"Aurora Grindlewald," Dumbledore shouted calmly observing Aurora closely, Some of the 4th year Gryffindors began to cheer and clap whereas the other houses just stare at them in disbelief. Many of them were wondering how did she cross the age line placed by Dumbledore himself, The Professors were also shocked due to the same reason. After the initial shock worry surfaced on most of their faces as the tasks were quite dangerous. As for Blair, He just stood there calmly observing Aurora, trying to figure out whether she put her name in the goblet of fire or not. There was also a hint of worry in his eyes. Even though the tasks were not that deadly, They could still seriously wound a 4th-year student. 
As for his daughter, she was looking a little shocked because of her selection. She had never in her wildest dream thought that she would get selected.
"Miss Grindlewald can you please come this way." Dumbledore again said.
Aurora who was in shock slowly got up from his seat and headed towards Dumbledore. Happiness radiating from her face. She glanced at her father just to see him looking at her with his calm grey eyes. Guilt flashed through her eyes for a brief moment before happiness returned, but it didn't go unnoticed by Blair. She went to Dumbledore taking the slip before going to the waiting room.
"Now that all of the champions have been selected le....." The headmaster stopped in midsentence as The blue flames of the goblet again turned red.
'What is it now?'
Blair cursed in mind as he saw the slip caught by the headmaster. The Old man's eyes widen a bit before returning back to normal.
"Harry Potter"
Whispers began to spread throughout the great hall. It was not because a 4th-year student got selected in the tournament but because Hogwarts now had 2 Champions which would give it more chances of winning and it really was a serious matter.
Blair glanced at Gryffindor table just to see a wide-eyed Harry looking at Dumbledore in disbelief. It was as if his name coming from the fire was the last thing he expected.
"Harry Potter, please come here if you please." Dumbledore again called out his name in a serious voice. The messy-haired boy stood up from his table and walked towards the headmaster, everyone's eyes following his every step, He blankly took the slip from the headmaster before going to the waiting room. Blair followed right behind him.
The waiting room was quite heated. As soon as Blair entered the room, He saw his silvery haired daughter standing face to face with the French Veela, and by the looks of it, she was about to hex her.  
"Who are you calling little kids huh, I can kick your arse anytime with the spells my father had taught me this summer," Aurora shouted furiously, coming closer to the Veela. Their faces only inches away from each other.
'Why does she sound exactly like that Malfoy brat.'
"Such foul language." The Veela also rebuked furiously.
"Haaaa... you are complaining about my language, wait until I hex...." She stopped in midsentence as she saw his father. 
"Miss Grindlewald, Mister Potter please accompany me for a second," Blair said calmly as he went to the corner of the room with the two Hogwarts champions following him. "Now mind telling me if you are the one who put your name in the Goblet of fire."
"Yes"
"No"
"Sigh...Aurora first.....How did you put your name in the goblet, did an upperclassman helped you? or did you ordered Lucas to do it,." Blair asked, looking calmly at Aurora who was looking a little hesitant.
"A...classmate of mine helped me," Aurora said in a small voice.
"let me guess miss Granger."
"How did yo...ah No it's my other friend."
"you really are a bad lair.....Now tell me where did she get the information to bypass the age line."
"from the books.." She said in smaller voice, Blair spotted a hint of panic in her eyes.
"where did you get the books"
"....."
"Aurora...where did you get the books? " 
"Well, I may have ordered Lucas to get books from your personal library. I took only 3 books, that's all, Hermonie successfully performed the spell in one go, but Strangely enough, the spells only worked on me, It didn't work on Ron or Melania."
'The spell didn't work on any one of them, It was probably due to her older soul.'
Blair went silent as he continued to look at her. Even though he looked calm from the outside, He was troubled from the inside because The brat in front of him did something extremely idiotic and he knew that he should be angry at her, But strangely enough, he couldn't bring himself to be angry at her. Hell, he wasn't even angry that she sneakily took the books from his personal which contained extremely dark spell and ritual books.
'Sirius is right, I am really hopeless sigh.....'
He then turned towards Harry.
"What about you....did you put your name in the goblet of fire..." He asked the messy-haired boy
"No Uncle Blair, I don't even want to be in this Tournament ." 
"Did you ask anyone to do it for you...."
"No...."
He then again turned towards Aurora.
"Did you put his name?"
"No," 
"Did anyone of your friends did it?"
"No" 
"Sigh...I don't know what to do with you....you are the one who put the name in the fire so even though the tasks are quite hard for a 4th-year student I am not going to help you with anything. Also next time please ask for permission before taking someone else things..." 
Aurora's face brightened, Her smile returning.
"You are my father, So what yours is mine and what mine is yours." She said cheerfully.
"Sigh....This brat,"
Just then Dumbledore and the other headmasters enter the room followed by teachers came.
"Madame Maxime," The Veela said, " Are these two kids competing in the tournament."
"Hey who are you calling a k...." Aurora stopped as she saw her father gesturing her to stop with his hand.
"I also want answers, Dumbledore," Karkaroff said with a steely smile, "How is it fair that Hogwarts has two champions now."
"Yes, it is unjust." This time it was Madame Maxime.
"I was under the impression that your age line will keep younger students away from the goblet of fire, Dumbledore." There was still a steely smile plastered on Karkaroff's face." If I had known that the goblet of fire would choose younger constants as well I would have brought more students with me."
Dumbledore kept his mouth shut blankly looking at the floor as if thinking about something. After a few more seconds he looked towards the two 4th year students and asked calmly.
"Did you two put your name in the goblet of fire?"
"I have already asked them about it, Miss Grindlewald had put her name in the Goblet of fire as for Mister Potter, well he denying on putting his name in the goblet of fire," Blair answered.
"Of course he is lying." The gaintness said.
"Why don't we choose one more champion for each of our school to make the competition fairer," Karkaroff said.
"It is not possible, the Fire in the goblet of fire is gone. It will not lit up until the next tournament is started." Dumbledore said calmly.
"Then we will not be competing in this tournament."
"Empty threats Karkaroff." Moody said in a harsh voice," we both know that your champion has already been bounded with a magical contract as soon as he put his name in the goblet of fire."
"All the more reason for me to complain to the Ministry of Magic about this." Karkaroff's smile widened.
"Look who is going to the Ministry. Didn't go to them, when you bastards and your former snake faced master were torturing innocent people and children a decade ag..." 
"Alastor," Dumbledore said warningly, the inter room went into a brief silence before Blair said.
"I don't doubt it that Aurora put her name in the goblet of fire. But in Harry's case, One will need an extremely strong Confundous charm to make the goblet forget that only 3 schools were competing and putting his name in name of 4th school which will guarantee Harry's selection. This was no work of a normal school student. This is too advance even for a N.E.W.T student. I still can't find any reason, why would anyone put Harry's name in the goblet, going such lengths and risks." 
"Maybe someone wanted Potter dead," Alastor said.
"It is possible," Blair replied.
"You know quite a bit about this." Karkaroff's smile widened as he looked towards Blair as if trying to imply that Blair was the one who put the name of Harry Potter.
Blair was now pissed and was about to threaten him, but Alastor beat him to it.
"Of Course he knows. He has been fighting dark wizards like you his entire life. By now he has a fair share of ideas what you bastards th..."
"Alastor!" This time Dumbledore's voice was a little loud, Shocking everyone as the headmaster would rarely raise his voice. After a brief silence. "As Mister Potter has already been chosen and is bonded with a magical contract, He will have to compete in the tournament. We have no other choice but to let him and Aurora compete in the tournament."
"But Dumbledore...." 
"My dear Madame Maxime if you have an alternative solution, I would be delighted to hear it."
The headmistress and everyone else went silent.
"Now how about we discuss rules with the champions."
Blair left the room entering the empty Great hall, All the students have already left. He sighed as he sat on his chair on the teachers' table, Thinking about what to do now. Even though he can't tell them about the tasks, He can't just sit there and do nothing. 
'This brat really makes me worry quite a bit. There is nothing similar between her and Olivia. She would never have done something so idiotic like this, Guess it all depends on the upbringing of a child hah.'
He took out two stones from his right pocket that he would always keep with him for emergencies and wandlessly transfigured them into a Muggle pen and paper before writing something on it.
"Lucas." He called out.
"Master?" The house-elf appeared in front of him.
"Can you please bring these 2 books for me from my library." He handed the paper to Lucas Who disapparated as soon he got the slip.
The house-elf didn't make him wait for long. He returned with 2 thin books in his hand.
"Master" Lucas handed him the books. The titles of the books were 'Barely legal spells' and 'Heavy spells'. These were 2 of the books that he personally wrote, compelling spells he knew with their category. There were spells in these books that could deal serious damage to the victim. His signature and killer spells were in his other books on which he had personally placed an enchantment. To take out those books, one would need his blood.
"You may go." The elf disapparated. He started waiting for the meeting to end. In the meanwhile, he quickly read through the topics of the books to ensure that there were no dangerous spells that may harm the caster.
He heard the door open. all the headmasters, Professors, and Barty Crouch Sr exited the room followed by the Champions.
"Aurora and Harry please stay behind." He said The other looked at him for a moment before exiting the Great hall.
"Try to master as many spells as you can from these books," He handed them the books before looking at Aurora." I am not going to help you brats with anything related to the tournament so don't expect anything else from me....You can come to me if you need help with anything related to dueling, That's all" with that he turned around and headed towards the exit, "Oh right, You have already entered the tournament so no point in crying. Now just don't embarrass me by performing poorly in the tournament, give it your best shot."

Harry was laying in his bedroom in 4 private drives with dursleys and thinking about all the happening in his life .

He was soon going to start his 4th year at Hogwarts he was thinking about Lord voldemort the man supposed to be his parents murderer .But strangely he feel a affection towards him he saw him 3 times but every time he didn't saw hate in the dark lord's eye .

Each time he want to tell something but the conversation always ended up even he didn't found much help from the dairy of Tom marvolo Riddle aka voldemort .
Yes he didn't destroy the dairy he didn't know he feel like securing it and give dumbeldor a fake diary but he don't have any amount of guilt for doing that .

He feel thirsty when he saw his jug was empty so he went downstairs to the kitchen to have some water when he hear some arguing voice from his uncle and aunty's room .
He went near the room silently and start to hear what is going on but then he froze in his place hearing the talk going on inside .

The conversation goes on like this 

petunia : Vernon i can't tolerate that freak anymore I am afraid he will separate our dudders from us .

Vernon - I can understand your fellings honey but we can't throw him like that we are paid to keep that freak with us .

Petunia - I hate that he is not even Lilly's son and here we have to pretend to be his relatives god knows from where James stole that freak .

Harry run to his room crying he slump down to his bed he learn the biggest truth of his life his existence was all lie he was not a Potter .

James Potter his so called father stole him and who the hell paying the dursleys for acting to be his relatives .

He then determine to find his real identity and that will happen in Gringgotts bank through a blood taste .

He then pack all his things then shrink them and Hedwig's cage and place them in his pocket and went from their .

He thought to went to Sirius as he is his god father but then don't want Sirius to get caught so he decided to spent the night some how then next day he will go to Diagon ally .

He was seating on a park when he saw a flying car and he know who exactly they are the car parked and their come his best friend Ron weasely and his twin brother Fred and George . Ron immediately hug harry who reciprocate it with equal favour .

Harry then hug Fred and George one by one .

Fred - Well Little brother we thought to rescue you and take you with us but instead we get surprise that you already escape from them .
(Ron notice Harry's face was like he was crying and it was very pale ) 
Ron -  What happen harry did they abuse you more tell me I will hex them even if i have to break the rule .
Harry brust out crying Ron and the twins hug him tightly .
Harry - Guys can you take me some where please I want to have some peace before tell you anything ??

They take him to the Burrow the weasely family home .
Harry was changed into some comfortable clothes and was seating on the couch of the house where Ron and hermione who was staying with the family was holding Harry from 2 sides giving him some strength to speak .

Hermione - harry please tell us what happened we are with you .
Harry - What i will tell you that i was not the person who every one thought i am my whole existence was a lie .
Ron - what are you saying mate .
Harry - I am saying the truth Ron i am not a Potter I am not bloody Harry Potter , James Potter my so called father stole me from my real parents .
And the worse someone paying the dursleys to be my Guardian .

every one look stunned at him then molly went to him and hug him tightly .

Molly - Don't worry harry we will find out everything tomorrow we will go to Gringgotts and will conduct your blood taste Ron take him and make him sleep .

Ron and hermione take harry to Ron's room to make him sleep even the twins went from their . 
only Aurther and molly were left in the living room  molly look Aurther worriedly .

Molly - Aurther our doubts are getting clear now Merlin if what harry was saying is correct then you know what that means .

Aurther - I know molly if our doubts comes to be true then it's time to leave the order and to choose the right side .

Harry was sleeping in the bed and was thinking that tomorrow everything will be changed .

Going to rewrite it with the same plot as harry dark lord's son but with a different concept .

I was now floating in the void just humming a few songs well I was a normal person lived in an orphanage until I got a job and went to live off my own.I was just returning from home after getting some groceries which was a very bad idea since I was hit by a bus which then led to me being here.
I muttered, "Am I going to be in here for the rest of my life."I was suddenly sucked into a vortex and landed in a white room. I quickly looked around to see an Old man which can either be GOD or I am dreaming.
GOD smiled "You are not dreaming child and yes I am GOD."I was stunned and asked, "Please tell me it is one of those reincarnation things."God grinned "Yes Kid you got it right."
I asked curiously "So does this work do I get to choose the world I reincarnate into or is it completely random."GOD nodded and said, "Yes kid the world is completely random and you get 4 wishes."
I sighed "Let's get this started."GOD snapped his fingers as sin the wheel appeared out of thin air.I deadpanned "Please tell me this is a joke."
GOD said, "Sorry kid this the only way."
Soon the Wheel of fate spun and it landed in between Harry Potter and TVD. Harry potter really made me angry for many reasons.
GOD smiled and asked, "So you got a crossover world now what is your wishes kid."
GOD thought for a while "Okay kid I will do it but I will not allow anime powers or super  OP world-ending stuff in this world."
I nodded and explained, "For my 1st wish instant mastery in any field be it magic science...etc, 2nd wish My magic should be stronger as I grow older also making me able to use Spells of witches from TVD,3rd wish Grimoire with all spells from Harry Potter and TVD and 4th wish infinite ingredients and stuff for spells and potions from TVD and harry potter."
GOD in amusement asked, "You added little something in your 2nd wish but it was not anything too powerful so I see no problem enjoy your  life."
I backed out after that when gained consciousness  I saw I was in a fucking cupboard I touched my face I felt glasses and scar on the forehead.I muttered, "oh I am fucked GOD messed with me."
I slowly started to get my memories which was all mistreatment at the hands of Dursleys even memories of James, Lily, and Sirius black and some obliviated memories returned showing Dumbledore coming to the house when the Dursleys had hurt harry with Poppy who healed me then Dumbledore obliviates everyone and goes away.
I sighed "So I have a greater Good/borderline evil Dumbledore. I can't go off  live anywhere in Britain since this is basically suicide for me since I do not have any kind of allies here most of Britain are sheep who will change sides easily."
I didn't practice any spells since the chances of dumbles getting alerted by whatever trinkets he has is too great. So I decided to wait for tomorrow plan what to do

"Happy Birthday!" Draco shouted in my ear.

I jerked up in bed and smacked my head against his. We both yelled out and flopped back on the bed and cursed for a while but then sat up.

"You have a really hard head." I accused.

"So do you." Draco shot back. "Mother says you're to wear this."

He passed me a brown package that was tied with string. I opened it and inside was a dark green dress. It reached the floor and had long sleeves that were really wide at the end. I hated sleeves like that mostly because they got in my food. Or just generally in the way.

"I chose it, do you like it?"

"Yeah it's really nice." And it was, apart from the sleeves.

Then I realised he was wearing a matching outfit. I groaned and wondered what Narcissa had planned for the day. Draco then got that look. The look that told me I probably wouldn't like what he was going to say next.

"Severus isn't coming." He said.

"What? Why?" I demanded.

"Mr. Dumbledore sent him somewhere. Severus floo called and was really angry about it. He says happy birthday and to check your parchment around noon."

"Okay." I mumbled. "I'm going to get dressed now."

"Okay. Breakfast's waiting."

I sadly nodded and put the dress on once Draco left. My parchment was in a draw of my bedside table. I took it out and put it in one of the hidden pockets so that I would be able to see Sev's message as soon as it arrived and then I went down to breakfast.

"I am surprised you do not remember me. We saw each other the last time you tumbled down the hill with Vermin, Tuney. I remember it being the best day of the summer."

"Snape!" she gasped.

"She remembers. How convenient. I am here to talk to Mr. Potter."

Petunia Dursley paled but opened the door and allowed me to enter.

"Duddley! Duddikins! Mummy needs you to go out for a while!" Petunia almost screeched.

A whale sized boy descended the stairs, jumping on one directly above the cupboard under the stairs as if it were his favourite past time. I momentarily wondered at the behaviour but then he spoke.

"Who's that? Another freak?"

"We –we don't call g-guests freaks, Dudders. Come on let's go out. This man wishes to talk to Harry."

Duddley came down the stairs frowning.

"You never call him Ha –"

Petunia clamped a hand over his mouth, going paler still. She ushered her son out of the house and slammed the door behind her before I had chance to protest. What kind of person left a child alone with a stranger? I wasn't a total stranger to her but she should not have left. She should have stayed and sat with Potter. Curious I searched the house for the boy.

The lounge was immaculate, as were the kitchen and garden. Upstairs everything was clean and well ordered. One of the bedrooms belonged to Vermin and Petunia. Another was for their son and the last one was used as some sort of store room. It was filled with abused and broken books, toys and muggle inventions. There was no sign of a bed or any other furniture a bedroom needed.

My brow crinkled in confusion. Where was the damned boy? The letters were always addressed to the correct person, down to the correct room of the house. Taking the letter out of my cloak pocket I read the address.

"Cupboard under the stairs?" I murmured to myself. "But why…"

Petunia had been hostile when I arrived and not just because she knew me. I was one of 'your lot', the boy had jumped on the step above the cupboard and called me a freak…

"Surely not." I muttered to myself. "Potter!" I yelled and hurried down the stairs.

When I reached the bottom I stared at the cupboard door for a moment. There was a chain lock on it. I had seen it on the way in but had assumed it was left from when Potter was a child, when it was used to keep him safe. Now it took on a whole new meaning. As did the ventilation grill.

Slowly, with a trembling hand, I slid the lock open and opened the door.

Inside sat a boy. Small for his age he sat at the back of the cupboard and slowly lifted his eyes.

Pain and regret stabbed through my heart. That day came crashing back to me in a vision so bright it may as well be happening all over again. I heard the scream, felt the devastation rip through my heart once more. I swallowed and met those eyes. Those brilliant green eyes that only one other person had dared to possess.

"Excuse me, Sir, but who are you?" the boy said. His voice was hoarse, as if he had not had anything to drink for a long time.

I looked at him more closely and saw that his lips were dry and cracked. His eyes were sunken and he was not only too small but too thin. Even though he was the one who needed care and attention he was the one asking if I needed aid. An action so very true of Lily. I stopped a murderous sneer from contorting my face and took a breath. The boy needed me to be calm.

"I am very well, thank you, Mr. Potter. Your aunt has left the house as I am sure you heard and I have much to discuss with you. Perhaps we should situate ourselves in the kitchen?"

"Yes, Sir." The boy said and crawled out of the cupboard.

I followed him into the kitchen where he sat down at the table. He placed his hands flat, palm down on the table and looked up at me. I worked not to flinch. Instead of initiating the conversation I opened the fridge and pulled out ingredients to make a healthy sized sandwich. Taking bread out of the bread bin I began to make a sandwich. I heard a chair scrape along the floor.

"I can do that for you, Sir."

"No. Sit down, Mr Potter."

I heard him retreat to his chair. When I finished making the sandwich – it had ham, cheese, salad and a light dressing – I placed it in front of him. Potter looked astonished and confused at the same time.

"This is for me?" he asked.

"Or else I would not have placed it in front of you, Mr. Potter." Kind like his mother but an idiot like his father.

"I'm not sure my aunt and uncle would like it, Sir." He looked down, away from the sandwich and into his lap.

"I assure you, they will never find out and much less have the courage to complain to me if they did."

The boy looked back up to me for a second and realising I was sincere began to eat the sandwich. When he was almost finished I filled a glass with water which he drank just as quickly as he had eaten the sandwich.

"Thank you, Sir." He said with a smile. Lily's as well.

"When was the last time you ate?"

"Lunch three days ago… Is there something wrong, Sir?"

I had felt my eyes go wide before I could control them. Three days. It was a wonder he was still standing and able to talk. Three days. Remembering the address on the envelope I decided I was going to have a long conversation with Albus.

"If you are referring you to not eating for three days, then yes." I growled. "No one should be denied food. When you get to Hogwarts you will eat properly, do you understand?"

"What's a Hogwarts, Sir?"

What's a…? He was supposed to know this! He was supposed to have been raised to know about our world. Then again he was also supposed to have three square meals a day. I was going to have a very long conversation with Albus.

"This letter will explain it to you." I gave it to him realising that Abigail would also get hers today and I wouldn't be there because of a certain headmaster.

Potter took the letter and read it aloud. Awe and surprise filled his eyes and he was grinning from ear to ear. He had some answers finally. If he hadn't been told about us he wouldn't know what accidental magic was. But now he knew. Now he knew what he was.

"I'm a – a wizard?"

"Yes, Potter. Now –"

I stopped. Something snapped in the air. Everything went cold and something sinister filled the air.

"What was that, Sir?"

"We must leave. Now." I stood up and walked from the kitchen to Harry's 'room'.

"Is there anything in here that you wish to take with you?"

"No, Sir. Sir?"

"Yes?"

"What about my aunt and uncle? Will they know where I have gone?"

"All will be explained soon. Now we must leave."

I grasped his arm and Disapparated.

We appeared at the front gates of the castle. I spoke the password and was allowed entrance. Tugging Potter along as he was busy staring at everything I marched up to the castle intent on throttling Albus as soon as I saw him.

"Harry, my boy!" the man's cheerful voice called from where he was stood outside the Great Hall.

He made his way over to us and knelt down in front of Potter. He was smiling a smile that rivalled that of the boys when he was reading his letter.

"My you have grown over the years. I remember you from the night your parents were so tragically murdered."

What a way to begin conversing with the boy, I thought but was stopped from thinking anything else when Potter spoke.

"Excuse me, Sir. But my parents were not murdered. My father was a drunkard and crashed the car we were in. That's how I got this scar." He lifted his unruly fringe up and showed the headmaster the scar.

Albus looked older than he was for a moment as incredible sadness took over his features. He seemed to crumble and wither before us.

"Oh, Harry." He whispered. "You have much to learn." He stood up. "Why have you brought him here, Severus?"

"The blood wards have been broken. They've run as I predicted they would if I was sent."

Malfoy Manor
Afternoon

"He said he'd write!" I said staring at the parchment. It was two in the afternoon and still he hadn't written.

"Maybe he is just busy." Narcissa said softly.

"He always said he'd never be too busy for me." my voice was quiet and sounded much more sad than I had meant it too.

I leaned forward over the coffee table and wrote to him.

Where are you? It's gone noon.

I sat there for a few moments before any writing appeared.

Forgive me. A matter of most importance occurred. I have only a few minutes before the Headmaster requests my presence in his office. Happy birthday. How has your day been thus far?

You said you'd be here!

I told Albus I had plans for the day but he insisted that I was needed.

What did he want you to do?

I had to tell Harry Potter he is a wizard. His aunt and uncle have abandoned him and treated him abominably. He has been clinging to me as a limpet does a rock and has only let go so that he can sleep.

I read what he wrote and felt ashamed. Here I was being upset that he wasn't here when he had saved a boy from living alone.

Oh. I hope he gets better. Erm… I've had a good day. Narcissa and Lucius brought me the newest broom. Draco gave me a dress he had to pick out for me to wear today as well as lots of sweets and chocolate frogs. I got a Dumbledore card!

I knew he wasn't impressed, but I really didn't care.

It's not like I get to use it much before I go back to Hogwarts. I got a Hogwarts letter today. It's not like I need one since I live there! We're going to Diagon Alley at the weekend, are you going to be able to come?

I will do my best to sway Albus however I believe will make up an excuse to require my assistance with something.

Yeah, wouldn't be surprised. Okay, well Narcissa says we're going out somewhere. So I'll talk to you later. Bye! x

Hogwarts
Mid-Morning

"I have already missed her birthday in order to help you. Minerva, Filius and most other members staff are more than capable of setting up the wards." I argued back.

"Severus there are not many I would trust with his life. The Weasleys' and you are the top of my list. Please, Severus, for Lily if no one else."

"Fine!" I snapped. "I will allow you to tell her."

I threw the parchment on his desk and slammed the office door as I left.

Malfoy Manor
Mid-Morning

Abigail?

Hello, Albus.

You are not pleased with me?

You made Sev miss my birthday. He really wanted to be here. I know he rescued Harry but he still wanted to be here.

For that I am sorry. And also for today.

What are you making him do this time?

Harry is to live with some friends of mine from now on. Severus is to help me set up the wards.

Does he want to do it?

He agreed.

That's not what I asked, Albus.

Whether he wants to do it or not is irrelevant as he has agreed to do it. You will see him at the start of term feast.

You have more things for him to do?

Merely what he has to do at the beginning of every school year. He will be busy until the beginning of term and I think you would much rather stay with the Malfoys until then. Good bye my dear.

"Bloody great fool!" I shouted getting everyone's attention. I felt tears spring into my eyes.

"He made Severus stay at the castle?" Draco asked.

"Yeah something like that."

Malfoy Manor
Late at night

"She missed you today. Wouldn't stop crying once we got back. She refused to eat dinner." Lucius quietly said from the door.

I brushed some hair out of the way of Abigail's sleeping eyes. She looked pale and her eyes were swollen from crying. I sighed.

"Is it too much trouble to ask you to keep her a while longer? She will be better off here than at the castle with nothing to do."

"Narcissa wouldn't have it any other way though I think you should visit."

"The head master has given me extra duties in warding the castle and otherwise securing it against Death Eaters. I will not have much time to write to her let alone visit."

"He believes it to be soon?" worry entered Lucius's voice. I could tell he looked more aged than he was just from his expression.

"He does. I must get back to the castle."

I took a wrapped gift from my pocket and placed it on the bedside table. I kissed Abigail's forehead and left the room.

"Should we go? Ginny's down there!" It was Harry's voice.
Ah, I must be having a vision of the altered future.
Alex could see everything clearly now. It was Ron and Harry standing over the open entrance to the chamber in Myrtle's bathroom.
Ron spoke, "You remember what Alex said, a Basilisk is down there!"
"Yeah, but she said I defeated it. We can't wait anymore Ginny is down there, dying!"
Ron hesitated.
Shit.
A look of horror dawned on Alex's face as she realized what her reveal caused. Before they didn't truly know about the basilisk. They had a clue from Hermione but what if Alex's involvement changed Hermione's curiosity and ability to find out the truth. The Harry Potter story plot is fragile and based on a series of delicate accidents. Alex may have revealed the ending but the courage to fight along the journey slacked because they knew how it would end. They found out that everything turned out fine and they were heroes. They must have figured that the ending was set in stone so they put no real effort into their search.
Ron looked guilty. But he still hesitated, he muttered harshly under his breath, "Bloody basilisk down there!"
Harry finally looked determined, he gave Ron one last pleading look. They seemed to share the same thought because Harry jumped in and right on his tail was Ron.
Alex's vision swirled and changed. She was watching Harry and Ron crying over a corpse. Ginny's corpse. She lay dead at their feet. Harry looked over to the journal on his left and a young Tom Riddle who was laughing at them. Harry stood and ran towards the dead basilisk. He grabbed a tooth and stabbed the journal. Just like the story should be. Except, because of the boy's hesitation. Because of Alex telling them the truth. Ginny was now dead. Alex felt tears slide down her cheeks and she closed her eyes.
She opened them to find herself in her dorm. Her hair was sticking to the sides of her face with sweat. She sat up and saw the sun just barely over the horizon.
"What cowards. I've really fucked the timeline, and this time it cost Ginny's life."
Alex noticed her roommates were still asleep so she decided to take her shower before they could interrupt her, or run away in fear.
After taking a shower she put on her pants and tucked in her shirt. She left her new Slytherin loose around her neck. She wouldn't get in trouble but a strict teacher would yell at her to tighten it back in her old world. Thinking back to her old life she had a new resolve. She had to save every life she could possibly save, so people wouldn't have to suffer painful deaths as she and her brother had.
She grabbed her school bag and walked out of her dorm room. Nobody was in the common room so she didn't have to interact with anyone. She got out into the dungeon hallway.
Alex had a destination. She had a goal now. She was headed towards the Griffindor tower to scold Ron and Harry. She passed a few students who decided that the floor looked more interesting than watching where they were going, so she witnessed some students walking straight into walls.
She passed a first-year Griffindor student with a black eye being supported by two other students with busted lips and red cheeks. Those students ran away from her in fright. There must have been a fight in the common room, she could hear the commotion from outside the painting. Another two students with messed up clothes and black eyes rushed out the painting not even bothering that Alexis entered right after they left.
What she saw surprised her. Her brother standing over another student with Harry Potter holding him back so he couldn't hit the student again. Peter looked furious. Alexis knew the argument must have started over her, otherwise, he wouldn't be so angry.
Nobody noticed her entrance so she hid behind some students watching. The kid on the floor shouted, "You both are bloody cursed! You're evil! You shouldn't even be in Griffindor! You belong in the dungeons with the snakes and that wretched sister of yours!" After he said that Peter broke out of Harry's hold and started beating the boy's face. Alex stepped forward and the students she hid behind coward away from her at the sight of her white hair. She passed Harry and gave him a nod of thanks. He stepped back.
Peter was still beating on the boy until now but Alex placed a hand on his shoulder. Peter immediately stopped. He looked over his shoulder and saw his sister. He stood up and kicked the boy away. Peter and Alex were the same height so when they looked at each other their eyes locked.
'Stop hurting people based on their small words. They can't hurt us.' Peter read my thoughts again. He nodded and fixed his sleeves that he had previously rolled up. Harry handed him his bag and Peter and Ginny left the common room together. I stopped Harry from following him. Naturally, Ron stayed with Harry.
Some students in the common room were waiting for more action but were disappointed when they saw Harry and I get along well. The common room was soon empty.
"Boys, I need to speak with you about a change in the timeline."
At the mention of the timeline, they both stiffened.
"Ginny dies."
"What!" They both yelled at the same time.
"Hear me out," They stopped talking, "You boys knew what was in the chamber this time so you hesitated to jump in. This hesitation was the last bit of time that let Ginny slip away."
"So because we hesitated, Ginny died." Harry was dumbstruck. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that he hesitated. That wasn't Griffindor of him at all.
Ron looked pale again. The thought of losing his baby sister was unbearable for him. He looked determined to change his sister's fate.
Alex interrupted their thoughts, "I've decided to help you take down the basilisk."
"How? It's not like there's a book for how to fight basilisks. Is there?"
"No there isn't unless you want to count Gilderoy Lockhart's fake books then no. I want to enchant a weapon that will aim for certain parts of the basilisk so I can blind in first. I'm thinking of a bow and a set of arrows. I need to know what weapons you boys think you can handle. So I can make you some suitable equipment."
Harry answered for Ron and himself, "We should both be able to use our wands, thanks though."
"Suit yourselves." I shrugged. It's not like I'm going to let them die, they just won't be much help in the fight.
"That's extremely difficult! You're just a first-year how can you know how to enchant anything?!" Ron seemed unable to believe Alex's claims that she could make a suitable weapon for fighting the basilisk.
"I think you forget who you're talking to Ronald. I'll see you boys, later. Oh, and thank you Harry for trying to help my brother."
"No problem."
I left their common room and headed to the library to look for Hermione. Alex wanted to ask her if she knew any books or a section of the library dedicated to researching different weapon enchantments. Although Grindelwald taught her a lot about enchantments they were most deadly and aimed to kill humans. She needs enchantments to kill a basilisk.
She spotted Hermione at a table surrounded by books on Herbology.
"Hermione."
"Huh? Oh, Alexis. Nice to see you here. Do you need anything? Books?"
"Yes, actually I need to know if there's a book here about enchanting weapons. And if there's anything here about killing a basilisk. I've decided to help you, Harry, and Ron to kill the beast."
"Oh. I was going to research basilisks but when you told us we end up winning I stopped. The section for snake research is over there and right next to it are a few books on weapon and armor enchantment. Have you decided you use an enchanted weapon to kill the snake?"
"Yes. Thank you, Hermione. I'll be going now."
We waved bye to each other and separated. The sections she pointed to were in a dark corner of the library and tinted window was the only source of light. I had an hour to kill before my first class so I sat at the window seat and grabbed a book on how to kill different snakes. There wasn't a mention of how to kill a basilisk, just to avoid getting into contact with them.
I read for the rest of the hour. I left the book on the shelve and headed toward the great hall to get my timetable.

Alex headed towards charms for her first class. She was able to avoid the crowds this morning but she wasn't sure she would fend off the spotlight during her classes.
