Hearing Teacher Lee's words, Qiao Nan wanted to cheer. "Since Teacher Lee made this arrangement, I will definitely listen to Teacher Lee." 
"You and your sweet tongue, alright, go back. Although you don't have to participate in the training, you should also make some preparations." Teacher Lee was pleased by Qiao Nan's words. 
"Teacher Lee, don't worry, I will definitely be well prepared."
When Qiao Nan was back, Zhao Yu glanced at her a few times.
As the Chinese Representative, Zhao Yu had seen Qiao Nan's essay more than once, so she was aware of the standard of Qiao Nan's essays.
If Qiao Nan also took part in this essay competition, it would be difficult for her to win, not to mention to be one of the five participants.
At the school's preliminary round of selection, Zhao Yu was relieved that she did not see Qiao Nan. It turned out that Qiao Nan had declined to participate in the essay writing competition this time. That would be great!
Zhao Yu's essay writing skills were of some standard. Indeed, she managed to grab one out of the five places for the competition.
During training, Zhao Yu realized that there were only four attendees although there were a total of five participants.
For the sake of doing well during the essay writing competition, Zhao did not inquire further. She was motivated and focused on competing with herself, so that she could produce good essays and win a prize. 
"Is this woman sick?" Every time Zhao Yu passed by Qiao Nan, she looked like an arrogant rooster who could not wait to lift its tail to the sky. Zhu Baoguo was angered by this. "What does she mean by this?"
"What can she mean, she is happy that she can participate in the essay writing competition." Qiao Nan did not have a care, she would do whatever she needed to do.
Qiao Nan had long heard the words spread by those who were on close terms with Zhao Yu.
They were saying that it was useless that Qiao Nan had good grades as she could not even participate in the essay writing competition. In the critical times, the class still had to depend on Zhao Yu to do them proud for the Chinese Language. 
"What about you, you're not participating?" Zhu Baoguo was not pleased with Zhao Yu's attitude. It was just an essay writing competition. "If you wish to participate, I can help you think of a way. I can ensure that the five places are changed to six."
"No need, I have a place. I am also participating." Qiao Nan shook her head.
"You too? How come I don't know, I didn't see you attending the training?" Zhu Baoguo raised his eyebrows. His sister was so capable and did not even need his help. 
"Teacher Lee specially granted me an exception for this, but please don't tell anyone about this." Qiao Nan also knew that this matter was confidential.
Although this matter was decided by Teacher Lee and had nothing to do with her, it was not good for others to know about it.
"Cow." Zhu Baoguo also lifted his chin, why was Zhao Yu was acting like a bird? After all, his sister took one of the five places without even the need to take the preliminary test or attend the training.
"Yes." Qiao Nan nodded her head, she believed that Zhu Baoguo would not say this to others, there was no point in doing so.
Zhu Baoguo would not say, but there were a number of classmates around them. Although the voices of the two of them were not very loud, someone vaguely heard that Qiao Nan would also be participating in this essay competition.

"What's the hurry, even if Teacher Lee clarified, Qiao Nan would also lose her face. Now, the whole secondary three students already knew that Qiao Nan would participate in the essay writing competition. If Teacher Lee clarify now, won't Qiao Nan also lose her face? Chapter 3. Essay competition (1)

"We are going to be have a essay competition in our school next week."

When Shiki sensei announced that, the students started murmuring among themselves.

"I haven't wrote a essay for years."

"I wonder if there would be some sort of prize."

"I hope it isn't mandatory to enter. I really suck at essays."

"Can't we have a video game competition or something?"

As the students were murmuring, Shiki sensei sighed and said.

"Listen to the whole announcement, first. The contest will be mandatory for all and there would be one winner for every class and the winner for every class will compete against each other for the prize money."

"I wonder how much is the prize money?"

"It's going to be a hassle if you want to win."

"Yeah, the winner would be probably from a literature club or a book club."

"Do those kind of clubs even exist?"

"Silent!!"

With Shiki sensei shout, the students again fell into a silence. Shiki sensei again sighed heavily and said.

"I am not finished yet. The competition will be held on Friday next week and there would be no classes that day. So, you could leave after submitting your essay."

With that the students all burst into excitement. They were all troubled by the pressure of exams and hearing that, they can leave early flushed them with excitement. 

There were many students who were already making plans like going to karaoke or a movie. The essay competition had given them a opportunity to relax for a bit.

As Ren was watching the class filled with excitement, Kei tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey, Ren what do you think about that?"

"About what?"

"Of course, the essay competition. Do you also want to finish early and hang out like them?"

Kei said as he pointed towards the group of kids happily making plans. 

"I don't know. What about you?"

"I will probably write it till the end."

"Huh, you aren't the type to write till the end. Instead of writing, you will probably read a light novel or something."

Ren said as he stared at Kei confusingly. He knew that Kei wasn't the type to take things seriously. The only things he take seriously are light novels, mangas and anime.

"Well, I thought I will give writing a chance."

"You. Writing?"

"Yeah, it's seems fun. I thought I will take something seriously for once."

"You wanted to take something seriously and you choosed writing."

"Yeah."

Ren didn't knew what to think of it. Kei was taking interest in writing suddenly. He was confused by this but he didn't try to ask him the reason behind this. Ren knew that everyone has their own secrets.

"You are acting weirdly these days."

When Ren heard Kei's words, he was somewhat startled. The last thing he want was anyone finding about his identity.

"....You think so?"

Kei nodded his head at Ren's words and said.

"Yeah, you have been slightly weird these days. It's like you got somewhat mature suddenly."

"Maybe, it's just your imagination."

Kei shook his head at Ren's words and said.

"No, it isn't my imagination. You are suddenly taking interest in books. Previously, you only read some light novels but now, I see you reading those literature books everytime. You even had a smiling expression reading those."

"I have just taken a sudden interest in books."

"I think it's more than just a sudden interest. Are you thinking of going to a literary college or something."

"Literary college?"

Hearing the word literary college, Ren suddenly thought of the time when he used to study in the literary college.

It was also the time when his first book was released. He had suddenly gotten famous in the campus and everyone had started recognising him.

Professors had started giving him attention and they always looked at him with smiles. He had also gotten popular among the girls.

His popularity was so high that the campus queen had confessed to him and they had started dating. Of course, the relationship between them didn't last long and they broke up after a year but it was a time of his life that Ren can't forget.

It was the start of his fame and his destruction. How could he forget about that.

"Ren, Ren, are you even listening to me?"

"Ha, sorry, I was just thinking about something."

Ren quickly broke out of his stupor when he heard Kei's voice.

"Do you want to visit the bookstore later? I wanted to buy a book on essays."

"Ah, sure, I wanted to buy some books too."

Ren answered with a smile on his face. He don't know why but he was now looking forward to the essay competition.

In the staff room of teachers, Shiki sensei sighed as he soon as he sat down in his seat.

"Are you worried about something? Shiki sensei."

Shiki sensei turned his head towards the voice and noticed that the one who asked the question was Hinata sensei who was a chemistry teacher.

"It's nothing. I am just worried about that kids nowadays are more interested in video games than books."

"Hahaha, Isn't that obvious. Teenagers nowadays are more interested in games and movies than books."

Hinata sensei said with a laugh. She was a young female teacher who was still in her 20s. So, she could better understand the students mentality.

"Is it about the essay competition?"

Another teacher asked and Shiki sensei just nodded at that.

"Times are really degrading. When I announced in my class that there will be a essay competition, all the students were just happy about the fact that there would be no classes. No one seems to care about the competition."

This time it was Sato sensei who spoke. He was the oldest teacher in the school and was nearing his 50s. 

"It was the same in my class."

"Me too. They really don't care about the essay competition."

"They are just happy that they will be able to leave school early."

Hearing the conversation several teachers shared their grievances and sighed. They were upset that students were more interested in leaving school early than the essay competition.

"Nakai sensei must be feeling bad."

Hinata sensei said as she looked at Nakai sensei who was silently reading a book in the corner.

Hearing her words, all the teachers looked at Nakai sensei but he didn't say anything and just continued to read his book.

For him reading a book was more interesting than a conversation.

"Yeah, Nakai sensei, you even pushed for the essay competition. Aren't you feeling bad that students aren't interested in it?"

A teacher asked him but Nakai sensei still didn't answered. He was still focusing on his book.

All the teachers just sighed seeing his behaviour. They all know that Nakai sensei wasn't the talkative type.

He was the literature teacher and it's been five years since he had started teaching in this school and his behaviour and attitude hadn't changed at all.

Although his attitude had pissed some of the teachers but they do not do anything as he teaches well and do his work diligently. It was just that he was more interested in reading books.

After sometime, Nakai sensei finally put down his book and smiled while looking out of the window.

"I wish there can be someone who can surprise me in this competition."

He muttered under his breath and continued to smile while looking outside the window.

Fame, wealth, prestige, genius, destruction, despair, loss and failure.

Those are the eight words which describes Ren's life completely.

He was hailed as a genius but his arrogance led him to despair. From a genius, he became a failure.

He was just struggling with his life when fate gave him a second chance.

Now, what will he do after he found himself waking up in another world.

Sorry I have not updated in a while and just let me tell you why...

I HAVE A CRAZY 87-YEAR-OLD NUN TEACHING ME! ...I mean... 87? What the heck!? Retire already! Anyway... (acts all innocent, like that outburst did not happen) I am currently going to a Catholic school, and most people would assume that I am Catholic because of that, right? NOPE! I am not... witch makes me think, "Hey, why am I expected to know all the details of sacraments that I am allowed to completely forget about after this year? Also, no I don't know all of parts of mass in order, so just freaking sue me!!!

*Ahem* On that note, I think that it is a little stereotypical that Sister actually carries around a ruler! I mean, WHAT'S THE POINT!? She is not legally aloud to hit anyone with it and we all know that, and she obviously doesn't... but is it for intimidation? If so why? At least I know that I think so, but she is terrifying when mad.... (Pls send help)

Even though everything I just said is true, she is a great lady... and I would truly like her if...
SHE WOULD REMEMBER MY NAME! It's not that hard... ^~^
She remembers the first letter at least! (Most of the time...) But at least I learned that there are so many names that sound similar to mine! #LookingForABrightSide

She is loading us up on homework every day... I am determined that she thinks that she is the only class we have all day because there is pretty much a two page essay due at the end of each day... I am not kidding you right now... "Assignment: Read writing prompt and write in a google doc (not a sponsor LOL) an essay on what this prompt means to you and how it can allow you to better your life and community. Each essay must be at least 100 words in 12 font, Times New Roman."

Yup... I am dead... X~X

So... my spring break starts next week and I will try a mass upload (#Trying) of my usual content and not the boring crap you guys have gotten recently... SORRY!

Also, if anyone else goes to a Catholic School, please tell me in the comments if you have to do something called "Lenten Packets"? Because personally... THEY ARE A NONESSENTIAL PAIN IN MY BUTT!!!

So yeah... I'm having fun during this pandemic house arrest... you? :)

I will be putting down my random rants about questions that I have... So basically a one-sided conversation and a lot of confusion on my part.

My friends typically find my rants funny due to them being completely off topic so they convinced me to do this... hope ya like it!

(Also how do I choose a lead gender for my thoughts?)

I went straight to class and submitted my assignment to the class representative. 
"Good morning. Here is my assignment". 
"Good morning. Am Disney". 
"Hi, Disney. What a nice name you have". 
"Am the only student Kim couldn't make to change her name. She says my name is chic enough".
"I guess that's one thing we have in common, Hollywood names". 
Disney laughed.
"You can't submit that assignment today". 
"Why not?".  
" 'cos, no one has done the assignment and Kim decided that no one should submit till tomorrow". 
"That's not fair". 
" I am sorry, I really wish I could help you but I can't. Its how things go on around here".
"Have you done the assignment?". 
"Yes of course. Am an A+ student". 
"Why did you not submit the assignment?". 
"I am only the class representative by name. Kim makes the rules around here and she owns the ultimate authority". 
"But that's not fair! Have you never thought of standing up for yourself?". 
"I have but I don't think I have the courage to stand against Kim". 
"OK. We are friends right?". 
"Of course we are". 
"Will you like to like to hang out with me after school. I usually get a ride home after school". 
"I will like to hang out with you but I'm sorry I can't do that today". 
"Why not?". 
"There is a class outing after school today and I have to be there. Kim will freak out if am not there and I do not want to do anything to anger her". 
"Suit yourself". 
"I am sorry, we can do this some other time". 
"No problem. I can't help but wonder how you manage to be an A+ student". 
I walked away. I do not know why I have to be angry at Disney but I just can't help it. I guess am just pissed off that everyone fears Kim. I sat down and began daydreaming about my former school. My friends will probably be having their morning swimming lessons and the boys are probably playing soccer. I miss my old school, the teachers, my friends and every other thing a girl could possibly miss her old school. I picked up my diary and started writing. 
Dear Diary,
This is probably the first time am writing about this and I really do not mean to complain but I really miss my old school. Where will Anastasia and Natalie be right now? Swimming class, I guess. They are probably having so much fun without me and it sucks. Do you know what sucks more than my best friends having so much fun without me? My life. Right now I feel like am the world's worst person, I mean what kind of a person should be sad because her best friends are having so much fun without her. Maybe am being a bad friend or maybe not, the bottom line is that miss my old life. I don't feel like Marvel anymore. I feel like Barbara or Barbie or whatever other dumb personality I am called here. Maybe being Barbara or Barbie isn't so bad after all. Rather than being proud of being named after a Hollywood studio, I could be proud of being named after Barbara Walters, the veteran T.V presenter or Barbara Palvin, the Hungarian model who cast in Hercules or maybe even the fantasy doll, Barbie™, interesting isn't it?. I remember I used to have a Barbie doll when I was younger. I left it when I was coming to Duncan and now I miss my Barbie doll.  I guess it is true what they say, you don't know what you have until you lose it. I didn't realize what it meant to be happy until now that I understand what true heartbreak means. Isn't that the whole point of fasting during Lent or Ramadan? To know the worth of having food to eat and be more beneficent towards the needy. I never thought I would be this sad. 
Perhaps I should just call my friends and see how they are doing. Thanks, the diary you're the best.

I put my diary in my bag and went to video call my friends. I passed Kim and her minions while going out of the class. I tried connecting to my friends but I couldn't get through. I texted Anastasia and hoped she will text back. 
Señor Singer walked into the class so I had to go in too. 
"Hola Estudiantes,cómo ha sido su día". He greeted. 
The whole class went silent. 
"Hola señor singer, Nuestro día ha ido bien señor y el suyo?". I answered. 
"At least there is someone who understands Spanish. Senorita, can you please interpret our conversation?". 
"Well you said Hello students how has your day been and I answered hi señor singer our day has been going well and yours". 
"Perfecto Niña". He said. 
He asked for the assignment he gave us and no one raised their hands. 
"I did it, sir". 
"Chica Atta!". "Be an exemplary role model and read out your essay in Spanish". 
"This isn't fair". Kim said. 
"Why not Chica?". 
"Everyone knows you have a preference towards her, you probably wrote the essay for her". 
"If I wrote it for her, will I also read it for her?¡Contéstame Kimberley! ¿Lo leeré por Ella?". He asked meaning answer me, Kimberly, will I read it for her. 
"Whatever,"  She said and sat down in defeat 
I read the essay out loud and señor Singer gave me a perfect score. 
"Thank you, sir," I said.  
"In Espanol?". 
"Gracias Señor". I corrected myself. 
"To all of you who didn't do the assignment, your punishment is to get a whole notebook and write in Spanish "I am sorry Mr Singer, I will always do my assignment henceforth".
"But...?" Kim began. 
"¡Suficiente!Am tired of being disrespected. I have patiently taken all your insolence but I won't take it anymore. You either serve your punishment or you wash all the toilets in the whole school". 
"We are sorry sir!". 
"Can someone translate what I told you to write in the notebook in Spanish. 
Disney raised her hand. 
"Yes Disney". 
"Lo, Siento señor Singer Haré mi tarea de Ahora en Adelante". 
"Not exactly like that, any other person?". 
Other students tried but didn't get it quite well. 
"Yes Nina, you want to help us out," He said to me. 
I stood up and answered. "Lo, siento señor Singer Yo Siempre haré mi tarea de Ahora en Adelante ". 
"Un aplauso para Nuestra chica inteligente aquí y Nuestro representante de clase Disney ". He said asking them to applaud I and Disney
Senor singer taught us and left the class as soon as the bell rang. 
"Hey newbie, I have something for you. Guess what it is?". 
I looked back and saw my diary. I ran to her and tried to take it from her but was held back by her minions
"Calm down senorita, I just want to know what you're hiding". 
"Don't you dare read my diary, Kim. Don't you dare"? 
"I told you I was going to find out what you are hiding". 
If Kim read my diary, she will see the things I wrote about señor Singer. I broke free and ran towards her....

Babe's Diary is the book you should read this season. It's is realistic fiction, it talks about real-life issues and is directed to the general audiences. It's a book you can discover yourself in. The author brings you closer to the character and creates a connection such that you can substitute yourself in the book. There were times I found myself disagreeing with my own characters. It's like I am living the story and I think you should do the same, of course, it doesn't matter what I think....lol. I enjoyed writing this book so much and I hope you enjoy reading it. This book is # Child abuse # Romance # Teen # Tragedy. 
This book may be quite different from other books you have read but am positive in the end you will be glad reading it. I could rightly tag it the book of all times but I won't be so forward.... lmao. I'll leave you to decide, share this book if you agree.

Midst the noisy chaotic place of the Grand Hall, three teens make their way inside, where Justin came into the front of Elliot's view, exclaiming in confusion and a hint of anger.

"No I have not..... -yet"
Elliot cracked a joke, but no one laughed and he just grinned embarrassed. "Cmon, it will help me in some ways-" He continued when no one responded. The two will not understand it yet. As they don't know that those two are some manipulating men that uses legilimency to access one's thoughts. And it's better for Elliot to get 100 points deducted, and a mere detention. As presumably, if the two gets interviewed by Snape and Albus, they will definitely use legilimency on Justin and Tasia, hence will know about Core Enhancing. Which Elliot definitely doesn't want to happen. 
"And how so? It can help you in 'some ways'? " Tasia asked then who was also pissed by his action, yet also partly thankful in some ways.

"I don't know, maybe annoy him since he hates me.. or give the Weasley twins some information on how to prank him," Elliot answered not so serious about the topic. Tasia expression changed a bit, after being friends with the twins, theyve been doing several pranks now, and indeed, shes a girl of mischief, so seeing that Snape will be pranked, is obviously amusing, just imagining it is already actually amusing. But still... she kept quiet as she just smiled a bit. Justin wasn't just getting how playing pranks or annoying the bat is 'useful' where it might possibly add some deduction of points further. He just grunted sighing, sitting on the Ravenclaws table parted away from each other.

Elliot didn't really have plans though. He doesn't actually plan to prank the bat or anything. He just made some excuses. Cause fuck that guy, who wants to prank that corny edgy emo-y boomer. 

I know, he knows, we knows, the time will be wasted. But it's only 2 hours anyway. One thing to consider though is his boredom. He doesn't know if Snape's office have anything to offer, books and whatsoever, probably gonna deduct some points if Severus see him doing something with his personal stuff.

There was few minutes left before he needs to get his ass down there, so eating a good portion of his food, he sent goodbye to the two going to the dark cold dungeon. 

He neither like this place or love it. It's not that noisy since rarely people come here to hangout. But the coldness it produce is really annoying sometimes. It's also very dark. But doing shitty things and sneaking out can be useful since it's more harder to see the person. There are other more things than that, pros and cons, but his thoughts was cut when he saw the waving black cotton robes of the man noticeable in the front door of the dungeon office. 

Elliot cleared his throat, closing in each seconds as his stomp on the cobblestone floor makes Severus already aware he's there. Arriving at the closed wooden door, he knocked 3 times, to immediately get a response.

"Get in"

Like usual, it was deep, nonchalant yet hateful one. Elliot shrugged opening the big door, seeing the staring Snape on his eyes like piercing it with his own. Elliot gulped, Snape speaking once again.

"Don't dare do anything silly in my office, or maybe you're interested for how deep a punishment can be.."
The crooked nose man smirked, going back to his demeanor. "Sit... in that table"

He pointed one of the row table in between. Elliot obediently got to the chair uninterested face and aura surrounding him. Snape sneered getting annoyed yet amused by his presence.

Silence.

The scribbling of inks to the parchment paper written by the dark professor, the chime of the clock, the wind that blows inside, and the faraway noise of the students in the dungeon, are the only things you can hear within the room. Breath maybe.

The office, for your information, is different from the Potion Classroom. The office designs depends on what the professor likes. And here, unlike what most student thinks of what Snape's office looks like, dark and vampire like, it was rather more formal and a proper fitting office to spend your time. It was just about half the size of a subject classroom, there are several shelf in the wall, accompanied by the potions he probably usually make or experiment to. There's some paintings in the other wall, as well as a board full of parchment papers pinned, the messy handwriting input in every paper, assumingly that it's the recipes of the potion he possibly make himself or just some notes of an already made Potion.

There's four lamps. In the side of the shelves in the same place, brimming with white color lighting up the room. In the left side is a door, presumably where the bathroom is. There's no windows as usual. And there's a box with different jars, full of different ingredients. As Elliot saw that, his eyes were in immediate hunger. How fun is it to be a Potion Master..

In the middle is the mahogany dark desk, and a comfortable chair behind where the greasy haired man sits.

"Don't I have anything to do?" Elliot, middle of silence accidentally blurted his thoughts out of the blue. Realizing, he grunted at himself pinching.

('I should have not said that...') 

Snape meanwhile, turned to look at the fairly tall boy, bearing a disrespected face.

"I don't care if you are in boredom Mr. Demetrius.."
He answered strict, going back to his quill to grade the essay papers of whatever year is it. 

Elliot, now in the topic, asked for more. 

"Aren't detentions supposed to have some punishment or something... sir?" Elliot shrugged, as it's common sense that detentions here at Hogwarts of course are always accompanied by punishments. He still remembered when he got detention by the pink fucking frog, Umbridge, his weak and frail body back then, after using the 'special quill' that writes on your body, he was immediately sent in to the infirmary.

"Tsk..."

It was the only thing muttered by the bat, sneering in low voice that most cannot reach. It's terrific really if youre in the dungeon then you suddenly hear it. Elliot though was not really affected by his demeanor that most are afraid of. He already have seen Death Eaters and Voldemort himself back then, and this one is just another likes of them. 

"Very well Mr. Demetrius, as much how every professor here... despises you-"

Elliot almost laughed, putting his lips back in his mouth to keep it in, as Snape saw the movement, continuing with his exaggerations. Fake exaggerations. 

"-Despises you, for your overzealous number of essays... within this detention, write me a detailed description of..." 

"Wiggenweld Potion.." The man once again harbored the annoying smirk of his, as everyone knows the potion is learn in later months of the first year. Might as well one of the hard ones as its effect is the opposite of the Sleeping Draught. 

But Elliot smirked also, but discreetly, facade in his face showing a fake worried one. Which made the dungeon bat foolishly grow his smirk, oh well. Poor him. He must be thinking right now that Elliot doesn't know it. 

It's a relatively easy one for Elliot actually. He already did it one time back when he was still training with his master, one of the first teachings Archaic gave even though it's considered hard for starters. But the only thing he needed to do is make an essay about it, not actually perform it and make the potion, so it's 100x more easier. 

The tables have a small cabinet below, so Elliot opened his, where the extra parchment papers are stored. Grabbing several of them, he brought out his quill with an ink that was customed to not run out, and soon started writing. 

Snape mouth made an 'oh' interested one, seeing the boy is actually doing it. But his mind is objective that some insolent boy that just foolishly gone onto the Forbidden Forest, praised by everyone, can make an essay that detailed that even some 2nd or 3rd years still find hard to make and explain. 

Time passed sooner than expected, and both scribbles of the two are still the only sound that was being accomplished in the room. As an hour and quarter before the curfew passes, Elliot stood up getting the attention of Severus.

"I'm done.." 

Elliot muttered, enough for Severus to hear. Who smirked grumpily, "I assume it was very hard for you is it? Its very dumb of you to bring several papers here trying to trick me that you actually wrote an essay that long.." The man smugly answers like he obviously caught the trick. In truth, it was really not, Elliot did really wrote an essay 'that long'. And was not just some fake paper he included. 

Elliot only shrugged uninterested of his bullshit, giving the papers waiting beside him in an enough distance to not feel his cold aura. 

Snape amusingly dropped the quill he's using, grabbing the papers of the boy, scanning the beautiful handwriten sentences in the parchment. Clearing his throat coughing, he convinced himself that it was all a petty trick, and was just nonsense. For few minutes of reading the essay, his eyes was deep in thought. He was surprised yet also was not delighted. It was all correct. And he had the urge to even go look for a book since some of it, he doesn't even remember that it was a feature. But his pride didn't let him be seen by the boy grabbing a book just to check a 'petty essay'. 
He coughed looking a bit embarrassed, possibly, bit flustered. He looked at the boy who seems really had no hard time writing it. Grunting in reverse disappointment and dissatisfaction, he spoke then. 

"You can go now," Snape finally said the thing, as Elliot smiled widely, immediately grabbing his special quill back in the desk, smirking behind the man. ('Gotcha you greasy ass bitch')

What a fun moment.

It was pretty early, since there's still a quarter left, it must have been Snape annoyance of his presence letting him leave than the supposed time. To be honest, Elliot doesn't know how the fuck he's hated by that guy. Is it because of his 'charming brimming beautiful' green eyes? Cmon Snape, its not even close to Harry's one or Lily, his eyes are more darker in comparison.

As Elliot grabbed his stuff, he stopped for a moment by the doorstep. 

"By the way, the second Potion experiment on the right of your board, replace Chizpurfles Fangs with a Stewed Mandrake, mix it after 2 minutes of putting It in counter clockwise. Before bottling it, left it in an ice water for 10 minutes, then store in the vial.. "

It was all he said, smirking, then exiting without any further listening to Snape who was confused as fuck, about to mutter a question. 
He checked his board, where a pinned parchment paper to the right, an experiment he had been doing since months ago, but was left since he didn't know how to solve it. He still recalled what the boy said. Replace, mixing, before bottling.. 

He stood up, interested and flabbergasted. 

Taking the right recipes, and also replacing the 'wrong Chizpurfles Fangs' with a Stewed Mandrake, he started concocting, doing the things Elliot said, as he felt hesitant, silly, and embarrassed he's following Elliot's instructions. Coming to realization that it's all just some pranks. 

He sighed, disappointed at himself for being that gullible for years. He dropped his wand at the table, about to stop the fire below the cauldron where the wasted ingredients are inside. 

Until, it bubbled, a sign it was done successfully.

The Wizarding World was blissful as the young wizard hero, Harry Potter, has once again saved the world from the dark wizard, Voldemort.

Unknown to them, there were a lot more people who help to defeat the dark lord. But it just revolves the young man, Harry there, Harry here, Harry everywhere, as always.

Peculiar to his schoolmates, Ron, Hermione, and other more, one stand out from the rest. Unfortunately, not because of his heroic nor anything good in particular, but because of his bad deeds. A man named Elliot. 

But truth, he was framed.

After the sorrowful life he had, he had the chance to change himself.

Himself from the past.

Creating an empire that will stand high among the rest.

A killer, that's what I am. A cold-blooded, killing machine. That's what I've been created to be. Like a weapon forged in fire. The best there is. It takes a whole squad of trained killers to even come close to me. I am always first pick for the hardest missions. It sucks sometimes since I never get any downtime, but it's not like a trained killer needs downtime, right? But according to my cover, I'm sixteen year old Hispanic girl who is a marching band member. I'm still wondering why I have to be here. I understand that this is where I was assigned to be, but why? 

    My "life" seems so normal. What needs to be done? When assigned a mission, the only details you're given is on who you're supposed to kill. I have been assigned to assassinate Erica Shevelev, a 24 year old Russian spy posing as a high school teacher. We've been after her for one year, and I'm so close to taking her out. Even then, I'm the last person they should send for this. They should just send a C Class Killer instead. Even they can handle taking this woman out. This is just a waste of my time. 

   I feel my phone buzzing in my back pocket, Ugh who could it be now? I wonder as I take out my phone to check. I see it's on of my "friends," Maeve Kreiger, trying to facetime me. So I put on a smile and answer.
   
   "Maeve, what do you want?" I ask cranky as it's morning.

   "Gosh okay, Esperanza, what did I ever do to you?" She says pretending to be hurt, but can't keep her little giggles in. Her dirty blonde hair shifting and getting in her rosy cheeked facade. As she moves her hands to brush her hair back, I see what seems like dried blood. 

   "Hey! What's that on your hands?" I ask looking at the splatter of an almost black shade of red.

   "Oh this. I couldn't sleep so I started painting." She said with a smile, I know she's lying but I shrug it off anyways. 

   "Ok, just making sure your not hurt. Anyways you at school yet?" I ask.

   "I'm on my way now. You?" She says with a jump.

   "Same," I say, less enthusiastic, with an added eye roll. I don't understand how she can be so excited for school. There are so many better things I could be doing. Like trying to find this Russian Spy lady.

   "Cool! Well I guess I'll see you there. Byeeeeee!" She practically screeches the bye as she hangs up the phone. I start to think back about that red stuff on her hand. Was it really paint? I ask myself. I haven't known her long enough to give her my trust. So for the remainder of the walk, my mind is conjuring up some story as to what really could have happened.

    I'm just overthinking things. She is a painter. I'll just drop it. She's only a civilian. 
I make it to school and meet up with Maeve near the band hall. "Hiiiiiiiii!" She says full of glee.

   "Jeez, Maeve! How do you stay this energetic all the time?" I say taking my hands off my ears from her scream.

   "It's a gift," she says sarcastically flipping her hair. I give her a small smile and go see what is being served for breakfast. She follows behind me, skipping down the hall. 

   "Why do you always act like you're five?" I ask, kind of annoyed. 

   "Why don't you act like you're five? It's fun," she questions. Which only annoys me more.

   "Maybe because I'm not five-" she cuts me off.

   "BORING!" This really angered me. Maeve may be my "friend" but sometimes she can be a real pain. I try my best to just keep my anger inside me, cause I know if I let it out, it won't end well.

    Maeve continues. "C'mon Esperanza, you gotta loosen up a bit. Have some fun every once in a while. You're too serious." 

   "I have fun, sometimes," I state. That's not exactly a lie. I may be a killer, but I find things that a lot of normal girls like. Carnivals, music, animals, books, to name a few. 

   "HA! If only. I've never even see you smile." And she's right. I don't smile. I take my work seriously, but I give a fake smile to satisfy her. 

   "That's not a smile. At least not a real one. C'mon, do you think I'm that gullible?" Yes. I think to myself, slightly rolling my eyes. I walk slightly faster and make it to the breakfast line to end the conversation. The line isn't long. I look at what they have, thinking I don't want anything. But my stomach feels like it was eating itself out, so I jump in line and get the first thing I see; yogurt and granola. Maeve gets the same thing and starts ranting about some weird percussion stuff. 

    We then see the third member of our "group" Aida De Leon sitting by the window. Her shoulder-length black hair up in a ponytail and her bangs covering her black coffee eyes.  As soon as we sit down, she looks up from her computer screen and greets us. 

   "Working on your book?" I ask sitting next to her, opening my yogurt. 

   "No, just editing the Romeo and Juliet script," she says, looking back down to her laptop, the screen lighting up her face. Adia is a theater kid. That's all she really talks about. We know she loves theater, but she's always complaining about it. 

   "This stupid script is so long! It's taking forever to cut down!" But we can see that she wants it to take longer. 

   "Please, we all know you enjoy this stuff." I remark, smiling. "At least you don't have to do an essay," I say, remembering that I actually have an essay I need to finish, so I take out my laptop.

   "I'd prefer an essay over this." Aida says, trying to hide her smiles. Maeve and I exchange a questioning look, knowing she's lying.

   "No, you wouldn't. You're a theater geek, you love what you do. Besides you don't like writing." Maeve says rolling her hazel-gold eyes and starts laughing. 

   "Okay fine, you got me, I really do love theater," she says, letting her head fall, admitting her defeat.

   "Who did the German homework?" Adia asks. I freeze and Maeve just laughs. I put my head in my hands and just continue eating my yogurt with granola. 

   "Don't bring him up please," I say, rolling my dark hazel eyes. 

   "I'm going to take that as a no." Adia says laughing, causing her bangs to jump. Watching that, I start laughing. Maeve looks like she has no idea what's going on, but she starts laughing too. Then the bell rings. Maeve and I finished our breakfast. Adia saves her document and closes her laptop. I put my laptop back into my bag, and we all depart to our classes. 

    My first period is band, Maeve has Physics and Adia has AP Calculus. I seriously dislike my first period. There are at least three people I don't like in there. Others like them and I don't understand why. They are all clearly two-faced snakes that honestly disgusts me. But I can't change someone's mind. Enough talking about this boring high school life. The Russian Spy I'm supposed to take out is the teacher Adia and I have for history. However, Adia has her 2nd period and I, 7th. Thankfully, it's a Thursday. She has tutorials, so I can pop by after school looking for help, cut his throat and leave. Hopefully, it will be only me in there today.
  
    I hear sirens. Ambulance sirens. The directors go outside to check what has happened. While they're gone, I sneak outside too. Why is there an ambulance here? My question is answered when I see Erica being taken out on a stretcher with something covering her throat. 

    What the hell? Did somebody just take out my target? Oh hell no! My thoughts are taking over my mind. So many questions are appearing in my brain. Who did this? Why did they do this? Was this the work of another assassin? 
"Go back inside Esperanza." One of the directors tell me.
"Yes sir." I respond and head on back. Then the intercom comes on.

Esperanza De La Cruz, was orphaned at a young age, not long after the death of her parents, she began working as an assassin for the Government. In a secret sector called Preservation. During a mission gone wrong Esperanza uncovers that Preservation is not what it seems. It’s less about protecting the people, and more about kill for hire. She soon finds herself on the run, with two others that Preservation has ruined, in an attempt to destroy them before they destroy her.

 What is this "shopping wish list" you speak of? How I like to spend money? These are questions that don't apply to me! Were these prompts designed to be responded to by adults with jobs and money to spend?! This is ridiculous! Disrespectful! Blasphemous! Insidious! Discriminatory! 
 Anyway, if I had a shopping wish list, it'd probably only have computer parts, a trampoline, friends, and random interesting gadgets, because I've long since grown out of my "I want this and that" faze. If I don't need something that I want and can't reasonably obtain it, I just forget about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Now, about spending money…another thing I don't due. Uhhhmm......…if I had money to spend, I guess, besides necessities, I'd purchase tons of full-body costumes and decent-quality cameras to film myself and others walking around in public while wearing the aforementioned costumes! Sounds like fun.
Well…these aren't words for an entire post! Let me see…
If I had enough money to do extravagant things, what would I do? First of all, install fun contraptions and stuff in my house. I'm talking long slides, trampolines, foam pits to jump in, a swimming pool, an archery range, and TVs everywhere. Ooooh, and a petting zoo…but only containing common house pets. Maybe a tiger.
Besides those things, I'd also want to experience flight with the use of a wingsuit—THEY LOOK SO FUN TO USE! Jumping off a cliff or an airplane high over land and safely gliding to the bottom at tremendous speeds… Or, even better… Commission the construction of a skyscraper somewhere with tons of open space so that I can fly in a wingsuit from home! Never mind, a private helicopter would be simpler and better…

THE SITUATION RIGHT NOW: I've gotten over the majority of my laziness. I'm unlikely to update this much. It's pretty much complete. The novel I'm working on is Dark Seas Leading Demise

Phoebe turns out to be married to Duncan, a gay friend who needed a green card. Phoebe did love him, and finds those feelings returning. Now (six years later) he's back and needs a divorce. Turns out he's not gay, and is getting married to someone else. The revelation of Phoebe's secret marriage prompts several other discoveries: The underwear on the telephone pole outside is Monica's, from when she had sex with Fun Bobby on the terrace; Chandler has a third nipple; Joey was in a porn movie (which they then watch). Ross is nervous about the prospect of having sex for the first time with Julie. He approaches Rachel for advice; her own interest in Ross keeps her from being completely honest, and she tries her best to see that it doesn't happen.

Teacher Sun was stunned. She had looked at Mother Zhuang and swallowed hard before asking, "Well, Nainai's mother, do you not see the problem?"
Mother appeared puzzled. "What problem?"
"Zhuang Nainai is still young and very immature, but she wants to be in a romantic relationship at so early an age!"
Mother looked even more surprised. "She's already sixteen! It's not early at all! People come of age at fifteen in other countries."
Teacher Sun was speechless. 
Mother pondered for a while and looked at Zhuang Nainai. "Nainai, do you really like this Si Zhengting boy?" 
Teacher Sun brightened at this, thinking that perhaps Mother Zhuang had an alternative teaching style in mind for educating her child. For instance, asking her to study well and attain a certain grade in her studies before allowing her to chase after boys.
Zhuang Nainai replied, "Yes, Mother."
Mother Zhuang nodded and continued, "You must be careful in love. If you do get that boy, bring him home to meet me!"
Zhuang Nainai laughed and reassured, "Don't worry, Mother. Don't you trust your daughter's taste in men?"
Her mother had agreed, "Yes, that's true, no ordinary boy can catch my Nainai's eye!"
Teacher Sun was speechless. 
Was this mother actually supportive of her daughter falling in love so early?
Zhuang Nainai had felt nothing wrong back then, but thinking back on it now, her mother's education was really different and remarkable.
She had employed a special teaching method which made Zhuang Nainai feel that learning was fun and not a chore.
Even though they had to endure the hardships of poverty, the mother and daughter pair were happy.
How could a mother like this possibly be a child thief? She loved and respected her mother dearly.
So… what's the matter with that DNA paternity test results?
She did not believe and cannot believe it.
Zhuang Nainai's eyes darkened at this thought. She sighed and closed the exercise book.
Her eyes glossed over the page on the exercise book just then and she quickly flipped back to the page. There it was, her second dream years ago. 
A princess bed? 
Zhuang Nainai was dazed.
The three-by-three-meter princess bed that stood out from the general room decor flashed through her mind. 
Zhuang Nainai felt a bell ring in her mind and she quickly read her essay.
It was in high school eight years ago, she could not remember the details, but having re-read the essay…
European style, three by three meters, white mesh net…
A layer of thin mist formed in Zhuang Nainai's eyes. She stood up abruptly as she drew the link in her mind.
Was that bed prepared for her?
A wave of excitement washed over her and every cell in her body felt invigorated.
She threw down the exercise book and hastily sealed the box again before rushing out of the house.
She had to ask Si Zhengting if he had liked her before. And if so, did he still like her now?

It was 6 pm at the Imperial Group building.
In the top executive suite of the office, the secretaries and employees were still deep in work. They were used to working overtime.
Executive assistant Ji Chen handed Si Zhengting a document for him to review and sign.
Si Zhengting penned his name in one and Ji Chen handed over another. "Sir, this is…"
He was mid-sentence when he noticed Si Zhengting look up at the clock on the wall.
The second hand ticked by, the clock chimed when it crossed number twelve, announcing that it was 6 pm.
Si Zhengting threw down his pen and stood up. "Off work."
Ji Chen was dumbstruck. 


He's the heir of the Imperial Group, ruthless and calculating. Yet, he dotes on his wife so much. 

"Hubby, I'm thinking of getting a pet. What do you think is good?"

"You are the pet."

"…"

"Hubby, is a rose or peony prettier?"

"You are the prettiest."

"…"

Zhuang Nainai: …Can you say something constructive?

One day, someone asks him, "Why are you always the one bowing your head first when you quarrel with her?"

Si Zhengting: "Because I'm 185 cm, and she's 165 cm. When am I not the first to bow my head?"

In short, this is a black-bellied CEO who dotes on his wife in every way you could think of and tries his best to build a family after marriage by baking a little bun baby.
