-A dungeon's rating typically have to do with the age of the dungeon, however there are exceptions. For instance if a dungeon was the typical depth of a 'D Rank Dungeon' but has 'B Ranked Monsters' then it would be averaged to a 'High C Ranked Dungeon'. This can also works the other way around; if a dungeon has 'D Ranked Monsters' and the typical depth of a  'B Ranked Dungeon' then it would be a 'Lesser C Rank Dungeon'.

Isa pang kumukuha ng test ang nagtaas ng kamay.
"Mahirap ba talagang patayin ang mga halimaw?"
"Hindi, depende ito sa rank na iyong kinakalaban. kung mataas ang rank mo sa monster na kaharap mo ay madali mo itong matatalo. nakadepende ito lahat sa rank kaya naman importante na matukoy ang inyong rank upang mas mataas na tsansa niyo na mabuhay"
"Sa pagbagsak ng sangkatauhan, kailangan natin ng maraming tao hangga't maaari upang makalaban tayo kung sakaling buong puwersang umatake ang mga halimaw sa kanilang pagsalakay!"

Nang marinig ni Ye Song ang sagot ng instructor sa tinanong ng isang kasama niya ay kumunot ang kanyang noo at tinaas ang kanyang kamay.

Sa puntong ito ay nagtaas ng kilay ang instructor nang marinig niya ang sinasabi ni Ye Song. napansin ito ni Ye Song ngunit pinagpatuloy pa rin niya ang kanyang pagsasalita.

Nagulat ang lahat nang marinig nila ang sinabi ni Ye Song sa instructor.

Jin took a deep breath as he looked at the Ruby red card on the screen. He clicked and used his free summon. Brighter light than before appeared on the card, forcing Jin to close his eyes as he looked away.

Looking back at the card, Jin jumped in joy. It was a golden card, making the person B rank.

C Rank is blue.
B Rank is gold.
A Rank is purple.
S Rank is Ruby.

Jin nodded as he tapped the card. A screen appeared in front of him, showing him the items he needs to evolve him.

'10 kunai... can I have others to make these?' Jin asked

*yes, host. But if the quality doesn't meet the requirements, it will be half or not acceptable.* The system said

Jin nodded as he walked up to a cup close to his bed. He picked it up and turned it around before speaking.

"old man." He said coldly as the Bulter entered 

"yes, young master." The butler asked 

"who gave me this glass yesterday?" Jin asked as he held up the cup.

"it was a maid? is something wrong?" He asked

"lock them up. If they try to run, break their legs." Jin said coldly. The Butler froze for a second before doing as Jin asked

Jin then left his room and began to walk around the castle. The butler wasn't normal. He was a rank c warrior, so Jin knew he was sensing his every moment.

He calmly walked around the castle before The butler appeared in from of him. he had a deep frown as he looked at Jin in confusion.

"they seemed to have killed themselves," he said with a deep frown.

"I thought as much, let's go to the city craft man, also spread the news that tomorrow I will be looking for some to join my Elite warrior. They will get paid 5 gold coins a month once they join." Jin said as the butler had someone spread the news.

"Also, I want to kill a monster that's low, med, and high E Rank," Jin said as the butler arranged everything.

By the time the butler appeared by Jin, Jin was already outside the castle and making his way around the city.

Everyone Jin walked past quickly bowed, not daring to look Jin in the eyes. Jin ignored them, as his arms were behind his back. Soon Jin arrived in front of a building.

"what brings the young prince to my little craft shop." a large man asked upon seeing Jin.

"I came to ask you to make something for me. are you up to it?" Jin asked calmly

"anything for the young master." the man said as he whipped the sweat off his face.

"give me a paper. I want you to have this item done perfectly." Jin said calmly. 

The man quickly got a pape and pan and handed it to Jin. Jin calmly took it and began to draw a kunai to the best of his abilities.

After a few seconds, he handed the drawing back to the man. Jin then went to explain how big it should be and a few other things before leaving.

2: Find out who planned for Jin's death. (rewards, 1 common summon)

5: have 5 Summons. (reward, one perfect heal card)* The system suddenly spoke, which made Jin freeze for a second.

"are the monsters are?" Jin asked

"yes, my lord," The Butler replied, not asking anything about why Jim would want to kill them.

Jin soon arrived back at the castle, he then went to the deepest part of it, and there he saw a few beasts tried up.

There was a dog with large horns, a 3 headed bird, and many were weird-looking monsters. 

"Young lord, we got monsters of all kinds. Low, mid, and even high. Pick as many as you want." a man in purple armor said with a smile.

"let me kill the low rank, them the mid, and high," Jin said as the man in armor gave him a sword.

This man was the guard captain. The 2nd strongest person in this city, he was also Jin's personal teacher. But Jin would just give him money so he could leave him alone.

Jin took a deep breath as he walked towards the monster. It was a goblin. Goblins are only as strong humans. Some with high strength has the strength of high E  rank.

But the one before Jin was a child, that was Low E Rank. Jin went on to stab the heart of the goblin.

He didn't see these monsters as human or anything that should be cared for.

Monster has been added to the training grown. The host can now challenge the monster as human as he wishes.* The system said as Jim went on to look at the next monster.

Jin went on to kill all 3 E Ranks before nodding and leaving the underground room.

'system, have item enter the training ground. have him pick whatever monster he wants to face... what happens if he dies?' Jin asked as he returned to his room

*if a monster dies within, nothing will happen. Their level will just drop. but in the outside works, they would be lost.* the system said as Jin nodded.

'send the marine guy in as well.' Jin said

Within the training ground. The 5-year-old Itachi, he looked around and saw a 7 year old kid that was also looking around.

*pick the monster grade and the amount you wish to face.* The system said as a screen appeared before them.

Itachi and other kid looked at this screen before picking the weakest monster and 2 of them.

As soon as they did that, 2 goblins appeared in front of them, looking at the two with bloodshot eyes.

Itachi eyes narrowed as he walked towards them. The goblin jumped towards him. But itachi was skilled with hand to hand combat, going up again monsters that only had the will to kill. Itachi quickly dropped them had killed them.

"they are weak, bring a med monster," Itachi said calmly. He didn't even level up.

There was 30 level for E Rank.
 Level 1 to 10 is low E rank, 11 to 20 is med E Rank. 21 to 30 is high E rank.

Right now, Itachi was just level 1 E Rank, but he was Itachi, so of course, normal monsters were nothing to him.

Foreword:
Before proceeding any further, I take this time to record the monsters I have encountered thus far. Just like how I have been writing this journal, I also wrote a few books. When I read Lunamaya's Diaries and Notes it urged me to write for my own. Unfortunately Magic was beyond me and I have decided to focus on my physical strength first before I can proceed to learning Alchemy so I can't continue Lunamaya's works, instead I have decided to write about the monster eco-system and all other specifics about them.

There seems to be no concept of treasure chests in this world of RESMERE, instead they have monsters which have abundant treasures, the higher the rank of the MIMIC, the rare the items will be.
Note: ORIGIN is a terminology that is equivalent to race/species in my previous world.
*ELEMENTAL - means any elements (e.g. STILL FIRE MIMIC), where the MIMIC can cast fire magic and other fire perks, also the items received after their defeat will have the same elements with it.
*STATUS AILMENTS - means any elements (e.g. STILL PARALYTIC MIMIC), where the MIMIC can induce paralysis and the items received after their defeat will have the same status ailments with it.


The combination of the following title ranks are the names of the monster which compose the ranks of the BEAST, for example the monster known as GREYWOLF: TEEN WOLF is a Monster Threat Rank F and so on. The titles may be a prefix or a suffix to their ORIGIN name.


Another thing to note is that monsters have certain uniqueness in them despite being a mob, the Monster Crystal they possess differ by birth something like an elemental affinity. Gender is also a great factor for their uniqueness.

A lone male is sent to another world. 

Was he summoned as a hero or a villain he did not know. 

After all he was alone in a white sandy luxurious beach, he does not possess any cheat abilities, or powerful equipment. He has nothing but his white t-shirt, black pants, back shoes and a ship...

How will his journey shape this world, read through his Journals to find out.

After Gin realized that he had been resurrected in another world, he was determined to live in the world and needed to find ways to survive in a world that he himself did not know what would be the next challenge.

The man who had saved Gin had invited him to come to his house. He was curious about this world, going to the man's house in dare without recognizing the man's background.Gin and the man ran through the thick forest to get to the man's house.

As it was about to arrive, Gin saw a very large and crowded city and there was also a wide variety of trading places.

The man said "this is the vindora country, the fifth largest country in the area." This country is led by a King named Lord Evan, but this king is an evil and loves to oppress his subordinates.

Upon arrival in the country of Vindora, Gin sees a huge gallant gate guarded by the government official. Gin goes through the gate but he is afraid that he will be arrested as he is not from this world.

Gin was able to pass the officer safely. After arriving at the man's house, he asked Gin to come to his house and get acquainted with his family.

The man is named Aslan, he is a resident of the country and lives not as lively as other residents. That's why Aslan often hunts the monster to sell it at a trading place in the city center of this country.

Aslan introduced Gin with his wife and three childrens. After Gin had been in the house, Aslan asked Gin "you are not from this world right?". Gin was surprised and replied "how do you know I'm from another world. "Aslan said with the monster that came somewhere after 1000 years, it is not impossible for other creatures to come here too."That what I believe" say Aslan.

Since the first time I see you, you look like a lost person and the clothes you wear are also strange.

That evening, Aslan took Gin to the city center to buy new clothes and weapons to kill the monster. Aslan said "this shirt is not comfortable because it's cheap but it's for you to be not so weird".

 When to go through the gate Aslan closes Gin's body with cloth so that the guards who guarded the gate did not hold Gin because of his suspicious clothes.

When buying a weapon, the person who sold the weapon says to Gin.He can only use E class weapon only because Gin is still class E and can not use higher-grade weapons. Aslan explains to Gin if he wants to use a higher-grade weapon he needs to kill a lot of monsters which is high class in order to improve the skill of using high grade weapons.

Aslan also told Gin, though he could use high-grade weapons, he had to buy a weapon at a very expensive price. In addition, high-class monster was hard to kill.Even if the mistake of step could kill lives because that's not so many people who dare to hunt for highest class monster. 

The world's weapons are divided into several classes, the lowest grade is class E,then class D, class C, class B, class A and class S. But other items in the world like clothes class C and above do not need the user to have the same class however the price is very high and only used by the nobles but for class A and S it is not in Vindora because it is very difficult to find because class A and S items are legendary items...maybe the country larger than Vindora exists that items

Each person who is a hunter or a warrior and monster will be divided into several classes such as E, D, C, B, A and S and each class will be divided into three categories... bottom, middle and top.It was the same as weapons and other things.

Gin asked how to get money in this world. Aslan said "You must kill the monster and sell like wool, leather or horn to traders." This is because the item can be used as a weapon or other item. If it sells goods from high class monster then the money will be able to get more but we need to be clever to not be cheated by the merchants.

In addition, if we can kill the monster we can increase the strength, skill of the weapon and can increase the life. The higher the monster class the faster we can improve the skill class but if we're make mistake can kill ourself.

After that, Gin and Aslan leave out of Vindora country to hunt a monster ...

As what is stated, the boys' name was Adam Tandi, and of 15 years old. He started checking his profile and look for what his attributes are. 

' So my unique trait is death and thats what cause my death attribute and skill. I dont have occupation on the meantime as that was only when I got to E rank, same with totem and title. ' 

' and ....hmmm. My attributes, as usual, I have the three main attributes, vitality, strength and intelligence, with death as my unique attribute. And it was all at 10 points, so I guess Im an average then. '

After being a hunter, an average person usually have 10 points in all of his attributes, while in some case, a person can even reach 15 in his attributes but thats only for those with great potential and geniuses. 

And Adam having 10 in his attributes means he was an average one. 

As he look at his skill again, he got shock at what he saw! 

He got an additional skill! 

He suddenly thought why he had gain this skill which result to him having two skills when he was still at F rank. Normally, an F rank hunter can have only one skill, but under different circumstances, a person can have one more skill. 

As he was thinking where he got this skill, he suddenly thought of the skill book that drop from the monster that died before he pass out. 

' If I remember it correctly, a stone also drop from the dead monster, that could be a monster core, since I absorbed the skill book then that means that I also absorbed the monster core! .... Wait... It cant be!... Ughh..'

Monster core can be used to increase the attributes of a person, especially the three main attributes. But to increase the unique attributes, one need to find a monster of same attribute as the person. 

For example, a fire-based attribute needs a monster core of a fire-based monster. 

Additionally, monster core of higher level monster cant increase the attributes of the lower level hunter, same with lower level monster core. Only monster core of same level can increase the attributes of the same level hunter. This restriction do not applied to the unique attributes.

Specifically, a E rank monster core cant be used to increase the attributes of an F rank hunter, and so on. 

Adam having absorbed the theorized E rank monster core was a considered a waste of core. He could have sold this core for a highe price, and even higher to those E rank hunter. 

As he look at his system again, he notice that he was now at sub-mid rank of F rank, and gain an additional 5 attribute points which are still not allocated. Upon inspection, he got shocked at what he realized! 

" The experience needed to level up to sub-mid rank was 100, and I level up by just killing that one monster.... Meaning.. It..  It was a D rank monster! " 

' So, Absolute Defense is a D rank potential skill! '

Glass skyscrapers towered over the paved veins of Vivere city. Old brick buildings and patches of greenery blended with the surrounding steel. Like a blood cell, their car flowed through these city veins along with the surrounding traffic. As they rose upward on a highway ramp, Cor. E. caught a glimpse of a wall. It stood about thirty feet, or maybe more, encompassing and cutting off a section of the city. Behind this barrier, other skyscrapers rose as part of the walled district, called Ame, an old remnant of the Undead Crisis where people had crowded together to live safely. Now, this former sanctuary became a corpse eater free zone, with any corpse eater that dared enter getting detained and tossed out or any that dared to fly over immediately shot down. Cor. E. pulled out his phone, searching for a certain song. When they reached the peak of the highway ramp, he played the song, fixing his stare upon the wall. Aevon frowned. Vivian glanced back at Cor. E. seemingly interested in that song.

"What language is that? What's it saying?"

"Cor. E. turn it off."

"Tch." He clicked his tongue, eventually turning it off. "Can't be helped. Every time I see that wall."

Aevon cut off Cor. E. and answered. "It's Ryuujin, the language from that country Asahi Ryuu in the East. You've studied your geography?"

"Oh. Uh hum." Vivian nodded. "It's where magical girl…"

She started talking about her favorite show. Cor. E. continued the song, humming it to himself until the wall went out of view, half listening to Vivian and Aevon's conversation. The city sped by as they drove along with the rest of the traffic.

Upon an azure flag, emerald green leaves faded to winter white on the tree standing its center. White stars fell like comets leaving ruby red streaks on the tree's silver trunk. Some stars landed upon the black roots, entangling them. This flag of their country Azure flowed with the wind, flapping above a bricked building, occasionally ringing against its flag post. Surrounding the building's entrance were scenic trees and small zinnia flowers along with a plaque showing the Vivere city symbol, a red rose, and its police crest along with the words, Vivere City Police USCB, below. They arrived at the police station, parking amongst the other cars. Aevon led Vivian through the building while Cor. E. followed.

People noisily and busily rushed about concentrating on their daily tasks while they arrived to where Vivian's parents waited in worriment. As soon as Vivian saw her parents, she rushed towards them and started wailing, her cries piercing, tears falling down. Her mother also burst into tears and embraced her, consoling her with gentle whispered words. Her father gave a bear-hug to both. The little girl's shrieks cutting through the noise leading to awkward glances while Aevon and Cor. E. watched from afar equally just as uncomfortable.

"So much for the distraction in the car. As soon as she sees her parents, the whole reality of today's events come crashing down. Now she's crying. I prefer the awkward silence we had at the beginning of the car ride instead of this bawling."

"Cor. E. shut up, heartless monster. Why wouldn't she cry?" He chided his partner.

"Hey can you get her to shut up?" He patted on Aevon's shoulder and pointed.

Aevon glared as a response. Before he uttered any words, Cor. E. decidedly strode over to Vivian yanking on her shoulder. 

"Cor. E." Aevon took a step forward, worried about what Cor. E. was planning to do.

"Hey. Here." He took out a lollipop from his coat pocket and gave it to her. She stopped crying and instead frowned at it. Another blue eye stared at her. "It's blue raspberry."

Aevon paused then sighed. Vivian's parents gave Cor. E. a questioning look. "Who?" Her mother asked.

Vivian glanced at her parents. "He saved me from the monster mommy. He's called Corey."

"Monster?" The mother shot a demanding stare at Aevon who came over, pushing aside Cor. E.

"Mrs. Zmyle your daughter had been kidnapped by not just one suspect, but he had an undead scavenger as a partner."

Mrs. Zmyle narrowed her eyes. "What?"

Vivian faced down then tugged at her mother's shirt. "Mommy. Corey's got wings like an undead scavenger. He's like a superhero." She flashed an admired look at Cor. E. while her mother bestowed him a glower.

She pulled Vivian closer to them then she marched over to Cor. E. While she yanked away a bit of his coat, behind with her father Vivian unwrapped the lollipop, stuffing it into her mouth. As soon as Mrs. Zmyle caught a glimpse of his wings, a disgusted look flashed on her face. She quickly recoiled away while he readjusted his coat.

"You got one of those monsters working in the police!"

Aevon revealed an uncomfortable gaze. "Um Mrs. Zmyle this is outside Ame district and undead scavengers are allowed to work in this department as officers."

"Ugh! Let's get out of here Chris. Vivian don't eat that." She wrenched out the lollipop, handing it to her husband Chris Zmyle, motioning to him to dump it into the trashcan nearby. Vivian complained.

The mother shot daggers at Cor. E. "Disgusting monster!" Then she glanced back at her husband. "We shouldn't have left Ame district."

"But mommy Corey is a good monster. He saved me." As her mother dragged her away, she again tugged on her mother's shirt. Before Chris Zmyle spoke a word, Vivian broke out of her mother's grasp and rushed over to Cor. E. "No Corey is good!"

"Vivian come here. Get away from that monster."

"No!"

"Vivian!"

Vivian shook his coat sleeve. "No! Corey, tell mommy you're a good monster not a bad monster. Tell her you don't eat people."

As Vivian turned to face him, she leapt away terrified. Cerulean eyes changed glowing like blood red rubies, fangs grew in his smile, and his nails transformed into claws.

"I'm a monster. What does good or bad even mean?"

Her mother swooped over, snatching her away from Cor. E.'s side. "Let's go Vivian." Vivian peeked back as Cor. E. returned to normal and waved goodbye. She led her daughter by hand.

"Throw that away, why are you still holding that?" Her mother chided her father, as he still held onto the lollipop foolishly. 

Just as he before he tossed it, Vivian snatched it. Her father ignored what happened while following his wife and daughter. "He's still a good monster." She muttered. She waved back before they left their sights.

Aevon sighed. "Why didn't you just say you're good?"

"A corpse eater is still a corpse eater." Aevon sighed again at the answer he received.
"Still what's up with that mother? So hostile."

"Who knows, she is from the walled district, maybe something happened with a corpse eater in the past. Maybe she hates what corpse eaters had ate. Maybe she hates those that prey on humans still. Maybe 'cuz they kidnapped her daughter. Don't know." He shrugged.

"But the kidnapper was a human."

"Doesn't matter to me."

"Detective Zhang should have brought him in. He had been in the other car. Where did Zhang go?" Aevon glanced around.

"Probably in the interrogation room."

Right as he decided to head there, a voice called out.

"Detective Starling let Detective Zhang handle the rest. I got a new assignment for you." Cor. E. and Aevon gazed in the voice's direction.

"Captain Evergreen." They voiced in unison while Aevon smiled and nodded. Cor. E. stared at the other person standing next to their captain. "Who's this? Someone new." He added.

Standing firm and tall like a tree, a man with green spectacles like its leaves, brown hair like its tree trunk, and hazel eyes added to a smooth and youthful face, next to him another man stood shorter with golden hair and pewter eyes also with youthful vigor. Cor. E. concentrated on the blond haired youth, moving closer, inspecting him. He guessed this youth's age, estimating around his twenties while the other, their captain's looks were lies. He looked young, but he was ten years senior Aevon. This deception led to people many infatuated over the captain, especially a certain corpse eater he knew. She didn't care about his age though or the fact that those glasses were fake when she asked more about him.

"How old?"

"Just a little younger than you. Now you're too close." The captain moved him aside. "This is Cadet Quintus Aster. Quintus this is Detective Aevon Starling and his partner Coree Walker."

"Woah. Woah. Wait up there. Who's Coree Walker? My name is Corpse Eater. Cor. E. is short for Corpse Eater and it is spelled C-o-r. E." Cor. E. waved his hands then pulled out an I.D. card showing his registered name.

"I don't care what your legally registered name is. I am not going to call you that here especially in front of others. It's crude and unprofessional and it doesn't paint an optimistic picture if I have a detective named Corpse Eater, so shut your mouth Coree Walker. We've already had a conversation where we changed Corey to Coree cause of your whining. Now have a good day. Starling you're in charge of the new recruit, show him how to get things done around here." Captain Evergreen strode away.

"Wha-what? I still have no idea where you've got the Walker part of that name." Cor. E. shouted out, waving a fist.

Aevon thought of a certain show while Quintus awkwardly watched. Cor. E. then turned back, facing Quintus. Aevon glanced over the new guy. He nodded and smiled, politely saying, "Hello." 

Quintus returned by flashing a smile. "Hello Detectives Starling and Wa-"

"It's supposed to be Eater. Tch. Just call me Cor. E."

Quintus frowned, replying, "Um Cor. E."

"Hmm. Whatever. I'll be at the desk." Cor. E. shrugged then walked away. Quintus observed for a while then shot a glance at Aevon. Aevon returned his stare.

"So Quintus have you gotten to know the place, you know where to go?"

Quintus nodded. "Captain Evergreen gave me a tour around. He said to borrow Cor. E.'s desk for now, mentioning how he's a part timer and doesn't use his desk much. Then he um, started talking about his desk, and how neat it is, and that a clean desk equals a distraction free mind so no doodads and thingumajigs, and how papers should be filed correctly."

Fearing that Quintus would sum up the rest of the captain's words, Aevon motioned for Quintus to stop. "Um never mind the captain's digression. How about we go over to our desks and get you situated?"

He didn't need a whole report on the captain's talk. He sighed. He heard the captain's speech about desks before especially since his own desk couldn't help but be one of those messy ones. He wondered if the captain was such a neat freak because of his job or was that part of his personality either way he was quite vociferous. They paced over to their workstations. Cor. E. searched through the drawers of his desk. On top of his desk stood a computer and really only the computer; he didn't have anything inside the drawers either, Cor. E. came up with a lollipop, or at least anything of real importance.

After glancing at the candy, Cor. E. replied. "Hmm. Brown. Chocolate flavor. No thanks. Here as a welcome present." He handed it to Quintus.

Quintus examined the welcome gift he held. A warm, chocolate brown eye gazed at him. An apple green bordered the lovely pink of a small forked ribbon which tied the lollipop's clear wrapper. Cursive golden yellow outlined by purple letters spelled out, Ei Candi, with its two dots as dark blue eyes with cyan eyelashes. The crimson stick resembled either blood or the eye muscle.

"Um thanks."
 
As Aevon sat, he asked, "So what kind of experience do you have and out of all the places why chose the corpse eater, I mean, Undead Scavenger Criminal Branch here?"

Quintus returned the lollipop's gaze as he embarrassingly answered, "Um truthfully I just finished getting out of training and wanted to work in Ame district's criminal branch but got transferred here. I have no real experience especially concerning undead scavengers." He peeked at Cor. E. as he spoke those last words.

Cor. E. leaned back in his chair. "Why are you being so formal Quintus? You can call us corpse eaters. Undead scavengers is too fanciful anyways. Actually people during the Crisis used to call us that and a lot of other names especially zo-"

"So Quintus are you from Ame district?" Aevon interrupted.

Quintus frowned, wondering what word Cor. E. was going to say. "No I'm from the outskirts of Ame district." He eventually answered.

"Oh. There's not really any corpse eaters in that suburban area huh. No wonder you don't seem to use to corpse eaters. I hope you don't feel too disturbed by them. They can be…something. Um. Let's just say they're quite rotten in personality."

"Rotten. Huh. Like spoiled rotten or the BL rotten type 'cuz I'm neither. Oh but I like rotten. Hah rotten tastes good." Cor. E. dug into his pockets and quickly flipped through the drawers. "Oh no, I ran out of Ei Candi. I gotta restock later."

"How did we get to those kinds of rotten and rotten food Cor. E. then your candy? I'm not talking about any of those. I'm talking about your personality is rotten you heartless son of bitch."

Cor. E. paused. "Oh so that's what you meant." He smirked.

"You do this on purpose don't you."

"Yeah. I'm hungry now got any Ei Candi in your desk."

"No."

"Hmm. Then I'll go ask the others." Cor. E. left his seat.

Quintus watched the whole conversation, at one point worried that Cor. E. would get angry, yet that insult flew past and he totally ignored it. He watched Cor. E. approaching the others in the station.

"So that's how Cor. E. is. Hope you don't feel uncomfortable around him. In terms of other corpse eaters at least he won't eat you so that's good. But like the other corpse eaters they're really into the gross and gory stuff and don't care about anything sacred, taboo, or just plain rude and are into dark humor so feel free to give Cor. E. a punch if he offends you. With Cor. E. he'll just probably laugh it off. Please be advised never do that to any other corpse eater. They are dangerous."

Cor. E. came over. "No one had any." He whined. "So I stole some chocolate off of Zhang's desk." He showed his spoils of a few small chocolate squares.

"Wasn't the Ei Candi you gave Quintus chocolate?"

"There's a difference between hard chocolate and melty chocolate candy. I prefer the actual chocolate."

"I'm going to tell Zhang."

"Snitch!" He stuffed all the squares in his mouth after unwrapping it. Aevon sighed.

Quintus stared at the lollipop he held. "You really like this candy?"

"Yeah. He eats quite a few a day. The smaller ones come in pairs while the larger are separate. Sometimes he has the smaller other times the larger." Aevon answered while Cor. E. chewed.

Quintus frowned. "Won't he get diabetes if he eats too much sugar?"

While Cor. E. swallowed, Aevon continued answering. "No. You don't get diabetes from just that, and anyways if corpse eaters ever got diabetes, they won't die of it. Or at the very least they'll jump right back up right after they died and just regenerate. Crazy bastards."

"Then how would they die?" Quintus awkwardly glanced at Cor. E. 

Cor. E. returned his glance. "What? Huh. How much about corpse eaters do you know?" 

"Just the basics learned at school." 

Cor. E. started laughing. Aevon raised his eyebrows. "You have a lot to learn huh."

Will be deleting my story. Don't know how to fully delete this though. Sorry and thank you to those who had read.
