I start heading towards the library but stop as soon as I hear the most beautiful sound to have ever graced my ears....

As I walk closer to the old gym the sound gets louder. I can faintly hear the harsh pants of exhaustion and the skin hitting bags of leather. Every three hits or so there is a different sound, its like leather hitting leather.
I reached for the handle and gave it a small tug -so that I don't make a sound- but it's no use! It's locked. I look at the lock, analyzing it. Ha! A normal doorknob lock! How stupid can they get? I quickly pick the lock with my hair pin and squeeze through the open door hoping that the stranger inside didn't hear the squeak of the door. Anticipating that they didn't hear me fall flat on my... well my bottom for lack of better word.
I wince and look down to see that I have landed on some glass shards. Confused I look over at the door. The window is broken. Seriously? I picked that lock for nothing?! Standing up I look down at the pile of glass I had sat in. Thank god I wore jeans this morning instead of something short, I really wouldn't want my first visit to Jackson Evers hospital with glass sticking out of my butt.
"You know it's not nice to break into things that are locked. You could get arrested for breaking and entering." I jump and look for the person who said that.
Cautiously I look around, mostly watching the dark corners. "I would technically only be arrested for trespassing. You on the other hand, broke the glass and entered."
The person only laughed. "I wouldn't have broken the window if I knew how to pick a lock though." "How did you pick the lock anyway?"
"Curiosity killed the cat"
"Good thing I'm no cat then aye, how'd you do it"
"Do you really wanna know?"
"Yeah I do" 
I sigh, "okay but you can't tell this to anyone okay? It's our little secret"
The person chuckled, "yeah okay"
I grinned a toothy grin. "I'm a ninja."
Suddenly everything went quiet and he stepped into the light. Yes I said HE.
"Let me guess. You were attacking the floor?" He said with a small smile.
"No" He furrowed his eyebrows. "I was attacking the floor backwards. You know why?" His eyes held a look of amusement in them.
"Why?"
"IM FREAKING TALENTED" I jump up and run towards the treadmill.
"So your not gonna give me your name?" I feel his cool minty breath flutter against my neck as I reach for the 'POWER' button.
"Nope" I smirk turning on the treadmill and start jogging. His stepping falters a bit but he manages to jog in sync with me.
"Please princess?" He breaths ragged breathes against my neck. Turning of the treadmill I turn around and come face to face with him.
"Princess? Not very original but I'm okay with it. What about you? What should I call you?"
He chuckles, "my name is~"
"Shhhhh I'm giving you one!" I cut him off.
He pouts. "Stitch" he looks at me in confusion.
"Stitch?" 
"That's your name don't wear it out!" I smile cheekily. He gives me an amused smile.
"Why stitch?" I shrug and move away from his sweaty body. "I think it's because of your eyes."
"My eyes?"
"Yeah, your eyes are a deep blue with specks of a sort of icy blue. Kinda like stitch off Lilo and stitch." He gives me a small smile and winks.

I spent the rest of the lesson in that smelly old gym with stitch. We exchanged phone numbers and our names.
Nathaniel. That's his real name. Sighing I make my way to my next class, English. Ugh I hate it! Don't get me wrong it's a good subject and I am very good at it, it's just it's soooo boring! All we got at my old school were comprehension sheets, so you can imagine how many times I fell asleep in that class.

The rest of the day was quite boring, however I had Cory tailing me between classes and at breaks trying to apologize about what I had seen him do this morning. I just simply ignored him and went about my day pretending to listen in classes.
---------final Bell rings--------
I breathe a sigh of relief. I don't think I would've been able to last any longer sitting in between stitch and Cory. I mean, don't get me wrong Nathaniel is awesome. We only just met and he's already so protective of me. As soon as Cory came and sat next to me I was uncomfortable and Nathaniel (who I didn't even know had this class with me) noticed and sat me on his lap so that Cory would shut up and leave me alone. It didn't really do me or him much good though because as soon as the teacher told walked in I was off him and sat in between them both. We also ended up being in a group with him and the girl he bullied earlier, poor girl she was shaking in her flats.
And that brings us to the present moment, where we (more specifically the two boys) are arguing about whose house we are going to start the project.
"No! We'll go to my house!"
"No way! My house is so much better!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
I huff, I've had enough of this. School has been over for fifteen minutes and we haven't even left the classroom. "ENOUGH!" the sound of my voice rings through the empty classroom. "We will go to my house and there will be no more arguing over this matter" I look over to the girl. "Do you have a ride or do you want me to take you?" I ask gently.
"N-no I don't have a-a car" she lets out in a small voice. I give her a heart warming smile and take her hand, leading her through the hallways and out towards my bike.
"You don't mind going on this do you?" I turn around and internally curse. She looks terrified. "Look, you can go with one of the boys if you want? I would've bought my car to school today if I had known I'd be bringing someone home with me" I finish off scratching the back of my neck awkwardly.
"N-no its fine! Really, I'm okay! I would much rather ride on this death trap than with Cory!" I frown a little at this, she sounded as if she was terrified even at thought of being alone with Cory and I don't blame her, I wouldn't want to ride in the same car as my bully either. I climb on my bike.
"Its okay, but you would have to ride behind me is that alright?" she nods eagerly and cautiously climbs on my bike after me. I look over to the boys who were already at their cars. Cory seemed to be glaring at Nathaniel while Stitch just sat there in confusion.
"Come on you lot! I don't have all night!" and with that I drove off to the place that's next to the very person who hates me, the place the police had me moved to, 129 Crimson Creek Avenue, My Home.

     I was finally back at the house and boy, that walk back got me tired. I put my hair in a bun and ran me a bath to soothe my body from this long day. I still can't stop thinking about Bentley. 
      Once I bathed and my skin was wrinkled, I got out of the tub and wrapped my towel around me. I picked out my favorite Lilo &amp; Stitch pajamas to put on and headed for the kitchen to find something to eat.
     I figured I'd make me a salad since I didn't want anything too heavy right now. I sat on the couch and turned on My 600lb Life. My phone started vibrating in my pocket; it was Justin facetiming me, so I picked up.
"Hey, bitchhhh!"
"Hey, boo ! Wyd?"
"Girl, I am getting ready to have a stroke ! My mans gets off work at 10 and he told me to dress elegant because he wants to take me somewhere special tonight !!!", he practically screamed at the camera which made me laugh.
"Okay, so what's the problem?"
"Bitch, I'm ratchet as fuck, what the hell is elegant? Pleaseeeee, help me before I start crying!"
"Okay, do you have any dresses or anything of that nature?"
He held up this beautiful long, red gown with a slit up the side and the back revealed. 
"Bitchhhh, that is beautiful ! Try it on, let me see."
"Okay, let me go to the bathroom, I'll be right back."
He came back into the camera view with his face frowned up, "Bitch I look like a strong ass cherry about to burst in this damn dress!"
I damn near choked on my sandwich, "Omg no you dont!! But you do need to shave those legs, bitch ! Wear it, I promise he'll love it. Put on a little makeup, pair it with some nice heels, and boom, a bad bitch is born." 
"Okay, its the only dress I have anyway so its not like I had much of a choice. Ima go get ready and I'll call you later and tell you how it goes."

Since me and Chris made up, he became more protective and possessive over me, I'm not complaining tho but sometimes it gets overboard, I remember when a customer touched my hand accidentally he literally yelled at them until I kissed him to shut up. 

But he became more sweet than before, he still spoiling me, buying me lilo and stitch, some books and foods I like, I also living in his house when I became his fiancé. After telling it to his parents we went to my house to tell to my parents next, my mom was so happy but my dad threatened Chris not to hurt me again, but overall they still welcomed him to the family.

And now, today is the most special day of my life. Today is our wedding day, I will wear a white suit and Chris will wear black, obviously. My friends are here. 

"I'm happy for you." Sam said.

"Congratulations." Elijah stated.

"Aww who would think that you're the one who's going to be married first?" Ava asked, I let out a Chuckles on that.

"I also didn't think that I was the one who will the first to be marry, I thought you and Grayson will." I stated and she blushed.

"Well, about that he proposed to me, a week ago." She said blushing and I squeal in excitement.

"Wow really? That's great." I said.

"Sam, when are we going to be married?" Keegan asked while pouting.

"Soon baby, I will propose to you soon." Sam stated.

"Really?" Keegan asked.

"Of course babe." Sam answered then he kissed Keegan on his lips.

"Uhmm please don't be a PDA couple, respect for the singles out here." Lily said while pointing at herself and to Ashely.

We all laugh at that and my stylists came in and starts their work. They put slight make up on my face, I'm sure, Chris tell it to them.

After they finished my make up, my hair and my suit our organizer came in.

"You need to get on there." She said before leaving, then we all get out and went to where my wedding will be.

It's time, I'm here now, waiting for the love of my life to walk on the aisle, feeling nervous.

"Are you nervous?" Jaypee asked.

"Yeah, I'm feeling nervous at the same time happy." I replied.

"Congratulations, dre we all are happy for you." He stated.

"Thank you." I said and the organizer shush me.

"Don't be too loud, he's outside." She said then leave.
He's outside, my baby is out there. He's going to enter sooner or later, I'm excited to see how beautiful he is.

The door opened and my beautiful soon-to-be-husband stepped in, he looks so gorgeous and so beautiful. I stared at him until he reached my spot and I saw some tears escaped from his eyes and I wiped it.

"Don't cry, you look so beautiful, my love." I said and he just smiled at me and I smile back.

"Let's go so we can get this done and I can ravish you tonight." I said making him blush.

We both stepped towards the priest.

"We all gathered here to witnessed the undying love of this two human being." The priest stated.

The ceremony continues until we need to say our vows.

"At first, I didn't think that someone will love me, I didn't think someone will look at me lovingly, I didn't think that someone marry me, I didn't think that I will be marrying the one I kissed in the bar that night because of the dare." He said. "I love you, Chris Laurence. And I vow to love you for the rest of my life." He added then smile at me.

"I love you too. I'm happy that I can love you and I'm your first boyfriend and will be the last. I'm sorry for hurting you, for not listening to you, for making you cry, I didn't think that I will love again after my previous relationship years ago, but you changed it, you make me feel love again, and I'm not regretting the moment I kissed you at the bar, I vow to love you unconditionally for all of my life and I won't let you cry again. I love you, Lyrinx Constellion-Laurence." I stated lovingly.

"And now I pronounced you husband and husband." The priest said. "You may now kiss each other." He added.

I leaned in and kissed his lips, he wrap his arms around my neck the crowds are cheering happily as we kissed, then I pulled away.

"I love you so so much." I said.

"I love you too." He replied.

We both walk down on the aisle hand in hand, they're throwing flowers at us as we walk towards outside. Then, we saw the car waiting for us that we will ride to go to our reception. We traipsed towards the car and I opened the door for him then I get inside after him. I put the window down and we both waved at them.

"Good bye, see you at the reception!" I yelled and put the window up again.

"So? I am officially Laurence now." My husband said looking at his and my wedding rings. 

"Of course, my love." I said and I kissed him.

When we arrived at our reception the guest are already there, our organizer told us to wait behind this door until she calls us.

"Good evening everyone!" Our organizer yelled.

"Tonight is the greatest night for our friend, Chris and Lyrinx Laurence. So please welcome our newlyweds." She added and the door opened making the crowd see us then they all clap their hands. I saw my friends with their husband and wife, well much like Kaiden and William, whistling. We sat at our own seats.

"Why don't you close your eyes for a while?" I asked.

"What for?" He asked back.

"I have a surprise for you, can you do it for me?" I asked and he nodded then he close his eyes.

I motioned them to let it in and they moved it the crowd went silent not wanting to ruin my surprise to my husband.

"You can open your eyes now." I said then he do what he was told. 

He teared up again when he saw a cake that crafted as Lilo and Stitch, I personally tell them that they should do that cake.

"T-thank you so so much." He said while sobbing.

"Wait there's more, my love." I said and looked at the baby girl sitting on the stroller with a pacifier in her mouth. He walked towards our baby girl.

"How?" He asked.

"I told my secretary to find a child that's need to be adopted and she found her." I replied smiling at him.

"What is her name?" He asked.

"Her name is Sydney Constellion-Laurence." I answered. He picked her out from her stroller and he walked towards are seat and sat there and I followed him, he sat our child on his lap.

"Thank you so much." He said then kissed me on my lips.

"That's so cute, please let's give the Laurence family a around of applause." Our organizer said, and the crowd claps their hands.

"And now, please welcome, Chris's friends to give their speech." She said then my friends walk up to the stage.

"Good evening everyone, I'm Kaiden Meiresone, I'm the husband of Dwayne Meiresone, he's over there, I love you babe." He said then Dwayne blushes while he's children teasing him. "Anyways, tonight isn't my night, but my friend over there." He pointed at me. "Congratulations dre for finding the love of your life, I still remember how you shout when you catch the garter and you literally also catch the flower that my sweetheart threw. Congratulations to the both of you, I wish you both happiness and good health." He added then gives the mike to William.

"Good evening, I'm William Riles and I'm the husband of my lovely wife over there, she's Haisley Riles, I love you. I want to congratulate my mate there, for finding his true love, I wish you both success in life and always take care of yourselves and keep safe on having sex." He said and I laugh but Lyrinx beside me blushed. 

"I'm Jaypee Widley and I'm handsome, Lyrinx thank you for changing our friend's mind, we all already know that he will be so madly inlove with you when we first saw how he stared at you. Our friend over there beside might be a narrow minded but he's gonna love you for the rest of your life." He said, I glared at them.

"I'm Sean Carter and I'm so charismatic. Lyrinx we all thanking you for mending our friend's broken soul. Stay inlove for the rest of your life." He said.

"I'm Kyle Thopmsone and I'm sexy, Congratulations to the both of you and to your new family and Chris grow up."

I had been talking with my dad,mom,and my sister just catching up for the past few hours and then I decided to go take another shower. "Mami,puedo bañarme aqui?" I asked. "Claro que si hija. This is your house to." My mom said. "Ok I'll be out in like 10 minutes." I said "Sure,more liek 10 hours." My sister said. I just rolled my eyes and made my way upstairs to my childhood bedroom and grabbed my outfit out of my backpack and grabbed my straightener and curling iron. Before I went into the bathroom I yelled, "Please put on something presentable!!!!" "No!!! I'm staying in my comfy clothes!" My sister yelled. "Mami,papi! Dile que se ponga algo decente porfa!" I whined. 

Time skip 40 minutes.

I had finished getting ready and I came down stairs wearing a black long sleeve crop top with a rose on the right hand side,black ripped jeans,a black choker with a rose charm on it,my rings,my bracelets,black rose shaped earrings (one with a chain going from the cuff piercingto my second peircing,and a small black pearl for my tragus piercing),and black boots with rose print on them.



I had curled the end of my hair again like I did this morning and I did my makeup with my usual wings and some pink eyeshadow,mascara and my red Selena lip gloss.



"Caramba nena! You think I'm gonna let other people see you dressed like that?!" My mom exclaimed. "Like what?" I asked. "Enseñando tu estomago!" She said. "Que indecente nos han salido esta nena!" My mom told my dad. "Hija ponte otra camisa para tapar tu pansa." My dad said. "Ok esta bien." I said. I knew this would happen so I packed a black tank top. 

I came back down stairs and it was now 6:50. I was starting to get really nervously excited. I checked out my family's attire and my mom was wearing a plain black tshirt and some blue jeggings (she is kinda on the um wider side so you know that's why she wears jeggings. I mean she ain't hippo fat either but,idk) my sister was wearing a white Lilo & Stitch tshirt with black ripped jeans and some rings and bracelets and she did some simple makeup. And she had her hair in a ponytail with her curtain bangs.




My dad was wearing a simple navy blue tshirt with a collar on it with some black cargo pants and his black work boots.

"You guys look good to be seen with in front of my friends." I said approvingly. "Always doing everything to please your freinds." My mom said shaking her head. She never believed in friendship don't ask me why she just doesn't. I just ignored her and at that moment I got a text from Erick.

    Jess and Cassidy are rubbing sunscreens, they look like the model in the advertisement of coconut water. Jess was from Hawaii. She lived by the sea in her childhood, if the cartoon Stitch does exist in the real world, Jess will be the sister of Lilo, Nani. Her beauty is unique, and while she is running by the coast in that orange swimsuit, Ellie thinks she looks exactly like the character in the Baywatch movie.

My dad took mom and Arriana home so they could rest and get changed. He brings me fresh clothes while I stay with Zayne's parents to be here when he wakes up. It's almost three in the morning when he starts stirring.
The three of us jump up as his eyes flutter open, his mom races to his side, "Momma?" his voice is raspy and dry.
"Oh my baby," she starts crying as she runs her hand over his head, "I thought I lost you."
Tears well up in all of our eyes, even his. His parents hold his hands tightly and throw all the love they have at him. Slowly I step forward. He sees me and his face becomes one of despair.
"Josh, I..." he shakes his head lightly as I come to his bedside.
I look at him for a second, taking in that he's alive, and suddenly start crying. I reach over and hug him tightly, not caring about the rail in my stomach.
"I thought you were dead, I was so scared." I whisper as I cry and hold his hospital gown in my fists. He returns my hug.
"I'm so sorry Josh, I'm so sorry. I didn't know what to do," he starts crying too, "Everything was happening so fast and I got scared and I thought it was all my fault. When you didn't answer I thought something had happened and you were ignoring me."
I pull him tighter into my hug, "Don't ever think that! I would never ignore you if I knew you needed me, I was coming to cheer you up. I had no idea about your apartment, I found you lying there and I didn't know what to do. I was so scared you were going to die right on that floor."
We hold each other until the doctors come for his evaluation. I get sent home to sleep, even though I know I can't.
Come morning, I'm still awake and I go to school just so I don't sit at home worried. The school has been made aware of what's happened and that Zayne's evaluation makes it clear he needs to be under constant watch for close to three weeks. The police link with the school to try and find the culprit of the attacks, thinking it's connected to the bullying at school. The school throws together an assembly to alert the student body to what has happened and the consequences.
Mrs. Jennings explains the police presence and assures the school that if anyone is tied to these incidents, there will be very severe punishments. She then invites me up to talk about Zayne's condition and the situation, as his parents wanted to be at the hospital with him.
I step up to the microphone and stare at the crowd. All the anger and fear bubbles inside of me, "At four forty five last night, I discovered Zayne Daveen lying in a pool of his own blood in the ruins of his apartment. Yesterday morning, I came to school to find him beaten mercilessly, all because he doesn't fit the cookie cutter mold. Because of the ignorance and cruelty many people, many in this very room, inflicted on him daily he attempted to take his own life. As he lay their dying, what would have been his final thought, weren't that he was finally giving into the hatred that was spewed at him, it wasn't the hope that the pain would end... It was disgust in himself, thinking he brought this on his family and friends by being himself. Those of you who brought him to this, who do think he brought this on himself, I hope you know how disgusted so many of us are with you. Not me, nor his family or mine would change Zayne for anything. We would rather happily stand by him and face the cruelty you force on us than tell him to change and surrender to you. You have accomplished nothing but bringing attention to what you have done, you've accomplished nothing but hurting a family that did nothing to you. I can speak for those in that waiting room that night, I can tell you how long we cried, afraid we would never see him again. I can tell you the fear we faced until near dawn, waiting to see if he would wake up. I can tell you, that in the end, you accomplished nothing. Zayne is now recovering, and with the hell you're bringing down on yourselves, and the number of people standing with him, you have no chance of beating him. Never again will any of you lay a finger on him, never again will any of you force your harsh words on him, because now," I make eye contact with Conrad, "Now he has the resources to finally tear you down and become stronger that you will ever hope to be."
I leave the stage and the auditorium to go sit in the office. Mrs. Jennings comes over and puts a hand on my shoulder, offering to call my mom to take me to the hospital. I take the offer graciously as I cool down.
I get there while Zayne is sleeping, so I pull one of the room chairs by his bed and wait. In that spot is where I stay until his birthday.
That day I leave when he sleeps after breakfast to go to the car. I pull out the box that was left there since finding him. Tonight he goes to the psych ward for his two weeks. There will be visitation but it won't be the same as getting to stay by his side during this process.
I bring the box to his room, surprising him when he wakes up. By that time Arriana has joined me with her gift. I see a tired, weak smile spread across his face, but it is a real one. He opens her present and smiles at the iTunes gift cards, books, and candy. He gives her a hug before turning to my box.
"Is it sex toys? Ooh the handcuffs?" he smiles and claps, making us all laugh as he opens the box and stares in amazement.
He pulls out a framed copy of my mom's chocolate chip cookie recipe, a special gay pride t-shirt that reads Everything is Pride... And Equality Matters! and it's signed by the band that released the shirts. He keeps pulling things out, like the item I bought while he wasn't looking at Hot Topic. I watch his eyes fill with tears as he looks at the pack of matching rings on chains, the packaging talks about how wearers pledge to be allies to the LGBT+ community but to also wait to get married until federal and state laws allow marriage equality for all. He pulls me into a deep kiss before digging deeper into the box, pulling out sheet music for violin for some of his favorite songs, as well as a little plushy like the one Lilo had in Lilo and Stitch, I even got him a Stitch throw blanket. I pull out the last present, my old iPod, loaded with all of his favorite songs. I wrap him in the blanket and skip to the last song.
He holds me closer as we listen to Calum Scott's "No Matter What". I tell him that we will be here no matter what for him and he cries.
His parents join us and he shows them his presents. Together we wait for the doctors to come take him to his room for the next two weeks.
His mom holds the stuff they won't let him take as they put him in a wheelchair and roll him away. I hold his hand down the hall until it's time to let go, and even then I want to just hold him close.
I watch him disappear in the elevator, still wrapped in the blanket, holding the shirt. His parents meet me in the hall.
"Things are going to get better now, hopefully this will help him," his dad puts his hand on his shoulder, "He'll be home before we know it. Thank you for saving our boy Josh, and thank you for doing so much for him."
I smile as we all go to get Arriana and leave for the night. Arriana and I are tasked with getting Zayne his missed schoolwork and then coming back here for visiting hours so we need to be asleep early.
It's hard not being able to text him or call him to ask if he's ok and tell him I love him. Most nights I toss and turn waiting for the time to pass. The only thing that helps me is hearing that final bell and knowing that that means I'm going to see Zayne.
Arriana often joins me, even my mom and dad do. They keep asking how he's doing and sometimes decide they'd rather see for themselves and talk to him personally to make sure he's ok. Mom especially is having a hard time after seeing Zayne and me like that.
The three weeks do fly by and before we know it Zayne is cleared to come home. His cuts are still healing and will require follow up attention, but other than that we finally get to take him home.
I go with everyone to pick him up, even Tempe and Caira join us to greet him at his discharge. We all bring him home and work to get him settled at home again.
The apartment has been cleaned and the front of the apartment repainted. It almost looks normal again.
At school, no one confesses, but word of Zayne's recovery travels fast and it's obvious who reacts unhappily to that news. People are still uncomfortable with Zayne and me together, but now no one says anything or gives looks. No one whispers about him while he's still home recovering, no one looks at me funny.
You see some people are disappointed with how things turned out and honestly, I love it, seeing the faces of those to blame for this situation and seeing them acknowledge to themselves that they've lost feels amazing.
They did lose.
For once, Zayne does win.
