I can’t start novels for my life so I am posting ideas for other people to make stories. You don’t have to quote me just let me know what novel it is so I can read it for fun because I’m bored.

Halos limang minuto na ang nagdaan pagkagising, pero nakatingin na naman ako sa kisame ng kwarto ko; iniisip ang mga kung anu-anong bagay na palaging bumabagabag sakin tulad ng ano nga ba ang 'kulay' ng mga kulay? Ga'no kaya ka pula ang pula? Na, pag tungtong ko ng highschool, do'n ko lang pala malalaman na 'di limitado sa green ang kulay ng mga dahon, nakakatawa sa iba, oo, pero sa kalagayan ko, imposible talaga 'to para maging isang 'common knowledge'.  Paano, ang common kasi sa mga paningin ko ay parang kung ano ang tawag ng mga 'normal' sa mga makalumang pelikula – Black and White.
      
      Natatawa ako sa sarili ko everytime na ang mga tao, agad-agad ang description sa isang black and white na palabas, ay 'for oldies'-makaluma.     

      Basta black and white, malamang, para sa kanila, makaluma na. Yun ang trip nila e. Hayaan na lang. Kalimutan na lang. Pero 'di ko inaasahang ipapaalala sa'kin 'to ulit nang may pina-panood akong pelikula sa mga estudyante kong mga bata kahapon. 'Di naman ako naba-bother, sadyang napapaisip lang ako kung may mag-iiba ba sa akin, sa buhay ko, kung matino ang mga mata ko? Kaya ba matured akong kumilos at mag-isip ay dahil 'for-oldies' ang paningin ko? For oldies na paningin equals for-oldies na ugali. In other words, Oo, naba-bother ako. Sobra. Mahirap kasi ang maging iba sa paningin ng iba. Lalo naman sigurong mas mahirap na iba ang panigin mo kaysa sa paningin ng iba. Teka ang gulo.
      
     Pangalawang taon ko na ring nagtuturo ngayon sa isang private elementary school kasama ang best friend ko, na kapwa ko teacher. Naisip ko kasi, bilang activity sa mga bago kong hahawakang students, ipapanood ko sa kanila ang isa sa mga bumuo sa childhood ko: The Wizard of Oz, y'ung 1939 version na pinagbidahan ni Judy Garland.  Wala pa rin kasing tatalo sa original version, alam mo 'yon?

     "Kids, we will watch an old movie today. And for your activity later, you will pass a drawing of your favorite scene of the movie. You know, this movie taught me a lot of things when I was your age. I hope this goes the same with you." sabi ko na may tonong handang makipaglaro at ma-engganyo.
 
      "Okay teacher!" sagot nila na mukha namang excited sa mga mangyayari. 
       Sabay kong nanonood ang mga estudyante ko at para bang bumalik din ako sa sariling kong kabataan. Pasulyap sulyap din ako minsan at tinitignan ang mga inosenteng reaksiyon ng mga batang 'to. Nakakatuwa.
     Maya maya, sa isang eksena kung saan si Dorothy, y'ung bidang character sa pelikula, ay nakarating na sa Oz; biglang nagtaas ng kamay ang isang student ko na parang may gustong ipalinaw sa mga nakikita niya at nalilito. Naalala ko, no'ng una ko namang napanood 'to, 'di naman ako nahirapan intindihin kung ano ang nangyayari sa pelikula. Specifically, sa parte na y'un. Malinaw pa sa tubig ulan, lumabas si Dorothy sa farmhouse nila, at nakita niya na siya ay napadpad na sa ibang lugar. Klaro. Pero mabuti na rin siguro 'yan, at least may curiousity ang batang 'to.
  
      "Yes Ethan?"

      "Teacher, I thought we're watching an old movie?" 

      "Oh, yes we are. This movie was released way back, even before I was born. Why did you ask?" 
 
      "Because teacher, it's now in colors." sagot naman ng isa ko pang studyante. 
 
      "What do you mean, Annie?" tanong ko muli.

      "A while ago po kasi teacher, it's for oldies, pero now po it's colorful like my crayons po." sabay taas ng crayon box niya.
 
      "For oldies? "bulong ko sa sarili ko. Mukhang ako ang may kailangang linawin.
 
      "Opo teacher, kaya it's confusing po" sagot ni Annie
 
      "Kids, just continue watching and I'll just clarify something outside." dagdag ko.
 
      "Yes teacher!"

        Dali-dali akong tumakbo palabas ng klase ko para hanapin si Paulo, best friend at co-teacher ko. Sinuwerte naman ako, at padaan rin siya sa hallway kung saan nakapwesto ang homeroom ko. May kagat pang siopao sa bunganga ang hayop.
 
       "Teacher Paulo! Tulong nga dito." sigaw ko na mukhang kakatapos lang mag-almusal.
       "O, napano ka 'tol? May batang nanghipo sa'yo? Ganito 'yan i-demanda mo yung parents. Siopao gusto mo?" 
       "Gago, hindi p'wede 'yun, ako pa-madedemanda diyan. Ilayo mo sa aking yan. Teka! About dun sa Wizard of Oz, may tanong kasi 'yung mga bata."
 "O ano nga?" pangungulit nito.
 
      "Dun kasi sa part na lumabas na ng farmhouse si Dorothy, yung nasa Oz na siya, nalito daw yung mga bata, nung una daw 'for oldies', tapos maya maya parang 'di naman daw." pagka sabi ko n'on, mukhang alam na ni Paulo kung ano ang tinutukoy ko. 
 
     "'Di ko ma-gets ano gustong i-point ng mga bata e." pagkukunwari kong tanong sa kanya.
     "Ahh, ganito kasi 'yan 'tol, sa umpisa kasi, grayscale 'yung mga eksena sa movie; medyo mukhang black and white, parang makaluma, pero sa part na tinukoy mo, nagka-kulay na siya, tulad ng sinabi nila. E alam mo naman –bata, pag black and white pang matanda para sa kanila. Weird nila no? Hahaha!" paliwanag niya na tunog kaawa-awa ang sitwasyon ko at binawi sa isang corny na joke.
      
     "Gago."

      Bata pa lang kami, alam na ni Paulo ang kondisyon kong 'to. Iilang beses na akong napahamak, napahiya at nalungkot dahil dito. At andun siya palagi para ibaling lahat ng yun sa ngiti. Kaso puro kalokohan naman alam nun. Sakit lang ng ulo inaabot ko.  

     "Ba't ka nag-sosorry? Wala yun 'tol. Ayos lang sa'kin. Halika nga dito ikaw mag-explain sa mga bata." pakiusap ko.
 
     "I'm on it chief." sabat ni Paulo na naka salute pa.
 
      Sa tinagal tagal na ng pinagsamahan namin ni Paulo, nasanay na rin ako sa mga maka-outer space at corny niyang mga hirit. Magkapatid na nga turingan namin sa isa't isa. Since, nu'ng araw na lumipat sila ng bahay na tapat s'amin, nag-click kami instantly, seryoso ako, clown siya. Tama nga, kailangan may isang kurimaw sa mag-kakaibigan. Halata namang 'di ako yun.

      Sabagay, 'di naman kasalanan ng mga bata na wala akong ideya ano ang mga kulay. Kung meron man, pamilya lang ng puti at itim ang nakikita ko. Bulag ako, pero 'di gaano. Bulag ako sa kulay, aside from that, maayos at wasto naman ang katawan ko. 

     Ata? Ewan.
  
     Sa kondisyong ito, limitado lang ang kayang makita ng mga mata ko. 'Di ko na – enjoy simula bata ako: ang mga ulap sa isang maliwanag na panahon; Ang mga parol na kislap at kutitap lang ang nagbibigay katangian sa kanila, ang naninilaw raw na pustiso ng lola ko, ang kulay ng medyo maduming kanal, kulay ng sipon ni Paulo, at kung ano pa. 'Di ko naman hinayaang malimitihan din nito ang potensyal ko bilang tao, bilang ako, 'diba? 'Di ako nagpadala sa bigat ng kawalan ng kulay sa buhay. Literal na kulay: asul, berde, pula, lahat. 

     At least sure ako, na itim ang blackboard. 
 
     Kaya, sa tuwing na-papaisip ako kung anong…

      Unti-unti kong narealize na kanina pa pala ako nag de-daydream, nag-iisip, at 'di ko namalayan na late na pala ako.

      "Ano'ng oras na?" Tumingin ako sa phone ko na nag-alarm.
      "7:30 a.m."
      "Ugh. Oras na. Kailangan mo nang tumayo. May pasok ka pa Ren." pagpipilit ko sa sarili.

      Agad na akong tumayo at humarap sa salamin, na nasa likod ng nakasarado ko pang pinto, at tinignan ang poster na nakasabit dito, na araw-araw ko nang nakagawiang gawin. Daily ritual kumbaga. Well, 'di naman talaga daily. 
      
      Ito ay kasing laki lang ng isang long bond paper pero matibay na karton 'to. Para siyang kalendaryo pero instead na mga araw o dates, e, mga life quotes ang nakadikit.  Nakasulat sa instruction nito sa bandang itaas ng poster, simple lang naman; Ipi-pikit ko lang ang mata ko, sabay turo ng hintuturo sa kung anumang parte ng poster na'yon. Kung ano ang maturo o madikit sa hintuturo ko, 'yon ang magiging life quote ko sa araw na 'yon.

     Life quote, in terms na p'wedeng d'un umikot ang buhay o 'yung pilosopiya mo pansamantala. At pagka-napili na ang life quote na 'yon, dapat itong tanggalin, at i-peel, kasi sticker lang naman siyang nakadikit sa poster, and life goes on.
 
     Nakita ko lang ito sa isang bookstore n'ung minsang bumibili ako ng materials para sa mga teaching materials ko. Halagang 22 pesos lang naman kaya binili ko na rin, wala namang mawawala.
 
     Ngayon, halos dalawa't kalahating buwan ko na itong ginagamit, kahit nakalaan lang siya para sa isang buwan. Trentang life quotes; isa para sa bawat araw ng isang tipikal na buwan. Napasobra sa dalawang buwan kasi, medyo… medyo tinatamad akong gumamit minsan. Kesyo late na ako. Kesyo 'di ko lang ramdam. At kung ano pang katamaran ko. 
 
     Nung unang beses nga, pagkadilat ko, wala na pala sa poster 'yung daliri ko kaya kung anong pinaka malapit na quote , e 'yun ang ginamit ko. Wala namang nakakakita e.

Ni 'di ko nga rin matandaan kung may effect nga ba y'ung quote na 'yon sa buhay ko nung araw na 'yon. Nakalimutan ko. Nag-sayang lang ba ako ng 22 pesos? Pambili rin ng overpriced na siomai sa school canteen 'yun.  Masarap pa naman.
 
 Maliban din dun 'di ko na matandaan masyado ang mga napili kong life quotes. Maybe I just didn't give much care? Pero this time,'di na ako magdadalawang isip sa araw na'to. Last quote na rin naman ng poster na'to. Tatamarin pa ba ako? Naisipan ko na rin na h'wag pumikit dahil wala na rin sense kung pipikit pa. Sino ba niloloko ko.

Let's talk about some great quotes.  Some of which are totally idiotic and some are inspiring. 
I have picked my ten favorite from my cubical wall.  I look at these sayings every day and have been for at least six months. 
They are listed in no particular order.
Number 1:
"Never go to a doctor whose office plants have died"
Have any of you ever experienced or observed a dead plant in a doctor's office and still proceeded to continue into the appointment?  I am going to be VERY conscious and cautious of this from now on.  You can't keep a plant alive but you expect me to have faith in you to take care of my health needs?  I don't think so silly goose.  Also, that's how you get herpes.
Number 2:
"Have no fear of perfection, you'll never reach it"
This quote is a solid and realistic outlook on life.  So I have now lowered my standards and expectations in life.  I no longer push as hard as I used to because the energy used to strive for perfection is probably better used jacking my willy winky.  Also, that's how you get herpes.
Number 3:
"Hard work never killed anyone, but why take a chance"   
Don't risk your life for no reason.  This is the motto of a man that is still alive, while many have fallen to the harsh times of working hard for no reason.  Don't let it happen to you.  One day I slowly slipped into cardiac arrest, I stopped working as my heart beat slowed.  As I stopped, my heart rate began to regain its rhythm and I survived but I will never get to that point in my life again.  Also, that's how you get herpes.
Number 4:
"Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently"
This one is a Henry Ford quote.  The mastermind behind one of the most important and stable car companies in history.  This is a good one for somebody that likes to really strive for problem solving and hard work.  When you fail, you reevaluate what you did and you tweak the idea a hair and try again.  Simple enough.  This one will not give you herpes.
Number 5:
"The only reason people get lost in thought is because it is unfamiliar territory"
Now I know what my problem is, it's not ADHD as everyone suspected.  I can't problem solve or do the task over and over again because my little pea brain is exploring other areas that it has never stumbled into before.  This causes a sort of rain man effect, but without the genius behind it.  Also, that's how you get herpes.
Number 6:
"Never take life seriously.  Nobody gets out alive"
Less than 1% of all Americans accomplish the goal of becoming super rich and never having to work again because of an idea they came up with or something they invented.  Don't be so serious or as the Joker would ask, "Why so Serious?"  Live life for what it is, don't be so serious.  Don't jump for a fight because someone looked at you wrong or they grabbed all up in your crotch.  Just let it happen.  Also, that's how you get herpes!
Number 7:
"If you're planning on having an emergency, please let us know" 
Ok, this is a delicate subject.  My boss said this, in front of a large group of people and I instantly flinched and leaned to my desk neighbor and asked "Can you plan an emergency?"  What I learned from this is, don't let an emergency control your life. You control the emergency, simply by planning it out.  So first you're going to need a time machine, then you'll simply need to travel to the next month and note every emergency you have coming up and then come back and put it on your outlook calendar.  Time travel comes with one main side effect though… herpes.
Number 8:
"Lunch time is not a time, it's a feeling"
Damn skippy!  Next time your boss or even a peer walks by and asks you why the hell you're eating your lunch at 8:30 am recite this quote.  It works 99% of the time but in the rare case you are on the 1% scale, just beg for mercy and you may not get fired.  Also, that's how you get herpes.
Number 9:
"We don't have a key to get into the keys" 
Very special quote.  The one that really caused me to start printing quotes and putting them on my wall.  All the keys to the offices and what not are locked in a lock box on the wall.  Obviously, the lock box has a lock which accepts a key.  The key was lost, the quote was said and it will forever be in my heart and in or around my mouth. Also, that's definitely how you get herpes.
Number 10:
"Everyone has a photographic memory; some just don't have the film"
This is essential to all non-photographic memory people.  Get some film, get a new SD card, get something so you can take pictures with your brain and you can remember everything.  This may qualify you as an X-Man but do it anyways.  Load that camera you call a brain up with something important to you, like internet pornography or crude jokes to tell at parties, if you ever get invited to one.  This is not one of the ways you can get herpes, so rest easy my friends.
There you go.  Use them, abuse them and accept the herpes that comes with them.

This is a collection of hilarious blogs written over a long period of time.  Some are serious but mostly this book is comprised of blogs that are silly and funny.

Keanu and Mythi walked towards the end of the tunnel where the light is coming through. Soon they could able to find the way out of the tunnel. There comes an open place where they could hear some falls nearby.  

After reaching the falls, they were stunned by the mesmerizing beauty. So they just looked back and realized that the path they walked through seems like a deep forest. It made them think that, how can there be a place where they can see the cave, tunnel, forest, falls and splendid beauty.

They stopped at a place where there is a falls on their left side and a deep forest on the right side. Soon they understood that their path ends here and the path they choose further determines the answer for an unreasonable life they have been put through.

Mythi read out the quote from the voice note again, *Place the heart into the cry and this leads you to the place you have gotten stuck this long*

Keanu listened to the quote and said, "This flower which we pluck might be related to the heart or may be that's my perception. But the details about cry we still need to search"

Mythi said, "In the initial time whenever I landed into my dream, I used to go into a dark tunnel and heard some loud cries. May be it might be related to the cry mentioned in the voice note."

Finally they came to a conclusion that the flower and cry they have seen/heard directly related to quote in the voice note.

As they looked either side of the place they currently stand in, they both agreed to walk towards the right side. As their search involved cry, then it means some living being which can be found near by forest where as the cry could not be heard on falls clearer.

Started walking as per the plan and as they went deep into the forest, the place appears pitch dark. They could hear noises of insects cry but nevertheless they don't want to turn back at any cost.

Because they believed that the sufferings they put through finally might reap them the answer. So after a long walk may be around 2 hours or so, Keanu said, "Let's take a break for some time."

Mythi could sense that she is way too tired comparatively to Keanu. Yet he demanded for break upfront. She somehow sensed that he said on behalf of her.

Though she wanted to take break, she don't want to make a delay in their journey. So she hasn't said out loud.

When they both searched for a place to stay, both of them stunned for a minute. They could see a gigantic tree with a hole just like even two bears can shelter inside.

She was searching for words to describe the situation currently happening in front of her. 

Keanu sensed the feel of Mythi, because it is similar to the place they stayed when Mythi went on fireflies shower trip.

Soon He pulled her along with him and went towards the tree. He said, "Just be outside, I'll check whether it is safe to stay here".

He moved closer to the tree and went into the hole. There isn't any trace of animals and he further looked outside and nearby places of the tree for any animal footprints. Once he confirmed it is safer, he called for her to come into the tree hole.

Mythi is overwhelmed still, to see things between dream and reality. How could there be such things. True!!! This world is sure made of miracles and unknown places.

She moved inside the tree hole and sat there for some time. Keanu sat near by and comforted her, "I could feel the thoughts on your head like things being happened between the dream and reality. But on a good note, these interlinking might bring us closer to end our sufferings. Just stay focused and endure a little."

Mythi nodded her head and soon, it started drizzling as of the night while she was in trip. More of things being held similar to her reality, the more she could feel something which could not be described in words.

Keanu just pulled her closer to him and held her tightly. By now, She got used to his warmth, like whenever she felt afraid in her dream, He stood by and embraced her.

Mythi moved to a new place but still the older dream of her keeps on haunting. She is trying her best to behave like a normal person in the new environment.

But she knows she might fail miserably, hence as usual she plans to keep herself out from everyone. In a drift moment, her life is about to change upside down with the help of her own courage, an unknown soul and her friends.

Love traverses through various journeys in reaching every human's life.

Ickapoo is guilty of loneliness. But false crimes will be cleared over time. Eternal justice shows more reason, fairness, than the justice of courts.
“They would be content to die if there were no other excuse why they should desire to live.”  
 Act 1, Scene 1, Lines 44-46. Leontes is the king of Sicilia. Polixenes is the king of Bohemia. These two kings have been bosom friends since childhood. Archidamus, a Bohemian courtier, has just offered glowing recommendations for Mamillius, Leontes’ only son. Camillo, a courtier to the king of Sicilia, supports the comments made by Archidamus, saying “They that went on crutches before he was born desire yet their life to see him a man.” Camillo offers this quote. All seem to believe that Mamillius is a talented young man. Continuing to fall over himself with praise for Leontes, Mamillius, and his fellow countrymen, Archidamus says “If the King had no son, they would desire to live on crutches till he had one.”
“We were two lads who thought there was no more in the future but such a day tomorrow as today, and to be boys eternal.”  
Act 1, Scene 2, Lines 79-82. Hermione is Leontes’ wife, his queen. Complimenting her husband, as usual, Hermione has been trying to get Polixenes to stay in Sicilia a week more. Polixenes has been in Sicilia for some time, visiting his long-time friend Leontes. Hermione stirs up memories of the past, saying “tell me of my lord’s tricks and yours when you were boys.” Polixenes offers this quote. But in spite of her insistence, he is determined to quickly return to Bohemia. Polixenes has business to tend to in Bohemia.
“One good deed dying not spoken of kills a thousand accompanying it. Our praises are our wages.”  
Act 1, Scene 2, Lines 118-120. Leontes praises his wife’s effort to encourage Polixenes to extend his stay in Sicilia. He says “once before you spoke to better purpose.” The two of them, happy as can be to have Polixenes there in Sicilia, banter with each other, Hermione responding to his comment, by saying “not twice; not more than twice?” She says “Cram us with praise, and make us as fat as tame things.” She then offers this quote. She asks “what was the first time I spoke to better purpose?” He says when “thou didst utter I am yours forever.There is no marital friction between them.
“I may be negligent, foolish and fearful. These are such infirmities that honesty is never free of.”  
Act 1, Scene 2, Lines 310-325. Hermione has persuaded Polixenes to stay in Sicilia for another week. But Leontes has now become jealous pf Polixenes, believing that Hermione in her persuasive efforts has been seducing Polixenes. Now convinced that Hermione and Polixenes are more than just friends, believing she has had a “too close relationship” with Polixenes, Leontes throws a tantrum at his aide, Camillo, for not seeing what Leontes now believes is her adultery. Camillo doesn’t quite know how to react to Leontes, saying this to defend himself.
“Do not weep, good friends; there is no cause. When you shall know your mistress has deserved prison, then abound in tears as I come out.”
Act 2, Scene 1, Lines 141-146.  An enraged Leontes, believing Polixenes to be the cause of Hermione’s pregnancy,imprisons Herione. Hermione maintains composure, speaking only to her ladies, asking that they attend her in prison to help her during her late stage pregnancy. 
“Often, the silence of pure innocence persuades when speaking fails.”  
Act 2, Scene 2, Lines 50-51.  Knowing the king is very upset with Hermione, imprisoning her, Paulina, one of the queen’s ladies-in-waiting, offers to tell Leontes of the birth of their daughter, hoping she can “prove honey-mouthed” and ease the friction between the two of them. Paulina says “We do not know how he may soften at the sight o’ th’ child.” Paulina offers this quote. Emilia is another lady-in-waiting. Paulina ignorant that Leontes believes Polixenes is the child’s father.
It is the heretic that makes the fire, not she who burns in ‘t.”  
Act 2, Scene 3, Lines 148-149. . Paulina has just told the king at length how much the child looks like him, saying “the print be little, the whole matter and copy of the father.” She continues to describe how much  the two look alike. Leontes will have none of it. He says “I’ll have thee burnt.” She says “I care not” and says this.

  “Some powerful spirit instruct the hawks and ravens to be thy nurses.”   Act 2, Scene 3, Lines 227-228. Leontes has just commanded Antigonus, another of the king’s courtiers, to take the child to some remote desert out-back in Bohemia and to desert the baby there. Antigonus, having agreed to do anything to save the child from being burned, agrees to the command. He picks up the child and offers this prayer.
If powers divine behold our human actions, as they do, I doubt not then but innocence shall make false accusation blush and tyranny tremble at suffering endured with calmness.”  
Act 3, Scene 2, Lines 29-33. Hermione to the Court. The court’s indictment has read that she committed adultery with Polixenes and conspired with Camillo to take away the life of her husband, Leontes. Leontes has been unjustly cruel Hermione was calm as she listened to the accusations. The queen offers this speech soon after the judgement.
O thou tyrant, do not repent these things, for they are weightier than all thy woes can stir.”  
: Act 3, Scene 2, Lines 228-230. Hermione dropped unconscious when the Court was told that Mamillius had died. She was carried out of the courtroom. Paulina followed her out. Leontes apologized to the court. Paulina re-enters and cries out truth-as-it-is to the court. She says “But the last woe, O lords, the Queen’s dead.” She then offers this quote to the court and to Leontes, going on to say to the king “A thousand supplicants for ten thousand years could not move the gods to look that way thou wert.”
“What’s gone and what’s past should be past grief.”  
 Act 3, Scene 2, Lines 246-247. Paulina to the Lords. As we say, Paulina has reported to Leontes and to the court that Hermione is dead. Paulina continues to chastise Leontes. A lord asks her to “Say no more.” She says “I do repent.” She says this to the court.
“I cannot forget how I destroyed the sweet’st companion that e’er man bred his hopes out of.”  
Act 5, Scene 1, Lines 12-13. Perhaps twenty years have now passed since Leontes’ wife Hermione collapsed and he was told she had died. At that same time he had learned that their son Mamillius had also died. It was then that Leontes, furious, had demanded that their baby girl Perdita be taken to the Bohemian out-back and left there. He continues to suffer from remorse over his willful orders.
Dear queen, who ended when I but began, give me that hand of yours to kiss.”  
Act 5, Scene3, Lines 53-54.Paulina has led the royal family into the gallery to view the statue of the queen, all standing in honor and wonder at the statue as Paulina draws back the curtain. Perdita kneels and then talks to the statue, offering this quote. Paulina calls Perdita back, saying “O patience! The color’s not dry
When she was young, you wooed her; now in age is she become the suitor?”  Act 5, Scene 3, Lines 134-135. Paulina to Leontes. Paulina has just asked Hermione, standing in the gallery as a statue, to descend. She does. For the moment, all are in shock and awe. Leontes then says “O, she’s warm! If this be magic, let it be art.” Paulina offers this quote.
“You gods, from your sacred vials pour your graces upon my daughter’s head.”  
  Act 5, Scene 3, Lines 153-155.  Having appeared to be a statue, Hermione now has descended from a platform and embraced her husband. Paulina introduces her to her daughter. As we now know, Hermione hadn’t seen her daughter since the day she was born, some sixteen to twenty years ago. The queen offers this quote.
Hermione represents a Christ figure who is crucified by the jealous, irrational and sinful man Leontes, to be resurrected 16 years later after Leontes repents of his jealousy, irrationality, selfishness and egocentrism. His sin was disbelieving the goodness and fidelity of Hermione, much like unbelievers crucified Christ and refused to believe he was their savior and Messiah. At her resurrection, Leontes comes to see how foolish he was all this while, much like the persecutors of Christ repent at his resurrection when they realize they had wrongly accused Christ and he is indeed the good and rightful Messiah of the world. The vindication of the innocent Hermione parallels the vindication of the innocent Christ who was wrongly accused and crucified for no crime of his own. The play thus testified to the vindication of the righteous over the course of time. Time will reveal the innocence of the wrongly accused, just as Hermione is vindicated at her resurrection Christ will reveal his true innocence and status as the true Messiah when he returns in final glory at the second coming. 




It was the year 2046. In the distant and faraway planet or Yr lived a lonely alien named Ickapoo. It had no friends as all its species had been vanquished from a meteor storm. In its solitude and misery it pined for a companion.
Yr was a bare and inhospitable planet. With winds blowing at 150 km an hour, it was virtually impossible to see past the blizzard and storm. Ickapoo yearned for friends and company. Many a time he fiddled with his transistor radio, sending out messages and hoping for a response. He sent fire launchers and rockets into space, hoping that some space traveler would find out about his existence. Ickapoo was an alienated alien. In the same way humans wondered whether we were the only species to inhabit the universe, Ickapoo felt estranged and isolated from the rest of the cosmos. Farhana sat and enjoyed the ice cream she had just bought. She was still unsure about her decision but since she already made the call, she would have to go ahead with the initial plans. If she gets to have a man who will treat her like a princess before her plans are complete then she would readily accept that as a bonus for her hard work. 

A few minutes later, she was joined at the secluded table by two women. On a closer look , one would immediately assume that the two are related due to the beauty that emits from them. The elder one wore a lose white dress and tied a black headscarf to keep her hair covered. Her gorgeous face looked chillingly ethereal due to the coldness that could be easily detected from them. 

Her counterpart was no different. Her expression matched that of the older beauty. She looked like an ice princess whose beauty was enough to cause wars. Her beauty was complimented by her emerald green dress and a matching scarf. Even so, they were both decently dressed and fully covered from head to toe with only their palms and face visible. 

Farhana stood up from her chair and smiled at the two women. For a moment, she envied them. Hafsa was almost as old as her mother but looked younger. She was an accomplished woman who was adored by her husband and children. She was a successful working Muslima who had everything that one could ever ask for but then don't we all want more than we possess ? 

Her eyes moved and lingered a bit longer on Juweyriya. Looking at the girl she befriended in order to get her father off her back, she felt her heart clench in jealous. Juweyriya was not only a beautiful face but had a brilliant mind. She was adored and doted on by her father Jaffar. Unlike her own father Safwan, Jaffar would bring his daughter the stars if she just showed an interest in it. 

Farhana masked her feelings and her initial smile was soon replaced by a cold serious face matching the two women's expression perfectly. The three women got comfortable and started talking about what brought them together. Throughout the conversation, juweyriya's frown increased. 

She was not there out of her own violations. She was forced or rather threatened into being part of the scheme that they were currently working on. She had been traumatized by the image of Humeyra's form tied to the chair, watching her dead family being slaughtered once more. She didn't know the family and was not related to them in any way but she had puked and teared up at the merciless massacre that took place. 

Humeyra's screaming voice had been haunting her ever since that night. She had told her father about her plans but she had no idea who made Humeyra relive those memories. Now, sitting with the two women scheming about her own victim, she felt sad. Why would women hate each other so much such that they enjoyed bringing each other down more than they support each other? 

She was initially blinded by her obsession for Hamdan but then she woke up from her dream. She can easily admit that she is a spoilt brat who got everything she wanted but she had a conscious. She was not a fool. The biggest mistake she made, however was making an innocent woman her target. 

Hafsa and Farhana continued planning and luckily didn't notice juweyriya's misery. Juweyriya was initially against this meeting but was forced to come by her father. He wanted her to be a part of the plan. She had no idea why but she knew that her father hated Humeyra. For what? She didn't know but she was dying to find out. 

Farhana on the other hand was chatting with excitement evident in her eyes. Anything that was done against Humeyra would bring her a pleasure like nothing else. Looking at her cousin's mother-in-law , whose hate for Humeyra was apparent only fed and fueled her resolve to destroy Humeyra. 

An hour passed as the three women came up with a plan. Though she did not directly give suggestions, Juweyriya was forced to listen to the two women as the planned to destroy a life. She felt her guilty conscience knock at her heart. She had already hurt the girl without knowing her and now she is involved in scheming against a happily married couple. 

Hafsa on the other hand was filled with bitterness. The first thing she hated about Humeyra was that she had her Husband's unconditional support and her other worldly beauty did nothing to help her case. The other thing she hated was how she took her eldest son away from her. Her son who was very obedient to her wishes changed after meeting that woman. 

She bewitched him and made him hurt his own mother. To add to that, her other son was forced to leave home after the plan they had formulated to separate Hamdan and Humeyra. This woman simply divided her family. She was fully aware of the almost **** incident that her son Zuneir incited but she blamed Humeyra for it. 

She knew well enough that once Hamdan found out, he would hate his brother forever. This she still believed was Humeyra's fault. She should have not enticed her son with her face. She should not have taken away her most useful son. This thoughts kept going on in her head. 

The three finally agreed on their plans and whom should execute what. Juweyriya was the first to stand up and head out. She have had enough of the two women but of course she didn't say that to their face. She had excused herself in the name of having a meeting. Farhana and Hafsa took their time to enjoy the snacks from the café as they went their separate ways eventually. 

Farhana smiled ." You will never know what hits you girl, "she whispered putting on her shades before heading out.

THE WOMAN'S AWRA 

In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful 

The covering of one’s nakedness (awra) is of utmost importance for a male and female in Islam, thus the Qur’an and Sunnah have laid great emphasis with regards to this. 

Awra is an Arabic term the plural of which is Awrat. Linguistically, it means a hidden and secret place, and a person’s Awra is that which must be kept hidden. It also refers to everything that causes shame when exposed, thus, the Awra of an individual is the area of the body which (normally) causes embarrassment if exposed. (Ibn Manzur, Lisan al-Arab, 9/370). 

In the terminology of Islamic Jurisprudence, Awra refers to the area or part of the body that must be covered with appropriate clothing. In the English language, it is normally translated as ‘nakedness’ or ‘area of the body that must be concealed’. Many people (normally form the Indo/pak) refer to it as ‘Satar’. For the purpose of simplicity, I will use the term ‘Awra’ in this article, Insha Allah. 

Praise be to Allah. 

Firstly: 

The ‘awrah of a woman in front of her mahrams such as her father, brother and nephew is her entire body except that which usually appears such as the face, hair, neck, forearms and feet. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): 

“and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women” 

[al-Noor 24:31]. 

So Allaah has permitted a woman to show her adornment in front of her husband and mahrams. What is meant by adornment is the places where adornments are worn: the place for a ring is the hand, for a bracelet is the forearm, for an earring is the ear, for a necklace is the neck and chest, and for an anklet is the leg. 

Abu Bakr al-Jassaas (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in his Tafseer: The apparent meaning indicates that it is permissible to show one’s adornment to one’s husband and to whose who are also mentioned in the verse, such as fathers etc. It is well known that what is meant is the places where adornments are worn, which are the face, hand and arm… this implies that it is permissible for those who are mentioned in the verse to look at these places, which are the places where hidden adornments are worn, as it says in the beginning of the verse that only outward adornments may be seen by strangers (non-mahrams), but the husband and mahrams are permitted to see hidden adornments. It was narrated from Ibn Mas’ood and al-Zubayr that this refers to earrings, necklaces, bracelets and anklets. 

This applies both to the husband and to the others who are mentioned along with him. The general meaning implies that it is permissible for those who are mentioned to look at the places where these adornments are worn just as it is permissible for the husband. End quote. 

Al-Baghawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: The words of Allaah, may He be exalted, “and not to show off their adornment”, mean that they should not show their adornments to a non-mahram. What is meant here is the hidden adornments, as there are two kinds of adornment, hidden and apparent. Hidden adornments include anklets, henna on the foot, bracelets on the wrist, earrings and necklaces. It is not permissible for a woman to show these, or for a stranger (non-mahram) to look at them. And what is meant by adornment is the place where the adornment is worn. End quote. 

It says in Kashshaaf al-Qinaa’ (5/11): A man may also look at the face, neck, hand, foot, head and calf of a woman who is his mahram. According to this report al-Qaadi said: It is permissible (to look at) that which ordinarily appears such as the head and hands up to the elbows. End quote. 

These mahrams differ in the degree of closeness and risk of fitnah (temptation). Hence a woman may show to her father what she may not show to her husband’s son. Al-Qurtubi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: Allaah mentioned husbands first, then He mentioned mahrams, and described them all as equal with regard to showing the adornment. But they may differ according to what is in their hearts. There is no doubt that for a woman to uncover in front of her father or brother is more safe than to uncover in front of her husband’s son. The extent of what she may show may differ, so she may show to her father that which it is not permissible for her to show to her husband’s son. End quote. 

Secondly: 

What is established among the fuqaha’ is that the ‘awrah of a woman with another woman is the area between the navel and the knee, whether the woman is her mother or sister or is not her mahram. It is not permissible for a woman to look at the area between the navel and the knee of another woman, except in cases of necessity such as medical treatment and the like. 

This does not mean that a woman may sit among other women with all of her body uncovered except the area between the navel and the knee. No one does that except women who are promiscuous and negiligent, or immoral and evildoers. The words of the scholars, “The ‘awrah is the area between the navel and the knee” should not be misunderstood, because this does not mean that this is how women should always dress and show themselves among their sisters and friends. No wise person would accept that and it is not what the fitrah (sound human nature) calls for. 

Rather the way a woman should dress among other women is in clothes that cover properly and express her modesty and dignity. She should not show anything except that which appears when she is working and serving others, such as the head, neck, forearms and feet, as we have mentioned when discussing mahrams above. 

The Standing Committee for Issuing Fatwas has explained what a woman is not permitted to uncover in front of her mahrams and other women. 

We ask Allaah to guide us and you. 

And Allaah knows best.

After running away for some time, Peng Hu and Kai went into an alley to recover their breath and energy.

"Are you okay Pen?"

"Huff... huff.. yeah. I am fine. Thanks for asking. What about you Kai?"

"I am doing fine, but I am worried about the chief. What if they got to her?"

[That better not be true. I still got a bone to pick with her for messing with me. I would not let that shameless person be more shameless than me!]

"We really... should not have taken this quest. That chief better give us a good reward for all the troubles."

"Did we... screw up for not finding the spy early enough?"

"What are you saying Kai..."

Peng Hu wanted to say more but the words won't come out of his mouth. What if Kai was saying the truth and they really messed it up? From today's incident, Peng Hu concluded that there were not just one spy, but many of them! And the casualties were not a small amount. The more he thought about it, the more guilty he felt about it.

[This is bad. I should clear my head up and not let these thoughts rule my mind.]

Peng Hu looked at Kai and saw him holding up his tears. Even though Kai was making a strong face during the adversity, it did not mean that he was a heartless person. It was at this moment of rest where there was time to mourn for friends that they may not see again. An old quote from the old world popped up in Peng Hu's mind: a strong person is not the one who doesn't cry... hm?

[Hm? I think there was more to the quote... Oh well, whatever. I guess I forgot. Anyways, how valiant of Kai... I need to get my act together and analyze the situation calmly.]

[The attack from the enemy came at the moment when there was a heated discussion between Wedge and Biggs. Maybe there is a chance that the ruckus was a way to hide the truth of something. There is also a chance that everything that happened was merely by chance. How troublesome. What started as an easy going quest, became a top quest to be solved.]

"Pen... do you mind... if we go back to my house?"

"? Is there something important in your house?"

"I... I... I have a keepsake that my father left for me. Specifically, it is a diary. I am afraid that if I were to put it in a magic storage, it may get lost into eternity. That is why I keep it outside. It is not comfortable carrying it out around the village so I always leave it in the house."

"I see... does the diary have anything that may help the situation?"

"I don't think so. It is just that... I feel more secure with it."

Peng Hu looked at Kai and saw that Kai was keeping up a strong spirit so as to not falter.

[I guess it's something precious to Kai, something worth protecting huh...]

"Hm... A little sidequest. Why not? Let's go!"

"Really? Thank you so much Pen!"

Having come into a decision on their next step, Peng Hu and Kai left in direction towards Kai's house.

Running away from bullies, Peng Hu accidentally got himself trapped in a dark alley. With nowhere to run, Peng Hu was prepared to take a beating. Suddenly, a heap of trash fell from the sky onto Peng Hu, knocking him out.

Feeling a sharp object on his throat, Peng Hu slowly wakes up and realizes he is in another world.

"Who are you!?"

"Please don't harm me! I'm just... a humble person! "

This is a tale of how Peng Hu becomes the person he wants to be.

'Just this once,' Devin thought, not having the intention to pull away. 'Let time stop and allow me to be with her...'
Devin never actually thought of being in love before. To him, falling in love is something funny--something that he never thought of experiencing until now.
Like he told his brother, Levin, Love's Overseer, Devin thought that being in love is like being bewitched--something that is not realistic because it makes people stupid.
But now, he understood why love is such and that love is not actually a bad thing.
Some call it bewitched, but now the Soul Eater calls it love.

Which is why everytime he saw in Angeal's eyes the feelings of his heart, he became more assured of himself that he loves her deeply, madly, and truly.
And if that isn't magic, then Devin cannot say what is.
It made Devin think of the quote from Angela Abraham about love. He once passed by it when he was surfing the net and when he read it the first time, he cringed as if it was codswallop. 
However, his eidetic or photographic memory allowed him to remember it as if he had seen the quote by Angela Abraham just now.
Love is sweet, yet more as fresh fruit than candy or confectionary. Love is colourful, yet more as summer blooms than the neon lights of frenetic city streets.

Angeal called out his name, snapping the Soul Eater out of his thoughts. She then held his face, her eyebrows furrowed as her thumb caressed his cheek.
"Devin... look at you. Were you coughing out blood again?"
She didn't care if she wiped the blood from the corner of Devin's lips with her thumb.
She grew worried about him by the second, remembering how this weakened him a year ago and he may feel the same now.
Her eyes pooled tears again, looking at Devin as she saw the weariness and at the same time, sadness in his eyes.
"That expression again! You're like the man I saw a year ago. Those sad eyes... why--"
But what Devin did interrupted Angeal, making her stop mid-sentence.
He held Angeal's hand that was touching his face, his eyebrows creasing as he looked straight in Angeal's eyes.
"Why are you so worried about me when I'm the one worried about you?"
Angeal blinked her eyes once and asked, "What?"
Before answering her question, Devin wiped Angeal's tears away with his thumbs. Both of his hands held her face, gently touching her as if he was afraid to hurt her. 
"You're the one who's heartbroken. You're the one who was betrayed by people you trust. Yet you come here worried for me when people should be the one worried for you?"
Angeal shook her head. It didn't matter to her about the situation that she was in. When she heard that Devin is in a rampage, she worried about the safety of the others, the immortals, and also Arlo. 
But then, she was also worried about Devin.
She remembered how he struggled a year ago to control himself just so he could not hurt both her and Gladios.
She remembered how desperate and sad his eyes looked, not wanting to be out of control just because of his hunger around humans.
Now that Devin is more in control of himself, Angeal became curious as to why he lost his control. 
She may have predicted that it was because of her crying, but could that be the only sole reason why?
"Devin... why?"
Angeal asked, Devin now letting go of her face as his hands landed on her shoulders. 
"Why did you suddenly lose your control? Why did you target Arlo? I mean... I know you're angry that he cheated on me, but--"
"Do you really need me to point it out?"
Devin interrupted, Angeal, still looking up at him because of their slightly big height difference. 
Angeal nodded to answer his question, Devin, holding her face once more as his thumb caressed her left cheek.
He then spoke, making Angeal furrow her brows as she did not understand what he said since he seemed to speak in another language that she didn't understand.
"Perché sei l'amore della mia vita, Angeal. Perché non devo fare nulla al riguardo?"
Angeal furrowed her brows, not even understanding a single word that he said! Devin just gave her a small smile, making Angeal pout as she requested him to tell her what it means.
"How should I even understand that? Tell me what it means."
Devin shook his head, a soft chuckle coming from him as he now wrapped Angeal in his arms, surprising her with his sudden show of affection. 
"Learn Italian. And you'll know."
With Devin staying in the human world for too long, he had already learned the languages he could while staying in the library for too long! 
"What?" Angeal arched a brow at him, "Tell me again and I'll Google translate later."
Devin chuckled again, "No. You'll never hear it again."
Angeal puffed her cheeks as she narrowed her eyes at him, finding his unusual playfulness something unexpected right at this serious situation.
Devin smiled as he pinched Angeal's cheek slightly, the meaning of what he said in Italian, lingering in his mind as he stared lovingly straight into Angeal's eyes.
'Because you're the love of my life, Angeal. Why must I not do anything about it?'


"Devin, do you love me?"

Hearing her question that had snapped him out of his thoughts, the Soul Eater opened his eyes slowly to meet her blue eyes once more. He smiled foolishly as his right hand reached out to her face, his thumb caressing her bottom lip.

"Is that a question you dare ask your husband?"

Angeal pouted like a child. 

"Tell me you love me... or I’ll cry."

Devin chuckled, making Angeal pout more as she narrowed her eyes at him. When Devin ceased his jovial laughter, he didn’t answer her question. Instead, he bent down as he pulled her closer to him, his lips smoothly landing on hers to give her a loving kiss. 

’I love you, Angeal. Before I even knew it, my heart yearned for you.’

Punished by the Almighty Seraphim, Devin was branded a fallen angel and was given a curse to become a Soul Eater—a being who is hungry for souls and feeds on them for sustenance.
