Grace is simply miserable, first year of high school and she's heading towards breakdown. She's visible but invisible, she's trying to break out into the real world of adventure. With no friends, so much quiet, so many side crushes and nothing going right for her she starts to unravel her bold and beautiful self and will she finally learn to embrace the true beauty of her chaotic life or is she just gonna go downhill?

When a number of students go missing Grace Mia and their friends get suspicious and start investigating and what they find is much bigger than a few missing students

Everybody hated walking up on a Monday morning and so did Grace P. Santillan. There was no work for the last three days and she was fine waking up late. However, she needed to hurry up as the school physician informed her yesterday that they should be reporting not later than 6.30 the following morning. She stared for a long time at her beeper, wondering what the fuss was all about.

Against her will, she rose up, made her bed, took a long shower, ate a low-carb breakfast, and hurried to school. Grace was the school nurse at Subangdaku Elementary School. While her superior Dr. Jose P. Gatbunton simply delegated almost all tasks to her, Grace was untiring in giving her service to the school. It was always to her that the kids run up to whenever some medical attention was needed. They loved her, particularly that she was kind and modest. Though she moved slow, she was always precise and meticulous with her actions. She believed that there was no room for mistakes for people like her. Other than her commendable work ethics, she also looked pretty, demure, and really young at 25. Unlike her, Dr. Gatbunton was loud and careless. Despite being in his mid-40s, he looked older with his gray and untidy hair, unkempt clothes, and oversized glasses. He also always kept himself locked in the clinic office, leaving Grace to do all the chores. In fact, the students and teachers rarely saw him but they knew he was present because his old tan car was always parked by the clinic.

Grace had no issues working with Dr. Gatbunton. Subangdaku was a small rural district that there was actually not much things to do everyday, except when there were scheduled medical activities. Besides, she enjoyed the company of kids. She had no problem whatsoever dealing with children of any age, possibly because she had a number of little siblings.

Back at home, she had two little brothers and one younger sister. The girl was already in college, taking up education. Grace hoped she could graduate that school year. The older brother was a freshman in high school while the younger one was in fifth grade. Life was hard for the family and so Grace needed to contribute in the family's funds. Both her parents were engaged in small businesses whose income were not always reliable. Thus, Grace felt obligated to help, especially to her younger sister.

So despite the temptation of her bed and the cryptic message of Dr. Gatbunton, Grace arrived at the primary school with a smile on her lips and a sleepy glow in her eyes. She loved her family enough to work hard, and she loved the kids enough to work with a lively and gentle spirit.

Her watch said 6:20 and Grace sighed a relief. Dr. Gatbunton might be an airy and incautious boss but she did not want to act badly. She did not want him to comment anything not good about her. Besides, Dr. Gatbunton had already arrived in the clinic. Gently, Grace parked her bicycle beside the doctor's car and went inside the building. Oh yes, Grace drove her bike when going to work. Like most people in Subangdaku, Grace grew up wandering the streets of Subangdaku in a bike. She already relinquished her old bicyle to their youngest brother, in exchange of a new one which was more feminine in appearance. 

"Good morning, Doctor," Grace said upon entering the doctor's office and gave him a sweet smile. She had earlier left her things in the consultation area and hurriedly went to report to the doctor. 

"Good morning, Grace," Dr. Gatbunton greeted back without looking at her.

He was talking to two people before Grace entered. They did not look familiar to her and she tried to hide her wonder as best as she could. For a year working in the school clinic, the doctor only had few visitors, like some local goverment officials or loved ones, so in a way, she had already memorized their faces.

"Do you need any help, Doc?" she inquired.

"Yes, we have plenty to do today. You better wash up and get dressed."

"Yes, Doc," she replied meekly and went out of the office.

Grace could not help but wonder who the visitors were and what would they be busy with during the day. Immediately, she proceeded to the dressing room and donned her nurse's garb. She tied her hair and she looked even lovelier with her cute bun. After she was done, she went back to the doctor's office.

"Grace," Dr. Gatbunton began, "we have some people here from the local health center. Cecilia and Tara will be assisting us in giving flu shots to the kids, and possibly to the whole community if ever an outbreak happens."

Grace could not believe what she had heard. The school did not usually administer flu shots, though October would be best since the flu months were coming. But what was more unusual was the doctor's last words. She could not answer in shock.

"You see, Miss Grace," Cecilia spoke up without being acknowledged, "a meteor just landed here in the district. It could contain allergens and unknown substances that could trigger different ailments, particularly those affecting the respiratory system of the body."

"Dr. Alvarado, the great scientist, met up with the health officials yesterday," Tara added. "In the emergency meeting, he recommended to take precautionary measures to prevent possible spread of diseases caused by the meteor. The mayor agreed and we are here to assist in conducting these measures."

Grace recovered from her initial shock and listened to the two women. Only then she was able to size up the two. While Cecilia looked regal and authoritative, Tara was cheeky and aggressive. The former seemed to be in late thirties while the latter appeared to be at the same age with her. Both were beautiful but the older one was more restrained and proud while the younger was tactless and playful.

"It's going to be really a big task ahead," Grace commented with a smile while trying to hide what was playing inside her head. "How are we going to accomplish it?"

The visitors discussed the process with Grace while the doctor simply listened at his seat, surreptitiously glancing at their direction from time to time as he flipped through the pages of what appeared to be a magazine or journal. After which, the women hurried to their stations and began doing their individual tasks. Before they called the children, Cecilia went out of the clinic. She took the pager from her sling bag and typed "DONE."

She looked at the kids who were queued going to the clinic. She smiled a genial smile, but behind that, an evil thought lurked.

Situated between a large river and verdant mountains, Subangdaku is a peaceful and laid-back community. For the Biker Brothers - Jamie, Tonton, Bogart and Kiko, life in the district was all fun and easy. Until something happens.....

Two "meteors" hit the once quiet district. In the succeeding days, scientists and media flocked in Subangdaku, disturbing its serenity and bringing changes to the community. How far can the people face the challenges?

Meanwhile, a girl with golden locks arrives in the primary school. She swept the hearts and eyes of everyone, including the Biker Brothers. Yet, the four friends felt something is really off about her. Who is she? What are her secrets?

As Subangdaku embraces the consequences of the "meteor" impact, the Biker Brothers must race to confront the changes within them. As evil lurks and intends to destroy the townspeople, the boys must speed to stop it with the help of their friends and loved ones. Will they triumph? Or will the evil simply destroy them?

Hillary wanted to feel everything at once. Carrie stood by her car hooting (like it was a song), her lips wide with happiness. 
Hillary closed her eyes for a moment, then walked deliberately slowly towards the car. 
Both women hugged each other so tightly they could hardly breathe. 

"It has been so long..too long Hills" Carrie cried. "Not that my pain can compare to yours but I have lived in hell". 
"Can you ever forgive me Hills?"
"You can't ask me that"
"I know..."
They both sniffled and smiled. "Let's go home"
"Drive by my parents first" Hillary said. "I need to see her"
"I know. I just thought you'd like to freshen up to see your daughter"
Hillary's heart skipped a beat. Her daughter. Nova.
Her dead husband's parents had wanted her to be sentenced to death for the murder of Sam. Until they learnt she was pregnant. Hillary closed her eyes and dreamt of the past.

She had met the news with mixed emotions. Pregnant. She was pregnant for that beast of a husband she had. Sam had made her life miserable. They got married when she was 21. Sam Wells came from a wealthy real estate business family. She had been drawn to his smile and the promises he made - a total cliché.  She had wanted to escape the life at home. Her parents doted on her younger sister Marley so much, Hillary had felt left out. 

Hillary and Marley Trent were not exactly two ends of a pole, but they were quite different. Hillary was tough and stern while Marley was the sweet docile baby girl her mother wanted. it had been love at first sight for their parents.

The love both daughters received were totally different. Hillary was tasked with chores and even taking care of Marley. Their parents believed in having the best education but Hillary was not one for books. She wanted to open a coffee shop and bake. Her parents had been sorely disappointed. Marley, however, was so book smart. Always one of the top three in her class, teachers had compared them all the time (they had been classmates at a certain time). Hillary's parents were proud of Marley. They made Hillary do all the chores and devoted their savings to furthering Marley's education.  "I am just two years older than she is..." Hillary used to think dejectedly. 

She decided she would get married early to start her own family and give her children so much love. she swore she wouldn't play favorites with her own kids when she had them. She met Sam while hunting for college. Boy meets girl then boom! A love story. A catastrophic love story for another day.

While in high school, Hillary's best friend, Grace Dennis was the cool kid. She had many friends and always managed to be in one trouble or another. Hillary, not one for trouble, had to always save Grace's neck. Until one day.

It was chemistry class. Grace and Hillary crushed on the chemistry teacher and always sat in front. That's the only class where Hillary decided that front row is the best. On this day, Hillary came in early and saved a spot for Grace. Grace rarely makes class early. She takes the back gate through a hole they discovered close to an old school building. Both girls hang out there to share their stories, secrets and tried smoking there once. Hillary had hated it. Class started, still no show. Hillary decided to go look for Grace at their hangout. Dust and debris still fell as she approached quietly, then she heard voices. 

"....and what do you know about that?" - a male voice said
"nothing" Grace answered shakily.
"What's your name?" - the first voice asked
"Hillary Trent" - Grace reluctantly answered. 
"Well, Hillary. You also caught me. This girl stole something from me. I was just trying to scold her"

Hillary was taken aback. Grace must be in danger. she was torn between running to get help and leaving her friend. She decided quickly. Looking around, she saw stones but none was big enough to render an adult helpless. She was beginning to sweat. She moved closer to the voices. 

" But she is bleeding"
"It's just a little blood. She will be okay"
"What are you going to do to me?"
"Do you want to end up like her? " he sneered creepily. Then he kicked the girl sprawled on the ground. 
Suddenly the girl bit the man on his leg. He screamed in pain and dropped the long stick he had. Then he grabbed the girl by the hair and repeatedly punched her. Grace, in her panic, looked around and saw Hillary beckoning. However, Grace picked up the wood and hit the guy twice. He collapsed on the floor and passed out. 

Hillary ran towards Grace. Grace wouldn't stop crying. "What happened? " exclaimed Hillary. "omg, Hillary. I think I killed him".
"omg!, who is she? what happened?"
"I came to check you here and walked in on him beating up the girl"
"Is she okay?" Hillary wanted to run away but couldn't stop staring at the girl. She touched the man's chest. "He's not dead"
"Let's run away Hillary"
"We can't just leave her. What if he wakes up?"
"I don't know...oh God!"

Hillary pulled the girl by her shoulders. Grace lifted her legs. They dragged her out into the open. Classes were still ongoing. 
"Hillary, what do we do now?"
"We need to get the teachers and the police. Grace you stay with her, let me get a nurse from the health department. Then we can go report to the principal together. Hillary rushed quickly to the school clinic. In few minutes, she rushed back with some medics wheeling a bed for the sick. 
Hillary noticed that Grace had disappeared. 

The girl was wheeled away into a waiting ambulance as her injuries were too much for the clinic. The nurses asked her for a report. She told them what she knew. Then the head nurse walked with her to the principal's office to report. They asked her to lead the way to where the man was. He was gone by the time she got there.
She then ran to the class to get her bag and Grace. Another session had begun. She asked some of their mates if anyone saw Grace. "Did she come today?" many asked. Hillary searched all the rest rooms. 

Hillary walked back to the principal's office. She asked to call Grace's home. Grace's mother picked. It was put on speaker. Thank God!  
"Hello, Mrs Dennis. This is Hillary. Is Grace at home?"
"Of course she is home. She felt under the weather earlier and couldn't come to school today"
"uh? Can i speak to her ma'am?"
"No. she's not well. She'll see you in school when she is fine." she hung up.

Something is not right here. "Please let me go to her home to check on her. There must have been a mistake."
"Are you sure it wasn't you that beat up that girl?" the nurse asked.
" Would i have run to get you if I did?"
"That place is out of coverage. We can't verify any of what you said."
" How is that my fault?"
The principal raised his hand to stop them. He had been deep in thought. "Why did you go there Hillary?"
"Grace and I hangout there sometimes. We had a class and I went to get her"
"Why would you go get her?"
"I can't explain that to you. it was important for her to be in class". Their secret crush was their secret alone.
The principal sent for the Chemistry teacher. He verified that Hillary had left the class at a certain time but he didn't see Grace at all. Hillary was detained and her parents were called.

"What about the girl?" the principal asked the nurse.
"One of the school nurses is with her. The nurse recognised her as one of the senior students. She comes in with sprained wrists and hurt fingers a lot. She's a trouble maker too, that one."

"What is she saying about this incident?"

"Nothing. She never tells the nurses how she gets injured. I hear she lives with her mother and step father"

"Have you called them?"
"They don't have a registered number"
"Great!" the principal retorted sarcastically. 

Hillary's father went to the principal's office while they got her out of the detention center. Her father was livid. 
"so, what, you are doing drugs now?"
"what?" Hillary looked at the principal. 
"We found marijuana where you said a man would be found"
"I don't know anything about that."
"Well, the doctors also found traces of this with the injured girl. Are you sure it was not a case of weed purchase gone wrong?"
Hillary didn't answer. She just thought to herself. " Grace"
"Well Mr. Trent, we will be making a full investigation on this as one of our senior students is badly injured. Hillary should be kept at home during this time."
"understood" 

He walked out with Hillary.
"Dad, I didn't do any of that. Grace was in trouble. I had to help her"
"Well where is Grace now?"
"I called her home. Her mom said she's sick. Something about that is not right. Dad, let me go see her"
"You are not going anywhere Hillary. Your mother should know you're smoking weed now."

No one would believe her. There was no one where she said a man was. There was no trace of Grace in the school on that day. The injured girl was not talking. She was a total disappointment to her parents. Yet, she held on. Grace would come around. She just needed time. 

After two weeks, Hillary was called in to face the School Discipline Committee. There was Grace and her mother, Hillary and her father and the girl they saved. A woman sat by the girl, Hillary assumed she's her mother. Hillary looked at Grace. Grace wouldn't meet her eyes. 

They asked the senior girl questions. She wouldn't answer their questions. Then her mother shoved her. "Hillary Trent and I fought over something." she muttered. That was the only name she remembered. She remembered the girl had said she's Hillary Trent while her step father beat her up. She felt sorry but her mother wouldn't let her say the truth.

Grace's mother spoke up. "I don't know why Hillary keeps mentioning Grace. Grace was not in school. The doctor's report is here." She handed the report to the head of the committee. "Grace is an excellent student. I don't know why she would hang with a girl like her".

"Hillary, what do you have to say?"
Hillary was so shocked but she was calm. Grace was not speaking. She remembered truly that Grace had given her name to that man. Who was he and why is that girl protecting him? 

"Who is he and why are you protecting him?" Hillary asked.
They girl wouldn't answer. 

"Grace?" Hillary looked at Grace. She was wearing a black leather jacket they both used to admire and said they would save money to get on their way home. 

"Your jacket looks nice.." Hillary said.
Grace started crying.

"She's threatening my daughter" Mrs Dennis exclaimed. The committee asked them to leave as there was no reason for them to be there. The girl had mentioned only one name- Hillary's. 

"We found marijuana at some spots around where you had a fight. Who did it belong to?"

"It's not mine and I didn't fight with anyone" said Hillary

The girl looked at Hillary. This girl's voice is stronger than the girl who was talking while she had been injured. But she remembered seeing her face when she lifted her. So who was this girl and who was the girl her step father caught with weed?

"It was mine." The girl answered.

The committee sighed with relief. It had taken too long, they wanted to return to their schedules. They made a decision to expel the girl and suspend Hillary for a session. Hillary's father thanked them as they walked out of the room. At least she wasn't expelled. He walked out, leaving Hillary to go home by herself.

Hillary just sat there, quiet and confused. Then she heard a slap. The other girl's mother hit across the face and walked out, looking at Hillary like dirt before storming out. 

Hillary stared at the girl. She looked at Hillary and managed a weak smile. 

"Are you really Hillary?" She asked.
"Wow...what a question after getting me suspended"

"Well my step father caught you with weed. You shouldn't smoke weed. You deserved that"
"That was not me!"
"But the person said her name was Hillary. "
"That was Grace. She's my best friend"

"I guess, now it's 'was' "
"What do you mean? "
"She was your best friend" . 

Hearing that, Hillary's tears stung her eyes. She understood what happened to Grace. Grace's parents were so restrictive that Grace felt suffocated. She had started picking bad habits up because she felt rebellious. Yet she was a smart girl. Hillary always felt proud of her smart friend that she let her get away with some of these things. Each home with its own trouble. 

She was sure that Grace had gotten weed into the school now. She must have walked in on that man hitting the girl and he found the weed on her. This girl said the man is her step father. Well, no one would believe her anymore...she couldn't tell anyone about this.

So this girl is protecting her step father right? Well, she would also protect Grace. She wasn't very school keen anyway. It's only right that Grace should not have any hiccups with school. It's worth it for her best friend.

"I think we should leave now" the girl said.
"I...uh...i am sorry you were expelled"
"it's not your fault. I am sorry you were suspended for what you didn't do too. But no one would believe us if we changed our stories now. Hillary, right? I will see you around."

"What's your name?"

"Carrie. Carrie Hughley. Bye Hills"

How will Hillary, a released prisoner, reconnect with the most precious person in her life?  How far can you go for your friend? What do you do when the truth is too horrible to tell?

"Time for a club meeting!" a tall, older girl with long blonde hair and emerald green eyes called out. She must be the "founder" that Grace told her about.

Everyone else in the room gathered around. There weren't that many people actually, since it's a new club. Besides August and Grace, there are only about four other people--Iris Indigo, a 9th Grader who dresses like she's attending a funeral, Reagan Chase, some guy with a camera, Jamie Hayden, a guy who couldn't keep his eyes open for at least five minutes before the meeting even started, and finally, the de facto leader or president of this club, Weiss Addams. 

After a short introduction and discussion about the president's plans on making this an official club she turns to Grace and August.

"So tell me, what exactly motivated you to join the film-making club?" Weiss asked.

"Grace's incessant pleas." August replied with a straight face. Weiss could only smile awkwardly while Grace laughed her ass off. 

"Hey! I'm just tryna get this thing going!" She raises her hands then turns to August and pokes her on the side, she doesn't flinch even a little bit. "And I got this feeling that you'll do pretty well on stage."

August couldn't help but smirk at that. Well on stage?

"I'm flattered, but no." August said. "I don't--"

"Hang on." Iris interrupted. And she speaks! August has been waiting all morning to hear her say something. "Aren't you that dancer?? Bisset?" she said, eyeing August up and down.

"No?" August lied. There was no need to tell them, she intended to see them only on club meetings, no more than that so relay of information like this was unnecessary to her. 

It was like she was backed into a corner, but before anyone else could utter a single word, the bell rang; talk about saved by the bell! 

"Look at the time!" August said, pointing to her imaginary wristwatch. "I've gotta go! See you guys next meeting!" as she dashes out the door.

August wasn't sure why she denied that; being a dancer at Bisset should be something to be proud of! Why was she trying to hide it? Was it the attention it could get her? August shook her head. Next time she'll tell them. Though, to be honest, August's only motivation to go back to BIsset was Zephyr alone. 

She felt someone elbow her lightly and turned to see Grace, "Don't you think it's kinda cruel how they'd just grab sheep brains and dissect them for a bunch of high school brats like us?" she asked quietly.

August reluctantly, nodded

Grace laughed. 

Okay? August decided to ignore what that was all about and turned back to Mr. Lars' demonstration.

"Grace, I'd appreciate it if you'd listen more to me rather than your earphones." Mr. Lars called out not even looking at her; everyone else turned to her. Grace grumbled as she put away her earphones.

Lars puts away the scalpel and pulled the brain apart carefully.

"Any more questions?" he asked, upon finishing as he removed the gloves.

Most of the students shook their heads.

"Good."

He instructed everyone to grab a partner and proceed to their tables while he went out with another student to get the rest of the sheep brains.

Five more minutes. Everyone was paired and all the utensils, tools and whatnot was prepared for their activity.

August thought she saw the brain on their table swell. Grace just poked it with her ungloved hand, her partner grimaced. "Put some gloves on or something!"

Grace's nose scrunched up as she withdrew her hand. "Ugh, that's disgusting..... But also pretty cool."

August decided to ignore that and put on her gloves to begin.

As the students did their work, Mr. Lars walked around the room, observing. He frowned seeing Grace play with the brain when August looked away for a second.

The two got into a brief argument that Mr. Lars would rather not interfere with. Other than that, everything else went smoothly... Fortunately.

The school day flew by as usual, August went to the school exit to go home only to be stopped by Grace who invited her to come join the girls out at the mall. August knew that look on her face, if she didn't give in, Grace would continue to pester her for the rest of the evening. 

She sighed inwardly remembering the last time she's been to the mall--that was yesterday! 

"Alright." August said finally, making Grace jump for joy.

As the girls in front of her chatted about clothes, boys, music and shopping. August was just... Out of place. That's when Weiss brought up something about pointe shoes.

August's eyes lit up. "I know a good shoemaker who lives around here."

Weiss glanced at her, rather surprised. "I could've guessed you were a ballerina from the way "you'd sit and move around."

August laughed. "A ballerina is always stretching--"

"No matter what we do." Weiss finished with a laugh. The other girls looked at them weirdly.

"Okay?" Grace said. "Can we just go grab something to eat?"

"I knew it!" Iris almost jumped at August. "You are her aren't you? August Lovelace? You danced at least once at Bisset!"

August donned the face of pure obliviousness. "What makes you think--"

"Cut the crap, it's definitely you." Iris interrupted.

Weiss was speechless, amazed but at a loss for words--a dancer from the elite ballet school? The Bisset Opera? 

"I didn't think anyone would actually remember the dancers' names." August said, glancing at Iris who smirked. 

"I like watching ballet a lot!" She explained as they continued walking past a shop filled with stuffed animals. Weiss stopped for a minute to see one of the panda stuffed animals up close. 

Grace shook her head. "I really wanna eat now!"

Iris laughed; which was the first time August has ever seen her do since meeting her a few hours ago. "If I like the dancer, I'll remember her name." the Goth finished. 

"You enjoyed my performance then?" August queries with anticipation in her eyes.

Iris nodded. "Can we get something to eat now? I'm starving!"

Grace shot daggers at each one of them and flailed her arms. "That's what I've been trying to tell you all earlier!!"

The girls chatted as they ate--except for Grace who was too busy stuffing her face with food. The others however, went on and on about music, dance, shoes and of course--ballet. Weiss grumbled about how difficult it had been to find the shoe that fits.

"I just can't stand it!" Weiss grumbled. "Literally!"

August laughed. "Where did you say you studied ballet again?"

"Just a small dance school across town called Katarina's Ballet Studio." Weiss replied, taking a spoonful of mashed potatoes.
August mouthed and "Oh." before going back to eating her carbonara. 

Weiss sighed. "It must've been a dream, dancing up there with the whole town watching and spotlight focused on you alone! I'd give anything to dance at Bisset! Or anywhere for that matter!"

That's quite a surprise--a shock in fact. August had always viewed Weiss as an overachiever like herself. From what she heard, Weiss Addams is a force to be reckoned with; excellent in academics, talented in music and sports, has a knack for being a leader--heck, she's heard that Weiss has run for Student Council President and won for three consecutive years. Losing was not a word in her vocabulary! And she is really nice and gentle; quite popular amongst the students of Prydemount. 

Alas there was a big difference between them. It suddenly occurred to her...

"Weiss?" August parted her lips. "Why didn't you run for Student Council President this year?"

She didn't answer right away and gave a moment of thought before smiling. "I wanted to do something less stressful this year and--"

Weiss didn't finish, her eyes averted elsewhere along with the rest of the people in the diner to the TV when their usual evening show was interrupted. 

"We're sorry to interrupt you with this breaking news!"

Pictures and footages were shown on screen. Thick, black smoke billowed into the dark evening sky, flames roared as the firemen aimed their hoses at the collapsing building.

Grace's hand fell limp, the glass of iced slipped out of her grasp and fell to the ground, shattering on the hard floor, grabbing the attention of everyone else in the place.

She stood there, frozen in place as she bore her eyes into the TV screen. All the girls looked at her, confused. Before they could say anything, Grace bolts out the door, in such a rush that she had forgotten her things. 

All the girls exchanged a look and grabbed their things--Grace's included--and rushed out the door to follow her. Iris was the last one out and left a small tip before she went to catch up to them.

In the present day an eccentric artist and his muse moves in to the small, quiet town of Chapter Park where they find that they're not the only ones with dark secrets.

Margret felt a tad bit hazy as she woke up. She had no idea why she had a kink in her neck. She rose up a little, supporting herself with an elbow and massaging her neck with her other hand. Struggling to open her eyes, she wondered why couldn't feel her pillow, or why her bed felt hard like the floor, and why her shirt felt soaked. Slowly, she opened her eyes to a shocking realization. 
The cold eyes of a lifeless Sylvester staring back at her! 
She became fully awake instantly. Sickened by pool of blood all over her, she quickly jumped to her feet, tossing the stretched arm of the body waywards. 
She started walking backwards, her steps in sync with the rhythm her pounding heart was making till she reached the book shelf separating her from the wall. 
Immediately, images began flashing to her head, and the pounding in her chest increased with every horror she saw. The horror of what she had done.

Not one of the girls made mention of what really happened that night to Joana. They had all left Veronica's house that night perplexed and angry, mostly angry. And while Joana was giving them the next day the full gist of how her anniversary date with John had gone, they barely said half of what really happened.
Grace wanted to Joana to know little to save herself the embarrassment she would receive from her. But most importantly, they had all agreed to keep it a secret so she wouldn't know about the act of betrayal her twin had committed. 
So when Joana asked how the party, they only gave outbursts about how Veronica was a liar, how the party wasn't really a party at all and how they should have listened to her and stayed away in the first place. And the story was enough for a while, they had all gone back to their usual lives the next Monday and Veronica was on her own too, like it never happened. Everything was like it was supposed to be. Until Friday.
It was very unlikely for Margret to ever miss school. She was the most serious student among the four girls and although that Friday there was nothing academic to do in school because of the big football game their school had against Lakeville to determine the champion of the Interschool football cup competition, they had all agreed the evening before to be in school to watch together their school try to make history by winning for the first time ever. 
It was already starting to be a sunny afternoon. The sun was lashing it's rays on the grass of the open field and the players as well as a few of the spectators who couldn't find shades but it didn't bother anyone, the atmosphere was perfect. 
The game was already fifteen minutes in already and Margret hadn't responded to any of their texts and calls and they were getting worried.
"Have you tried her number again?" Joana asked June, trying to raise her voice above the cheering and and the music that came from the trumpets and drums. Her worry over Margret divided her attention from watching and cheering on her boyfriend. 
"Yeah, still nothing." June answered. She was the most worried of the three girls. Ever since that night, she felt that something was going to happen, that it wasn't over yet. And that feeling terrified her. 
She shrugged. No matter what happens she had to conceal her fears, for Joana's sake. For her sake. 
She looked at Grace who apparently was absent minded. 
"How about you?"
Grace in hearing June, withdrew her eyes from who they were watching, Veronica. Like June, she had imagined things weren't over with Veronica and she made it her duty to watch the new girl everytime she had the chance. 
"What?" She had asked looking at June, then immediately remembered Margret. She threw a glance at phone and realized Margret was calling. "Oh! She's calling."
June and Joana gave sighs of relief. 
Grace put the phone to her ear. 
"Hello? Babe where have--"
"Help! Please, come to my house. Now!" Margret said with a shaky voice then hung up. 
"What's going on?" Joana asked. 
"We have to leave now. Come on."

Sneaking out of school was quite easier than they thought. They had a lecture free week that week because of their extracurricular activities and the big game. And at that time, the gateman didn't care who walked into the school or who left. No questions asked.
They quickly boarded a shuttle taking them to Margret's street and walked the rest of the way to her front door. 
No one responded to the Margret's door when the girls knocked and Grace with so much impatience in her had kicked the door open to find Sylvester lying on the floor, a pool of dry blood on the rug surrounding his body and a frightened Margret who had as much blood on her too. 
"My God!" Joana exclaimed at the horror before her eyes. 
June covered her gaping mouth with her hands to prevent herself from screaming. Her worst fears were coming true. 
Grace although shocked, was the only one whose mind was still active. She turned her eyes from the lifeless body to Margret.
"Has anybody been here?"
Margret didn't answer. 
"Is anyone else at home? Your mum? Baby Stanl--" Her eyes opened widely at the realization of Baby Stanley's wail upstairs. "Oh my God, Baby Stanley!"
June and Joana's minds came rushing back but were too slow to react as Grace ran up the stairs as fast as she could, locating the room through his high pitched cry which got louder as she got closer to the room. She swung the unlocked door wide open then rushed in to pick the baby up. 
She placed her hands on his head feeling his temperature. Her heart sunk at the burning sensation she felt. 
The poor boy could have been crying all morning, she thought.
She started rocking and patting Stanley to calm him down as she made her way back to her friends. 
Margret still remained the way Grace had left her. Numb.
"I killed him." She said speaking for the first time. 
"What no! Something must be wrong somewhere." Joana said reaching for her friend but was brushed off immediately.
"No. I killed him the exact way I said I would." Margret said withdrawing her shaking fingers from Joana's. "I'm a Murderer."
Joana became more confused.
"How you said you would?" She asked in bewilderment. "What exactly is going on here?"
June froze at the thought of her sister finding out about the game but was saved by an unexpected turn of event. 
"That's not what you should be worried about now. You can ask questions later." Veronica said. 
The girls were both surprised and alarmed at her presence. 
"How are you here?" Grace asked. 
"I overheard you guys at the game and sensed something was up. So I followed you guys here... Plus you left the door open." She said with a disappointed expression on her face. She shut the door and turned back to everyone. 
"So, am guessing that's Sylvester huh?"
Grace felt angry at once. 
"You are enjoying this, aren't you?" She said, trying her best not to startle Stanley who was getting calmed. 
"And what makes you think you are a part of this all of a sudden."
"Because I'm your only option in making sure your dear friend Margret doesn't spend the rest of her young life in jail."
They became confused.
Veronica sighed.
"How quick were you guys to forget my murder mystery skills? I can help you solve this."
"Help my foot!" Joana yelled. She left Margret's side to confront her. "For all we know you probably have a hand in all of this."
"So what are you trying to say, that I killed someone I never met in my life?" She said glaring at Joana. 
"Still,  my friends have been acting weird since your stupid party and now this... I'm sure It's all your fault."
Something sparked inside Veronica.
"Bitch please it was even your--" She started at first but stopped. 
She wanted to argue but knew it was of no use. There would just end up passing blames till there was enough for everyone and that would just be a waste of time. Time that they were running out off. She sighed again.
"Look we don't have enough time, you want my help or not?" 
Joana was about to return with a harsh statement but June backed her off.
"Jo, she has a point." She said placing her hands on her sister's shoulder. 
"So you trust her?" 
"No I don't, but like she said, we don't know what to do. We have been standing here for minutes without doing anything. Time is running out. Let's hear what she has to say."
Joana threw glances at Grace and Margret who showed their approval.
"Fine," Joana said. "What do we do now?"
Veronica let out a short breath and walked into the view of everyone in the living room. Her mind was off like a flash. 
"We have to get rid of his body, and the knife too... Made it look like he skipped town."
She walked up to Margret. 
"Do you know where your mum keeps her expensive jewelry, or where she stashes her money in the house?"
Margret didn't answer. 
"Margret!" Veronica said shaking her. "You have to pull yourself together if you want to make this work."
Margret nodded and Veronica beamed a smile back at her. 
"So do you know where she keeps thos things?"
"Yeah, in a box under her bed."
"Good, go get them. And get out of those bloody clothes too... Now."
Margret felt like herself again. She nodded and wenr up the stairs.
Veronica turned to the rest.
"Okay, now we have to clean the entire room, leave no trace of blood or anything." As she was talking her eyes caught the body in the floor again. "We have to wrap him up in the rug. Come on." She said then walked over to the body. 
The rest were shocked to see how she took charge of the whole situation. They watched in awe as she bent down ready for action. 
Veronica raised her head. 
"Guys, come on!"
With that June and Joana joined her folding up Sylvester's body in the rug while Grace, with the baby in her hand watched and commended their efforts as they struggled each time they turned the rug over. 
They stood uprightly immediately after, their panting audible through out the room. 
"Okay," Veronica said catching her breath. "We still have to leave this place spotlessly clean... And feed the baby too."
"I'll handle that." Margret said taking Stanley off Grace's hands. "Thank you." She said to Grace who smiled in return. 
She had changed from her pyjamas into a Jean skirt and a checkered shirt which she left open, showing her black tank top. She handed a nylon containing the previous attire over to Veronica. 
"I'm guessing this needs to go too."
"Yes." Veronica answered, tossing the bag to the corner where the body has been rolled too. "We can't get him out of here without raising any suspicions, we need a ride."
"But none of us have a car." June said, stating the obvious. 
"My Uncle Kim does." Veronica replied "And I can go home, get the car and other things we need to get rid of Sylvester and be back while you guys clean this place up. Grace, you are with me."
"Why her?" Joana asked in skepticism.
"You want me and you alone in a car right now?" 
Joana rolled her eyes.
"Veronica is right, it's best I go with her." Grace said. 
"Alright then, we will back as soon as we can. Good luck." Veronica finally said then left the house with Grace. 
Outside the door, as they walked to the main road, Grace had pulled her back. 
"This changes nothing, we're still angry at you."
"I know." Veronica replied, giving away no expression in her face. She turned back to the road calling on the motorcycle that rode past them. 
"Bike!"

"It's just a game, say a name and watch as your dark fantasies become reality!"

Veronica had to change to a new school in a new town because of her father's wishes, Grace wanted a memorable experience so bad that she was that she decided to befriend the loner new girl. But what do you do when the people you wanted dead started dying the exact way you imagined?

My day started like any other school had just let out and I was heading home. But along the way I got a text from my younger brother Alex telling me to hurry home. 

Hitting the gas, I make it home in record time and rush into the house worried something was wrong. Inside Alex was reading a journal. Alex was a runner for the track team so it was hard to find him not wearing running shorts and a t-shirt. He was short which was weird for a runner he was barley four and a half feet tall even though he was in the tenth grade. However, don't let his size fool you the kid can run last year he even made it to nationals in the one-hundred-meter dash.
Walking over to him I tap him on the shoulder before I ask "What are you reading?".

He must have just noticed me because he looked surprised. "You got here fast", He muttered. As he closed the book.

"You did tell me to hurry home. So, what's so important that I needed to get home so fast." I asked before I noticed on the cover of the notebook, he was reading was a purple flower a nightshade to be exact. Before our mom Tonya Harper died, she made wrote her will in a journal she wrote everything, she was leaving behind for us when she passed.

Tonya had pancreatic cancer and by the time we noticed something was wrong it was already too late. The chemo and radiation slowed down the clock and gave her about another year to live. However, the drugs and radiation soon lost their effectiveness and she passed away.

After she passed, we lost the journal and had been looking for it for the past three months without any luck and now here it was.

Alex must have noticed my expression because he said, "Yeah, it's mom's journal Evan said he found it when he was going through the storage unit."

Evan was our stepfather he married our mom about a year and a half before our mom passed away. If I'm being completely honest with you, I didn't really like the guy very much that was until Tonya was diagnosed. When our mom was diagnosed, we all expected Evan to walk out on us and he proved us wrong. After all that's what every other guy mom had dated or got married to when there was a compilation. 

While Alex and me where brothers and shared the same mom, my father had walked out on our mother before I was even born apparently, he never even wanted kids. Alex's father on the other hand died in a car crash and passed away when he was six.

Our mother closed herself off after Alex's father had passed that was until Evan came along. He was good to her and he has been taking care of us ever since Tonya had passed.

"What's in it what's it says?" I managed to ask.

"No idea it's in some kind of code and I have no idea how to crack it. Hear you look maybe you will have some luck?", He said before passing me the journal.

Taking the journal from Alex I start flipping through the pages and all I saw as a bunch of numbers and commas. Taking a closer look, I noticed that the journal was divided into sections and at the beginning of each section was the title of a book.

After a few hours of research and failed attempts we final had a break though and discovered that the journal uses a book cipher however before we can get to far on the decoding Evan walks in.
"Hey, Ash having any luck?" Evan asked me.

I let out a grin before replying, "We think that the journal is using a book cipher were testing it now? Want to help." I gesture to the chair across the table.

He looked surprised for a second before letting out a smile and taking a seat before asking, "How can I help?"

It took the whole weekend before we final decoded the whole journal.

As it turns out Tonya left behind a huge sum of money for all of us. Besides money though Alex got the cars, Evan got the house and I got a key. At first, I was angry I mean all I got was a key while everyone else got house or a car. But when I calmed down, I took a closer look at the key I notice an inscription and after searching around on the internet for an hour of I learned that the key goes to safety deposit box at one of the local banks. 

Excited I get up and tell Evan I'm heading to the bank only for him to break the bad news to me, "You know the bank is closed on Sundays, right?". Hearing those words was like hearing my soul shatter. 

The rest of the day was a blur I think that was mostly because the suspense of not knowing what was in the safety deposit box was killing me. At the moment I wanted nothing more than to rush to the bank to find out what my mom had left me. You know when you have something on your mind and you can't think of anything else well that's my situation right now.

I woke up tired the next day it was hard to get to any sleep I was tossing and turning the whole night I was too excited to sleep. Getting out of my bed I hurried to get ready for another day of school. After going through my morning routine, I left the house and was on my way to school.

Ring! Ring!

Hearing the bell ring the teacher dismissed the class. As I was making my way to my car a familiar voice called out, "Hey, Ash you ok you've been out of it all day." I was surprised looking behind me I see my one and only friend Grace Kinderman. Grace was wearing her favorite grey hoodie along a pair of sweatpants and white RWBY t-shirt. She had her raven black hair pulled into a ponytail. She was waving in my direction probably trying to get my attention.

Grace had been my friend since the fourth grade when I transferred to her school. I had transferred mid semester so it was hard to make any friends. But just when I had lost all hope, I noticed during recess one day that some of the more popular girls were kicking someone one on the ground after working up my courage, I try to stop the bullies. When I got closer however, I notice that the situation was a lot worse than I had expected the popular girls had been kicking a girl with raven black hair but what worried me was that she had blood running down her forehead. Not knowing what to do I help drag her to the teacher and explain the situation and the girl was taken to the nurse's office to get looked at.

When Grace came to school the next day we started talking and before long we became fast friends so much so that it was hard to find one of us without the other around.

I never did see the girls who were bullying Grace that day again from what I head however they we all expelled for the school.

I make my way over to Grace before replying, "Yeah, I'm fine I just have some stuff on my mind."
"Are you sure you're alright?", Grace ask with a hint of concern in her voice, "You know you can tell me if something happened right."

Of course, I know she is right and to tell you the truth I needed someone to talk to. 

After explaining the situation, she offered to go with me to the bank and so after stopping by our lockers we get in my car and make out way toward the bank.

When we got to bank the first thing, I notice was how old the building looked. If you didn't see light through the window, I probably would've thought that the building was closed.

We make our way inside and walk up to the teller at the front desk. She was a blond with clothes that made her look like she was from the 80s but what stood out the most had to be her scarlet red eyes. She didn't seem to notice us until Grace rang the little bell on the counter. When she heard the bell ring the lady looked up and a introduced herself. "Hello my names Luna, how can I help you?", Hearing here voice I was dazed and it wasn't until Grace elbowed my side that I awoke from my stupor. 

After shaking my head and collect my thoughts for a moment I asked her, "Does this key work for any of the safety deposit boxes here?" 

Taking the key, she looks at it for a second before she says, "Yes it does, would you like to open the box?"

"Yes ma'am." 

Luna led us to an old vault. As we got inside, when we walked in, she made her way to the far wall and grabbed one of the safety deposit boxes before walking to the wooden table in the middle of the room and using the key unlocks the box.

I make my way over but as I'm nearing the table but paused when I hear Luna speak again, "I'll wait outside call me if you need anything."

Grace is the one who answered her this time, "We will, thank for your help."

"No problem" Luna said with a smile before walking out of the room.

As soon and Luna was out of the room Grace looks and says, "You know you your drooling."
I reflexively wipe my mouth only to discover I've been had. Grace laughs into her hand before directing her attention the box. "Are you going to open it or not."

Coming to my senses I make my way to the safety deposit box and open it looking inside I see an old book, a composite journal, and a white ring. The old book bound in purple colored leather and on the cover was a title in a language I can't make out along with a silver emblem that looks like a gate. Opening the book, I notice that the text is in the same unintelligible language that the title on the cover was in. I was about to grab the journal when I heard Grace call out. "Hey Ash look at this"

She was holding the white ring. Coming over she hands over the ring to me and I take a look and upon taking an inspection I notice that it has the same engraving of a gate that the book cover had. 

"It's the same symbol the book has but why a gate does it have some special meaning?", Grace asks me.

"No ideas maybe the journal has some clues. Lay the ring back on the table I pick up the journal and open to the first page. On the page was a warning telling me only to read the journal when I'm alone. Thinking that the information is private I decided to wait until I got back home to go through the rest of the journal.

Looking in Grace's direction I ask, "Are you ready to leave?"

"Yeah, let's get out of here." 

Making our way to my car after saying goodbye to Luna we made our way back to the school so Grace would have her car tomorrow.

When we got to school it was just starting to get dark. I pulled up near Grace's car and she gets out but not before saying. 

"Let me know if you find out what anything about the book and ring." And with those words she was gone.

Leaving the school, I made my way home.

When I get home, I make my way to my room and after locking the door to make sure I'm won't' be disturbed I pick up the journal and start reading.

The journal told me that to read the text from the book one had to be bound to the ring and the only way to bind with the ring is by dropping a drop of blood on it. Reading what the journal said at first, I was skeptical I mean I love the supernatural, magic, and all that but come on even I know all that stuff is just fiction.

As I continue reading from the journal, I learn that the book is supposedly called a grimoire. The more I read the sketchier the information got eventually I got fed up I became I mean come on this had to be all bull shit, right? After throwing everything in one of the desk drawers I make my way over to my bed, pull out my phone, and start watching anime. 

Unfortunately, the only thing I could think about was the ring and the grimoire. After about two hours I finally broke and grabbed the ring and lay it on my desk I then prick my finger and let a drop of blood fall onto the ring. When the drop hits the ring, the ring starts to change colors from white into a dark red and as the ring is changing colors, I also start to feel like something has changed kind of like my mind is clearer. 

Surprised by this feeling I grab the grimoire from my desk and try to read the title and to my surprise I discovered that I could now read the title it's reads Grimoire of Worlds. Curious I open the book only to be blinded by a bright light and forced to shut my eyes when I opened them again, I noticed that the grimoire and the ring were gone. Just before I could start panicking however, I felt excruciating pain in my head and I passed out.

What happens when you obtain a book that grants you a system and allows you to travel through different worlds?

Growls of the undead filled the air along with the resonant sounds of Lightning constantly crackling. Within the darkness of the hallway, flashed of Lightning bolts danced around and in each time it swept past an undead. Its head would explode and its body would fall to the ground.

Despite killing dozens of undead in a sngle swipe of his hand. Dan knew that with the overwhelming numbes that the enemies had. They would eventually run out of fuel and when that time came. It would be their deaths.

Opening his palm, Dan hurled a concentrated beam of Lightning which latched on the nearest undead and burnt it into cinders. After killing that undead, it transformed into a beam once again and latched on another undead. It kept on dancing and dancing amidst the battlefield. Only when it killed at least fifty undeads did it disappear from the scene.

Ashes from the burnt bodies of the undead crumbled onto the ground. But Dan wasn't satisfied, shooting another Chain Lightning. He continued his massacre. And since these figures weren't human anymore, he felt no remorse and continued his killings.

At Natalie and Grace's side, both women unleashed their killing techniques without hesitation. Their movements looked graceful and filled with incomparable flair that not only accentuated their beauty but also maximized efficiency.

Wherever their arms passed, heads would roll and bodies would crumble, each of their attacks never held back and contained lethality that could send shiver down the spines of anyone.

"Damn there's no end to this horde of monsters! We have to find a way to escape their encirclement or else we'll die of exhaustion!" Grace shouted out as she stabbed an undead with her dagger. Pulling her weapon out, pieces of flesh and sticky pus from the undead's body splashed on her robes, almost making her vomit.

"Yeah, goddamned it... Stay back, you bastards!" Natalie twisted her body in mid-air and kicked an approaching undead. The undead staggered backward and those behind him were also forced back from the momentum of Natalie's kick, giving her momentary respite as she replied.

"Yeah, that will definitely happen unless we find a way to escape from this place...." All three of them were located at the second highest floor of the entire school building. Though jumping was possible, the same would still happen for there were at least several thousands of undeads littered at the school yard, surrounding the entire school building.

At the opposite direction of the two stood Dan whose complexion filled with beaded sweats that slowly dripped down his chin. Sweeping his gaze at the commotion before him. Dan realized that their life and death depended on whether they could escape and recover the Spiritual Energy that they lost. 

Turning to his left, a window that revealed the murky and somber atmoshere of the outside world could be seen. Shooting at the window, the ear-splitting sound of glass shattering rang out as Dan hurriedly commanded at the two behind him.

"Grace, Natalie! The two of you, come over here... Let's escape through that window!" He beckoned for them and they turned towards his direction without hesitation. Both wanted to get out of this place more than anything. With a speed faster than normal, they arrived at his side and Dan lightly smiled.

"We won't be going down, we'll be going towards the roof, once your standing on the window, jump to the skies and propel yourself to the rooftop once in the air, got it?" 

Grace and Natalie furiously nodded their heads like chicken pecking rice. They wanted nothing but to escape this place as fast as they could to the extent that they would do anything no matter how dangerous it was for that slim chance of escaping.

Leaping at the window, Dan bent his knees and propelled himself upward. Lightning crackled and exploded beneath his feet as his body horizontally flew towards the rooftop just three meters above their initial position. 

Seeing their husband's success. Natalie and Grace felt somewhat relieved and stared at each other for a moment before nodding. Natalie went outside the window and Grace kept the approaching undead at bay with her Lightning.

Bending her knees, Natalie calmed her nervousness and leaped vertically. Following Dan's example, Lightning surged under her feet and pushed her horizontally towards the rooftop where she rolled and anxiously awaited Grace's arrival.

A flash of Lightning followed by the sound of muffled thunder energized her complexion as she saw Grace's figure soaring through the skies towards her location. Embracing her tight, Natalie worriedly glanced at Grace's body as the latter shyly said.

"Sis Natalie, you don't have to do these kind of things... You know that we're in a virtual world, right? Injuries here won't actually mean that we're also injured in reality..."

Grace turned to look at Dan in embarrassment and the latter merely turned his gaze away. His cheeks somewhat reddened for a certain idea popped out of his mind when he saw them locked in an embrace. Taking a deep breath, he calmed himself down and called for a discussion.

"Now that we're at the rooftop, we're probably somewhat safe from everything that's going on underneath. However, to get out of this place. We have to find a way to kill those undead bastards without wasting too much Spiritual Energy..."

Dan lightly smiled as he said, his eyes darted around Natalie and Grace who stared at him in confusion. Before Natalie could say anything. Grace opened her mouth and spoke.

"Why are you saying that we shouldn't waste too much Spiritual Energy? Wouldn't killing those bastards mean the end of the Array and that we could finally escape?" 

Dan shook his head towards her inquiry. Crossing his arms together. His expression turned solemn and serious. Staring at his two wives, he took a deep breath and explained.

"Everything's not so simple... Natalie, Grace... If the Array could really perfectly potray the dream world within my heart, then that undead army shouldn't be the end of everything... If I am right, there's still the final boss that we need to defeat..."

At the end of his sentence, a bitter and apologetic smile lifted on his lips before sighing as Natalie and Grace stared at him in shock. Just how crazy of a world he has in his heart? And why would he dream of such a presposterous world that contains all sorts of dangers and mysterious things?

Of course, they didn't voice out their concerns. Instead, they kept it to themselves before asking. 

"In that case, just when and how can we defeat that so-called final boss that you're saying? Is there some kind of a special requirement necessary for it to appear?" Grace asked with knitted eyebrows and Dan clapped his hands together and replied with a smile of admiration on his face.

"That's right, that's indeed the case, Grace... There's a special requirement that needs to be met before that final boss of this world appears..." Taking a deep breath, he continued, "No matter where and when, I'm really amazed of your observational skills. To think that you would draw such a conclusion just from observing the world around you..."

Grace felt her cheeks burn hot from Dan's intense and incessant praising of her observational skills. Natalie who stood at the side puffed her cheeks and glared at Dan's direction. Of course, the latter picked her signal up and he approached both of his wives and patted their heads.

Without saying anything, both understood what Dan wanted to say and his feelings so they felt gratified and appreciated in their hearts. Sweetly smiling, the two stared at Dan and the latter retracted his hand before saying.

"I have surefire way that could let us kill each and everyone of those bastards underneath us without wasting too much Spiritual Energy..." Dan told them with a smile lingering on his face.

The two women's curiosity peaked and they practically looked like two little puppies eager for some treats from their master. Towards their expressions, Dan couldn't help but chuckle as he continued his explanation.

"I have some explosives with me that we could use to detonate some spots within the school building so that it'll collapse and crush those bastards underneath." 

Dan's use of a new term confused the two women who asked.

"Explosives? Something that will explode like those green balls that you always throw at the enemy?"

Dan nodded his head in confirmation and the two women also nodded their heads in understanding. Reaching a tacit agreement, all three of them prepared for the commencement of the plan.

"Just how reliable is your plan, dear? Are you really sure that we won't be caught off guard and injured by the flying debris from the demolition?" Natalie asked with concern visible on her face and Dan shook his head.

"Natalie, you do remember that we're all cultivators here, right? We could just activate our Spiritual Energy and cover our bodies with it so that we won't get injured. Unfortunately, we can't break the void here or else we could escape from the rooftop and not have to use this dangerous plan..."

Grace nodded her head at Dan's explanation and Natalie conceded. Holding dozens of Grenades on their hands, all three of them burst forth from the rooftop and ran towards the location that Dan indicated earlier at his explanation. 

Planting several Grenades on a foundation pillar and columns. All three of them worked together and tried their best avoiding the slow undeads without using little to no Spiritual Energy. In the end, they regrouped at the rooftop without sustaining any injuries. Apart from exhaustion that they suffered from running to and fro, all three safely returned.

"Excellent work, before we start destroying everything. Let's change clothes first, these robes are starting to get really stinky..." Dan applauded and praised the two women and proposed. His words made them smile for they felt the same way. 

Women were creatures that liked beauty and cleanliness, so wearing such sticky and stinky robes felt like a punishment for the two. Taking off their robes, they didn't bother to hide from Dan's side as they slowly undressed everything including their underwear. 

Dan merely smiled at their actions and never said anything. Of course, to protect his wives valuable bodies from the eyes of outsiders, he propped a Sound and Light Isolating Formation around the two as insurance before taking off his clothes and displaying his naked body to the outside world while smiling.

"If there are any lechers there then you bastards will make do on watching my buttocks..." He smirked and dressed himself up. HIs act of changing his clothes didn't even take a minute but his wives took at least several minutes before they emerged from the formation.

"Could the two of you at least dress up faster? We're not in a particular occasion so there's no reason to dress so flashilly, you could've make do with a simple tunic..." Dan berated and Natalie glared at his direction.

"You obviously don't understand anything about women's fashion, my dear... Without sufficient knowledge, one should just shut up and stop complaining..." 

Dan who didn't expect Natalie's fierce retaliation almost choked in his own saliva while Grace reeled at his misfortune for forgetting Natalie's bottom line. You could take away anything that you want from Natalie with the exception of her daughter and her valuable clothes. Taking them away meant courting death.

Shrugging, Dan could care less and closed his eyes. Floating up in the air, his Divine Sense covered the entire school building and he marked the planted Grenades before simultaneously detonating them all with a thought.

BOOM!

A sound akin to muffled thunder reverberated out, every pillar and column that supported the school building promptly collapsed. Burying several thousands of undeads beneath as the smell of iron and rotten corpses filled the air and formed into a toxic cloud.

In a world fraught with innumerable dangers where living day by day is a struggle, a young man from the modern age transmigrated into such a world, accompanied by a peculiar system made for assassination.

jackson  >> ( pushes her phone away ) dont panic her she's on a vacation .if we tell her then she might burst into hella tears and gets tensed ....just wait till she comes back

jennie returns home from the vacation and we explained the situation to her then she started crying 😭😭

I was born into a world where everyone is different to me, everyone else my age already have a shadow, yet I don't have one. I'm always left out in school just because of that, I also get bullied a lot of the time mainly because I don't have a shadow. I've always had a fascination with the history of our universe, especially Earth's history, I would love to see one of those things them humans call a "Stream Train", I mean, we have trains, but their loads different to Stream Trains! I would also love to see: some of the first cores, first proper telepines, the mobile pines humans used back in their years of the 2000's. Hmm I'm starting to think that them things I would love to see, their names have been a bit distorted over time, I mean "Mobile Pines"? It doesn't make sense right? And neither does "Stream Trains" and "Telepines" and "cores" make much sense either.


"hnnng" I yawn while sitting up in my bed. I suddenly think about the weird dream I just had about Stream Trains and Telepines and Mobile Pines and cores. "NAO!!? HUNNY!!? ARE YOU AWAKE!!?" I hear my older step brother - Erin - call me from downstairs. My dad died when I was very little, so my mum remarried, apparently her new husband had divorced his previous wife because she cheated, so I had an older step brother, sadly our parents died in an accident when I was six and Erin was twelve, Erin's mum didn't want to take care of us, but luckily Erin was nearly old enough by law to take care of me, so he was allowed to raise me. "DON'T CALL ME THAT!!!" I yell back annoyed, "YOUR LIKE A DAUGHTER TO ME THOUGH!!!" he shouts back "I'M YOUR YOUNGER STEP SISTER, NOT YOUR DAUGHTER!!! AND ANYWAY, I'M TOO OLD TO BE YOUR DAUGHTER!!!" I shout back smugly, knowing that I win the argument.


(later on after breakfast) 

"I'm off to school" I say, opening the front door. "nu-uh, not till you give me a kiss on the cheek" Erin says shutting the door before I can get out of the house. "no" I say opening the door and leaving the house.

I walk down the road towards school, when I see Luke, my BFF. I rush towards him and call out his name "Luke!". I finally reach him, out of breath. "Oh, hey Nao" Luke says happily "guess what!? I actually got a boyfriend!". "Yay!" I say happy for my friend. And yes, Luke is gay, but I honestly don't care! "LUKE!! NAO!!" Grace shouts running towards us. Grace is a wild and crazy girl from Flaon, hence her foreign accent, she moved here to Torian just before high school started. "Luke got a boyfriend!" I say embarrassing Luke. "Oooooh! Good for you! Oh yeah! I asked my crush out and he said 'nO eFfInG wAy' and I'm so upset!" Grace says depressed.

After a short while of super fast walking to school, we arrive, and go in. 

You know, I hate high school. It's stupid that we're only here for three years before we're legally old enough to make decisions and move out of our parents house, usually when people leave high school, they're about 12, 13, maybe 14? I'm in second year currently, and I hate it. I get bullied, but luckily Luke is popular because he's like the only gay person in our school. And Grace is also popular because she's like the only Flaonce person in our school, and since she's from Ciato, which is known as the city of love, makes people like her even more and she also knows a few different languages. And Florence, another friend of ours, is also extremely popular, he's popular because he's like the only guy in our school who got his gender changed, so Florence has a girl body but is actually biologically a boy, Florence is also really smart, he also watches animes like the rest of us in our friend group. I'm glad because my extremely popular friends always help me when people are bullying me.


(time skip to break time)

Yay! It's break time, now I can hang out with Luke, Grace and Florence. Florence is an awesome guy, who despite getting bullied in primary school, is super popular now. I walk to our usual meet up spot. Its crowded here, something must be going on, a fight perhaps? I push through the crowd, curious, what I see slightly shocks me. Luke and his boyfriend - Kim - are making out! Actually they're more like snogging! I notice people are shocked but support it. I suddenly remember about that Luke Fan Club, it's a club that's filled with Luke's fans, and by fans, I mean admirers that love Luke's gayness. Kim Vana is Rin Vana's identical twin brother, Rin and Kim are really close, since Rin is the older twin, he's the heir to the famous world wide multi-millon, no more like trillion Vana company. Both Rin and Kim are cute, or rather 'hot' according to the Vana Fan Club - it's basically similar to the Luke Fan Club, but it's members are CoMpLeTeLy ObSesSeD with Rin and Kim. Honestly I prefer Rin but eh.


(time skip to lunch)

"Ugh, maths is so boring!" Luke complains, obviously thinking about earlier, seeing as he is slightly blushing. Me, Grace and Florence are kinda annoyed at Luke, cause he was drawing a lot of attention to himself earlier by snogging his boyfriend in a not so discreet place. We all go into the lunch hall and then into the line. I notice Kim is discreetly looking at Luke, while Rin is trying to get him to eat cause he's barely touched his food. Rin is so cute! The line goes down quite quickly. I decide to order mini pizza and mash potato with a bottle of water as a drink. We all sit down together at a table and enjoy our lunch. I zone out thinking about how cute Rin is. "... is soooooo cute when he blushes" I hear Luke say after I stop zoning out. 


(time skip to after school) 

I'm happily walking home. I suddenly notice out of the corner of my eye, in a side alley I see a guy demanding something while holding an unhappy looking lady against the alley wall and holding a knife at her throat. I decide to help the lady being threatened. "umm, sir? What's going on here?" I ask the potentially dangerous guy with a knife. He was startled, then he explained "umm, well, uh, ehehe, now I know this looks bad but, uh, this bitch owes me loads of money and still hasn't paid me back!". "oh okay" I say, hoping not to get killed by this guy, while continue to go home.


(time skip to dinner)

I decide to turn the TV on, when it turns on, the news channel is playing, in the news there's a lady saying "BREAKING NEW!!!!!!!!!! Hello everyone, and good evening. Cece is dead. Not so long ago, someone found a dead body in a side alley. The victim's throat was apparently slit. The victim is supposedly a brown haired lady, who, witnesses claim that earlier there was a strange man who held her against the alley wall while holding a knife at her throat. Witnesses also claim that they saw a young girl walking home after school, the young girl is roughly about second year of high school, the girl was curious about the scene, so she went up to the man, and asked a question, apparently the question flustered the man, so he was a bit awkward answering. Luckily the young girl left the side alley and continued her way home safely" I notice that Erin is also watching it while eating. During the time the lady on the TV was talking, a picture of me came up, this startled Erin and he seemed mad. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT!!!?? YOU COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!!! DANMIT NAO!" Erin yelled. "well I'm perfectly fine!" I snap at Erin annoyed. I decide I'm not hungry anymore, so I go to my room to relax. 


(time skip to later)

I hear a knock on my door. "what do you want?" I ask plainly, "can I come in?" Erin asks. "ok" I say, while texting in the group chat that Florence made. Erin then comes in and says "sorry I shouted at you earlier, I was just really annoyed, I mean, you could have gotten yourself killed!", I turn my pine off then I roll over to face him "it's okay" I say sitting up, I swing my legs around then I stand up. I go over to Erin and hug him. "can we watch The Rising Of The Shield Hero or Fairy Tail?" I say using my 'puppy' eyes, I know Erin has a very very very hard time saying no to a question when I do this. "o-okay" Erin says trying very hard to not say yes but failing fabulously at that. Erin is a great brother for taking care after our parents died even though it was also hard on him, yet I can never think up a good way to say thanks!


(time skip to 10:34pm)

I yawn obviously tired from watching anime for a few hours. "guess it's time for bed" Erin says "yeah I guess" I say getting up and going to bed. I start zoning out. I suddenly wonder something. Wait, do I have a crush on him, on Rin!? I fall asleep, thinking about whether I do or not.
