memory remained intact, and he knew that this was a dream and that he could leave this place anytime he willed it.
Of course, next he had to make a more convenient falling tool, and then go back to the sofa to hit his head. This time Roland could still feel a slight pain which means that the authenticity of the dream could already compare to reality.
That being the case, which step can be done to a greater degree?
Is it encompassing or is it an empty shell?
...
Roland returned to room 0825 and once again examined the residence.
It had a standard layout of three bedrooms and one living room with no terrace. The three single rooms were Roland's bedroom, Zero's bedroom, and one storage room respectively. There were big objects in the storage room. For example, there was an old bicycle without wheels, a sewing machine, and a rusted iron gate. They would not even be worth any money for recycling.
Next, he walked to Zero's bedroom. There was a sign on the door that said, "No unauthorized entry".
Such a caveat was nothing in Roland's eyes.
He pushed open the door without hesitation. A slight but pleasant scent floated into his nose.
It was a tiny room with all the furniture neatly organized. All the blankets were folded, the desk was neat, and the floor was spotlessly clean.
Roland walked around. An anime diary on the corner of the desk soon caught his attention.
Has she the habit of keeping a diary?
This would be a great opportunity to learn about Zero's past experiences.
There was no emotional pressure on Roland in regards to taking a peek at a little girl's diary in a dream.
Roland picked up the pink book and found that there was a plastic lock on the side of the diary.
However, that would be not enough to stump Roland.
The plastic lock merely served as emotional comfort for kids. It would not actually prevent someone from peeping at the diary. Roland found two toothpicks, stuck the toothpicks into the keyhole and moved the toothpicks back and forth. He opened the plastic lock after only a few tries.
Roland flipped to the first page. The handwriting on the page seemed immature, but there were rarely any ink dots or whiteouts. Apparently, she was very serious when she wrote the diary.
"February 16th, due to the relocation of school, I've been sent to a house in an unfamiliar city. The house-owner is called Roland, a somewhat untidy uncle. He works at a bar and always sleeps during the day, leaves the house at night, and comes back very late at night. He always has this disgusting smell of alcohol on him." "I don't really want to live here. But my family said that he only asks the minimum rent and provides meals. My family will send me to the countryside if I make another complaint about this house."
"What kind of absurd setting is this?" Roland could not help but seethe. He went to a bar only a few times in his life, not to mention working at a bar. Despite such absurdness, the dream itself was an unreasonable place that often connected numerous unrelated fragments, and no one would notice any difference in the dream.
With that thought, Roland did not feel like fretting over this dream anymore.
"February 27th, school has started. Uncle Roland seems to have lost his job. He looks very depraved. Dinner yesterday was a cup noodle that I bought."
"March 2nd, I've spent all my allowance buying cup noodles recently. This isn't a good sign. The magazine said that at age 12, the body is developing and so there needs to be enough nutrition for growth. I have to talk to uncle. If he beats me up then, I, I'll endure a bit more. I'd rather not go to the countryside."
"March 3rd, he agreed with my suggestion. That's great! Every month he would give me living expenses to buy fresh food. But if I'm not in school, I'll be responsible for making the meals. Who is taking care of whom? I feel like he should give me a salary for this. Never mind, I always do the chores back at home too. I'm used to it."
"June 8th, it has been three months since I arrived in the new city. I've made lots of friends. I have the best grades in my class. Although Uncle Roland is untidy and always seems careless, he's actually not a bad guy. At least he doesn't beat me. The only thing is that he still hasn't found a job yet. Looks like he's giving up soon and that isn't a good sign. We wouldn't be able to survive just depending on the living expense that Uncle Roland's family sends to him. I have to help him."
"June 22nd, umm... It's so difficult to make money. I sold some anime drawings to students in tutoring class and only got 15 yuan. That isn't even enough to buy two days of food. Am I too careless when I speak to uncle? In the end, he's still an adult. I feel like I've been impolite, but I just couldn't control myself. Have I reached my rebellious phase?"
"June 25th, Jesus Christ! I was so frightened today. I saw that Uncle Roland fell from a chair. Good thing that there was a sofa beneath him. Putting the chair that high, was he committing suicide? This was so frustrating. What if he injured himself? That would make him less likely to get a job! Whatever, tomorrow I'll ask him what happened."
Besides the trivial details, Roland spent only half an hour to finish the whole diary. He now understood the reason that Zero had been living with him.
The dream made up backgrounds for everyone that matched with his or her modern identity. This was undoubtedly a very complex structure. He would not be able to accomplish this just by using his brain. No wonder he was in a coma for almost two months after the soul dual.
He put the diary back to the original place. Roland noticed something that made dazed him for a moment.
There was a stack of books next to the desk. It seemed to be that little girl's textbooks.
Roland swallowed and moved all the textbooks to him.
The first textbook was a literature book and the second was a social science textbook. When Roland saw the third textbook, he was out of breath for a moment.
It was an 8th-grade chemistry textbook.
Its content was simple with only a few words. The majority of the book was pictures. From a glance, it almost looked like the book I Wonder Why. When Roland flipped to the last page, a folded long page fell out.
Roland flattened the page, a complete periodic table of elements appeared before his eyes.

Shangxin wasn't an exception either.
Furthermore, she was much luckier than the others as she had already known who she had liked from a young age.
She could even grow up with him.
When she realized that she wanted to spend her entire life with this particular person, the first thing that she had thought of was their wedding.
At that time, she dared not tell Tang Yuansi that she liked him.
She would secretly pen down her feelings in her diary.
That entire diary was all about him.
Even though she had complained about him frequently in the diary, her deep love for him showed very clearly between her words. 
Just like her stage name, Shangxin.
It meant that you are the only one in my heart.
However, she had never expected that he would have discovered the diary that kept the record of her adolescent romantic feelings…
"When did you see it? You actually read my diary in secret!" Shangxin exclaimed.
She did not know if she was angry or if she was shy.
The thought of her shameless days of secretly carrying a torch for him made her… so embarrassed to face the others!
She reached out for the wedding gown and was so nervous that she nearly tore the masterpiece to pieces.
When she realized her actions, she immediately released her grip.
She stood helplessly in front of him.
When Tang Yuansi realized that her hands were fidgeting nervously, he placed her hand into his palm and opened his mouth to explain. "There was a time when you fell asleep at your study desk. When I entered the room to hug you I discovered your diary by accident as you were resting your face on it." 
He knew that she liked him, but did she know about his feelings toward her?
Tang Yuansi had thought that she might not have known about it.
Otherwise, she would not be constantly complaining in her diary that he did not have any reactions despite her putting in so much effort.
Silly girl.
Even though he didn't like sweet food, he ate the chocolates that she had secretly stuffed into his bag.
When she insisted on having the second button of his shirt, he pretended not to notice and simply allowed her to secretly cut the button off the shirt of his school uniform.
She might not have known this, but she was feeling so guilty when she was stealing his button that she had snipped a hole in his shirt during the process.
He could not find another uniform to change into the next day. In the end, he wore a uniform with a hole in it and was punished by the teacher to stand throughout a lesson. 
It was the first time that the gifted student had been punished.
The worst thing was, not a single hint of joy that came from getting hold of his school uniform button could be detected in her diary entry that day. Instead, it was filled with tales about him getting punished.
He could still remember the exact words in the diary entry, "I had never expected that there would be a time when Brother Xiaosi was punished for not being obedient; I heard from his classmates that he was punished to stand throughout a lesson by the teacher. It's so regretful that I didn't get a chance to witness it personally, I should have skipped my class to go over and take a look…"
The person who had resulted in him getting punished was excited to see him receiving the punishment.
He could not smile at this at all.
However, what should he do?
He had set his mind on this young wife of his, and he must continue loving her through his tears.
However, she still did not realize that it wasn't just one-sided love from her side despite him doing so many things to indulge her.
Afterward, he would always look for opportunities to read her diary after she slept just to find out what nonsense she was thinking of everything.
This habit had continued until he read about her dream wedding and wedding gown which she had penned in her diary…
He had skipped grades and majored in finance because his father was a businessman.
However, he studied a minor in fashion design just so he could personally design her dream wedding gown for her.
He had personally designed this wedding gown for her 18th birthday and named it in her honor. He had wanted to gift it to her and ask if she was willing to be his bride…

She gasped as he lifted her hand that was on his right shoulder and twirled her around before pulling her closer again. His fingers brushed against her waist as he gave her another turn, bringing her back against his chest. She could feel his heartbeats that made her own heart race.

Leaning over her shoulder, he slowly whispered in her ear, "Is there anyone who can love you more than me?" 

"No." She placed her hands over his that rested on her stomach. Who could love her more than him? Nobody. 

"Whom do you love the most?" 

"You," she quickly replied, before she turned around to hug him.

Irene woke up with a jerk from the dream. She did not take more than a couple of seconds to know that it was just a dream. The dream that she needed to stop seeing. Her gaze that involuntarily went at the pizza box on the table reminded her that it was a new day and she was supposed to treat it in the same way. 

She could not be sitting at home, crying and weeping the whole day. She had to push herself to get moving. 

Opening the last drawer of her bedside table, she got her diary and pen out. 

'Date - 05-01-2015

Dearest, Irene's diary, she is sorry that she broke down in pieces yesterday. She didn't willingly do that though. She tried holding herself together but somehow she failed. She was already missing her loved ones whom she has lost... so when Ayden… with whom she had dreamt of spending the rest of her life… felt the need to test if she would leave him for someone better or not… she couldn't quite handle it. 

Ayden knew what kind of life Irene as a kid has had. 

Ayden knew how the accusing gazes of her classmates had shattered her time and again.

Ayden knew for how long she had longed for someone who could fill the void she had in her life. 

Ayden knew for how long she had waited for someone to just be truly affectionate toward her. 

Ayden knew how long it had taken her to get over the names people had called her. 

Ayden knew how awful she had felt when people had said that she wasn't trustworthy so when Ayden proved yesterday through his gesture that he didn't find her trustworthy either… it left her wondering… what the purpose of her life was. To pay for someone else's doing? If so, for how long?

Dearest, Irene's diary, she admits that… everything that she had left behind has come back to her… especially her insecurities. 

Dearest, Irene's diary, you know everything. Someone may believe her or not… she is just very glad to know that… you would always trust her.  

Dearest, Irene's diary, thank you for being with her all along. She couldn't have come this far without you. Know that she is always grateful to you. She loves you and she knows that you love her too and for you… she is going to fight. She is going to fight off her demons again. No matter how long it would take her, she is going to stay here to fight… fight until she wins. 

She will see you soon.

Putting back the cap of her pen, she shut her large purple diary. The one that she had gifted herself years ago. Its cover was adorned with a bunch of printed white stars. She still remembered it was her eleventh birthday when Melissa had taken her to buy herself the gift she wanted. 

Her eleven-year-old self didn't want anything on her birthday. Everything that could have made her smile on her birthday had gone too far from her to get and the rest… just did not matter but upon Melissa's insistence, she had laid her eyes upon that diary and Melissa had instantly picked it for her. 

Her lips broke into a bittersweet smile as she went down memory lane. 

She hadn't let that diary get away from her since then. 

That diary had embraced her with her flaws and never pushed her away. 

That diary had never accused her of anything.

That diary had just been kind. 

The diary had listened to everything she had to say. 

That diary had never turned her down. 

That diary had stayed with her and never left her. 

She put it back in its place, folded her duvet, made her bed and went straight to shower. By the time she returned, it was 6 in the morning. She had to reach her college by 11. She decided to go jogging. It had been quite long since she went. 

Apparently, Ayden believed that there were a lot of guys that got out in the morning, and it wasn't safe for her. She had asked him to join her instead but he had refused. After a lot of insistence from his side, she had finally given in. Even though she had felt awful in suppressing her love for jogging, she had brought herself to do that for him. 

Not anymore though. She pulled her hair in a bun, put on her maroon hoodie, pushed her phone in her pocket, took her water bottle along and stepped out. 

Several minutes later, she had crossed quite a lot of distance. Knowing that even after the long gap, she could still get far without feeling tired, was certainly a good feeling.

The road was quiet. Perhaps, it had lately become. She did not know. It had been long since she had been there early in the morning. The morning chills that went caressing her skin felt so good. 

She stopped for a while, only to raise her head above and watch the sunrise. Her heart instantly warmed up as she felt reconciled with herself. 

She had spent her nights texting and talking to Ayden and her mornings, sleeping because of staying up until late at night.

She stood there, enjoying the beauty of the calm morning before she resumed her jogging. She did not know what came over her and she decided to close her eyes and jog. She let her gaze scan the road ahead to see if there was any trace of any vehicle. She made up her mind to be slow and alert. 

As she began, she put blind trust in her skills. She knew that she knew how to be mindful and sense danger even with her closed eyes. 

She was going smoothly for a while until her leg collided with something and she fell on her knees. 

"Ah." She opened her eyes and tilted her head to realize it was a barricade she had collided with.

"Hey. You okay?"

She heard a male voice and found a guy approaching her. 

"Well, like you can see… not really." She looked at her scraped knees that had started to bleed, turning her white leggings red with the blood.

"Your eyes seem good to me but still you are here when there is a huge board that you are not supposed to be here. " 

As he came closer, his face became clearer. He had got that brown skin with amber eyes, along with tousled dark brown hair. Looking at his slim and muscular figure, one could assume that he had spent quite a lot of hours in the gym. 

"Excuse me?" She slightly frowned at his tone. It was unreasonably sarcastic. "I didn't see it."

"But if nobody is supposed to be here then what are you doing here?" She mentally patted herself for the good come back. 

"Well, I am standing unhurt here. I saw the board and I knew what I was signing up for. You are hurt because you did not know what you were signing up for."

Sometimes, it all narrows down to acceptance. 

Acceptance of your choices, and their repercussions. To heal, acceptance is important. 

Emotional scars hold the capacity to suffocate one to death. The invisible emotional scars... leave you desperate for help but quite rarely, they find a voice to actually step up and ask for the same.

“Out of everything, Ayden – out of everything – this was the most hurtful thing that you could do to me. You set up a guy to woo me to see if I’ll betray you for him or not? You… you made him act that ultra-rich way, didn’t you? You think so low of me, Ayden? So low? Three years. We have been together for three freaking years and yet?” Irene’s eyes began welling up with tears but she held them back with great difficulty.

“I am sorry. I know I have been a jerk in doing what I did. I accept it. I was insecure. You are,” his palm caressed her cheek, “so beautiful. You always were and I… an ugly overweight creature.” His gaze dropped to the ground. “I thought -”

“We are over.”

The next morning, I immediately went to the library and did some research. I read the diary with the desire to see a clue as to who wrote it.
In a torn corner I read the name Somnium. I went back to read the book that told me the words - someone watches over you every time you sleep. I found out that the author was the same person who wrote that diary - Somnium. I searched for the meaning of the word 'somnium' and there, I found out that it is a Latin word that means dream.
It all feels like a dream but why I had this feeling that someone is following me? Or is it my paranoia? I must throw away this notebook.
I came across a trash bag and put the diary inside. "It's too much for me to discover."
I thought it was the end of it but I was wrong. The nightmare just begins.

"Someone is watching over you every time you sleep."- Those words just never left my mind, it seemed like every time I remembered those words, it was as if someone was pulling me and taking me into a world, I was not familiar with.

Ever since that notebook was found, a lot has happened to me that I cannot explain. In my search for an answer, I met a mysterious woman. I thought it was a coincidence that we met but it was not. He follows me, watching my every move.

In my desire to get the answers, I seek her help, not knowing she has dark intention. Should I stay away from her because he is the one who brought me to my end situation? Or accept the quest to make our lives go back to normal.

I’m Kit, and I am just a student who loves to read. Because of that hobby, I went through an unusual experience that brought fear, anxiety, and danger into my life.

Binuksan ko ang libro.

Sa unang pahina nakasulat ang "Dear Diary" nang mabasa ko ito tsaka ko lang napagtanto na hindi pala ito libro kundi isang Diary.

Walang pag-aalinlangan ko itong sinara.

Alam kong wala akong karapatan na basahin ang laman nito.

Itinago ko ang libro at natulog.

Hanggang sa pagtulog ay binabagabag ako ng aking isip.

Gustong gusto kong basahin ang diary ngunit pinipigilan ito ng aking konsensya.

Tinakpan ko ng unan ang aking mukha at dun inantok.

"Wag! wag nyo po akong papatayin pakiusap. Marami pa akong pangarap sa buhay na gustong makamit.Wag! Wag! Pakiusap!"

Isang babae ang sumisigaw sa isang madilim na gusali.
Nakagapos ang mga paa't kamay nito.

Sa kabilang dako naroon ang isang lalaking may edad na.

May dala itong baril na nakatutok sa babae.

"Wag po pakiusap wag mo akong patayin." pagmamakaawa ng babae at naglupasay sa malamig at maalikabok na sahig at umiyak ng umiyak.

Hindi nagpatinag ang lalaki at itinutok muli ang baril na hawak.
Unti unti nitong kinalabit ang baril

"Pasensya na trabaho lang."

Isang nakakabinging ingay ang lumabas at sa isang iglap tumumba ang katawan ng babae sa sahig.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."
Hangos hangos akong napabangon sa aking higaan.

Umaagos ang malagkit na pawis mula sa aking mukha.

Pumunta ako sa kusina para kumuha ng tubig.

"Sino sila at bakit sila nasa panaginip ko?"

Nasa kalagitnaan ako ng pagbabalik tanaw sa mga napaginipan ko kagabi ng bigla kong narinig ang pangalan ko.
Nagulat ako nang guro ko pala ang tumatawag sakin.

"Are you with us Mr. Manuel?"
tanong nya.

"S-orry Ma'am, may iniisip lang ako."

"What a lame excuse." naiiling na sabi nito habang nakapamewang sa harapan ko.

Tumawa ang lahat ng kaklase ko.

"S-sorry po Mrs. Apostol, ano nga po uli yung tanong?"

"As I said give me one difference between Dream & Nightmare."

Nanginginig man sa kaba ay agad kong sinagot ang tanong.

"Dream are visions during sleep, while Nightmare are the disturbance of dream creating unusual visions during sleep."

"Well said Mr. Manuel you may take your sit."

Napahinga ako ng malalim at parang nabunutan ng tinik. 

Mabuti nalang at nasagot ko ng maayos.

Nasa English Class ako sa mga oras na ito at ang umuukupa lang ng isip ko ay ang bangungot na naranasan ko kagabi.

"Okay class dismissed."

Di ko namamalayan na tapos na pala ang klase.

Agad akong lumabas at pumunta agad sa cafeteria.

Puno na ang cafeteria ng pagpunta ko roon.

Bumili ako ng ulam at agad tumungo sa rooftop ng school.

"Dating gawi." bulong ko sa sarili ko.

Pumunta ako sa sulok at inumpisahang kainin ang aking pananghalian.

Naaalala ko na naman ang araw kung kelan ko siya nakilala.

Nasa kalagitnaan ako ng pagbabalik tanaw ng makita ko ang isa pang kutsara na kasalukuyang nakikisalo sa aking tupperware.

Nagulat ako ng makita kung sino ito.

"Hoy! pagkain ko yan!"

Tuloy lang siya sa pagsubo nang bigla itong mapasinghap at nabilaukan.

"T-tubig p-pengeng tubig!"

Agad ko namang inabot sa kanya ang baon kong tubig.

"Salamat." sabi nito at saka tinuloy ang pagkain sa baon ko.

Naiiling ko lang syang pinanood habang kumakain.

"Di halatang gutom ka."
natatawa kong tugon na sya namang nagpatigil sa kanya sa pagnguya at napatingin ng masama sakin.

"Ikaw na nga tong halos umubos ng baon ko tapos ikaw pa tong galit." turan ko  sa kanya.

"May sinabi ba kong galit ako?"
natatawang sagot nito.

"Salamat sa baon mo."
nakangiti nitong dugtong.

"Walang anuman."
wala sa sarili kong sagot.

Naalala ko uli ang nangyari nung isang araw.

"Nga pala naiwan mo yung Diary mo nung isang araw."

"H-hindi." nauutal kong sagot

"Actually nabuklat ko yung unang pahina."

"So nabasa mo nga? singhal nito.

"Mali ka ng iniisip nabasa ko lang ang unang linya yung Dear Diary pagkakita ko nun agad ko itong isinara." paliwanag ko.

"Sigurado ka?"

"Oo naman bakit anong akala mo sakin privacy invader?"

"Pasensya na sadyang napakapersonal lang talaga ang mga laman nito."

"Nagmamadali ka kasi ng araw na yun e ibabalik ko sana sayo pero ni hindi ko man lang alam kung saan ka nakatira. Saan ka nga ba nakatira?"

"Ah sa.....sa dulo ng village."

"Saang village?"

"Sa Miracle Village."

"Teka sa village na yun din kami nakatira."

"Oh? small world." manghang tugon nito.

"Kaya pala lagi kitang nakikita mula noon pa man." halos pabulong kong sabi.

"Ang sabi ko sadyang lampa ka lang talaga."
