I at times get asked for book recommendations, so here they are! 
 The books following are both fanfics and originals. I will try to get the tags as closely as I can. And I apologies in advance if I get some wrong.

I try to recommand good books on webnovel or other sites..I'm sorry if I bumped into someone who's not interested

I was almost late for my flight, but, luckily, I made it. I found my seat and quickly made myself comfortable. After opening my suitcase and taking out the recently bought book, there wasn't anything else to ask for. 

Ahh, I couldn't help but caress the paper's texture and breathe in the library smell. 
Books are good. They can always be with you. They don't betray. And they don't leave unless you leave them. Book is the most loyal friend.
Suddenly I felt someone staring. 

The woman, sitting beside me, was curiously looking at my lap. She was inspecting the book.

"We shouldn't judge by a cover." I said, trying to justify the ugly front illustration. It was rather bland, but what was interesting was the content after all.   

My neighbor's brows went up and soon I heard a melodious voice.

"I find that phrase a bit overused. Many say it, but it's not true. We all are at fault of doing it, aren't we? Personally, I do that quite a lot. The cover is what is seen the first moment and usually it gives the first impression. If the author can't even be bothered with his cover, why should I waste my time and read the book? Most don't have the time to open the book if it doesn't look good. Not that they can be blamed. If I don't know the author or don't have any recommendations about the writing, then having a nice appearance is the least it can do, to not get overshadowed by other trinkets on the shelves." She paused and gave me a meaningful look. "It's the same with people, don't you agree?" 

My ears were gradually getting hot and I could only hope they weren't turning red at this point. Damn, she meant me, didn't she? 
My costume got messed up and the white shirt did little in hiding wine splashes that I got this afternoon. My hair also lost its shape. I didn't have time to clean myself up, since I was already running short on time. It was either beautifying myself or missing the flight.
'Having a nice appearance is the least it can do, to not get overshadowed' That person sure knew how to hide her stings!

"Well, never would have guessed that you deliver slaps this beautifully." I chuckled. Might as well enjoy the conversation while it lasts. 
She smirked, and I found her smile rather captivating.
"Why? Because I don't look that way? Doesn't that mean you had just judged me because of my appearance? Cover, that is to say. This only prove what I said before."
While I was pondering what to say, the lady opened her laptop, and continued talking.
"Of course, there is also a title. As long as it's interesting enough, the cover might get ignored. Though I don't expect much from something with a bland guise."
 "My name is Al." I felt like it was time to introduce myself.
 "Just like I thought, boring." An ambiguous phrase sounded.
"Haha. Isn't it." I awkwardly squeezed out an answer, not knowing how to respond.
The lady chuckled. She turned he head and pointed her finger down.
"Relax, I meant the book." I too, looked down. ''Scattered Sweets''
Her words weren't referring to me?? 
She's such a tease!

The lady sensed my embarrassment and stopped talking. Soon she was typing on her laptop.
I also kept silent and started reading.

Gosh, the book is so frustrating! I got sucked into the story quickly and it's indeed fascinating. But, there is a BIG problem. The main protagonist is so dense!  Why can't I just jump inside the book and knock some sense into their head! So useless, can't you open your eyes and see that the one who killed your comrade is your guest!
Just as the storyline got exciting, my reading was interrupted.

"Mr. Al, are you okay?" 
Seems like my heavy breathing raised the concerns of the lady beside me. I turned my head to the left to face her. Seems she mistook my name for my surname, but, oh well, I don't mind. 

"Mmmm. I'm alright. Just the lead is so annoying and it's only now that the action starts." I answered slowly. I didn't want to appear rude but being interrupted on an interesting part really triggers one's temper. "Do you mind?... I'd like to continue…"

"Oh, you're at that part!" the beauty glanced at the page. "Sorry, of course, go on."

I froze.

"Wait. You read it?" 
But, didn't she judge my poor taste in literature just a moment ago?

"I only said the title was boring. I never said I haven't read it." She giggled, savoring the moment. "In fact, I finished it just yesterday. Shall I tell you who dies?"

"No!"

The lady again smirked and said that she was only kidding. Then she again turned to her laptop and we fell into silence. 
As I got fed up with the profound stupidity of one of the characters, I closed the book. Sometimes you just have to take a break. I noticed that my neighbor was resting too. Now she was admiring the view outside the window. And while she was busy looking at those funny-shaped clouds, I was admiring her.
She had smooth skin. The kind you were wondering what in the world did they do to make it that way. And her pretty eyebrows were just the right height above her eyes that were…
Looking at me.

Shoot! 

I quickly turned my head, pretending not to be flustered by the way I got caught.
"Is there something on my face?" I heard an old, cliché phrase. I wanted to answer her with something smart like, "Nah, just two beautiful eyes, a pretty nose, and those seductive lips…" Wait, did that actually sound smart?
In the end, all I could do was whimper sheepishly.
"N-nothing."
"Really?", the voice was like honey, slowly oozing from my left, "I was sure I at least had a nose, or something."
I turned my head and was suddenly met with a smiling face up close. 
"What are you…  "Gosh, that was seriously bad for my heart, that girl!
"Nothing much. Thought you might want to take a closer look."
That person! Can I just get off the plane already?

-       Why offer to buy someone a drink if you can buy them a book? 
-	Why do you like books so much?
-	 Have you ever seen it screaming at you: ‘’ Two-timer!’’ when you put it aside, and start reading another one?
-	Well, maybe you should consider dating a book then.




If you're into stories about a shameless protagonist (either male or female - both of them are bad, hoho) then this is your chance to embark on a wonderful journey. Sure thing, Alfred can be called a playboy, but can he keep up with the female lead? After all,  she's like a cactus, not letting any of his compliments close to heart. At the same time, the male lead is melting like butter in her hands.
So is this love?

This article is going to be depressing .

 I will be analyzing various phenomenon through a pessimistic and utilitarian perspective .

Please don't remind me of any grammatical errors since I won't be correcting them .

On the 22nd of march I realized that the world is going to have another major threat before overpopulation chokes the earth in 2040 or the climate change burns down the entire area between the tropic of cancer and the tropic of capricorn .

And you know what's funny ? We always say " Save the earth " like we are somehow capable of ruining it . The earth won't have a problem even if we start playing Nuclear checkers all  over it . Back to the topic .

So this new virus came along and it explained the steadiness of every single system of governance there is , I will be giving the examples of four countries China , U.K. , India and U.S.A. . 

China has socialism in its blood , the whole country is ran in a very conservative way if not for a few visionary leaders it would be history by now . The chinese people have accepted modernization steadily while keeping their culture alive and well , which is a good thing but their view on power is very problematic as they tend to put a family/organization first attitude in a lot of situations and forget about the country as a whole . In the present situation china was able to respond rapidly because of the pressure bought upon by the global community . If the person responsible didn't act fast enough he would just be pushed out by the small group of personal connections that support him . China too has professors that recommend excellent students for higher studies and then they have the same system of personal " recommendations " through the military , business , politics etc. which is too grave . 

England , the people who act all Goody two-shoes like they were not having dibs at world dominance before Germany , they thought the world will forget everything as long as they fight off Hitler and they were right the world did forget . As for the over all situation of England I can only say that there is one man who controls that country and he isn't named Boris . You see , our old friend Boris is an idiot and that's why he got the position he has , because only an idiot would sign documents he doesn't understand , because only an idiot would go around shaking hands with infected people like they deserve the old routine handshake of political support that injured veterans and healthy businessmen get all the time .

India , a country whose population density keeps growing like a perpetual machine . Frankly India's situation should have been worse than China and any other western country and I say this with basis unlike everything else , as India is like a heaven for a virus transmitting through saliva . The people there spit on everything , public facilities are bad to say the least and the people are indifferent . India is currently out of danger because they have a clearheaded and capable leader who likes taking action first and then waiting for the results . It can be seen that India's PM likes to read the book of protocol backwards which mostly works out for him and when it doesn't like in the case of demonetization the public still supports him because they understand . 

Finally , America , U.S. of A how is capitalism working out ? . You took a businessman and gave the most powerful position you had to him . Trumps problem is not that he is dumb like Boris but that he is over-smart , he runs the country like a business and that's why he fired all those experts who were hogging resources , researching for a calamity that may not happen is wasteful . When the Virus was near , America's leader took a calculator and gave a number to the amount he would lose everyday if a quarantine happened then to minimize it he delayed for as long as he could , waiting for everyone to get infected making a quarantine useless and then he would just lift it for a stupid reason and his people would forgive him for he is a very straightforward leader . He would just say something like " Everyone would have gotten infected eventually " yes and the lives saved the other way can't even make the number he saved , in a hundred lifetimes . I don't pity the American people as they are tough as nails and I know they can survive anything but you should do something in the next election , if the Rump gets one more election in his bag then you are a lost cause . The country will make progress but will you ?

The book is only a single chapter on the current world situation , people may think I am posting on the wrong site but I don't care.

Zhao Yao came back to Cat Wonderland and wanted to activate the evolution.
He chose to complete the task and watched the mission panel for the collection of meteorite fragments disappear. There was an additional evolution panel on top of the basic mission panel, diamond hall, and lucky draw.
Zhao Yao clicked on it and realized that he had already signed a contract with 8 cats. Matcha, Elizabeth, and Ares were all included.
He chose Matcha and saw an evolution button. He pressed the button with anticipation and saw a line of red words.
"Level is insufficient. Unable to activate evolution."
Zhao Yao was stunned and then he noticed the small line of words behind underneath. Evolution can only be activated when Level 10 is reached.
"It has to be Level 10?" Zhao Yao was glad that he did not spend his experience points randomly. He took a look at the panel.

He looked at all of the experience points and sighed. "I cannot activate the evolution. I need a hundred thousand more experience points. Even though Elizabeth and Dust Ball both have the highest Levels, they have not reached Level 10. Looks like I have to collect more experience points.
Thinking of this, Zhao Yao stood up and looked at the three cats, who were scratching and sniffing at the canned food. "Stop eating. There is something important to do."
"What?" the three cats asked. "Don't you already have all the meteorite fragments?" 
"How is collecting meteorite fragments enough? We have to do more meaningful things." Zhao Yao waved his hand and said to Merlin, "Predict, which supercat in this world needs our help now."
Upon hearing Zhao Yao, the three cats looked at each other and thought that the Zhao Yao in front of them was a fake. Even Sheriff thought that his powers malfunctioned as he heard Zhao Yao's thoughts of wanting to help.
Zhao Yao shook his head. "It is not easy for you to predict if there is too little information right? Then…" He took out his phone and logged into the Cat web.
"There are many supercats and apostles here. We can see who needs help and we can predict accordingly."
Soon, Zhao Yao started shouting. "Look, this cat posted that he is troubled that he can't slim down. We should help him."
The post wrote, "Are there any other cats like me, who do not want to get up after lying down and sleep more than 18 hours? Recently, my weight has been getting out of control and I can't slim down. Are there any recommendations?"
Anthony hesitated, "This is too little information. Merlin can't be precise about the location."
"It's okay." Zhao Yao clicked on his profile picture and said, "We can look at the post he has posted. The more we scroll, the more we will know."
While Zhao Yao brought the three cats with him to do good deeds, Matcha sneaked into the gym on the third floor of Cat Wonderland.
The orange cat stuck his head out from behind the wall and looked at Bai Quan, who was exercising.
Although he could no longer borrow Sphynx cat's powers, Bai Quan had already gotten use to exercising everyday. He would come to the gym everyday just for fun.
Matcha looked at Bai Quan and typed in his phone, "Second choice is Bai Quan. He has a good temper, gentle personality, and can cook great cat food. He never mistreats cats and does not bring stray cats home, extort them, threaten them or kidnap."
Matcha listed a whole list of Bai Quan's qualities and nodded. "It should be safe for Bai Quan to adopt the kitten." 
While Matcha was observing, a few men walked up and looked at Bai Quan with envy. "Great muscles."
Bai Quan laughed and said, "You guys aren't that bad too."
"How are we comparable to you?" The guys continued. "Look here, look at your great waistline."
Bai Quan patted them on the shoulder and said, "Xiao Mao, you have to work on your back muscles."
"I have been too busy with work. Why don't you teach us how to use this equipment?"
"Wow! The strength! You must be really powerful!"
Matcha's sweat dripped as he watched them touch each other and compliment each other. "It feels weird."
"Bai Quan… Out!" 
Matcha looked at the list on his phone. "Next is Zhao Xue. I hope Zhao Xue will not disappoint me."

In the United States.
Transmigrating in consciousness dimension, Amakusa laid on the sofa and looked at his new body. Then, he said, "This planet is interesting."
Amakusa sat in front of the desk and controlled the computer. "What a weird civilization. The race here seem to revere us greatly and even bred a large amount of subspecies. These subspecies evolved to become supercats.
Amakusa said, "Forget it. I should just control their leader, dominate their army, and rule the planet!" 
Giggle looked at the computer screen and said, "What is fun about ruling the planet? I have a better idea."
Amakusa asked, "What is it?"
Giggle said, "Have you seen the online games here?"
"Online games? What is that?" Amakusa said excitedly. "Oh ya, I just watched the Avengers. It was so funny. Do you want to watch it with me again?"
"Can't you use your energy for something more meaningful?" Giggle said. "Come let's figure out how to play this game together. I think we can use this to dominate the planet."
Amakusa answered, "There is nothing interesting about that. I shall watch it by myself then. It is so funny."
Then, a female voice sounded, "Jordan! David Beckham! It is time to eat!"
Amakusa was possessing a British Shorthair. He jumped up and licked his lips. "I've got to go. The humans are about to offer their offerings. I wonder what is there to eat." 
Amakusa jumped off the table causally and walked to the kitchen with his tail held high. "I need to be more graceful. These primitive people treat us like gods. We should maintain the pride and grace of gods so that they will continue to revere us."
"You should really try the online games. They are very useful for my future plans of ruling the planet."


"Let go of that kitty cat!"

A shooting star whizzed through the sky, causing countless super powers to appear on Earth.

However, the main characters that awaken during this phenomenon aren't humans, but cats...

During this event, this same thought appeared in the minds of countless cats: "Am I a god?"

Zhao Yao, an ordinary human, is the only person that can control these super cats.

TL's Intro：

Zhao Yao, the protagonist of the story, is the most ordinary man you could possibly imagine. Since graduating from college, he had been engulfed by his bureaucratic workplace and its toxic environment. To make things worse, he has neither a car, money nor a girlfriend. The only silver lining was his fat and lazy cat, Matcha, which provided a semblance of company and friendship.

However, things were about to change drastically for Zhao Yao and Matcha. One shooting star will transform their lives into anything but ordinary.



Speaking of social issues, the differences between China and Japan were fairly abundant. China was progressing very quickly, but its sense of social responsibility wasn't keeping up with their growing extravagance. No laws were put into effect to regulate such issues, and with the increasing number of dog owners, it only served to contribute to the problem.

However, many were starting to be conscious of the problem. Both young teenagers and seniors were now getting into the habit of picking up after their dog when out on walks. If every dog owner did their part, the world would become a better place.

Having dogs as pets was more troublesome than having cats because there was so much more to be worried about. When customers were unable to decide between a cat or dog, Zhang Zian always recommended cats because they're less bothersome.

Although it's said that one can never be too courteous, Masanori Suzuhara's courtesy was too much. She positioned herself as an inferior in order to show respect, which Zhang Zian wasn't accustomed to. Why was he suddenly the superior?

"I'm terribly sorry for taking your pictures without your consent and sending it to others."

"It's okay, you don't have to apologize. I give you my consent, okay?" Zhang Zian responded.

She bowed gratefully and said, "Thank you very much for being so generous! Pardon me for intruding, I shall take my leave now."

Zhang Zian waved. "Go on, you're going to catch a cold if you keep standing out here." 

Masanori Suzuhara lightly tugged her leash. "Snoopy, let's go."

Snoopy gave the inside of the pet store another affectionate look, before running off cheerfully.

Just as her figure disappeared at the end of the street, Lu Yiyun arrived. Wang Qian and Li Kun would arrive later, as they had a long day yesterday and went home late. 

Zhang Zian brought the broom with him as he headed back into the store. He decided to clean up the second floor and leave the first floor for when Wang Qian and Li Kun turned up. He always cleaned the second floor, more so after Pi appeared, he couldn't just let anyone go up to the second floor.

"Zhi zhi!"

Pi was still seated in front of the computer typing away. Hearing Zhang Zian, it turned around and grinned at him.

"Good morning, Pi!" Zhang Zian greeted Pi.

Mentally, Pi was better, but it still lost sleep whenever it was excited. At least now, it smiled from time to time.

"How's it going Pi? How many adds now?"

At this point, he was no longer worried about the question making Pi depressed.

Pi pointed at the screen.

"9,853? Just a little more until ten thousand!" Zhang Zian exclaimed, "Pi, you're going to have ten thousand readers soon!"

"Zhi zhi!" Pi leapt off the chair and did a few somersaults.

Zian could've never imagined Pi being so energetic. The Pi that used to be depressed because its novel wasn't doing well, was gone for good.

"Zhi zhi."

Zhang Zian had wanted to sweep the floor, but Pi stopped him from leaving. Pi pointed at the screen eagerly.

"Are you saying that you want me to watch the moment the adds reach ten thousand with you?" Zian guessed.

"Zhi zhi!" Pi nodded its head.

"Okay." Zhang Zian pulled over a chair and sat down.

Today was the last day of recommendations for the "Top Choices" category. Just as Zhang Zian expected, Pi easily made it through the first round of recommendations. If everything went as planned, Pi would get through the second and third round of recommendations.

"Ding, dong!"

A QQ alert suddenly rang out from Zhang Zian's phone. He tapped the notification to take a look. It was a message from the editor whose profile picture was of a small bald monk.

Editor: 120 reading lists, how did you do it?

Zhang Zian moved the phone away from Pi's view and replied truthfully: Went to the reading list and did some advertising.

Since the night he started advertising, 120 reading list owners added Pi's novel to their reading lists and recommended it to others. Even Zhang Zian, who had started this, was in shock, let alone the editor.
 
Editor: So the owners added your novel to their reading list?

Zhang Zian: Yes.

Zian wanted to correct him, to say that the novel wasn't his since Pi was the author, but there was no way he could explain everything. Yet, it felt like he was stealing the fruits of Pi's labor.

After a brief moment of silence, the editor replied: Keep it up!

Zhang Zian: Okay.

There were no more messages from the editor. Being an editor meant that he was in charge of a few hundred books, so they didn't have much time to chat, but Zhang Zian was still excited. From this moment on, Pi was no longer just a nobody.

"Zhi zhi." Pi shook Zhang Zian's arm and pointed towards a book review, urging him to take a look.

[Killed by a Sword]: We've created a Book Group, the group ID is 513717593. The group already has a number of members. To the author, come and join us!

"A book group?" Zhang Zian mumbled.

Quite a number of readers were asking if there was a Book Group, a space to allow readers who fancy the book to converse with one another. Zhang Zian always replied on Pi's behalf, telling them that there was no group. He also had no plans on creating a group as it was never clear if anyone would join. If they created a group and no one joined, that would be awkward.

"Zhi zhi?" Pi asked what a Book Group was.

Zian briefly explained and asked, "Pi, do you want to join a Book Group?"

There was neither consent nor dissent, Pi just stared blankly at the post.

Zhang Zian knew that Pi had always been lonely ever since it came to the pet store. He was unable to stay by Pi's side all the time, and the other elfins had things they liked to do. It wouldn't be right for him to ask them to sacrifice their time to keep Pi company. Everyone had their own likes and dislikes, they might not even have fun together. Zhang Zian had been trying his best to make time for Pi, but there's only so many hours in a day, it was never enough.

"Pi, why don't we join the group?" Zhang Zian, but Pi still refused to express an opinion, lowering its head.

Zhang Zian could guess what Pi was worried about. Previously in the book review section, readers had left offensive remarks because Pi was doing well and they questioned if Pi had used any immoral means. There were readers who skimmed through the book, then made derogatory remarks, believing that they found mistakes and plot holes. Pi was worried about what it should do if such people existed in the group?

"There's nothing to worry about Pi. You need to know that only a true fans would join the group. This person seems friendly and approachable, give it a try, if you don't like it you can quit. How about it? Just treat it like you're making new friends," Zhang Zian said carefully.

Pi dazed for a moment, turned to look at Zian. His mouth opened and closed, seeming to mouth the word "friend."

You were at school again. Seungkwan and Seokmin showed you the episode of Weekly Idol. You have no idea why Jungkook and his hyung, Jimin think of you as their ideal type but you are. Your and his fans started shipping you. There was a battle between ships. There's the ship between you and Jungkook and the other between you and Jimin. You started to get a lot of books between you and Jungkook.

Lunch arrived and again in the classroom. You see the door open. You quickly look away. You open your phone and saw pictures of Jungkook and you. You quickly turned your phone off and grabbed a book.

"I didn't know you can read upside down?" you felt your cheeks burn up. 

Fuck!

"hey....." you place the book down. You look up to see Jungkook staring at you.

"did you get to finish the dance?"

"yep! I'm learning FIRE now. It's kinda hard but I will get it sooner or later"

"you know I can help you? After school, we can go to the dance studio here at school and teach you"

"Are you sure? We both are idols and busy?"

"I think I can make room" he smiles.

"okay then after school it is" you smile back.

"great!" he takes a seat next to you. He leans closer towards you, looking at your open math textbook. His eyes leave the textbook and goes to you. 

"do you understand that question because I didn't?"

"Yeah. It's pretty easy"

"Mind teaching me?" he asks.

"sure!" you smiled.

Math and science are easy subjects to you. You taught yourself units that you were going to learn. You were the smartest person in your schools. Even in America, you were smart. Everyone wanted to be like you but here in Seoul, it was different. 

Anyways, you explain to Jungkook about the question but it felt like he was staring at you in a weird way.

After school, you headed towards the dance studio. Lucky, Hoshi had extra sweatpants and a shirt. You walked in and saw Jungkook dancing. You took a seat and admire his skills. After he finished, you applause.

"That was amazing!"

"You really think so?"he asks, scratching his head.

"Yep. No wonder why you're know as the golden maknae, you're amazing at everything"

"Expect school"

"I guess I'm the only maknae who's good in school"

"That's good though"

"Yeah I know"

"So wanna get started?" He ask.

"Sure. We don't have all day" You smiled.



After practice, you headed back home walking. You covered your face by wearing a mask and sunglasses. You made it to the studio. You walked in the drop your bags on the ground.

"They want you and me to do a dance together for an award ceremony next month" Hoshi said.

"Only you And me?"

"Yep"

"Cool! So partner what's the first step?"

"Um...I was waiting for you to decision it"

"Then let's start planning" You clapped your hands.

After 4 hours of practice, you decided to end it for today. You sat on the ground doing your homework as you wait for Jun to come with the food for you and Hoshi. Seungkwan comes in the room.

"Is it real?" He asks.

"What's real?"

"You and the golden maknae. Are you guys a thing?" 

"Ani"

"Then why are there pictures of you two together?" He hands you his phone to look at the pictures. The pictures where you two in the classroom and at the dance studio. You looked down at the comments.

I told u all that it's real! 

I wonder how long they have been dating?

Does Jiminie know that they're together?

(Y/N) has a kookie. What a lucky girl.

Why would Jungkook date her?  

'And there's the hate comments, I love.' You thought.

Ew (Y/N). I don't like her. She's doesn't fit Jungkook.

She's using him for fame!!

She's away better off leaving both Jimin and Jungkook.


"Why are you reading hate comments!?!" Seungkwan asks.

"Because I think they're funny"

"Noona, you're weird"

"You don't think I already knew that!"  Out of nowhere your phone rang. You answered it.

"Hello?"

*why didn't you tell me that you're in a relationship? With Jungkook!!!!!*(B/F/N) ask.

"Because I'm not. It's just rumors because he said I'm his ideal type when though I think IU fits him WAY better"

*I was gonna kill you if you don't invite to your guys wedding or see your baby*

"I'm 18!"

*so? My mom had me when she was 18*

"I'm not dating him or even having a baby with him. Understood?"

He had her scent all over his towel. He keep on sniffing it and kept it close to him. He smiles recalling what happened today.

"Short break?" He asked.

"Yes please" she fell into the ground. He took his towel out of his bag and gave it to (Y/N).

"Oh thank you" she said taking the towel and wipe her sweat off. He took the towel back from her and took a seat next with her. She rest her head on his shoulder.

For convenience's sake, I will also put them here from now on.
This is the list as from 1 December 2019, and whatever titles I remember from previous recommendations. I will upload the earlier recommendations when I have the time (and amidst editing after the novel ends).
Below includes free and those that became contracted after it had been recommended (note, it wasn't because I recommended it, okay). heh. 
Also, note. At the time I recommend, I try to choose novels that will continue. However, whether it does, or not, is beyond my control. I bear no responsibility if the Author disappears, or if they do dro the novel (I don't like when that happens either, so I know the feeling).  
So any novels that I did recommend before, but hasn't updated for more than two months, I will not put in this list.
Free Novels (Alphabetical Order)
1. Immaculate Spirit by Newbiel (Magical Realism), Ongoing - Nathaniel, a teenage artistic genius in a coma for four years. Reawakened with another soul attached (Marc, CIA agent extraordinaire). It has music, action (spy and terrorist stuff). No regular updates, grammar is not perfect but in later chapters, there are editors (on and off). 
2. No Matter How Long Time Passes, I still Love you by Sweetflowlips (Romance), Ongoing - This is a refreshing take on the usual 'marry cold man - divorce' novels. First off, FL doesn't end up with the useless ex-husband and secondly, she's not such a wimp or flopping fish. /heh
3. Perfect match, Secret Marriage by caremel (Romance), Completed - 420 Chapters. 
4. The Prodigy: I Was Reborn And To Become A Saintess by _AngelGrace_(Fantasy Romance), Ongoing - A prodigy was reborn in a world of magic, into the body of a 'useless' Saintess - or so everyone thought. See how she overcomes the plots against her, makes herself powerful and collects men to her like bees to honey. Looks like reverse harem at the moment, but may be just one ML. There's magic, a bit of nation-building. Updates unstable but Author says will not drop.
5. TheUnion by CreamAndCookies (Fantasy), Completed -291 Chapters. It is fantasy medieval. Has romance, kingdom building and all the political intrigues. 
6. The Witch CEO is NOT a Demoness by SayuriHyuuga (Romance), Completed - 146 Chapters. FengJui, CEO and known to be like a dragon. Gets drunk, finds herself having a one-night stand (this may be viewed as r*pe since she was drunk) with a 'vagabond' (who is actually another CEO) that won't leave her alone now. R18.

1. Genius Seventh Prince by LazySky (Fantasy), Ongoing - Greyson was born as the talented seventh prince of the small Ley Kingdom in the desolate Snow Country but he ended up an orphan at a local church in the neighboring kingdom. Hi. Thanks for dropping by. Please bear in mind that I am a new author, and English is not my first language. I am writing because I find it enjoyable, and am only now finding the courage to actually pen it out for others to read.

This is a rebirth story of a girl who had lived one life, and will experience another. Follow her along her journey of discovery: of herself, as she walks an entirely new path. Yet, at the same time, she seeks to find closure from her old life. 

World background: Current Earth, with names of countries being just Country J, Country SA etc. 

First, the MC is the typical OP character. Second, it's a slice of life story mixed with OPness of MC. If you don't like Gary Sue / OP characters, with a slow story pace, then this is not for you. 

There are elements of adventure/action, romance, some comedy and a little bit of mystery.  It is also a story about friendship and the bonds we make as we grow up.

With Hazel as their guide, the group made their way out of the castle and onto the streets of the city. It was a lot more crowded and bustling than any other place they had been to before. 
While the streets were wider, there were still more people on them, hence it was common for people to bump into one another. Something about this felt familiar to Vy, but she paid it no mind. Her focus was on getting a suitable dress. 
It did not take long before they arrived at the first shop, but before they could even enter, the staff member stationed at the door turned them away. 
"My sincerest apologies, but our shop is swarmed with customers at the moment," the staff member said as she bowed.
True to her words, the shop was packed with people taking measurements and selecting dresses. Hazel did not panic, she remained calm and simply directed them to the next shop. But Lady Luck was not on their side for all the shops they had visited turned them away. 
While Vy was certain some of the shops still had space for them, she roughly knew why they were turned away. The difference in the clothes they were wearing and that of those work by the nobles were vastly different.
Vy's outfits were not shabby or torn, but they were well travelled. She was not wearing the long flowing dresses that were trending on the high streets of the Capital. She did not wear expensive jewellery and some might say, her dragon necklace looked a little tribal. 
Hazel never once said anything, she did not see any issue with the way they were dressed. But as they were being turned away by more and more shops, it became painfully clear why they were turned away. 
Even Lycster could feel it. As they walked down yet another street, Lycster tugged on Vy's sleeve.
"Maybe we shouldn't go," he said.
Vy looked down at the young boy. He had been so excited to attend his first Ball. But the fruitless search was dampening his spirits. 
Vy stopped in her tracks and gave Lycster a smile, "We should and we must. Atleast I want to go. It would be fun and it would be a lot less fun if you and Elette weren't there."
Knowing that there was no point in walking around endlessly, Vy asked Hazel, "Hazel, must our outfits come from the appointed list of shops?"
"No, Miss Vyrena. It's just that the appointed list is recommended. And the bill payment is made from the Royal Funds," Hazel replied.
Vy nodded, "In that case, we have nothing to worry about, any shop that has what we need will do."
Looking up at the sky, it was clear that it was almost dinner time. 
"Hazel, do you have any recommendations?" Vy asked.
"Recommendations?"
"Yes, for any tailor or seamstress who would be able to make us some outfits. They don't have to be on the list."
Hazel looked a little flustered, there was something she wanted to say or ask but she held herself back. Was it rude to ask if they could afford it? Hazel was not one to judge, but Vy and her siblings did not look like they came from wealth. 
Vy seemingly sensed Hazel's discomfort. But she did not want to come across as rude either. Looking around at the shops around them, Vy noticed a shop that was serving a customer who looked strikingly familiar. 
Without any hesitation, Vy walked into the shop and was surprised to see a familiar face. 
But before she called out to him, the man realised Vy had recognized him. Something told her he did not want the people to know his real identity, so she pretended not to know him. 
"Welcome, Miss, are you looking for a dress," a bubbly girl came up to her and asked. 
"Yes, I am looking for some outfits for the Masked Ball. Would you happen to be able to recommend me some styles and fabric," Vy asked.
"Miss Vyrena… I don't mean to be rude but…" Hazel wanted to tell her how expensive these materials and outfits were going to be. 
The bubbly girl had Vy's full attention as she not only introduced herself, but also made multiple recommendations. All Hazel could do, was helplessly watch as the bubbly girl recommended fabrics and styles of dresses. 
She brought out a leather bound book, filled with various designs for Vy to pick from.
"So if you were to get this design for example, with this material and the matching shoes and jewelry pieces I mentioned, that would come out to be…" the girl took a moment to calculate the costs, "It would be about 1,400 silver coins or 28 gold coins."
Hazel gulped as sweat trickled down her forehead. The man, who had been discussing the details of his outfit with the owner of the shop, could hear the entire conversation. He did not say anything, he was interested to find out Vy's reply. 
Hazel had kept her head low the entire time, but she could not resist the urge to sneak a peek at the expressions of the guests she was looking after. She was surprised to see that there was no sign of disbelief. 
The little girl was continuously marvelled by the amazing fabric and decor of the shop, while the older boy simply listened in on the conversation without much thought. What was wrong with these people? Has it not dawned upon them just how expensive the outfit would be?
A maid like her would never be able to afford such a luxurious outfit in her lifetime, maybe not even in two lifetimes!
"Do you take transfers from Interbank," Vy asked. 
Hazel looked up at Vyrena at once. Interbank. She had heard of this place before! It was only reserved for some of the wealthiest people! 
"Oh, I will need to check that…" the girl turned over to the shop owner, who gave her a nod, "Ah yes, looks like we do!"
Vy nodded and requested for outfits for Lycster and Elette. Both of them got to pick out the outfits they liked the most, while Vy flipped through the design book that the girl had shown her. She had always wanted to get some pieces of clothing made, but she had not found the place that had the style she was looking for. 
Dotty, who had circled around the shop, looking through the fabrics alongside them, sat on Vy's shoulder as she flipped through the designs. 
<Vy?>
-Yes?-
<You do know that's King Olwin, right?> 
Dotty gave the cutest expression, easily melting anyone's heart. That brought a smile to Vy's face as she nodded. 


“Did you just reply me?”

“You can talk? You can converse with me?”

Vyrena was amazed. She knew from the memories of the host that this has never happened before. This was new.
