Aaron smiled when he saw the figure of Jackson Muller in front of him, he then welcomed Jackson's hand and held it tightly as he glared at Jackson who was also smiling at him. 


"It's great to see you again, sir," said Aaron pleasantly.

"I am also glad to meet you and I also want to apologize for what just happened, I purposely asked my driver to cut through your car, Mr. Aaron," replied Jackson directly without sounding guilty. 

"You can just call me Aaron, I think I don't deserve to be called that way by someone as great as you Mr. Jackson," asked Aaron quietly as he let go of his hand from the hand of the Swiss man in front of him.

"Then, call me by my name as well, without using Mr. then. I think we will be closer to each other if we call by name," said Jack with a smile.

Aaron smiled at Jack's words, after making small talk for a while they both finally got into their respective cars and left the place. Wanting to continue the conversation in a more comfortable place, Aaron was forced to cancel his plan to come to UAL. 

"Are you sure you want to speak to the Swiss man, sir?" asked Daniel slowly as he drove his car right behind Jackson's car to a designated place.

"Yes, Daniel. I'm very curious about that man, Jackson Patrick Muller is a man who doesn't get along well with people easily. That's why I didn't refuse his invitation, I want to know what Jackson Muller's purpose is actually to invite me to meet him. I'm sure he must have a specific goal other than asking me for afternoon tea," replied Aaron softly with a smile staring at the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in front of his car.

Daniel nodded his head at Aaron's words, he then returned to focus on driving his car following the speed of Jackson's car which seemed to accelerate through the busy highway that morning. 

Meanwhile, the UAL campus looked like its usual normal day. Some graphic design students were seen gathering in several places. They discussed the competition held by the Connery Corporation that asked the participants to design the new logo of a subsidiary of the Connery Corporation. Just like what had been explained by Daniel, the assistant of Aaron Sean Connery the other day. They seemed interested to participate in the competition held by the company owned by the handsome CEO, which made many female students fail to focus fully on the seminar yesterday.

Anne, who just got out of her car, looked confused when she saw that the graphic design students seemed so busy in the morning. 

"Don't be surprised Anne, that is the effect of the seminar that was given by Connery Corporation yesterday," said Linda suddenly from behind, startling Anne who was standing beside the field. 

"Linda!!! You almost give me a heart attack, can you stop shocking me like this? Good thing I don't have any history with heart disease and it was given by God. Imagine if it is a human-made, it might fall out the seconds you shock me like that," squealed Anne in a raised voice while clutching her chest that was pounding very hard after being startled by Linda. 

"Hahaha ... I'm sorry, Miss Anne, it's your fault why you have to daydream in a morning like this," said Linda trying to defend herself with a laugh.

"I'm not daydreaming, I'm just surprised to see graphic design students are so busy in the morning," said Anne quietly.

"You should have joined yesterday's seminar, Anne. So you can find out what has made the graphic design students be this busy so early," said Linda quickly as she pulled Anne's arm to walk toward the classroom. 

"What happened at the seminar?" asked Anne curiously.

Linda took a deep breath at the question from her best friend, she then told Anne what had happened yesterday on campus. During the time Linda shared the story about what happened at the campus yesterday, Anne only nodded her head many times while smiling. But then Linda got annoyed after seeing Anne just smiling without speaking. The reason was that she had shared about the very handsome CEO of the Connery Corporation with great enthusiasm, but Anne did not show any exciting expression. It was normal for Linda to get this annoyed since she was so into the handsome CEO and she expected Anne to be as excited as her.

"Are you straight? Are you even a normal regular woman, Anne? Why you seem like you are not interested in that handsome businessman?" asked Linda in a rising voice.

"Yes, I'm straight and I'm also normal, Linda. I still like men, it's just that I don't want to deal with rich men like that anymore. Trust me, what appears on the surface does not always look like what's on the inside, I've experienced it myself," said Anne, smiling meaningfully toward Linda.

"What do you mean, Anne?" Linda asked again.

Anne just smiled at her friend's question, she then accelerated her footsteps towards the classroom leaving Linda who was still curious about her previous answer. Anne ignored Linda's screams, who kept calling her name from behind.

"I don't want to have to deal with rich men like that anymore, Linda, what I want now is to be able to live my life in peace without having to get into trouble anymore. I want to enjoy life without having to feel fear and anxiety just like before," said Anne to herself while keep walking toward the classroom, Anne had decided to not get involved with any rich men for the rest of her life again after what she had experienced during the time she was still Leonardo Ganke's wife. That trauma seemed to have left a big wound inside her heart.

After bading goodbyes the two went on their separate ways.

A while later, the young woman who had ushered her in opened the door and said with a smile, "Congratulations, He Xiyan. You have scored 315 marks and 240 is the passing grade, so you've done really well and passed the first round. You could rest for 20 minutes and after, we will arrange for you and the other candidates to head to the 77th floor for a graphic design test. You will have to use a computer to amend and draw designs based on the questions posed."
He Xiyan sighed heavily. She felt that this was the toughest interview she had ever been to.
She realized that there were many people attending this interview and the interviews were mostly graduates from the top universities around the world and had many years of experience under their belt. She didn't have any competitive advantage over them.
The graphic design test was also difficult, especially the visual interface design questions. She had a few years of experience but she was still unable to do a good job. She didn't even think she would score 60 marks for this question.
After the graphic design test was over, she was informed that she could leave and that they would be in contact to let her know the outcome.
He Xiyan heaved a sigh of relief after the interview rounds were over. She saw earlier that the starting salary for this role was 18,000 USD a month. This was the highest salary that any company was offering for this particular role.
The salary didn't really bother her since all she wanted was a job that would allow her to do the things she enjoyed and also meet several new colleagues along the way.
After she left the building, she didn't return to the castle immediately. Instead, she went to a large shopping mall and bought several outfits. She bought two professional outfits for herself, then went to the men's section and selected several woolen shirts and two neckties for Ye Hao.
It was 9 PM by the time she returned to the castle with her shopping bags.
"Ma'am, sir said that he would be working overtime today and would be home late. He told you to rest first," Housekeeper Lu immediately passed along Ye Hao's message when she returned. He Xiyan looked at her phone and saw that Ye Hao had indeed sent her a text 20 minutes ago but she hadn't seen it.
"Alright, thanks!" She said as she brought the shopping bags to the room, then went to the dining table to get something to eat.
She did not stay up that night but instead, turned in early. She was a little exhausted after doing so many things that day, so she quickly fell soundly asleep.
She didn't even stir when her husband returned home shortly after she turned in.
Ye Hao seemed a little fatigued and his eyes were bloodshot, as though he hadn't had a good rest for the past few days. He had also caught the flu and sneezed a few times.
He lightened his footsteps when he saw that his wife had fallen asleep and tried not to make any noise when he took out his nightclothes.
He soon saw the shopping bags on the sofa and noticed that these shopping bags seemed to contain new clothes.
He walked over and looked through the bags. His eyes lit up with happiness and excitement when he saw that several shirts that seemed like they were for him, and two neckties.
Thank you, Yan Yan.
His lips curved into a smile and he stared these clothes for a long while; her actions had warmed his heart.
She had been treating him coldly during this period and had probably been very disappointed in him.
Nonetheless, he still believed that she still loved and cared about him.
His eyes were calm as he approached her bed and reached out to brush her loose strands of hair away from her face.


Married rich for three years with no child born. Just when she was finally cured of infertility and ready to give him a child, he brought home his pregnant mistress in high profile. 

"Get lost if you can't get knocked up. Or do you want my son to be the last of the Mo family?" her mother-in-law viciously cursed. 

Her husband grimly shoved a divorce agreement upon her face, "I've signed. Leave when you are ready."

It was heard later that two men went physical in the city plaze of Ye City to win back the wife, with the two babies at the side fighting fiercely for their mom!

This is a story of a woman's search for a new life and bliss while abandoning her tragic past. 


On the next day, Fern and Emily go through their routine of attending different lectures in the morning and reuniting for lunch. After the girls have recovered their energy, they find a bus and go to the art gallery. 

The Tremblay Art Centre looks like a big white box on the outside, but it houses a fantastically large collection of various art pieces. The centre could easily be mistaken for a museum because of its education programs and historical exhibitions. It would take multiple 8-hour extended visits to see everything that the centre has to offer. 

Immediately upon walking into the building, Emily and Fern are dazzled by a colourful and large glass sculpture that doubles as a chandelier. Careful to avoid standing under the sculpture, just in case it falls, the two pick up an informational brochure and map from the greeter. 

Looking at the map, Fern is immediately overwhelmed by an onslaught of compelling exhibitions to look at. In contrast, Emily does not bother looking at the map and starts walking towards the first thing she sees. When Fern looks up to ask Emily about her thoughts, Emily has already infiltrated a group of artsy looking people. 

Walking up to Emily and poking her shoulder, Fern smiles awkwardly to the strangers and says hello. Turning back to Emily, Fern looks like a mom who is about to scold her kid and asks, "what?" 

Like she's known this group of people her entire life, Emily cheerfully says, "Let me introduce you! Everybody this is my best bud Fern, Fern, this is everybody. We were just talking about what we think the meaning is of this painting." Leaning into Fern and using her hand to cover her mouth, Emily jokingly says, "Poor Sally said she thinks it means that clowns aren't scary." Emily's new friends laugh like that was peak comedy while Fern lets out of a fake chuckle. 

Failing to notice Fern's awkwardness, Emily wraps her arm around Fern's shoulders and tells the group, "We're actually starting a science club that produces a newsletter. Any of ya'll interested in joining? You guys seem like you'd be good at writing and design." 

Fern's eyes widen as she is shocked by Emily's boldness. They might not even be students at Ontario University. Fern continues to be stunned as the strangers actually consider Emily's proposal. Do absurdly fearless university students with lots of free time all gather at art galleries? 

After Emily tells the group more about the club, two of the group members say they might be able to write for the newsletter. Emily trades contact information with the two group members and shows them the club's Facebook page, so they can follow it. Happy that she's recruited some more members, Emily cheers and says, "Already got 5 club members! We still need to get a graphic designer for the website, you guys know anyone?" 

In response, one of the people offers, "One of our friends does graphic design gigs on the side, but I don't know if she'd be willing to help. She came to the gallery with us-" 

The person stops talking as a young woman walks up to the group. She's at least 6 feet or 182 cm, has dark brown skin, and very short hair. Complementing her artsy model aesthetic, she's wearing unique pieces of clothing and graphic makeup that make her look like she jumped out of a fashion magazine. Looking down and making eye contact with Fern and Emily, she says to no one in particular, "Who are these two?" 

Perking up, one of the new potential writers for the club says, "Hey, Alina! We were just talking about you. These are our new friends, Emily and Fern. They're looking someone to do graphic design for their club newsletter." 

Raising her eyebrows, Alina sizes up the due before unceremoniously replying, "Well, good luck with that." 

Off-put by Alina's bluntness, but unwilling to give up, Emily wears a customer service smile and says, "Thanks. Could we convince you to be our graphic designer?" 

Watching Alina's unamused body language and responses, Fern worries that she and Emily have somehow offended her. Knowing that Emily is stubborn as heck when it comes to apologizing, there is almost no chance of Alina agreeing to help if this continues. Before Alina can respond, Fern jumps into the downward spiralling conversation. 

"It can be like a part-time job rather than a volunteering position... We won't be able to pay you from the get-go, but we can reimburse you later." Noticing that Alina looks more open and interested, Fern gains confidence and adds, "If you want." 

Crossing her arms and raising her head, Alina says, "I don't need your money." In the same breath, she says, "But I have standards and my time is valuable. I expect you'll pay me at least $15 for every hour that I'm working, not just for the art itself." 

Emily inwardly scoffs at Alina's 'I'm better than you act,' but says nothing. Pleased that she fortunately guessed why Alina was miffed, Fern smiles and says, "Great! Can I see some of your work, and I'll tell you about the club?" 

"Sure." After standing straighter and getting rosy in the cheeks, Alina says, "A higher up at the gallery is alumni, so it does exhibitions of student works. You can see some of my pieces there." 

"Wow, that's so cool!." Tugging on Emily's shoulder, Fern enthusiastically asks where the exhibition is. Emily, Fern, Alina, and the two writers split off from the rest of the group to look at Alina's art and discuss club plans. 

Eventually, Fern and Emily lost track of time while chatting and looking at intriguing art. Although Emily was averse to the idea of persuading Alina any more, Emily and Fern got verbal promises to join the club from Alina and the two writers. Verbal commitments from university students are not the most reliable, but they are better than nothing. By the time they had seen maybe 40% of everything in the building, they were exhausted, and the sun was starting to set. Not eager to be outside when it is dark out, the two decide to stop by Dr. Martin's lab and postpone shopping.

A young university student, Fern, is a mess. She has yet to find something that makes her feel passionately excited. 

When Fern receives a bad mark on a research project proposal, she is forced to seek help from a professor and discovers the magic of biology. 

As Fern pursues her fascination with the field, she and her friends will inadvertently revolutionize the world's understanding of the planet and its inhabitants.

A month into my freshman year of high, I decided that it isn't going to be exciting, and I can't tell you how happy that makes me.
This year I wanted to get over my social anxiety and make at least one friend.
I've never really had friends before, so I don't really understand them.

But from what I observe from watching those around me, friends can either make you a worse person or make you better.

Mom always says that my name would be perfect if I were to become a pop star.
The only problem with that dream is I would first have to get over not only my social anxiety but my stage anxiety.
It got so bad, where the school had to excuse me from any and all presentations in front of people.
I don't have any problems in front of teachers by themselves, only when I'm in front of people that I know hate me.
The reason I enjoy disappearing into the background is that harsh words don't reach your ears because people just regard you as air.
Those who lack attention and love seek attention, but people like me who have a loving and understand family don't go and seek it in any form.
That's why I am okay with being considered air because it means I'm not the target of the cruelness of all the rich and famous kids of West Hollywood Private High School.
Today started like every other morning, I got up and made breakfast for my siblings.
Sapphire was being her usual outgoing self, her twin Jaspar was messing around with Zircon our baby brother, baby Amber was sitting giggling watching her older siblings well playing with the back of Sapphire's hair
People ask why our mom only named us girls after gems not realizing that Jaspar and Zircon are both gemstones.
We all carry the last name Rose, not to mention our middle names somehow can all be related to a famous artist nowadays, I got Arianna, Sapphire got Taylor, Jaspar got Justin, and Zircon got John.
Mom uses these artist's names and tells people why she gave us these names, in reality, she wanted us to have a normal name if we hated our first names.
Personally, I don't mind the name Jade at all, thankfully it's not a truly common name.
Sometimes I wish I were a little bit normal, despite not wanting a normal name.
I've tried to fit in my whole life, even when I was a tot, I knew I'm never going to be like the crowd.
I will always be an outlier.
Speaking of outliers, it goes perfectly with what we're learning in math, plotting dots, graphing.
With a major partner project that we start today, and that I'm never going to get out of.
At most I'm hoping that I can get out of the partner part of the project and just complete it myself.
Though my partner would have to join another group, I'm sure it would be fine considering who sits next to me.
Luka Cheng, the Chinese-American heartthrob for every wanna be in this damn school.
His dad is a famous music producer and is THE person you want to work with.
People act like this is some amazing fact.
My thoughts have always been, ya no shit, sherlock.
We go to school with the sons and daughters of famous people, everyone here has connections.
Though I may be a nobody in this school, my mom is a kickass CEO running most of the entertainment circle in Hollywood, but I don't flaunt it.
My mother has told me if I am ever going to go anywhere in life, it has to be done by myself.
Nothing is free, everything comes with hard work.
The only problem is again... I suffer from severe anxiety.
Anyway, after breakfast, we drop baby Amber at daycare, and then my siblings and I walk to school.
They go to school on a different campus but the difference is only a few minutes walking distances.
We live in Beverly Hills, and West Hollywood private school should technically be in Beverly Hills because the school is right on the border.
It's only a mile and a half to school, and since mom insists that we stay fit and have a ten-minute mile, my siblings and I can all easily walk to school in half-an-hour.
Walking into Graphic design I take my normal seat in the back of the class and stare down at my keyboard.
The only time I ever look up in is class is when I absolutely must.
At least for Graphic Design, I have a computer to hide behind, also the computer lab is situated in rows and there are not enough people to fill up all the rows so I sit by myself in the back row.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see Luka Cheng enter Graphic Design, for some reason the hottest topic of gossip this month is the fact that he took graphic design instead of a music elective.
It's ridiculous as fourteen-year-olds that we care about things like the class schedule at least he can take a class like music.
I can only imagine the fool I would make of myself if I ever took a performing arts class.
I would trade my class schedule any day with any of Luka's fangirls, why, one might ask.
I share the exact same class schedule as him.
Going through my first day of school was hell, and it was because I was so afraid of one of those fangirls coming after me.
Luka in each one of my classes on the first day of School tried his hardest to sit next to me, and I have no idea why.
I'm glad teachers assigned seats quickly, the last thing I want to do is be stuck next to him in all of my classes.

Danielle Tanner, a writer by nature, part time coffee addict, full time day dreamer, occupation - broke college student. Who's dressed in oversized hoodies, a messy bun and fluffy socks until further notice. She loves most things about the world, especially the small things like pillow talks and shower thoughts, midnight music and late-night Starbucks runs, shooting stars, crashing waves, warm coffee and rainy days.  

But Dani isn't just that, she has a different side. Hidden by layers of makeup and tears. She's the broken girl, who wakes up twisted in a coil of blankets, crying and screaming from her nightmares. Her body is a map of scars and her face is stained with teardrops and her soul with secrets.  

She leads a life where someone is always watching, always has an ear to the door and one wrong move could land her in hot water. Truth hurts but secrets kill you, and Dani? Well, is was made from secrets, ones she could never tell of course. Ones like the maze. It scares everyone. But our Dans has a different reason to be so scared she feels sick and cries until she's practically drowning. You see the thing is Danielle Tanner fears the maze not because she could go through it because she already has been through it, just not in the way you would expect.  

And then of course I must introduce our second character, River Underwood, boy with a paintbrush fixed to his hand, a baseball flying out of the other (which makes sense since he's the captain of the baseball team), a gaggle of swooning girls (golden boy alert) and a kind heart. Slowly over time, he feels himself falling for Dani, the girl with the hidden scars, talents, secrets. Whose eyes hold so many secrets, so many broken dreams, so many stars.   

He stays awake with her every single night, wipes away her tears, holds her in his arms, he peels away the layers of secrets, breaks down the walls keeping him out. But can he show her love, or does he hurt her one last time? Can he turn her shadows into stars?

After their bath, they had to eat out since Bolin wasnt around to deliver food. 

It was during this time that Xiao Ai missed Bolin so she decided to pay him a visit. It was a sunday and Gu Bojing was free so he accompanied her. Not only because he was free but also because he didnt want her to frustrate his brother even more. 

When Xiao Ai pushed the door open, she was welcomed by a foul mood between Bolin and his secretary. 

"Morning Brother in law. Morning Miss Ou. How are you doing this morning?" 

"what happened to your voice Missus." Miss Ou asked concerned.

She received no response. 
"Brother, I brought you some fresh tulips and fruits. I hope you recover soon." 

"Why? So you can scam me even more?" 

Xiao Ai looked to her husband who was awfully quiet. Not helping matters. "Of course not. Its so you can continue being our chef?" 

Bolin tsked. He knew it. This shameless woman wouldnt change. 
"But what's with the foul mood? Miss ou is everything fine?" 
Miss Ou gave a faint smile. 

"Miss Ou if it's because you almost leaked that Brother in law is.. you know cant perform, you didnt say it so you dont have to feel guilty." 

That caught Miss Ous attention. "I...I almost said it?"

Bolin face palmed himself and looked to his brother for help but he already knew his reply. "Sister in law..I am not...I...i can perform." 

Xiao Ai moved closer which made Bolin shift further almost falling off the bed. "I understand. A lot of people deny it at first. I am a psychologist. I have seen deranged patients who keep illusions with them. Our hospital has some of the best Urologists. I can assure you..."
 
"Big sister in law. I can perform. You dont have to worry." He said this in a tone that made Xiao Ai back dow  from pestering him. 

"Okay. Okay. If you say so. I just came to check on you. I will leave now." 

Bolin smiled wearily. "That would be very much appreciated. I would love it if you can leave. As soon as possible infact. " 

Xiao Ia squeezed her face at him. "You dont have to send me away. I was going to leave anyway. Idiot. Why did I even bother to check on you? Shameless." 

"That's rich coming you big sister in law." 

Xiao Ai wanted to walk forward and teach him some manners but her husband held her back. "You are in a hospital Mrs Gu. You of all people should know the protocols."

She nodded but glared at her brother in law. Before she left, she gave Miss Ou a flyer. 

"Dont do whatever is on it " Bolin warned. "Its definitely scam." 

Miss Ou didnt respond to him but read through the flyer. "What is this first Missus?" 

Xiao Ai smiled happy that someone was interested in her flyer. "Its a little something Lifen and I are planning. The design would still be changed." 

Bolin grasped the flower from Miss Ou who had a displeased a expression. "The design is wash. Its so bad. Who made this? Brother can make better designs." 

Xiao Ai looked to her husband. Bolin continued. "He studied software engineering so graphic design is not much of a big deal." 

The man who was being discussed didnt say a word and merely cleared his throat. 
"Why then are you into business?" 

"Big sister in law.  Anyone can go into business if they have the brains but of course things like this you would not understand." 

Xiao Ai kept her anger in check and didnt reply. But she looked up at her hubby and smiled. 
It seemed she had seen someone to make graphic designs for her for free. 

On their way out, she asked him. "I didnt know you studied software engineering." 

He smiled and patted her back. "You studied psychology and you run an underworld business. It's the same." 

Xiao Ai cleared her throat. Awkward. He already knew. 
While he was driving he realized she didnt make small talks like she does. 
"You are awfully quiet. Did Bolin and his secretary disturb your mood. " 

"Not at all. I just thought of someone." 

"Someone special?" 

After getting betrayed by her own family. Zhao Ai decides there's no more reason to live. If happiness will come to them with her death, then she was fine with it. So she knowingly took the poison apple but she was reborn. 
Life has given her a second chance.
Ah. You there..the step sister I cared for but betrayed me. It's time pay to back what you owe. This missus IQ is very high.

And the fiancé I loved all my youth, you dare to cheat. I will show you all some good face slap. This psychologist will make you all a psycho. 

"Em..handsome why are we both naked in bed?" she asked tightly holding the duvet. 

The young handsome man sat upright, his well defined upper body was something she couldn't take her eyes off. Shamelessly forgetting what she was asking she started to flirt. 

"Handsome we must have met before. You look too handsome for my eyes to forget."

"You married me last night." he stated no emotion on his perfectly sculpted cold face.

"Eh..so you are saying I took advantage of you last night and married you?"

"Yes."

"And you agreed?"

"Yes"

She tilted her head to look properly at him. Her face swollen due to lack of proper sleep. She seemed to be weighing his words before concluding. 

"Hmm..that sounds shameless. But I believe you. Only I have the guts to be shamelessly shameless."

"..." 

And so Zhao Ai starts her life over again. Refusing to be betrayed again. Married to Emperor Gu, the president of Emperor group of industries. The wealthiest and most feared man in the country. 

Zhao Ai learns that her life is more than what it seems and she starts to find out things she didn't know. Perhaps this husband of hers was not a coincidence. Perhaps they had really met before.

And like that, this young shameless missus begins her journey of face slapping.

After two days of staying home and gathering information for her company, Jiang Yue finally decided to go to school. This time she wanted to recruit her friend Shen Rong as a graphics designer. 

Jiang Yue saw some of Shen Rong's sketches before and she is confident of her friend's skills. She also remembered Shen Rong from her past life. After graduating high school, Shen Rong will pursue arts and will excel in design. 

After she arrived at school, she immediately went to her classroom to see her friend. 

"Hey… Jiang Yue are you alright? I didn't see you for four days. I tried to call you, but it wouldn't go through. Did something happen?" She heard Shen Rong's voice before she entered the classroom. She looked at the delicate beauty standing next to her. 

Shen Rong might look delicate and pretty on the outside, but she is very outspoken and confident. A trait that Jiang Yue admired from her friend. 

"Oh…my phone broke. Accompany me later. I will buy a new one. I had an emergency last Monday, but it's already fixed." She assured Shen Rong. 

"Really? Are you sure?" 

"Absolutely! Also, I want to talk to you about something important. Do you want to go to the cafeteria? We can grab a bite while talking." 

Shen Rong nodded and walked alongside Jiang Yue as they talked about random things on their way to the cafeteria. The two girls bought some sweets before looking for a vacant table. Then they both choose a seat at the corner to avoid the crowd. 

"So? What do you want to talk about?" Shen Rong inquired. 

"Well, I want you to work for me. As a graphic designer." 

"Graphic Design? What do you want me to design? You know that I haven't taken any design classes before, right?" Shen Rong wanted to make sure that Jiang Yue is aware of her inexperience. Sure, she is talented when it comes to art, but she didn't take any professional classes before. 

Jiang Yue fixed her eyes at Shen Rong. She knows that Shen Rong has a good background. She also knows that the Shen Family has a very complicated household. Shen Rong is so talented at sketching so how come their family didn't let her take any art classes to enhance her skills? Nevertheless, her decision won't change. She will still ask her friend to work for her. 

"That's not a problem. I saw your sketches before, and I was quite impressed. I want you to work for me. We will immediately start my project after the National exams." She mumbled before chewing a piece of her cake elegantly. 

"What project?" 

"Oh… I haven't told you yet. I'm planning to start my own company. It's like a sister company of iComms tech, but it's totally different. I will explain the specifics after the exams." Jiang Yue answered. 

Shen Rong can't help but feel a little conflicted when she heard Jiang Yue. Jiang Yue is still seventeen, but she is already talking about starting her own company. While she is still in a limbo, floating and waiting for other people to decide for her. Isn't she a little too pitiful? But Shen Rong likes Jiang Yue and will wholeheartedly support her. 

"Okay, I'm in." She beamed at Jiang Yue. She would love to work for a smart girl like her. 

"Great! So um… this cake is not that good. Do you know a place that sells great cakes and confectioners?" Jiang Yue suddenly asked her. Even though she just met Jiang Yue, Shen Rong already noticed that this girl loves her sweets. 

"I don't know, I'm not really a fan of sweet things. I like spicy and bitter food." She answered as she started to gobble her own cake. 

"Hey! You don't eat a cake like that! You can't just devour it." Jiang Yue blurted while looking at her. 

"So how am I supposed to eat a cake?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Shen Rong finds Jiang Yue funny and entertaining. She is also very smart and knowledgeable about different stuff. She always manages to talk about things that piqued her interest. 

However, eating sweets is not one of her interest. She is not a big fan of cakes and candies. How would she know how to 'properly' eat a cake? Sweets are still food so she should just treat it like every other food, right? Put it inside her mouth, chew then swallow. Right? 

"Well, you have to take a look at it first. A cake is a piece of art. It's like a painting. You have to savor it using your eyes. Imagine how it tastes like. Then once you take a bite you have to evaluate it. Examine its texture and taste. Let it melt into your mouth. If the cake is mediocre then don't finish it. If it tastes spectacular, then enjoy it. The finish it mindfully." Jiang Yue said as her eyes sparkle. 

Shen Rong was rendered speechless. Seriously. Who eats a cake like that? Did this Jiang Yue come from a different planet? She was about to tease her friend when another voice interrupted her. 

"I didn't know you are so knowledgeable at stuff like that Miss Jiang." Both girls turn their head to look at the person speaking. 

Jiang Yue furrowed her brows when she saw it was Yu Chen.

If she could use any three words to describe herself, Jiang Yue would say that she is rich, beautiful, and extremely smart. Unfortunately, she took these for granted in her past life, causing her downfall.

She did not answer him, instead, she turned around so she could face him.

Their gazes met.

"Then if you were given a chance to reincarnate, would you find me again and make me yours?" She asked.

"Of course." He answered, as he tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. "I would find you and wait for you Mrs. Fu. Even if it would have taken million years and million lifetimes."

Fu Jin's answer instantly made Jiang Yue smile. However, this time, a mysterious light flashed in her eyes.

Maybe, Fu Jin's words were true.

Maybe, he also reincarnated just like her.

And maybe... just maybe, their souls were already connected, long before they reincarnated.
