Cade absorbed four figure complete puzzle and got himself a total of 120 stat points. However, as he was about to absorb his next figure complete puzzle, to his surprise, he cannot absorb anymore.

"So, the amount of figure I can absorb is limited to my level too," said Cade as he was disappointed that he was unable to gain more stat points. 

There was a list of figure complete puzzle he had absorbed and he had absorbed a total of 10 of them. That meant he can absorb one for each level.

Due to the puzzle pieces for the figure was rare, no one has ever absorbed as many as Cade. The one in possessions of the figure usually only able to absorb one or two of them due to their rarity. 

Because of that, it was not known about the limit. Cade was special and he found out about the limit. Since he got himself the ability to choose his drop, he found a lot of things about the puzzle pieces. 

The things that was unknown to everyone was known by him. However, what he knew cannot be published publicly as they will be suspicious of him and he will attract unwanted attention. 

Other than that, Cade also found out that he was unable to absorb the complete figure of C grade because his growth potential was D grade. Any grade above that was too much for him and the system limited him from absorbing it. 

That complete C grade figure was kept in his storage and if he were to meet Jonathan in the time limit dungeon, he will give him the figure to absorb. 

Now that Cade had known many limitations of the figure, if he were to level up in future, he will absorb the highest grade he was allowed to absorb so that he can get more stat points. 

The 120 stat points Cade got was poured into his vitality completely raising it to 178. Cade felt a bit of regret absorbing the E grade figure but he cannot reverse it as it had already happened. 

With all of that finished, Cade checked his current stat.

Looking at his stat, Cade sighed as it was really imbalance but he was a bit happy that he had a high endurance and vitality. 

With that high endurance and vitality, he will be able to take more hits and even if he was hit by strong attack, he will be abled to endure the recoil and he won't be sent flying like before… probably. 

After he had enough looking at his stats, Cade checked his skills and he sighed more because he had zero offensive skill. 

"I will have a really hard time inside the time limit dungeon without a real offensive skill. I can only rely on my equipment," thought Cade. 

As he was done with everything, Cade used an emergency badge and teleported out of the colored butterfly dungeon.

"I wonder if there is a way for me to go to the time limit dungeon. I hope the train station is still operational," thought Cade as he continued cycling his bicycle to the train station. 

When he arrived there, thankfully the train was still operating. He took the train and headed to the time limit dungeon. It will take about four hours before he arrived there. 

As Cade had nothing to do, he decided to take some rest. He closed his eyes to get some sleep. He had a hard time to sleep as he was nervous about the time limit dungeon. 

He did not know what it looked like inside, what enemy he will encounter and many more things to considered. Not only that, the fate of the planet depended on them. 

The rate of failure was high as at the moment, other than the time limit dungeon on Planet Draor, the other dungeon had shown to have zero progress. He himself might lose his life this time. 

"I haven't fully enjoyed my life and now, it is possible for me to die immediately," thought Cade. He had just resolved himself a few weeks ago about forgetting everything related to his family and now, he can lose his life without any time to enjoy his life. 

Cade was thinking about lots of things he wanted to do and while he was thinking that, bit by bit, he fell asleep. 

While sleeping, he had a dream of playing on the beach with his friends, going shopping with them, playing games, partying with them and many more. 

That was all the things he wanted to do with his friends… no, with someone else. As Cade kept dreaming more and more, the train kept moving towards his destination. 

Four hours later, the train arrived at a station near the time limit dungeon. Cade woke up about half an hour before the arrival thanks to his alarm clock he had set up before he fell asleep. 

Cade got out of the train and the train station was devoid of people. "The spaceship station must have been packed with people," said Cade while he was looking around. 

While he was walking, he can see that all of the shop around had been ransacked by people thanks to all the mess he saw. 

Cade was not surprise by their action. Other than that, he also thought that it will be a waste to leave all of the food and water on the planet as it was highly possible for them to be consumed by the time limit dungeon. 

As he continued towards the time limit dungeon, he can see that the military had blocked the area. Cade equipped all of his linked equipment and walked towards the soldier guarding the area. 

"What business do you have here?" asked the soldier that was guarding the area. He was looking at Cade seriously. 

"I am an explorer and I want to enter the time limit dungeon," said Cade wile looking at the soldier. He was wearing all his linked equipment and four of them were cardboard while another two of them were normal clothes. 

He looked like a kid that wanted to play hero in a dangerous place like the time limit dungeon. The soldier looked at him up and down and he looked at another soldier that was there too. 

That soldier just shrugged and gave signaled for the first soldier to handle it by himself. That soldier frowned and he looked at Cade. 

"Do you have explorer's license," asked the soldier. He was already judging Cade to not be an explorer but to be safe, it was better to check Cade's identity. 

There was many bizarre equipment in the world and the cardboard he saw in front of him might be one of them. He did not want to make a mistake and asked for Cade's license first. 

Cade already knew that this will happen and he had already held his license on his hand. He handed the explorer license to the soldier and he can see that the soldier's eye twitched a bit but he was still calm. 

"He must be surprised but he controls his emotion well," thought Cade as he was a bit amused looking at the soldier. 

"Wait a minute. I will need to check if your license is the real one," said the soldier as he grabbed a tool to scan Cade's license. Once he scanned the license, the basic info of Cade was shown. 

"Please take off your… gas mask?" asked the soldier to make sure that it was really Cade under the mask. 

Cade did not want to complicate things or anything and just complied to what the soldier asked. He took off his gas mask and revealed his face. 

The soldier compared the picture on the license with Cade's face and he nodded acknowledging that it was truly Cade but then he used another tool to see if Cade was disguised under some kind of skill. 

He needed to be careful as he cannot allow civilian to enter the time limit dungeon. If he allowed that, he will get it from higher up. 

He cannot help but feel suspicious at Cade and it was all thanks to his linked equipment. After he confirmed that it was really Cade, he allowed Cade to enter the area. 

Cade wore his gas mask back and got inside the area. As he was walking forward, everyone around was looking at him weirdly. 

"So, that is the time limit dungeon," said Cade as he saw the portal from a far and the system was blaring with warning signal.

In an age of magic, space travel and explorations, humans had far surpassed what they were capable of in the past. 

In a small planet located in a small star sector, a young man name Cade was living his life peacefully. 

One day, Cade was playing around with cardboard and he suddenly awakened his system. However, an accident happened and the cardboard he played with became part of his power. 

Followed Cade's journey in making his name as an explorer in the universe.

***Mecha Station Hospital, Wing 4***
Sarah walked through the starkly lit hallways of wing 4 where they held her brother. Parts of the hallway contained see through glass, for patients and visitors to see out into the station. However, this was more for effect during the day and morning. At night, the station's ceiling would make the darkness five times darker – to discourage people going out after curfew. The light that could seen through the glass shone like a beacon of hope for all to see. It was comforting that the hospital's architecture allowed this, Sarah thought. For space was already an unforgiving, dark vacuum – light and power became a necessity for people of Mecha Station. It was one of few comforts that one could have – this deep into space. 
Sarah looked out into the artificial night of the station and heaved a heavy sigh. As thankful as she was for the hospital to keep housing her brother – it was time to go. She knew deep down, that he wanted to stand on his own, despite his Alzheimer's. Keiji had so much potential when he was younger, which is why he and Sarah were selected to work at Mecha Station. But life happens, and not everything is sunshine roses. Sarah knew this, and was now desperate to help him. 
She stopped walking now and peered into her purse. NX7 was a new drug that was developed on earth ten years before the creation of Mecha Station. However, because of its side effects, it was cancelled and its distribution to the public botched. But low and behold, people had brought the drug with them onto Mecha Station, being sold exclusively in black market avenues. Sarah had heard of the side effects of NX7, but ruled them out as outliers. Her brother's memory was deteriorating daily and NX7 was the only thing powerful enough to stop that. 
Closing her bag now, she continued walking until she reached the room of her brother – room number five. As she entered, she ran into his doctor.
"Ahh, Ms Duranheim," said the doctor who greeted her. "He's doing well today. You might be able to get a decent conversation out of him."
"Thanks Doc," Sarah said as she sat down next to her brother who was lying in the bed. As the doctor left, Sarah pulled from her purse a crossword puzzle first and began it. As she got halfway through, she heard stirring from the bed.
"Hey, I know that one…." Keiji said.
"You do? Great, show me Keiji," Sarah said with absolute calmness. She handed him the puzzle and he filled out the rest extremely quickly. Sarah smiled as her brother was busy with the crossword. Keiji was had been one of the smartest analysts to come from Earth. Originally, he worked on the fourth floor, which was only for top analysts. Their job was to measure the output of the light from the quasar and make projections to convert it into the biological energy needed from Earth. Keeping her brother busy, was about all Sarah could do these days, but today she would try a conversation. As Keiji finished the puzzle and handed it back to Sarah, she turned to face Keiji.
"Hey there little bro, do you remember me?" Sarah asked.
"I do!" Keiji said as his eyes lit up. "You're the woman with the puzzles!" 
"That's right Keiji," Sarah said gently. "I have another surprise for you today though."
"What's that?" Keiji asked. 
"I have special medicine for you today," Sarah said. "It should help a lot. Do you want some?"
"Sure!" Keiji said. Keiji then opened his mouth and waited for Sarah to administer the new medicine. Sarah reached into her purse and pulled out one pill of NX7. She popped it into his mouth and prayed he would be ok. After a few moments, Keiji put his head onto his pillow and fell asleep. Sarah looked at her little brother peacefully sleeping and, decided to take a small nap as well.

The following morning, Zeel was snapped out of his concentration by keys jingling in the lock of his cell.
"Zeel Crawford! You have made bail!" The Officer yelled inside.
"I'm not interested. I'll just stay here for a couple more hours," Zeel replied lazily.
After some back and forth, the Officer managed to get Zeel to agree to leave the cell if he was allowed to bring the Teenager along.
The paperwork was handled swiftly, Zeel only saw the designation 'Croft Industries' on his documentation.
"By the way, what happened to all the other prisoners?" The Officer asked curiously. He was sure that they were at least twelve prisoners in the cell previously.
Zeel thought for a while, realizing he could not exactly lie as a God, but he had come to terms with choosing his words carefully.
"I sent them upstate, so you could say they were spiritually transferred," Zeel answered cryptically.
The Officer seemed confused, so he directed his attention to the dark-skinned teenager standing next to Zeel.
"I don't know anything, bruh," The teenager answered swiftly.
The Officer nodded "Yeah, they were probably transferred to the prison upstate early this morning,"
Exiting the police station, Zeel saw it fit to extend some gratitude to the teen for not 'snitching' on him.
"Here," Zeel said flicking his finger at the teen "Buy yourself something nice,"
Zeel did not wait a moment longer and entered the car that was waiting in front of the station.
After Zeel left, the teenager looked at the penny he caught in his hand and began to curse.
What the hell could he buy with a mere penny? Was that guy just joking around? However, soon the penny vibrated and crystallized, becoming a diamond-penny.
The Teen slowly put the penny into his pocket, bowing a couple of times in the direction Zeel left and ran home with haste.

Croft Industries
It took roughly thirty minutes from The Police Station to Croft Industries. Zeel could already guess that his presence here had something to do with Lara.
Obviously, she was not a good listener since he told her to let him be.
Zeel knew all the public knowledge about Lara, alongside what he could glean from her social media accounts, but he lacked private information about her.
The Laws of The World was big on privacy, and Zeel never asked The Red Queen to monitor Lara's habits.
Though to be fair, The Red Queen probably had the girl under surveillance anyway.
Zeel was guided to the elevator as security escorted him up to the appropriate floor.
The Security was surprised when he turned back only to see Zeel was dressed in a designer blue suit with a red tie.
"Like it? It's from the 'Der Gentleman' collection I saw in a store we passed by on the way. I figured I might as well look the part right?" Zeel asked smiling amusingly at the confused guard.
The Security was extremely confused about where Zeel got the outfit from, and just when did he have time to change.
But his job was to escort, not to ask questions.
The elevator came to a stop and the security escorted Zeel all the way down the hall and into the conference room.
Once there, several more securities joined the entourage and took up strategic locations across the room.
Entering the conference room on the highest floor, Zeel did not sit immediately and wandered around the room, taking in all the sights present.
Lara remained in her seat watching Zeel, she was still coming to terms with what she would have to do next.
"This is a centaur sculpture at least 2,00 years old," Zeel admired the sculpture encased in glass.
"Thank you! You are obviously a man of great tastes," Anna responded.
Zeel did another full circle around the room, then stopped and gazed at the centaur sculpture once more.
"When you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back at you," Zeel said mysteriously and smiled in satisfaction when the feed being broadcasted from the room was turned off.
Zeel liked smart people, he did not have to terminate the recording himself.
Anna's smile cracked a bit since her superiors were monitoring the situation through the sculpture. 
After all, who would desecrate a 2,000-year-old sculpture just to spy on a conversation?
Still, Zeel had yet to take his seat and instead lingered by the window admiring the view.
"Best view in the city," Lara said finally directing her attention to Zeel.
"You should see heaven. It exists in the Highest Dimension.
No matter where you are in any Universe, Heaven always remains above you," Zeel said remembering a time when Aurolana broke the rules to give him a peek of the legendary crystal city.
Finally taking his seat next to Lara, Zeel used his hands to direct Lara's eyes into his own.
The nanites were scanning her body, but Zeel could already guess the result from looking at her slightly elongated pupils.
Draconic Energy could truly turn any energy into more Draconic Energy.
Luckily, it would not kill Lara since it had already been flushed out of her system by Zeel.
Lara allowed Zeel to do whatever he wanted with her body, it felt right to submit to his whims.
*cough*
*cough*
Anna's timely interruption stopped the duo from indulging in each other's presence.
Mr. Yaffe saw that the atmosphere was becoming a bit ambiguous so he wanted to tend to business as soon as possible.
"The pages that require the signature... are marked for your convenience," Yaffe said passing over the contract.
Lara took the contract and gave it a quick once-over.
"What's that for?" Zeel asked. 
"The Price of your freedom for the attempted murder of three people," Lara replied sarcastically causing the curious Zeel to peak over her shoulder.
"DECLARATION OF DEATH IN ABSENTIA - Lord Richard Croft."
"I gather I sign... and... dad is dead," Lara muttered aloud obviously reluctant to sign the papers.
Zeel offered no comfort as he was disinterested in the mundane matters of humans.
Homo-Superiors would ask for a piece of your soul energy when making contracts instead of mere paper.
"I can imagine how... how difficult this is for you. I miss him too," Anna said attempting to comfort the disgruntled Lara; however, before the message could take effect, Yaffe removed something strange from his case.
The object immediately drew the eyes of Lara.
She placed the pen onto the table and reached outwards, gesturing for Yaffe to pass the object over.
"Karakuri – it's a Japanese puzzle," Lara muttered while constantly shifting the position of the puzzle in her hands.
"It was left by your father. Intended to be given to you upon the declaration of his death," Yaffe clarified hoping that Lara would sign the papers before messing with the puzzle.
Zeel was about to sign the papers in Lara's place, but the puzzle suddenly clicked into place causing a photograph and a message to be displayed.
The photo was a younger picture of Lara and her father.
The message startled Lara much more "THE FIRST LETTER, FROM MY FINAL DESTINATION,"
Lara muttered the phrase over and over again until she suddenly came to a realization.
Zeel was about to ask for some treats or tea to satiate his cravings, but Lara pulled him along as they exited the room.
"If you don't sign the paper, we can't be rich," Zeel said disapprovingly.
Lara had just been upgraded from a stranger he had sex with, to a potential 'Fat Cow' to pay for his expenses.
"I think my father is still alive," Lara whispered into Zeel's ears as she dragged him towards the elevator.
It wasn't long until the duo exited Croft Industries and headed to the estate.
Unnoticed by anyone, Zeel managed to grab Centaur Sculpture before exiting the room.
It was pretty much useless for him, but maybe Lara could use the sculpture in a pinch.

Since Sungwoo experienced its firepower before, Sungwoo knew that it contained a skill with the potential of inflicting tremendous damage, but there was one fatal weakness in it.
It was none other than mana. Using all the mana available?
'I now see why these things have the hero grade.'
Mana was essential for the operation of the skeletons. In other words, it is an unsuitable item Sungwoo. 
However, it was fortunate that there was a condition of use for "objects without mana" below it.
'Okay, I can put it on the Ogre Fighter skeleton.'
Since the Ogre Fighter skeleton is an 'object without mana', Sungwoo obtained a skeleton that can use a skill. 
In the meantime, the Werewolf in a brown coat stood aghast, with his long snout wide open, at the appearance of the Ogre Fighter resurrected as a skeleton. 
"No way! Crazy! What the hell are you doing, Necromancer?"
"You said you brought a friend. Why? Can't he be my friend?"
"Don't play on words!"
"Sure, no punning, of course."
Pik! Pik!
"Argh!"
Sungwoo fired at his thigh. The Werewolf fell, screaming in pain, and Sungwoo slowly walked toward him and shouted, "Hey, I think we need to introduce each other."
The monster was shuddering all over at that moment. It was a seizure. Sungwoo pushed his body over with his foot.
"Krrrrrrr...Don't make fun of me! Cough!"
The monster's eyes rolled back as hefoamied at the mouth. Then, he twisted his whole body and stiffened. It was poison.
"Damn it! He poisoned himself for fear of interrogation."
Minhum stomped his feet as if he was angry at that, for he would have interrogated the monster to find out the mastermind behind the attack. Although his main base Youngdungpo Station was attacked, he could not mount a counterattack because he could not find the mastermind. 
However, Sungwoo knew there was another way to find it out.
-The dead will be your subordinate spirit. 
The Werewolf skeleton in a brown coat was resurrected and approached Sungwoo.
Then, a familiar message appeared before his eyes. 
-You can check the 'fragments of the memory' of the dead.
It had been a while since he read somebody's memory. He wasn't sure how this mechanism worked, but it's obvious that the designers of this game deliberately presented fragmented puzzles to Sungwoo. 
Just like a new quest was given when he read the memory of the "Vampire Branch Chief" in the past, the memory fragments gave some sort of hint as if to guide Sungwoo in some direction.
Soon, the Werewolf's memory was reproduced vividly like a video.
'Where is it? This is a subway transfer gate I've seen a few times.'
It was dark, so it was difficult for him to identify the location,  but it was a familiar place.
'Sindorim Station.'
Sungwoo immediately identified the location. Sindorim Station was one of the worst transfer centers in the metropolitan area. Sungwoo had experienced passing through that station several times in the past. 
Now, he was familiar with this face. It was a bull familiar to him, the 'Werebull' who became Sungwoo's subordinate spirit after he was defeated in the department store.
Then, a white Werewolf appeared right behind the Werebull. 
Clad in black scale armor, he was holding a cane. His appearance looked quite unusual.
He approached the Werewolf in the brown coat.
"Turn off your smartphone. Soon, we will enter the enemy's territory."
The Werewolf turned off his cell phone and put it in his pocket. That's why he could not watch the broadcast until the end.
"Oh, it's really getting interesting from now on...The Crusader Team was on the defensive. Damn it!"
When he looked back, grumbling like that, there were a dozen or so human beasts coming up behind his back. They were carrying heavy gas cans and wearing gas masks.
"Well, handsome wolf brother."
"I told you not to call me like that."
"Anyway, brother, I heard that attacking Youngdungpo wasn't necessarily intended to smash the players."
"I don't know about it."
"Are you sure? How come you don't know about it? Even I heard about it."
The white Werewolf stopped at that moment. 
"As the captain said from the beginning, destroying Youndungpo was something we had to do someday, and now is a great opportunity. So, shut up. The enemy camp is close to us."
"Youido?"
"..."
"I heard those crazy scientists forced our captain to accept their demands, saying they would build a research center in Youido.  They even threatened him."
Sungwoo focused on that conversation. Youido? An important piece of information related to Youido came to his mind.
It was none other than 'Korean Server Bad Ending-2'.
"It seems like you have heard lots of nonsense since you have been staying with them these days."
"Well, I don't think the captain is the leader of our organization. It's my impression that he fell into some fascism after he began to mingle with those crazy scientists. I feel it's really funny when I talk to them."
"Hey, let me warn you. Shut your mouth. Let's keep moving."
Having said that, the white Werewolf went ahead.
"Why should you try to keep it from me? They are openly talking about it. Brother, let me tell you something very interesting from now on. Right now in Youido..."
"Stop!"
The video ended there. 
Sungwoo again stood in front of Youngdungpo Station. 
'There are two pieces of information. One of their main strongholds is in Sindorim. And the reason they attacked Youngdungpo Station is because they want to occupy Youido?'
The second piece of information was still like a puzzle. He had to go to Sindorim in order to put together the puzzle.
Sungwoo looked back at Minhum.
"Who is in Sindorim?"
It was only one stop between Sindorim and Youngdungpo. So, it was strange that he didn't know who was in Sindorim.
"Sindorim? There's a group of survivors who were stationed there ten days ago, but they don't want to contact us. Very unusual."
The Liberation Guild was growing a mass of cancer close by.
"If you can enter the station when the smoke disappears, please check again from the underground passage. It looks like they entered through it."
"Really? Then, where are you going…?"
The black sickle and skeletons scattered into the air.
"I am going to step on the tails of those beasts."

Sindorim Station was the center of transportation where Line 1 and Line 2 subways intersected.  Since the game started, there have been a huge number of people gathered there.
In other words, there were a huge number of victims.
"I settled here because it's near Youngdungpo. So, it's good because there are so many corpses. Besides, there is a surplus of experimental materials, too."
The man with blue tape on his eyeglassed looked at the blue water tank with a happy expression. It was a water tank that could be easily seen from the rooftop, but what's different from other tanks was that there were a lot of red symbols on its surface. Then, a Wererat climbed up the ladder and threw a naked female body into it.
"By the way, director, don't you think we need more freezers? Just tell me, and I'll get more of them. The smell of rotting corpses is coming up from the underground tunnel."
The man called the director clicked his tongue and said, "Get used to it. If you get used to it, you can endure anything. Especially, your sense of smell adapts to anything easily."
"Well, in my case, I can smell better since I have become a human beast…"
Without hearing him out, the director turned around. There was disillusionment in his face.

It was just one of those ordinary college class sessions when all of a sudden, texts and quest cards started popping up in the air.
While everybody is flustered by the strange situation, all the lights go dark and the lecture room is engulfed in pitch darkness. Panicked, everybody is afraid of reaching out and taking the quest cards, but not the main character, Seong-woo: He instinctively realizes that he has to pick a card to survive, and he chooses to become a necromancer.
Soon after, a tutorial quest appears, and the entire school turns chaotic. Suddenly, goblins pop out everywhere and start slaughtering people. Survivors find it hard to adjust themselves to all the sudden changes, but Seong-woo overpowers one of the goblins by using his necromancy skill and starts to complete the quest given to him.
Seong-woo continues to grow his power and so does a number of his followers. He is surrounded by the forces of death that vow loyalty to him, as well as talented followers and trustful colleagues, but he is challenged by numerous villains in addition to a system that threatens to degenerate all of humanity.
In a world that is facing a change that it has never experienced before, a necromancer destroys everything with his committed forces!

*Boom* A peaceful visage made of glass and steel was ruined by an eruption of smoke and fire that flooded it way across one of the spires that made piece of the puzzle raining debris on the roads placed through the gaps of this puzzle. At its centre was a large amount of armed individuals wearing a mask similar to that of the Erendale rebellion a few hundred years before. People scrambled to escape as bullets shattered the air colliding with the helpless bodies of everyone around them. Sirens was mixed with the sounds of chaos as military police scrambled to contain the outbreak of violence.
"They're on their way! Turtle!" Shouted one of the insurgents putting the many armed individuals into an organised movement as they prepared a defence against the approaching military police with surprising resourcefulness. Soon the many vehicles arrived and the enemy began to unload from them and assume an offensive on the insurgents who held a successful defence holding them back with a torrent of gunfire.
*Boom* One of the attacker's vehicles was detonated killing several personnel around the vehicle and injuring many more. A nearby gas station erupted into flames casting fire across the roads and buildings around it causing even more collateral damage. Soon, the airforce arrived as they began to drop payloads on the growing pockets of insurgents with little success as they continued to successfully pour into the city sowing chaos throughout.
"Puhuhu! What's this?" Crimson looked on eagerly at that conflict from her confinement noting the obvious connection to her in this attack: They were a fanatic group who worshipped her. They appeared after her disappearance when she decided to delude people's mind with grandeur and giving them a cult worshipping of chaos and then left it to grow. Now they were fighting to reach the labyrinth and to sow chaos in the process.
*Boom* A massive light glared over the labyrinth as floors were reduced to dust down to the lowest of levels. A hijacked nuclear weapon had been fired and the ensuing blast shattered parts of the city and caused radiation to rain down in a large sphere of influence. The fighting did not stop however, as the cultists were adamant on freeing her from her voluntary prison.
Crimson snapped her fingers and her prison shattered freeing her from the prison constructed by Lucifer and the rest. She hopped down from the platform her prison was rest upon and made her way towards the door of the chamber and swatting her hand to the side ripping it over to its side. Immediately she was hit with the blinding light of day as she stepped out into the ruined remains of the labyrinth and the gaping abyss leading up into the war zone above.

Mark spent the two weeks after arriving in the settlement alone in his new home. This house Sarah had made for him was much too large for one person. Sarah had designed the house for a family of three. There were two bedrooms, a den, a large living room, and a moderate sized kitchen. Someone had stocked the house with food in preparation for his arrival, so he didn't even have to leave the house.
He went through all the stages of grief. He found himself mad at Jen for leaving him, Sariel for killing her and at one point even Sarah for not being there to help him through this. He blamed himself, wanted revenge for Jen's death, and had even considered suicide. If it had not been for Katie being alive and safe somewhere he might have actually tried, but he couldn't do that to her. Someday she would find out the truth, and she might need him.
After a couple weeks, Mark started going in to work. Slowly at first, he'd come in for a few hours then return to his home to be alone with his thoughts. Agnus was very considerate and never once chastised him for his sporadic schedule. She invited him to share supper with her and Charles several times, but Mark always had an excuse for why he didn't show up. It took months for Mark to get over his depression, but when he did, he found Charles and Agnus to be good friends.
Over the next year and a half, he spent a good deal of his time at the library. Once he got over his self-declared lack of ability with historical researching, he found that he was actually not bad at it. He even found that he enjoyed translating old documents. It was like a puzzle. He would use the translation software to get a rough translation of the texts then it would be his job to go over every word to make sure it was translated correctly within its context. It was long and arduous work, but the end results were beautifully written accounts of man's first dealings with God and his angels.
They were working on documents written about the time between the creation of man and the great flood of Noah. These documents were written by Noah's descendants in some of the earliest writings known to man. While most of them were trivial things, they were quite interesting, and all of the translations were great accomplishments in their own right. The work at least gave Mark something to focus on to keep his mind off of his grief.
Mark was given his own office in the library, and many times he would find himself listening to the radio while he worked. He was particularly fond of one station that reminded him of Katie.
This station was a religious station that covered many topics. It had been started by a billionaire that lost his wife in a car accident. The man decided that since he had no living descendants to give his fortune to he would use his vast wealth to provide a real religious radio station. One that didn't beg people for donations, in fact, it was forbidden for the station to receive them. The man thought this way the people working there could concentrate on the real message instead of spending so much time worrying about money. This station was non-denominational and provided different slots for many religions. The man had the idea that no religion was the right religion. They were all different views about a power that mankind could barely comprehend. His beliefs brought a lot of controversy, but after a few years it was clear that no one was going to change his mind.
While Jen and Mark had been moderately religious, Katie loved everything related to God. She would sit in her room for hours listening to this station while she played with dolls and toys. As she got older, she found friends, friends that would tease her about listening to this station but Katie was a very opinionated girl. She didn't care what the other girls said, she loved this station, and they weren't going to come between her and what she loved.
Mark recalled a particularly memorable event when Katie was thirteen. She had invited a friend to stay the night, her best friend at the time. This girl's parents must have been very opposed to religion because when Katie turned on her favorite station the girl started an argument with her. Perhaps the argument had been Katie's fault, perhaps not, Mark never really found out. The end result was the girl storming downstairs and Mark giving her a ride home. Katie and this girl never spoke again. To this day, Mark didn't know what the argument had entailed. Katie had always confided in her mother, and mother-daughter conversations were private in their house. Sometimes Mark wished Katie had been able to talk to him about things, but he was grateful that Jen and Katie had been so close.
The views presented by this station provided Mark with a way to be close to Katie. He would picture her, wherever she was, listening to this same station. He wondered what she looked like now. How hard it must have been for her to lose both her parents. Was she adjusting to her new life or struggling with it like he was? Mark desperately wanted to see his little sweetheart even though she was no longer a little girl.

Angels and vampires are real. In the world of the Asuune, half angel and half human, there is a secret war that has been going on for as long as man has walked the earth. Unbeknownst to Kathrine, her father is one of the war's soldiers but what is even more surprising is that she is the war's only hope. Follow the life of Kathrine Albet and her father, Mark, as they fight the evil of fallen angels and vampires to save humanity. It would all be much easier if each Asuune didn't have one true love they couldn't ignore. Fighting the forces of evil may be hard but resisting your true love is all but impossible.

By 11:36 a.m., Rico and Juan grabbed their shoulder bags and left the house, with Juan locking the door and keeping the keys in one of the small zipper pockets of his mint green, spice orange, and shadow grey bag, which was smaller and lighter than Rico's. After that, they exited the front yard, closed and locked the gate, and walked through the streets in meeting up Professor Campillo. They decided to go to mall called Los Seis Caballeros Mall to meet up with Campillo and his city professor, Professor Emerson, an expert of the region's history and an archeologist, at a restaurant, so they'll be taking public transport to get there. But, unlike the train that took them to Vivid Bay station, Komati's train system was multiple and complex, with over 25 stations, 4 lines, and 12 interchange stations. So upon arriving at Vivid Bay station, they glanced at the city's transport map, which also includes bus routes, being surprised by its complexity. Their Pokémon got really surprised as well.
     "How we are supposed to get to that mall?" Rico asked Juan, confusing about the colorful and well-detailed map. "It's so complex we couldn't find where it is." To solve this travel puzzle, Juan think of the solution. "If we take the West Central Bay Line, then transfer at the Lauren Central Park station to the Trans-Central line, and stop at the Los Seis Caballeros Mall station, we can get there in less than 40 minutes." Juan was a prodigy in math and calculating travel times, while Rico is a prodigy in something else, something that is yet to be discovered.
     "Well, that'll be a bit long," Rico commented with skepticism. "How about we take the West Central Bay Line to Northeast Valley station, take the North Valley Line, and stop at Los Seis Caballeros Mall station? How long it will take?"
     "I think that'll be half an hour," Juan answered back, "if it's not too busy." 
     "Oh, right," replied his friend back. But Juan changed his mind suddenly. "You know what, let's take that route you had made." This stuns Rico a lot. 
      "Are you serious?" he commented.
      "Yes, that'll be fine and great, especially the valleys there," responded Juan back happily. Rico then nodded in agreement; he, Juan, and their teams then proceeded to the platforms through the ticket gates with the proposed route in their minds. By 11:50 a.m., the metro train arrived at their station, opening its doors. As the other passengers get off, they boarded the train and take a few seats for themselves. In that train car, it's not that busy or crowdy. When 12 o'clock struck, the doors are closed and the train proceeds to depart from the station in rising speed. Along the way, as the train went through the rails, Rico glanced at the train windows towards the city's buildings and skyscrapers, which were varied by size and design, but with similar materials. Most of the Pokémon birds are perching on the roofs and trees. Rico can't wait to see his professor and his friend, saying how he missed him so much. Professor Campillo was more like a professor to him than just a close friend, and Professor Campillo usually asked Rico about his Pokédex. Also, Campillo had close friends and fellow professors both in his region and most regions around the world. The reason for Campillo's visit to the capital is to meet up with Professor Emerson and talked about a historical Pokémon arena in the city and its future and concerns. He'll be staying there for a few days, similar to Rico's duration of stay in the big city. Campillo also had a vacation house west from the city downtown, the same one Juan had described to his friend. 
     Later, by 12:16 a.m., the train had arrived at Northeast Valley station, a station located at a semi-urban area in a famous valley called The Komati River Valley. This series of valleys had a long river that runs through the valley and empties in the west at the Komati Bay. The valleys was home to over one-sixth of the capital city's population. Most of the people living there are mostly farmers, public transport drivers and operators, and shop and restaurant owners. The settlement had two schools, one big Pokémon Center, one big Pokémon Battle Club, and a Town Hall next to the river. Most of the houses and businesses are located within less than 10 meters from the riverbanks, and most of the buildings showed a distinctive pattern: In the bottom parts of the valley, the buildings are always made of strong materials to withstand the floods prevalent in the area, while in the areas a bit further away from the flood-prone ones are made of materials a bit less stronger than the ones in the bottom, but those buildings are also cheaper to buy and maintain. Despite the low grade slope, there are many farms and fields located near the river, mostly growing crops like vegetables, and a concrete bridge that crosses over it, connecting the two parts of the settlement together. There's even a little bus service that serves residents from the valley to the city and vice versa. This unique features made this small settlement in the valleys a strange, but a beautiful place to explore. 
     And as the doors are open, Rico, Juan, and their teams get off the train and proceeded across the platform and boarded another train bound for Los Seis Caballeros Mall station via the North Valley Line. In less than 6 minutes, the train closed its doors and left the station. It stopped at 3 more stations along the way before finally arriving at Los Seis Caballeros Mall station at 12:30 a.m., the exact amount of time the route takes. But in that amount of time from Northeast Valley station to Los Seis Caballeros Mall station, they enjoyed the view of the valleys there as the train passes by and crossing the river twice. The station was a bit busy than at the Vivid Bay station or the Northeast Valley station. When the doors are opened, Rico and his group get off and went up to the ground via the escalator. There they exited the train station part of the mall through the ticket gates, and into the main part of the mall via the stairs.

This is the fiction story of an ordinary kid, who had humble beginnings, and aspire to become a strong Pokemon trainer. And along the way, he will meet new people, Pokémon, places, and even travel to other strange places where his true identity will slowly unfold, and new skills to acquire.

Alice lays on her bed, sleeping with the rabbit embraced into her chest. The train suddenly stops as the conductor claimed there is a small power outage. Alice wakes up slowly as she yawns and bites on Lancelot's left ear. 

"Ouch!" The shock made the rabbit scream and jumped. "Alice, what are you doing!" The enraged rabbit directs his small arms to Alice. 

Alice blinks her eyes as she stretches her arms. "Eating raw rabbit." She ignored the frightened rabbit and walks out the entrance. With the train stopped, she might as well go for some fresh air. Being on the train for hours has made she bored and tired. 

She steps out into the grass field. Apparently, they are almost there to the city.  She found a tree and lays on its trunk. 

The wind breezes through her hair as the shadows covered herself from the sunlight. Relaxing in the field, while the rabbit chews on his carrot. 

"You should train your mana." Lancelot's tiny voice speaks out while chewing his food. 

Alice's golden eye shines as her confident voice breeze with the wind. She gently smiles at the rabbit. "Give me a second." She closes her eyes and chanted - Athene -. 

Blank white space, scattered mirror puzzle pieces revolving around Alice. She spreads and and directs the pieces as if she could have touched them.  

"Search : Tag : Mana". Her voice commanded. 
Mirror pieces faded away one after another, leaving hundreds of them left. 

Alice sighs. "Filter: Increase Mana Capacity". 
The mirror pieces faded away remaining three puzzle fragments in the air as they collect each other and drawn themselves to Alice. 

"Blue, White and one with both Black and Yellow. Spells have their own elements and rank" Athena's majestic voice vibrates through the room. Same to magic ranks, spells have five stages as well. They are determined by the amount of power and potentials they contain. 

Colours determine their element and mana type. While their ranks are determined by their tiers. Tier 1 being the most common and Tier 10 being the strongest. 

"There are three spells in front of you. All of these abilities, some belongs to me and some I learned from others. Choose wisely, these will determine how you control this world." Athena's voice disappears while Alice stares into the puzzle pieces. 

"At least tell me, what are these.." Runes appeared on the mirror, languages that Alice does not understand but the second later, the words morphed into English. 

Aqua Consumption, Divine Gathering and Twilight Core. 

– Wisdom Eye – Alice chanted. 
Information assimilated into Alice's eyes, data created within her knowledge. She understood, the abilities in front of her as if we always knew them. 

- Aqua Consumption – The ability to convert liquid into mana and consuming into your own. 
- Divine Gathering – Gathers unowned mana within a radius and adapting it into your own. 
- Twilight Core – Absorbing the Power of Light and Darkness and converting themselves into mana 

Alice sat down and thought to herself. "Why don't I just learn all of them? "

"Divine Gathering sounds good for now, it is probably the best in my current situation either way." 

Alice taps on the White puzzle piece. The fragment dissolves into white particles and embarks into her. 

The rabbit still staring at Alice's breast. She grabbed his ears and threw him into the tree. "Pervert! You are a rabbit for god sake..." She sighs as she shooked her head.  

She once closes her eyes again. 
- Divine Gathering – She Chanted.

The clouds gathered and the skies turn red. The wind stormed as white mana revolving themselves around Alice. Invisible white mana flows into Alice until her body will not accept any more of that mana. The spell ended. The skies became clear blue again and the wind returned to its' regular course. 

"I guess there is a limit to everything, my body can't contain all of them." Alice sighs as she holds her chin with her fingers. 

Lancelot falls down from the air. "What was that for? My head is all dizzy" The squeaky voice hurled. 

"Ayeeeee! How did your magic rank increased?!" Lancelot's shock expression made Alice giggled. 

"I have my own ways. How can you tell, I thought you needed a magical orb or something for that? Alice questioned.  

"Sir Lancelot's powers knows no beyond!" The rabbit stood on both his feet as he laughs in his squeaky voice.   

They returned to the train and sat on their bed once as the train is about to start. Coming to a small tunnel that connects to the nearby station. The passengers all laugh and smiles as they are reaching the City of Saria.

Suddenly the train shook and accel through the tunnel under an uncontrollable speed. Lancelot fell on the air due to the impact. Alice lifts herself up and grabs the ears on Lancelot, pulling him with her both hands, stuffing him into her chest. The rabbit turns red as he struggles to breathe. 

"Ahhh.. no, stay away!" A loud elderly woman's voice screamed through the train. "Monster, everyone run!". Passengers panicked as they crashed into each other. "Move it" "Open the doors" "Dammit its coming closer!" Noises echo through the uncontrollable train. "We are all going to die!" 

They panicked more as the Red Lizardman walks towards them with his tongue sticking out. His lunges his claws against one of the passengers, grabbing his first kill on this train.  

 - Angel Feathers : Command: Protect - A female voice reaches the monster's ears. 

Snow white feathers scattered forming a small shield protecting the passenger as Alice walks out to the lobby room of the train.

Three thousand years ago, Athena was sealed. For love, for peace, for war, and for the human realm. Betrayed by the gods, humans, and demons. She promises to bring terror when she awakens. 

Three thousand years now. She rests her soul within a mana-less young woman, Alice.
