I'm currently learning Korean. I started learning maybe 2-3 weeks ago? 
I'm learning through an app called Drops because apps like Rosetta Stone don't seem to be for beginners like me, and Duolingo just isn't good for learning languages!
Duolingo pronounces things strangely... I was learning Vietnamese (as I was born in Vietnam, but lost the language growing up in the US)  and nothing sounded like what I'm used to, maybe it's just the accent they use, but I feel like Duolingo does the same thing with Korean. I couldn't tell the sounds apart and constantly matched the letters and sounds incorrectly. I also feel like it also wasn't suited for a stupid beginner like me lol. 
What do you think?

The girls were especially cheering for him. It was around lunchtime. They were all hungry, so lunch sounded better than a boring briefing.

There would be some conflicts for sure, but that was exactly what I wanted. I wanted to learn from the bottom. Doing that, I would learn what I need for my dungeon as well. I needed to learn more about humans and awakened heroes.

The Guild of Heaven's Will was a different story. As long as they are influenced by Kim Yongwoo, they wouldn't treat me as a regular member. They had their own system for raiding, so there was nothing I could really learn from them. 

Systemized raiding was something I saw enough in my former life.

Delilah quickly packed her things after shutting down her computer. She waved goodbye to those who passed by her cubicle. 

Shortly after, she was at the office lobby, with her phone in her hand. 

Instead of heading straight home, she was planning to go straight to her language class. She had just texted her father in the family group chat, saying that she's going to her class straight away. 

Few weeks ago, she had applied for a Korean Language class. Although she had attended once, she was still nervous. Probably because she still would not be able to learn much. Learning a new language was difficult for her. 

People say that it was easy. But she had argued that it depends on one's determination and will to learn. Even though she has the determination and will, she had to admit that it wasn't that strong. Learning a new language was something she wanted to add to her skill. 

The class was a few minutes drive from her office in one of the shopping centres in the city. 

Parking her car at a designated parking lot, she got out of her car and headed straight for the shopping centre. The class was on the second floor and she used the stairs to get there, instead of a lift. She thought maybe she could get a little exercise by climbing the stairs. 

Opening the door that leads to the class, she was greeted by the admin, who was manning the front desk. The place was similar to a school, albeit a private school or 'cram school'. 

Other than Korean language, they also offer language classes for Japanese, Arabic and Chinese. 

Nodding 'hello' to the admin, Delilah walked towards her class. Since it wasn't her first time, she knew where her class was.

The class was a two-hours class with a fifteen minutes break in the middle. 

Although they don't actually eat during the break, rather just drink, Delilah spent her breaks, just recalling the topics that they had learned. It was not because she was a diligent student. It was just that she needed more practice. She really was weak when it comes to learning a new language. Truth be told, she was weak in her own standard language. 

After the class was over, Delilah went to pack her things and said her thank you to her songsaenim. 

Leaving the school, she realized that she was getting hungry. She really needs some brain food at that moment. 

Fortunately, on the ground floor of the shopping centre, there were many food stalls being set up. She decided to buy her dinner at one of the stalls.

The tteokbokki [3] looked delicious. But it looked really spicy by how red it looked. She does not have the craving to eat spicy food at that moment. Studying the menu that was placed near the stall, she was surprised to see corn cheese being sold. 

It was not because it was difficult to make but rather, not many stalls would sell this. She did not know why. 

She decided to place her order for that and also some japchae [4]. Since there wasn't any place for her to sit and eat, she ordered her food to go. 

Few minutes later, she arrived at home with her two steaming food. She immediately went into the kitchen and placed her food on the dining table. 

She then went up to her room to take a shower. 

Once done, she went back to the kitchen. She took the take-outs from the plastic bag and began to open the cover. The food was still steaming hot, much to Delilah's delight. 

Before eating the japchae, she decided to eat the corn cheese since it's more delicious to eat it when it's hot. 

Scooping the corn, the cheese was stretchy as she pulled her spoon higher. The steam still came out from the food, indicating that it was still hot. She blew on the corn and took a bite. The corn was sweet and savory, giving out a heavenly flavour. It was loaded with butter mixed in it, making the taste more palatable and rich.

She loved how the corn seems to burst into flavour as she chewed on them. 

Few minutes later, she cleaned up after herself, already done with her dinner. Cleaning the kitchen, she then went up to her room to sleep.

The next day.

Delilah was rearranging her papers into a neat pile when Aubree knocked on the wall of her cubicle. 

"Hey Delilah. Howard's here."

Delilah turned around and nodded. She picked up the papers and her mobile phone and went out of her cubicle, heading straight for one of the meeting rooms. Aubree went back to her cubicle.

Inside the meeting room, Howard was sitting alone, in front of his laptop. He was typing on his laptop, not noticing Delilah's knock.

Delilah loudly cleared her throat. "Um, Howard?"

Looking up, Howard looked surprised at first when he saw Delilah, as if he forgot that he had called for her. He then gave her a smile and gestured for her to sit.

She took a seat across him and waited patiently as he finished off what he was doing.

Soon after, Howard set his laptop aside and held out his hand. "Are those the reports that I requested?" he asked.

Delilah nodded and handed him the papers.

Howard immediately looked through the report, turning the pages numerous times.

A few minutes later, the two went into a deep discussion. Delilah mainly talked about her opinions and reasons as to why she had changed some of the words. She showed Howard the little post-its that she had stuck on the reports, summarizing the words.

The discussion took them nearly three hours. And when Howard finally stopped the meeting, the two went their separate ways. Delilah immediately went to lunch whereas Howard went straight to the other branch, since he had another meeting with another employee of the company.

In the office cafeteria, Aubree was having her lunch, sitting at the table, together with Fawkes and Shazzy.

The three of them looked up when Delilah had approached them, pulling out a chair for her to sit. 

"How was the little meeting?" Aubree asked.

Delilah shrugged as she took out her lunch box from her lunch bag. "The usual," she said nonchalantly. 

Fawkes shook his head in bemusement. "I don't know how you two could spend hours in a meeting," he said. "What do you guys even talk about?"

Delilah shrugged again. "This and that," she said. "And of course, knowing Howard, he likes to talk off-topic."

Aubree laughed. "Yeah, he does," she agreed.

"I've never been in a meeting with him before," Shazzy said softly. She was one of the newest employees in the Kang Company. She has been in the company for a few months now.

Aubree, Delilah and Fawkes turned to her and said, "Be grateful that you haven't!"

They all continued to talk while Delilah listened on as she ate. She does drop some comments in-between but that was it. It seems like she had a lot of things in her mind. Not only was she still thinking of the meeting but she was thinking of her language class.

She sighed inwardly. 'How does one improve their language skill?' she thought to herself.

"Lee, do you know any politicians or high officials in Korea?" 
Yaniv called Youngho and asked a random question.


"If I knew any prominent person in Korea, I wouldn't have to go through the hoop. I was just a common salary man before starting a merchandise."

"Phew, that's a bad news. President Putin told me in advance that the oil price will fluctuate soon, OPEC* is getting ready to cut the oil production."

"If you know anybody in Korea, I thought you could put him wise to this."

"Mr. Yaniv. When are they cutting the oil production?"

"I heard that they will officially announce it a month later, so I also told President Aliyev that he should postpone signing long-term contracts with Western countries."

Once the decrease of oil production was announced, the gas price would rise at an extremely fast pace. Due to low the low oil price, oil producing countries who were not earning as much amount of money as before were about to pull out their hidden card. Countries that lived relying on importing such as Korea, could only save dollars when they sign long-term contracts with oil producing countries now. Youngho hung up the phone after he was done talking with Yaniv.

No matter how much money he made overseas and send some to his family in Korea, the increased oil prices would have a huge impact on Korea's economy in a negative way. Although he now knew top-rated information, there was no way for him to tell this to the Korean government. Even if he somehow succeeded in letting the government know, he was not sure if they would trust him.

Youngho pushed on building Zeynep's log cabin to later since he needed to deal with this problem first. It could make Korea lose hundreds millions of dollars. He needed to deliver the message to the Korean government and let them know as soon as possible, but he did not know any hotline.
After thinking for a while, he decided to meet a representative of the Korean embassy in Baku. Without making any appointment, he just went in the building. Since he was a well-known Korean businessman in Baku, all the officials recognized him.
He took a hold of an ambassador who was about to walk out for a business trip and told him about the emergency and the details of the message that needed to be delivered to the Korean government. The Azerbaijan's Korean ambassador K was a self-made man who became an ambassador after passing the Foreign Service examination. Youngho believed that the ambassador would try his best to benefit his country, so he told him the important secret. He had faith since the officials of the embassy had been coming to Youngho to ask for favors to help Korean businessmen in Azerbaijan. They were certain that the ambassador K would be willing to help Korea.  The ambassador's face hardened as soon as he heard from Youngho.

It was an important matter that could not be shared with other countries and that could shake the Korean economy. The ambassador canceled his entire schedule and sent a diplomatic pouch to Korea. The embassy did not use phone calls, faxes, or e-mails to deliver important messages fearing the security monitoring of Azerbaijan's intelligence agency. As if that was not enough, he immediately reserved the earliest flight ticket to Korea and left to the airport. It was not common for an ambassador to leave the country of sojourn but ambassador K believed that it was an urgent matter, he made an extreme decision.

Youngho had already gave the baton to ambassador K. The rest depended on him and how fast Korean politicians and related officials will act upon the matter. Feeling he had not done enough, Youngho called Sangchun in Korea to look for people working in the related-government branch but he could not find any connections. It was same with Jongil and Inso, they did not have many connections. Since Korean mainstream society was very narrow, it was natural for Youngho and his friends who belonged to fringe groups to not have many useful connections around for this kind of a matter.

Youngho also called Michael of the European chapter and slipped Yaniv's information. Since it was information from President Putin, he thought it was trustworthy. By letting him know, America could large amounts of oil from the Middle East if acted fast and when America has benefited by Youngho's information, he thought that he would nag Michael to make America sell oil to Korea at a cheap price when the price skyrocketed. Of course, it was nonsense but he thought that he could at least try.
Michael unconditionally trusted any information provided by Youngho. However, he requested him not to tell anybody about this. Youngho said that he already told this to the Korean government but he had little hope.
Michael swore that the Koreans would never act upon this information. He wanted to sell the exclusive information to private oil corporations. Before he was promoted to the CIA headquarters, he planned to make money and he would share it with Youngho.
Youngho agreed to him since it would happen anyway and he had nowhere else to tell the information. If it was sold at an expensive price, he wanted to use the money to help out young generations of Korea. Many young Koreans who dreamed of starting their own business lived in poor environments eating ramen all the time. He wanted to invest in them. 

Because Youngho could not wait any longer, he called ambassador K in Korea and urged him to inform the private oil corporations as well. Even though he tried to make things right as much as possible, he could not get rid of a bad feeling that the Korean government would let this opportunity pass. Michael's definite statement was still on his mind.
Since it would not get any better no matter how much he worried about it, Youngho focused on building Zeynep's log cabin, which was postponed. While working on it, he could forget about the whole oil issue. He worked on it with his friends from morning to dark breathing sawdust-filled air. Because they worked hard on the cabin log for days, the log cabin exterior looked like a decent cabin now. Eventually, they exposed their limit as beginners by completing the cabin without putting a fireplace. Getting an earful from Zeynep, they had to buy ready-made iron fireplace and tear down part of a wall to build a chimney. Finally, the imperfect little log cabin for Zeynep was completed.

He has not heard of anythinf back from Korea but Michael called Youngho to inform that he transferred 10 million dollars in his account. It was not sure to whom he sold the information but it was a huge amount that made Youngho drop his jaw. He wondered how much Michael had received for his share.
Michael was indeed on another level. It seemed that it was not out of mere luck that he became the chief of the European chapter. He also told Youngho that after the OPEC publicly announce the decrease of oil production, the rest of the money would be transferred to his account in addition. At the end of the call, what he said was the highlight.
He said that the person directly involved in signing the deal usually received more than the source person of information.

Youngho wanted to dance with joy. It was not a dream to be a billionaire if he kept making money at this rate. For this incident, he learned that high ranks in the CIA sometimes sold information. It would not be possible if the other party did not trust the information offered, but information coming from the mouth of a high rank intelligence agent was credible. Michael probably had made this kind of a deal multiple times in the past.
Since the information was profitable, the corporation had sent money. Moreover, it was only the security deposit for the deal. He could see how much money the oil corporations spent on lobbying. This was also the reason why the oil price did not go down easily. Not only the oil corporations paid an astronomical amount of money on oil exploration but also they spent so much on lobbying.
 
Looking at ambassador K's effete face, Youngho could guess what happened. He sighed and told him what happened; Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy had declined K's suggestion with a reason that they could not trust an unreliable source of information. He even met many politicians in different departments but they did not take it seriously. Thankfully, some Korean oil corporations paid attention to his words.
It was understandable that the government branches and politicians could not trust the information from an unknown source but what got Youngho furious was that they did not even try to investigate the authenticity of the information. Instead of declining the suggestion of an ambassador working in an oil-producing country, who flew to Korea to deliver the message, they should have studied any movements of oil-producing companies or other foreign major oil corporations.

Enraged with the Korean government's attitude, he yelled at ambassador K that he should not contact him to ask favors for other Korean companies in Azerbaijan and left the embassy building. He could not believe that he had been worried sick and stressed over this matter for days for his own country just to hear what K had said.
Just like the past Korean ancestors, the officials of the Korean government still were not responsive to an imminent problem. They always tried to cover their faults after problems became their reality. This is why Korea still could not join the ranks of the advanced countries. Living outside of Korea, he could see Korea from a new perspective. He was way more patriotic in here compared to the times when he was in Korea since he missed his own country. Sometimes it was so painful to watch Koreans suffer but for this time, he was disgusted by his own country.

Giving up the foolish government officials, Youngho emailed private Korean oil corporations to inform them about the future oil price change and urged them to sign contracts quickly. Seeing Youngho struggle to save his own country, Jongil was upset too. It seemed that Korean people were a babe in the woods. They had such narrow views, that Youngho even wanted to pull young people and show them around the world. Living outside Korea, he could see that many Korean lived as blindfolded.
After a month, the OPEC, an intergovernmental organization consists of 15 countries that produced oil, announced the decision to decrease oil production. For selling this information, Youngho received 10 million dollars in his account. It was an affair that made a huge fortune for an individual like him, but he was disturbed by the Korean government's lukewarm reaction. Korea had lost an opportunity to secure oil at cheap prices.
He had sent a person to the Korean embassy multiple times to set up a meeting to discuss about the measures but he heard nothing back from them. He did not want to deal with any of the embassy people anymore. Everybody was the same. From this incident, he gave up his hope to rely on Korea. He was able to make it this far alone anyway.
If there were any Korean officials or politicians who would come to him with an open mind, he might be able to help them in the future but he decided not to try to help them first. He could not sleep in disappointment because of the indifferent officials who did nothing but only maintained their positions,  Korea would make hundred millions of dollars more to already wealthy oil-producing countries.

An official of the embassy came to visit Youngho again. This time, he came to hand in an invitation. Youngho, who was reading the invitation after receiving it, suddenly cussed and ripped the invitation before the official's eyes.  The official's eyes were widened in surprise. He had not expected Youngho's reaction since he was known to be a gentle business owner in Baku who had been helping out Korean companies and businessmen in Azerbaijan. However, Youngho's absurd behavior was enough to shock him since he did not know about the inside story of the recent crisis of the decrease in oil production.

Hearing that Youngho not only rejected the embassy's invitation without words but also ripped the invitation card, the embassy was in an uproar. His gesture meant that he would not cooperate with the Korean embassy at all in the future. The bad news was a bolt out of the blue to ambassador K.

After buying his food, Hayden ate. While eating, he heard two people entangled in a heated argument.

"Seriously? It's the first day of school." Hayden's face twitched as he mumbled. Why would there be people fighting each other the very first day of school?

Friends haven't seen the school for three months. Even if they did get into a fight during summer, it was nonsensical to get into a conflict during the first day of the entire school year! He just couldn't grasp what's with the fighting and all…

Sighing, he proceeded to go to the elevators. While waiting, out of curiosity, he wanted to see what the two were talking about, thus, he activated Divine Perception and focused on the two.

"No! Shadowbane is the better superhuman because of his skillset! Your Primordial is trash! Utter trash, I tell you!" The one on the right said woefully.

"Primordial has a good mobility skill, has an execution skill, and a passive that outrights destroy the defenses of superhumans!" The one on the left retorted. "Plus, his lore is more interesting than your Shadowbane. Shadowbane is only a ninja that uses shadows and all that, while Primordial is a literal god of destruction."

"Perhaps Primordial's lore is more interesting, but Shadowbane's skillset in the game is better! One skill allows him to pull superhumans towards him and stuns them, while his ultimate traps superhumans inside a world of darkness, stealing their vison, makes them susceptible to more damage, and slows their movement by 75%!" The other one retorted.

"Primordial has a dash that can stun superhumans, a skill that throw them backwards, and an ultimate that can execute them by slamming them into the ground. Your Shadowbane is merely a basic-level superhuman with a low skill cap, while Primordial's skillset demands higher micromanagement skills." Another argument was thrown with a matter-of-fact tone.

Hayden, who was listening in to their opinions, was stunned. "Any superhuman is good in the hands of a good player, so why are they quarreling about which superhuman is better? I once encountered a Primordial who literally carried his entire team through a match. Even Noah and his ark couldn't carry those animals. Meanwhile, I once had a good Shadowbane teammate that had an unconventional glass cannon build, mostly carrying us through team fights, and soloed five people at once, such a legend..."

He knew that what the two were fighting about was War of Honor, the currently most popular MOBA pc game in the entire world. War of Honor captured the hearts of players with its fantastic graphical design, and uncanny balance in superhumans, which were the characters played in the game.

"Ahh, such good times." Hayden reminisced his countless hours poured into the game. Ultimately, he dropped it as he always got bad teammates. He was a good player, but not good enough so as to carry heavyweights with his skill level. "Such bad luck."

Being bitter about his past experiences in having pig-like teammates, he stepped out of the cafeteria. Because of this event, he was reminded of his past and was put into a sour mood. He proceeded to wait for the elevator and went to the 7th floor.

Hayden spent the rest of the day using Divine Perception to remember every single one of the beginning lesson. Thankfully, there were no further introduce yourselves, an activity that he loathed to the core.

Finishing packing up his bag, Hayden wanted to go home as soon as possible. He still had so many things to test, and he also wanted to see if the Origin Crystal will actually give him more information.

As a result, he hurriedly went to the elevators once more to go down. When he arrived at the ground floor, he walked towards the exit without delaying.

After walking for thirty minutes, he finally arrived at his house. In a hurried manner, he changed his clothes into comfortable ones and sat on his bed.

"Now, let me see if there's more information given to me." Hayden talked to himself, making the Origin Crystal resurface in his chest.

Looking at it for a few seconds, he touched it. Information rushed through his mind again, this time, different from the ones he gained from the previous enlightenment.

Apparently, the Origin Crystal is connected to the heart, infusing essence energy into the heart. When the Origin Crystal infuses essence energy into the heart, it then passes it onto the blood cells going through the heart. Afterwards, the blood cells go through different parts of the body, activating the latent potential of the cells it passes through, creating the effect that is the Ability.

In the case of Hayden's Divine Perception, it works by stimulating the cells on his entire nervous system and sensory organs, giving him the power of superhuman senses, and computer-like information processing speeds. 

On the other hand, when Hayden wills Indestructible Devil to activate, his genes are stimulated, awakening a dormant gene from his genetic history. This gives him the effect gotten from various animal species, ancient, extinct… and mythical?

"Wait, mythical creatures exist? What the…" Hayden was astounded of the information given to him by the Origin Crystal. "Oh, so that's why it's called Origin Crystal… It awakens the hidden potential of the human body ever since the beginning of time. If so, wouldn't it be evidence that a superior civilization or race existed before humans?"

The more Hayden thought about it, the more he thought that there was more to this Origin Crystal. Just then, another wave of information was ingrained into his brain.

"Wait, Divine Perception gives me what?" Examining the data given to him by the Origin Crystal, he was stunned. Seemingly, Divine Perception doesn't only enhance his own senses and information processing, it also enhanced the speed of the travel between the neurons, giving him faster reflexes.

"So, because of the awakening of the Divine Perception, and the potential of my genes were unlocked using essence energy, now even when I don't use Divine Perception, I still possess peak-human senses, reflexes… and coordination?" Hayden was suspicious of this information.

He got a piece of paper along with two ballpoint pens. After, he tried to draw a circle and a square separately. To his surprise, he succeeded! What more, the circle and square were of perfect proportional dimensions. This implied that he possessed perfect dexterity because of his brain functioning much better prior to awakening.

"Goodness, this is indeed something. I had these genes in me all along?" He uttered to himself. "The Origin Crystal only awakens dormant potential and stimulates the sleeping genes hidden within human bodies. If that's true, then wouldn't that mean I descended from a demon. No, perhaps a race that was akin to that of a demon."

From the details given to him by the Origin Crystal, it seemed that he was a descendant of a creature that has similarities with a demon. He wouldn't dare to think that he actually descended from the devil, the king of hell. Even if he didn't believe in religion all that much, he was still a little horrified of having thought of such a thing.

Next, he glossed over the knowledge in his mind once again. Now, he knew that Divine Perception, whenever it was activated, would give him enhanced senses, information processing, reflexes, learning capability, eidetic memory, superior neural transmission speeds, absolute bodily awareness, intense focus and concentration, and a tranquil mind that wouldn't be boggled by anything.

"I can do so many things with this power, and on top of that, I was given Indestructible Devil? Is that normal?" Hayden's face turned peculiar. This was definitely not normal, giving him a power like this, and another power like Indestructible Devil was too unfair. In fact, possessing one of these powers was already unfair! "What did I do to gain such a fortune?"

Hayden deeply sighed. He went ahead and touched the Origin Crystal again so as to gain information on indestructible Devil next. Much to his shock, Indestructible Devil was another godly power that would literally turn him into a superhuman in terms of physical abilities.

"In summary, in my genes is contained two genes coming from two races called 'Phantom Demon' and 'Indestructible Titan.' Also originating from this Origin Crystal, my mother had, within her, the 'Phantom Demon,' and my father has this 'Indestructible Titan.' They have these unknown mythical genes inside of them. In a one in a billion chance, they met each other and created me, giving me this Ability called Indestructible Devil." Hayden smiled wryly. What the hell was this? Phantom Demon? Indestructible Titan? English names even though they were ancient races? Like hell it was! "But, so far, everything coming from the Origin Crystal is true. It sounds crazy, yet, this is the only explanation for me having that kind of power. Despite that, what about Divine Perception?"

He was confused as of this moment. If Indestructible Devil came from the amalgamation of two ancient and quiescent DNA, then what about Divine Perception? He touched the Origin Crystal in hopes of finding out its origin to no avail. "My curiosity is itching right now. Alas, I think I wouldn't be able to actually know the origin of this Divine Perception. I can only speculate that this is a power unique to me, born because of an absolute stroke of luck."

Breathing out heavily, he touched the Origin Crystal to gain what powers Indestructible Devil had in store for him. 

When Indestructible Devil is inactive, it gave him what was called Devil's Persistence, giving him increased healing factor, weak spiritual and mental defenses.

While active, it gave him enhanced strength, speed, toughness, and regeneration. The reddish skin was a side-effect of the hardening of his skin, bones, tendons, and organs. It also gave him the power to change his nails into claws, his teeth into fangs, and was granted retractable horns and a tail that he has total control over. With this power, comes the side effect of growing in size, at least 1.5 times his own size, if he fully activates Indestructible Devil. The weak spiritual and mental defenses were also enhanced in this state.

"What a convenient power…" Hayden couldn't accept this. Even he felt these two Abilities were imbalanced, what if other wielders came to know of it? "Additionally, these two Abilities can evolve once enough essence energy accumulates inside of my body, awakening another portion of the suppressed genes."

Hayden breathed heavily. Together with its powers, it can still evolve, becoming more formidable. "I seriously will not use this Indestructible Devil unless it's necessary. It's too flashy and too big of an advantage. Moreover, I think possessing two Abilities at once is abnormal. Let's see…"

Wanting to know if it was likely to possess two Abilities, he put his finger on the Origin Crystal again. According to it, Hayden was truly a special case. His suspicions were correct that gaining two Abilities was atypical and incredibly rare. In truth, many wielders who have the potential to awaken will only possess a single Ability.

This was because their genes do not have the capacity to accumulate such a pure bloodline of two Abilities at once, nor can their bodies handle such power.

"Okay then, it's settled that I would not reveal Indestructible Devil, except for special occasions, wielder or not." Hayden nodded with decisiveness. If he stumbles across a problem, the very last resort is Indestructible Devil, only to be used during extreme situations, or, in the least, no one should see.

"That's enough for now." Hayden stopped touching the Origin Crystal and hid it. "There'll be more experimentations on the way. First, is my learning capability. If I have eidetic memory, wouldn't I be able to learn much more things? Plus, the Origin Crystal explicitly stated that Divine Perception gave me enhanced learning capabilities!"

Hayden immediately activated Divine Perception and watched a piano cover video on his phone. Prior to that, he tried to research about the notes in an 88-key piano, which was what he owned as a gift from his parents.

He said he wanted to learn it, yet, didn't actually bothered to do it. Hence, the piano was only accumulating dust in his closet. It was a waste, which led Hayden to make a decision of at least experimenting on it to see if he can learn at least one song in such a short amount of time.

Needless to say, it would take a long time to actually learn the piano. Regardless, Hayden could still memorize a song or two, right? And if it comes down to it, perhaps playing the piano by studying a cover of a song once.

It didn't take long for him to 'take a picture' of the notes of a piano. It did take a few minutes to try to ingrain it in his mind though, integrating it into his 'instinct.' When one is learning something, they will form a connection with what they're learning, allowing them to recall one thing instantly. When one has truly learned something, one would instinctively do movements without even thinking about it. Like in a combat situation, if a soldier learned hand-to-hand combat and has truly mastered it, he would be able to take down his opponent without thinking, with his body moving on its own.

This was called muscle memory, a procedural memory that a person attains when they rinse and repeat a particular action. In a soldier's case, that will be the repeated combat training, and, in a skilled sharpshooter's case, it was the repetitive shooting and practice.

"Let's see." Hayden watched a video of a complex piano. Using his Divine Perception, he unknowingly entered into a state of intense concentration, allowing him to fully grasp the timing, keys, and needed movement in the video using his sense of hearing and vision.

Because of his intense concentration, he subconsciously locked the sense of smell, touch, and the pretty useless sense of taste, further boosting his vision and hearing to greater levels. When the video finished, for some reason, Hayden felt as if he can literally play what he watched right now, which was the Third Movement of the Moonlight Sonata by Beet Hoven. 

This piece was considered not hard to play for an expert in piano, much less a keyboard, which was less complicated than a true piano. Hayden was a greenhorn though, and supposedly, this piece was hard and demanding for absolute beginners.

Hayden set up the keyboard in the middle of his room. Sitting down and cracking his knuckles, he put his hands on the starting position, just like in the video. He concentrated on the piano. Consequently, he was thoroughly able to remember every single movement from the video, his hands going in 'automatic mode.'

The exact movements, the timing of each movement, what notes were pressed, everything. Pressing the first key, Hayden went into a state of utter focus, pressing the precise keys in his mind. Without thinking about it, his hands moved flawlessly.

If an expert were in the room with Hayden and they didn't know that Hayden was a complete newbie in playing the piano, they would think he was an experienced pianist.

About 18 minutes later, Hayden finished the piece, breaking his state of mind. He deactivated Divine Perception and tried to play the Moonlight Sonata again.

He knew what keys he would press, and when he would press them. Wearing a surprised expression, his hands moved like flowing water, extremely smooth with 100% accurate timing and astonishing technique.

Hayden broke his gaze towards the piano, and startlingly, he was still playing. It was like his body knew where to move! No, wait, it was not 'like,' it was exactly the situation!

"Learning capabilities are heightened to terrifying levels…" Hayden mumbled as he was still playing the Moonlight Sonata. Continuing on playing the piano by going on automatic mode, he was thinking to himself.

'It's true. I wonder what I should learn?' Contemplating on what he should study, he still kept on playing the piano without his focus. It was like his body was robotic, moving on its own. 'Martial arts? No, it's too soon for that. The piano? It's not that practical for me to be honest. That would be my hobby, playing the piano. Then, a language?'

Deliberating his choices, Hayden found the path. "The Korean language!"

 Huang Hualing was currently eavesdro- ahem- I mean overhearing a conversation between two of her classmates, Xiao Chonglin and Long Fan, two infamous gaming nerds at her school. After hearing the word "game", Hualing's ears immediately perked up as she intently listened to their private conversation. 'Hmm a new game huh?' she thought to herself, 'maybe I'll just have to give this one a try'. 
 As a bonafide gaming addict, Hualing was constantly searching for new and addicting games to pass her free time with. She was average in all aspects regarding academics, however, she is known as the queen of tech within her friend group. No matter the issue, as long as it had to do with tech in some aspect, Hualing was the person to look for. Sadly, she was completely clueless in every other aspect of life, leaving her to be rather ignorant.
 Born into a wealthy family, Hualing didn't particularly care for her grades or academics in general, but ever since she was able to walk and express her thoughts, she has been addicted to all technological devices. At a tender age of four, she was introduced to gaming by her indolent brother, Huang Yong Rui; ever since, she cared about nothing else. Other than learning some skills dealing with tech, she didn't bother with any subjects at school. Regarding this, her parents were rather exasperated, as they already had a lazy son to deal with, they truly hoped to have a hardworking daughter. However, the heavens are unkind and gave them two slothlike entities who only knew how to laze about and play games. 
Sadly, they could never truly get mad at these two seemingly hopeless children, as they both were geniuses in some aspect. Their son, had a gift for business, making investments on what seems like a whim, yet earning millions after the projects were highly successful. He was already named the heir to the family's large luxury hotel chain at the age of 19.
Their daughter on the other hand was an abnormal genius at programming; even winning several national programming competitions and coming in third in a world wide competition at the age of 15. After learning that she couldn't access her games at school, Hualing even decided to learn some basic hacking skills which allowed her to hack into her schools mainframe and unblocking the games. However, she wasn't particularly skillful in that department and a couple days later she was discovered. Consequently she got suspended for a week leading her parents to become exasperated and helpless. 
 Not only that, because she was so addicted to games, she took it upon herself to learn several language, English, French, Korean, and Taiwanese. This led her to become fluent in English and Korean, while being able to read and write sufficiently in Korean and Taiwanese. How does this correlate with gaming? Well of course it's because this lazy gamer was bored with her current server and wanted a change in scenery, leading her to learn these languages in order to communicate with people in the other servers across the world. At only 17 years old, she has already become this unreasonable. Truly, this girl is a hopeless maniac when it comes to gaming.

A new game called Imperium has been released and as a bonafide gaming addict Huang Hualing decides to try it out. 

Huang Hualing is a lazy good for nothing who would've been disowned if she wasn't a genius in tech. As a sloth like entity Hualing spends her days lying about and playing games to satisfy her addiction.
