Those who unlock such powers are called ‘Hunters’, ones with the strength to kill the monsters. To fight and survive, that is their goal. Society crumbles and the world burns.

A very fun novel that dives into the plot almost instantly. The novel is interesting in a way that it depicts a lot of human nature and what people would do in a situation such as this is quite an accurate manner. The character development is also very good as you get to learn about the characters, their backgrounds, and their stories. All in all, this is another novel I’d recommend to a lot of readers who are interested in reading fantasy and gaming novels.

Qin Wushuang smiled and felt incredibly joyous. On the surface, Zhao Muzhi seemed to not suffer any loss. However, he was able to repay him with a sword attack.

As they had entered into the area of the safe-zone, with little resistance from the soldiers that were guarding it, Eden and her companions were all let inside when Erik bravely came out first from the truck and shouted to them that they are survivors wanting sanctuary and they had followed the broadcast the safe-zone sent out and journeyed to get there.

Some of the men exchanged uncertain cautiousness that was guarding the gates until they turned around and saw their superior leading officer who came forward to greet the newcomers.

Eden kept her silence and stayed inside the truck, while also guardian and protecting the nervous children, and her two dogs seemed to be growling like they don't like this new place they have arrived to.

After the leading officer looked Erik over and then went to look to the other survivors inside the truck, gazing at them as if trying to peer into their souls.

When he seemed to deem them trustworthy and good people, he nodded to his men and barked at them that they can enter and they obeyed and trusted his word and cleared a path for them to drive through and go inside.

As they were being let in, Eden adopted a fake persona of being friendly and accepting of their new home, but in reality, she's on guard and overly cautious and alert of the new surroundings inside her very being.

While they're being introduced by Erik, Eden gently reassured the kids that they'll be fine and have to stay by her side and she also calmed the two dogs down and decides to carry Archer around so that the puppy wouldn't wander off.

Some of the men helped to unload the truck of all of its suppliers, and Eden held back her protests as she lets them go off to store them all to wherever they're storing their supplies.

It seemed a good thing that the only stuff they can have with them is their personal ones that are in their bags and backpacks.

Eden almost glared behind Erik when he went off with the leading officer to meet the other leaders of the safe-zone and she and the children and dogs were left alone to be guided kindly by the others and leading them to where they will be living in and sleeping.

Just as they were settled in a simple room, in a newly built suburban house inside the safe-zone.

Eden settled the kids nicely to their beds which they're all staying in and she let Archer sleep with the kids on the beds while Luna stayed beside them on the ground, guarding over them.

After she made sure that they're already tucked in and were going to sleep, Eden went to her bed and took out her hidden journal and writes a new entry on it.

JOURNAL ENTRY: DAY UNKNOWN, 11TH MONTH NOVEMBER, YEAR 2XXX

Hey, it's Eden again.

Well, we finally made it!

We actually made it to the safe-zone.

It's not much of a grand place, but it is a large area for many survivors who have survived through the apocalypse and living there safe and sound.

But I know better to know that this place might be too good to be true.

Sure, it has all-around secure concrete stone walls, high enough to rival towers or something, but I knew that there will always be something that would breach into the safe place.

I am still feeling overly paranoid and cautious, not because I'm on uncharted territory now--but it's because of the deep feeling in my guts that this place is strangely safe in that kind of way.

Not good strange, but the kind of 'bad' strange.

I'm not sure whether such a safe-zone like this really could be safe and secure.

There are always possibilities all around us and I'm keeping my mind open about this but hiding my suspicions about it inside.

So, I plan to ensure that if this safe-zone is safe and secure, and I'll be faking myself into a persona to be approachable and friendly.

I won't be acting like my real self that Erik knew before back then in Z-city. When I was a tough-hardened well-prepared survivalist.

In any case, I'll be writing more entries soon, and might write this in code, just in case, someone might find this and discover my plans.

There is no such thing as so much as a very safe place unless you're sure that it is.

Anyway, I'll be writing again soon, the next time.

This entry I'm writing, it will be ripped out of my journal and tucked away hidden until it's safe for myself to put it back again.

And true to her written word, after Eden finished writing her entry, tore it off and hid it in a secret place, and then wrote a 'fake' entry into it to substitute the one she had written and finished and hides the journal away in her bag, she relaxed and laid back in the new bed she's going to sleep in from now on.

She glanced at the kids as they are already asleep in their new beds too, along with her two dogs that are sleeping peacefully next to them.

She wondered what kind of first impressions she will see and meet among the people in the safe zone, and find out how they react when they meet her in return.

Hopefully, this place known as the safe zone is truly safe and that the people living in it are really good. Eden knows that no safe place is too good to be true unless you checked it again twice.

Elyon knew that "Romance" is not his strong point. He writes a fantasy story with romance, but he can't tell if the romance will be able to attract female readers. Out of curiosity, he asked some of his fellow authors the question "Why do you read romance stories?"

Here are their answers…

Kyosei: Because I am single. 

Reili: To fill my empty void of a love life.

Minrei: Because romance let you feel what is to be loved, plus it is universal you dont need to learn magic or cultivation in order to read.

Bajj: Due to lack of romance irl.

Murakami: I read because I enjoy the friction and conflict between the FL and ML. The insistence vs resistance is naisu.

Qin: I reads romance only for ideas and info.

VlassisBehrakis: I don't read romance novels.

Elyon then  ̶a̶m̶b̶u̶s̶h̶e̶d̶ asked some readers about their opinion about romance novels.

Yin: I read romance novels because I want that kind of drama to happen to me in real life. But I know it will never happen haha.

A Certain Irresistible Meowlin: I wonder why? And I do read romance novels. Though the chance of me dropping them is also the highest out of all the genres. Every so often I come across a scene that makes me just want to squeal and fangirl.

Elyon decided to dig deeper and asked a few of his senior "romance authors" some questions about their reason for writing romance stories.

The first question is… Why did you choose to write Romance Stories?

Anjeeriku: I'm comfortable writing romance stories compared to other genres. I'm a helpless romantic person and I like novels that can invoke other people's feelings.

Bajj: First of all, I like reading romance story. It was the reason why I read books before and reading other genres comes after. All in all, due to these romance fiction books, I got the opportunity to read more great books with different genre.

MishaK: That's what I read, so write that too.

Zehell2218: Because as reader, I want to read romance novel so when I write, I write romance since my motto is I write what I want to read.

Ikazainudin: The easiest genre. Everyone can relate.

End_of_Era: It wasn't a full on Romance, it was slice of life with romance which I feel was necessary with progression of the characters.

The second question… When you were making your ML and FL, did you imagine yourself as the lead of your story at any given point in time?

Anjeeriku: I would be a liar if I said no. There were instances that I'd put myself in my FL's shoes. Whenever that happens, my writing feels more passionate and truthful that sometimes it was hard to know where my fl starts and where I end. 

Shen Yi, LMD's ML was based on a person I've lost, The One That Got Away so it was sometimes hard not to self-insert whenever there were scenes that need to invoke feelings from readers. 

Bajj: I believe that every character the author was making and breathing life into it, a part of him/her is added to its character. But me imagining of being the ML/FL, never. I'm too pure for that. Kek

MishaK: Yes I did but sometimes. Otherwise you can't infuse emotions in your characters. It is important to understand your characters.

Zehell2218: Yes, I imagine myself as the lead. Of course, I tweak it a bit, such as in age and appearance. But mostly, the characteristics is similar to me.

Ikazainudin: FL and ML character based on what I want to be irl. Yup. I imagine that will be my love story.

End_of_Era: Yes, my leads had some ocassional self insertion.

The third question… If you were to choose some other genre aside from romance, what would you pick?

Anjeeriku: Fantasy. I always look up to those authors who can write fantasy stories/novels well. I believe writing a fantasy novel is harder than writing romance.

Hello Guys! I hope you enjoyed this chapter of WWCG. Personally, I've read a few CEO novels myself. I also read some FL stories like A Slight Smile Is Devastating (Love O2O), Hidden Marriage, Doomed to be Cannon Fodder, Transmigrator meets Reincarnator, A Mistaken Marriage Match: A Generation of Military Counselor, There Is an Angel in That Church (short story), Eight Treasures Trousseau, Grabbing Your Hand, Dragging you Away, A Mistaken Marriage Match: Record of Washed Grievances…

Ai~ there's a few more that I won't add to the list because it will create a wall of text. Well anyways, the reason why I read these stories is to get an idea on "WHY" the ladies love to read them.

Let's just say that it's a unique way to see a world in the eye of a lady (if you are a man of course). When done properly, the execution of the story can capture the hearts of anyone, even male readers. I believe that no matter what gender you are, as long as you find the story interesting then it doesn't matter whether you are a guy or a gal no?

Perhaps, when I'm not too busy to write my stories, I'll once again pick a romance novel to read. Hopefully, I will find another hidden gem that will bring unexpected surprises to anyone who are lucky enough to find them.

I'm gonna go edit previous chapters for a bit and wait for there to be more reviews until I continue. I am the type who sometimes feels like writing and other times not, so I can't be bothered anymore...

Writing the ten days is too long and tedious. There is a simple story but it's hidden under a lot of character moments that are stressing me because I feel like my glossary and plans are staring me down to get me to write it the way I planned them to be.

I know Webnovel writers value freedom and you guys are going to tell me to just do that, but there is a specific story I want to tell and the only problem is that I feel like the story is affecting me.

I'll wait until I see the popular opinion of what have been written so far since it isn't like I can tell what readers are truly thinking while reading this. Are my jokes funny? Do I sound too preachy sometimes?

I don't know anymore... I'll wait for more opinions.
