Menyambut paginya dengan suasana berbeda lebih terasa membuatnya nyaman dibanding berada di rumah sakit, jam enam pagi ia sudah rapi, mencuci muka dibantu oleh adiknya. Menjadi orang lumpuh hanya akan membuat Erik benci, ia hanya bisa merepotkan orang lain yang sebenarnya mereka perlu mengurusi diri mereka. Erik membuka gorden apartemen yang menembus langsung jalanan, apartemen ini milik adiknya— jika Erik tidak seperti ini biasanya ia akan tinggal di rumah orang tuanya, akan melihat Fre seminggu sekali untuk memastikan keadaan. 

"Minum dulu susu tulangnya, rekomendasi dari dokter Teddy," 

Erik menerima satu gelas susu. "Rasanya pasti tidak enak," 

"Jangan seperti anak kecil, cepat minum!" suruh Fre 

Erik menuruti. Selama ini sama sekali tidak pernah menikmati susu kalau boleh lebih memilih minum kopi, demi sembuhnya ia pun terpaksa. Antara Fre dan Erik terbilang sangat dekat meski tak serumah, dulu orang pertama yang mengurus Fre sakit adalah dirinya, sama halnya sekarang Fre juga mengurusi Erik. 

"Bang, aku kalau lihat Gendis suka mau nangis kenapa ya?" 

Erik menaruh gelasnya di atas meja. "Sayang kali," sahut Erik 

"Sayang sebagai adik bukan yang lain, semangatnya dia itu patut dicontoh. Selama dia kuliah, pembayaran uang kuliah jarang minta sama orang tua, aku terharu ..." 

Erik mengangguk-angguk. Dari banyaknya perempuan yang ia temui, Gendis berbeda selama kebersamaan mereka di rumah sakit yang Erik tahu sama persis yang Fre ucapkan barusan. Kuliah tanpa membebani orang tua terlalu banyak, pernah jualan online shop— menjadi reseller, pernah bekerja di rumah makan dari pulang kuliah sampai malam. Erik yakin gajinya tak seberapa dibanding Gendis bekerja di sini. 

"Dekat sama Gendis kali aja bisa membuat Abang melupakan Anara," 

"Jangan bahas Anara, aku sudah melupakannya." sahut Erik. Erik mengambil ponselnya, hari ini Gendis akan datang sore karena pagi ada kelas. Ada satu pesan dari Gendis, Erik segera membacanya. 

Mas, hari ini izin tidak bekerja. Ibu dan Bapak, dua adikku meninggal. Maaf Mas  😭😭

Napas Erik tercekat, kembali membaca isi pesan baik-baik. Erik mencoba menelepon Gendis sayangnya tidak diangkat. 

"Fredella ..." panggil Erik 

Tak lama kemudian Fre mendekati Erik, Erik memberikan ponselnya. Sama halnya dengan Erik— Fre terkejut, menutup mulutnya seolah tak percaya dengan berita pagi ini. 

"Ya ampun ... Kok bisa?" 

"Kamu tahu rumah Gendis?" 

Fre menggeleng.

"Tanya Mas Angga,"  

Menunggu Fre menelepon Anggara— Erik memilih terus menghubungi Gendis, andai ia bisa lari, bisa jalan sudah mencari sendiri rumah Gendis lalu memastikan keadaan perempuan itu. Kemarin Gendis baru saja menceritakan tentang ibunya, selama ini Gendis tidak pernah bercerita apapun tentang keluarganya. 

"Fre lama sekali," teriak Erik. Menghubungi tak kunjung mendapatkan jawaban, ia ingin segera datang. 

"Bentar, Mas Angga belum angkat," 

Erik berdecak kesal, bisa-bisanya Anggara lama sekali mengangkat telepon.

"Sudah, aku panggil Mas Axel dulu. Biar dia yang mengantar,"

Erik hanya menuruti tanpa protes, saat ini ia ingin segera ke tempat Gendis.

Bendera kuning terpampang tepat di depan mata, tidak bohong dan semakin terkejut meski suasan rumah sudah mulai sepi. Setelah berkali-kali bertanya pada Fre— Fre mengatakan benar ini rumah Gendis. Mereka disambut oleh keluarga Gendis, wajah mereka terlihat bengkak, aura kesedihan terasa sekali di rumah ini. Mereka juga menjelaskan bos dari Gendis membuat keluarga Gendis langsung membawa ke dalam rumah. 

"Gendis ada?" tanya Erik 

"Gendis di kamarnya Mas, belum mau bangun. Pingsan terus," jawab perempuan paru baya 

"Jadi benar keluarganya meninggal?" 

Perempuan paru baya mengusap air matanya sebelum kembali menjawab pertanyaan Erik, masih belum sanggup bercerita tapi sudah pantasnya mereka kenyataan. "Iya benar," 

Erik mengangguk paham, berat sekali jadi Gendis— gadis itu kini menjadi sebatang kara, Erik belum mau bertanya padahal ia sangat penasaran. Mencoba memahami kondisi yang kurang tepat. 

"Sekitar jam tiga sore ibu sama dua adiknya sedang membersihkan warung makan mereka, tiba-tiba ada mobil dari arah lain menabrak warung makan mereka, menghantam mereka bertiga. Ketiganya meninggal di tempat dan supir mobil meninggal di tempat ternyata sedang mabuk, di dalam mobil ada alkohol. Kalau bapaknya Gendis kena serangan jantung, kaget lihat istri dan anaknya nggak ada semua. Pingsan terus nggak ada, singkat sekali waktunya," jelas wanita paru baya itu sembari terisak. 

Erik masih terdiam, bingung, tak menyangka, mengapa bisa takdir memberikan cobaan ini pada Gendis. "Terima kasih sudah menjelaskan, Bu," ucap Erik. Di dalam rumah Gendis tak ada lagi jenazah keluarga Gendis katanya sudah disemayamkan jam setengah tujuh pagi tadi, Gendis tidak ikut karena terus pingsan. Erik mengerti, ditinggal orang yang kita sayangi sangat berat melebihi cobaan lain. 

Entah sudah berapa kali ia menelan sliva, mengembuskan napas. Ikut sesak, meski ini bukan keluarganya. Erik dan Fre meminta izin untuk melihat keadaan Gendis, untungnya langsung diperbolehkan. 

"Aku tidak tahu bisakah sekuat Gendis jika ditinggalkan keluarga, ditinggalkan sosok papa sudah sangat melukai hati," ucap Fre disela-sela langkah mereka menuju kamar Gendis sembari mendorong kursi roda.

"Itulah pentingnya memberikan waktu bersama keluarga, kalian harus sering kumpul. Waktu itu penting, ketika salah satu dari kalian nggak ada maka kalian tidak bisa mengulang waktu yang harusnya menjadi waktu untuk mengisi kebersamaan," sahut Axel— tunangan dari Fre 

"Aku jadi ingat mama," 

Erik mendengar ucapan Axel, benar ucapan pria itu. Dan setelah ini Erik akan menelepon mamanya, sudah lama mereka tidak bercengkrama. 

Suara isakan mulai terdengar tepat saat pintu berhasil di buka, Gendis berbaring di ranjang sederhana miliknya. Selimut menutup tubuh mungil Gendis, Erik merasa kehilangan keceriaan Gendis, sifat cerewet yang terkadang membuat Erik kesal tapi ia suka. Hanya ada tangisan bahkan saat ia dan Fre masuk hanya menoleh tanpa mengatakan kata-kata. 

"Ndis ..." Fre mulai memanggil sedangkan Erik hanya diam. 

"Mbak, jangan pecat aku ya, maaf hari ini nggak mas—"

"Ndis jangan bicara begitu, saya nggak akan mecat kamu. Turut berduka cita ya, yang sabar ..." Fre mengusap bahu Gendis. Gendis hendak bangkit tapi Fre menyuruh untuk tiduran saja. 

"Ibu, bapak, dua adikku sudah nggak ada Mbak, aku sebatang kara ..." isak Gendis

"Nggak Ndis, ada saya di sini, kamu nggak sendiri ..." 

"Hidupku kenapa begini Mbak, kenapa ibu sama bapak ninggalin Gendis sendirian? Kenapa nyawaku nggak sekalian diambil juga? Hancur hidupku, Mbak ..." Gendis memaksakan untuk bangkit. 

Fre semakin tak tega, membawa Gendis ke dalam pelukannya. Mengusap punggungnya, Fre janji setelah ini jika diperbolehkan lalu Gendis menyetujui Fre akan membawa gadis ini ke apartemen untuk tinggal bersama, ia akan berbicara dengan Axel dan Erik. Fre yakin calon suaminya pasti mau membiayai kebutuhan Gendis. 

Erik yang semula menunduk berubah mendongak, ia menjadi pria cengeng nampaknya mendengar ucapan Gendis matanya ikut berkaca-kaca. Erik mendekatkan kursi roda agar tangan Gendis bisa ia gapai dan berhasil ia lakukan. "Ndis ... Kamu nggak sendiri, ada saya, Fre, Mas Anggara dan Axel. Kita semua akan menjagamu ..." ucap Erik tulus

Hari ini Freya mulai kembali lagi bekerja. pagi itu ia diantar Kevan kekantor karena Kevan tidak mengijinkan kan Freya membawa kendaraan sendiri kecuali dengan sopir.

" turun disini saja ya, sayang. nanti pulangnya tidak apa-apa kan kalau naik taksi ? untuk beberapa hari saja karena aku lagi sibuk dengan urusan dirumah sakit. jadi kemungkinan tidak ke kantor papa."
ucap Kevan mengerem mobilnya tepat didepan gedung kantor.

Freya pun mengangguk sambil membuka safety belt nya, lalu mengecup bibir Kevan sekilas dan keluar dari mobil.

" oke. kamu hati-hati ya."
balas Freya.

akhirnya mobil Kevan pun melaju dan menghilang dari pandangan Freya yang masih berdiri mematung mengamati suaminya pergi.
tak lama kemudian mobil James datang.

" welcome back, my daughter."
ucap James seraya mengecup puncak kepala Freya.
aunty Larry hanya tersenyum yang berdiri dibelakang James.

" thank you, pa. i love you."
balas Freya memeluk James. rasanya sudah lama sekali tidak bermanja-manja dengan Shofi dan James sejak dirinya menikah. bahkan bertemu pun jarang.

" Fre, jaga sikapmu !! ini dikantor bukan dirumah."
ucap Larry.

Freya akhirnya terpaksa melepaskan pelukannya pada James.

" oiya aunty, thanks a lot for help me."
ucap Freya pada Larry. ia hanya membalas dengan senyuman sekilas seperti biasanya.

akhirnya mereka bertiga pun berjalan beriringan memasuki gedung kantor. para pegawai yang melihatnya hanya menundukkan kepalanya sekilas sambil melemparkan senyuman.

James memang dikenal sebagai Presdir yang ramah dan baik hati kepada para pegawai nya. ia tidak pernah membeda-bedakan status atau kasta seseorang. namun ia tetap bisa menjaga wibawanya sebagai pemimpin, sehingga tetap disegani oleh semua orang terutama seluruh pegawainya.

" welcome back, Freya. "
ucap kawan satu tim diruangannya. ada Emily, Thomas, Jessie, dan Brian.

" thanks a lot, guys."
jawab Freya kembali menemukan semangat baru dalam hidupnya.

bukan berarti setelah menikah menjadi tidak semangat, hanya saja ia sering merasa bosan setiap hari dirumah seharian menunggu sampai Kevan pulang.

" Fre, sepertinya kita harus merayakan kedatangan mu ini. bagaimana jika nanti pulang kerja kita ngopi ?"
ucap Emily.

" kau mau mentraktir ku? "
tanya Freya.

" kok aku ? ya kamu lah, Fre. "

Freya mengernyitkan dahinya.
" bukannya kamu yang punya ide ini? "

" tapi kau ini kan istri CEO, tidak malu meminta traktiran dari staffnya. "

" tidak. kan yang CEO suamiku. dan aku ? aku cuma staf biasa sama seperti kalian."
balas Freya tak mau kalah.

Emily hanya mendengus kesal. dan Freya pun tertawa melihat tingkah Emily.

" oke Emily, kali ini kau menang. aku akan mentraktir kalian semua nanti sepulang jam kantor. tapi aku harus ijin dulu tentunya."
ucap Freya. dan Emily nampak sumringah.

" benarkah itu, Fre ?"
tanya Jessie kemudian.

" oke, ku tunggu janji mu itu."
balas Thomas dibalik layar komputer nya.

mereka pun kembali dengan pekerjaannya masing-masing. dan Freya disela-sela kesibukannya mengirim chat pada Kevan untuk meminta ijin akan pulang terlambat karena akan mentraktir teman-temannya.

sore itu dengan menggunakan mobil Thomas, mereka sepakat pergi ke sebuah coffe shop yang cukup terkenal dikota ini. 'Shoe Lane coffee' dibilangan Tara street.
keempatnya memesan Espresso dan cemilan ringan untuk menemani obrolannya.

" Tuan Kevan sekarang jarang sekali ke kantor ya."
tanya Thomas.

" mungkin dirumah sakit sedang banyak pasien."
jawab Emily sambil menyeruput kopinya.

" kenapa tidak kau saja yang menggantikan posisinya dikantor? sama saja kan."
ucap Jessie memandang Freya.

bola mata Freya langsung melotot.
" aku ? jadi CEO ? no, Jessie."

" jangan mau Fre, lagian masih ada Mr.James sebagai presdir dikantor. jadi tidak masalah kalau CEO jarang ada dikantornya."
ucap Emily.

" aku permisi ke toilet dulu. "
ucap Jessie beranjak dari tempat duduknya.

" tunggu, Jessie. aku ikut denganmu sekalian."
sergah Freya yang dari tadi memang sudah menahan urinenya itu.

Freya dan Jessie berjalan ke arah toilet yang berada dipojokan sebelah ruang VIP yang biasa dipesan oleh orang-orang dari kalangan atas hanya untuk meminum coffee.

" hey, bukankan itu tuan Kevan ?"
tunjuk Jessie ke arah salah satu meja diruang VIP itu.
Freya terhenti dan kaget. ia berusaha membuka matanya lebar-lebar untuk memastikan penglihatan Jessie.
dan Freya berhasil menangkap sosok suaminya tengah duduk berhadapan dengan seorang wanita berambut pirang yang wajahnya tidak bisa Freya lihat karena posisinya yang membelakanginya.

" ini jam berapa, Jes ?"
tanya Freya tak memindahkan pandangan matanya itu. Jessie langsung melirik ke arah jam tangan yang dipakainya.

" jam tujuh kurang lima belas menit."
jam Jessie

Freya teringat tadi Kevan mengatakan ada jadwal operasi jam tujuh. rasanya tidak mungkin ada operasi jam tujuh tapi jam segini masih ngopi ditempat ini. mengingat jarak jari sini ke rumah sakit cukup jauh, butuh waktu sekitar setengah jam.

Garis wajah Freya tampak kecewa. tetapi ia tidak mau berburuk sangka terlebih dulu.

" apa kau tidak menemui tuan Kevan ?"
tanya Jessie kemudian.

Freya menggeleng, lalu melanjutkan langkahnya menuju ke arah meja yang tadi dipesan bersama ketiga temannya.

" Fre, apa kau sakit ? kenapa wajahmu tiba-tiba pucat ?"
kata Thomas yang sejak tadi memperhatikan sikap Freya berubah sejak dari toilet.

Jessie yang sebenarnya sudah tau alasannya, tapi ia tidak berani menceritakan kepada Thomas dan Emily atas permintaan Freya yang berbisik kepadanya ketika dijalan.

" tidak, Thomas. mungkin aku hanya kelelahan saja."
balas Freya berbohong.

" kalau gitu lebih baik kita pulang sekarang."
ajak Emily.

"baiklah, aku akan mengantar kalian semua."
jawab Thomas.

Selama diperjalanan Freya lebih banyak diam. matanya mulai memerah karena menahan cairan bening yang hendak keluar dari ujung matanya. Freya langsung mengusapnya dengan kasar.

namun Jessie yang duduk disebelah melihatnya. ia lalu mengusap-usap bahu Freya tanpa berkata. kebetulan Freya dan Jessie duduk di kursi belakang jadi Emily dan Thomas tidak menyadari nya.

sesekali Freya melihat ponselnya berharap Kevan menelpon atau mengirim pesan. namun nihil.

" ah, mungkin ia sedang sibuk dengan wanita itu."
lirihnya dalam hatinya sedih.

Bryan tertawa pelan mendengarnya. "Hei sayang, pria menyebalkan ini suami mu lho." Godanya.

Sasya pikir setelah menghadiri pemakaman sang ayah, Sasya memutuskan kembali pulang ke mansion. Bryan sendiri yang menjemput dirinya tadi.
Ia tidak ingin kembali ke kediaman keluarga Alvaro. Ia pasti akan bertemu dengan Rose, mama tirinya.
Kini mereka telah sampai di rumah. Sasya segera turun dari mobil, lalu masuk kedalam. Bryan menyusul setelahnya.

Sebelah alisnya mengerut melihat jam di dinding. Sasya menoleh kearah suaminya. "Fredrik belum pulang sayang?"tanyanya.

Bryan menggeleng, pria itu berjalan melewati istrinya. "Tadi Fredrik telpon, katanya ada les hari ini."

"Kamu gak perlu khawatir sayang, aku sudah menyuruh Gladys untuk menunggu Fredrik disekolah." 

"Semakin hari semakin sibuk saja dia." Gumam Sasya lirih. 
"Aku jadi merasa kasihan sama Fredrik." Kini wajah ibu muda itu terlihat murung.

Bryan menoleh pada istrinya. "Jangan bilang kamu merasa kesepian?" 

Sasya mengangguk menyetujui ucapan suaminya, ibu muda itu terlihat bosan. "Ya, habisnya kalian mempunyai kesibukan sendiri sih." 

Pria itu merangkul bahu istrinya, kemudian berbisik.
"Bikin anak lagi yuk?" 

Reflek Sasya menampar wajah Bryan. Walaupun hanya main-main. "Kamu ini.."

Bryan memasang wajah cemberut, pria itu mencuri ciuman dipipi Sasya. "Kamu gak mau punya anak lagi hm?" Tanya Bryan dengan nada lirih.

Sasya memegang lengan suaminya. Ada rasa sakit ketika Bryan berekspresi sedih seperti ini. "Bukannya tidak mau, tapi aku takut gak bisa adil sama anak-anakku nanti." Jawab Sasya dengan jujur, ibu muda tersebut melepaskan pelukan suaminya. 
Berjalan dengan langkah gontai menuju kamar. Pikiran Sasya berkecamuk, ia agak sensitif jika membahas soal anak lagi.

Melihat istrinya yang kembali murung, Bryan menghela nafas. Mungkin ia akan bicara nanti.
Bryan memutar langkahnya menuju ruang kerja. Mungkin saat ini Sasya butuh waktu untuk sendiri. Bryan sangat memahaminya. 

Apalagi hari ini begitu berat yang dijalani Sasya, Ayahnya baru saja meninggal. Mungkin istrinya itu agak kehilangan sosok ayah, meski Sasya tidak pernah membicarakan soal ayahnya. 
Tapi Bryan tahu, setiap orang pasti ingin memiliki orang tua yang lengkap dan keluarga yang bahagia.

Karena latar belakang masa lalu, membuat mereka jadi kaku. Keluarga Alvaro yang tidak harmonis sedangkan dirinya tidak memiliki orang tua.
Karena itu, Bryan berusaha keras agar bisa menjadi pria yang baik, ayah yang baik untuk anaknya. Dan suami yang bisa mengayomi istrinya.

Karena bukan  Sasya, tapi ia juga memiliki masa lalu yang buruk. Maka dari itu Bryan tidak ingin kehilangan istri dan anaknya. Pria itu sudah mempertahankan apa yang ia punya, dan seterusnya akan terus begitu.

Bryan menghubungi Farrel. "Tolong siapkan berkas untuk besok."

"Baik tuan." Jawab Farrel diseberang telepon.

Bryan mematikan sambungan teleponnya. Lalu duduk dikursi, tangannya membuka laptop. Ia memutuskan akan lembur hari ini.

Sasya merebahkan dirinya di kasur, ia tau kesalahan dirinya berada dimana. 
Hanya saja, saat Bryan membuka topik soal anak kedua. 
Sasya menjadi lebih sensitif, mengingat masa lalunya yang kelam.

Dimana dirinya selalu dibedakan oleh sang ayah, dan dirinya diabaikan keberadaannya.
Sasya menghela nafas kasar. Mungkin ia akan meminta maaf pada Bryan nanti. Tidak seharusnya ia bersikap seperti itu pada suaminya sendiri. Bagaimana pun, Bryan selama ini selalu bersikap lembut terhadapnya.

"Bunda!" Teriak Fredrik ketika memasuki kamar orang tuanya.

Sasya berjengit. Ia sontak bangkit dari acara rebahannya. Ia tersenyum melihat Fredrik menghampirinya. 
"Duhh... anak tampan Bunda sudah pulang." Sasya memeluk putra semata wayangnya, mencium pipi gembil Fredrik bergantian.

"Bundaa.. hahaaa.. geli ih bundaa.." Fredrik tertawa karena geli.

Sasya mencubit gemas pipi Fredrik. "Bagaimana tadi sekolah? Apakah harimu menyenangkan?" 

Fredrik berbinar senang. "Tentu saja bunda, saat aku pergi ke sekolah. Aku merasa senang karena disana banyak teman!" Ujarnya dengan nada riang. 

Sasya terkekeh mendengar cerita anaknya.  Ia jadi teringat masa kecilnya dulu, memang tidak terlalu baik dirumah. Tapi Sasya akan menjadi pribadi yang berbeda ketika di lingkungan sekolah.
"Wah.. sangat menyenangkan yah." Gumam Sasya.

"Umn! Tentu Bunda... " Fredrik terdiam, pemuda kecil itu menyadari perubahan mood sang bunda. 
Fredrik merangkak naik ke ranjang, ia memeluk sang bunda.
"Bunda kenapa sedih?" Tanya Fredrik perhatian.

Sasya membalas pelukan Fredrik. "Bunda nggak sedih sayang, bunda cuma lagi ada pikiran." 

"Hum? Bunda mikirin apa? Fre boleh tau gak bunda?" Tanya Fredrik beruntun. Sasya menggelengkan kepalanya lemah.
"Anak kecil gak boleh tau sayang, ini urusan orang dewasa.." jawab Sasya dengan nada lembut.

Fredrik mengembungkan pipi, pertanda bocah itu kesal.
"Baiklah kalo bunda lagi sedih. Sini aku buat bunda bahagia." Fredrik menarik pelan tangan Sasya. Membawa sang bunda keluar dari kamar.

Sasya menuruti putra semata wayangnya. "Kita mau kemana sayang? Hei pelan-pelan!"

"AYAH!!" teriak Fredrik lantang sambil menggandeng sang bunda masuk kedalam.

Bryan terkejut, pria itu terlihat mengusap dadanya. "Kenapa sayang?" Tanyanya dengan nada lembut.

"Bunda tadi bilang kalo bunda lagi sedih ayah." Jawab Fredrik dengan nada sedih pula.

Bryan dan Sasya saling menatap sebentar, sebelum Bryan membereskan pekerjaannya. "Bunda sedih kenapa?" 

Fredrik mendongak menatap sang bunda, kepala bocah laki-laki itu menggeleng. "Fre gak tau yah, bantu Fre buat bunda senang lagi. Fre gak mau liat bunda sedih ayah." 

Bryan dan Sasya tersenyum, Bryan berinisiatif menggendong putranya. "Kalo gitu, tanya sama bunda. Kenapa bunda sedih?" 

Fredrik mengembungkan pipinya kesal. "Fre udah nanya tadi Ayah, kata bunda tadi. Fre gak boleh tau, ini urusan orang dewasa." Fredrik menatap wajah sang ayah. "Ayah, urusan orang dewasa itu apa?"tanyanya dengan nada polos.

Bryan berdehem sebentar. Pria itu membawa Fredrik ke pinggir jendela. Melihat pemandangan luar. 
"Kalau bunda sudah bilang begitu, berarti kamu nggak boleh tau Fre."

Bryan menghela nafas, pasti ini karena permintaannya tadi siang.
"Suatu saat, Fre pasti mengerti kalau sudah dewasa." Ujar Bryan kalem.

Fredrik cemberut, ia tidak puas dengan jawaban dari sang ayah. Lain kali ia akan menanyakannya pada Farrel, paman mata empatnya itu kan sangat pintar.

Fredrik meringkuk pada dekapan ayahnya. Matanya mulai memerah. "Ayah..." panggilnya pada Bryan.

"Hm?"

"Aku sudah mengantuk, tapi perutku lapar." Fredrik memeluk leher sang papa.


"Jadi, Fre mau tidur atau makan dulu hm?"
Bryan mengusap rambut putranya.
Anaknya ini benar-benar seperti dirinya, semuanya sama. Hanya saja, pipi Fredrik lebih gembil dibanding dengannya dulu.

"Mending kita makan dulu, terus tidur." Ujar Sasya tiba-tiba. Mood Sasya kembali membaik saat melihat interaksi Bryan dengan Fredrik.

"HOREEEE!!"  Sasya tertawa kecil melihat putranya kembali bersemangat.

Sejak kecelakaan itu terjadi.. Seiring berjalannya waktu hidup Sasya berubah.
Sasya tak memikirkan lagi masa lalunya! 

Karena Sasya tak bisa mengingat semuanya. Karena jika Sasya mengingat hal itu. Hanya akan menambah luka di hatinya!

While unpacking, Rowan heard an unpleasant voice from behind her say, "Hey freak." 

Rowan turns around to face the sour-faced Petunia with light hair and pale eyes. Petunia widens her eyes at recognizing Rowan. "Sorry, that wasn't intended for you to hear."

"Even if that was for Lily that is still quite ill-mannered on your part, Petunia," Rowan chided as Petunia blushed in humiliation. 

"Well, she deserves it," Petunia grumbled not feeling very repentant anymore.

Rowan merely raised an eyebrow and said, "Does she have tentacles?"

"What ick, no!"

"How about a tail?"

"No!"

"Turns into a man every third Wednesday of the month?"

".... No, and that is strangely specific."

"What about any other anomalies?"

"No."

"Then she's not a freak according to the dictionary because that particular word only applies to one who behaves or is behaving in a wild and irrational manner, typically due to extreme emotion, mental illness or drugs. Nor is she any way some sort of monster or strange outer-worldly being," Rowan confidently countered.

 "As such, Lily might be a bit weird even strange, but most certainly not a freak. Might I suggest oddball might be the proper term you've looking for."

Petunia gapes like a fish for a moment, before saying, "You're still the same as I remember, Rowan, a know it all."

"Ah, but you forget, I also have a rather violent streak," Rowan said as she took a step towards Petunia, who instantly took a step back.

"You used to get into fights with the older boys," Petunia warily said as she folded her arms over her chest rather defensively.

"Yes, well, they used to try to mess with Severus," Rowan said with a shrug. "I couldn't very well allow them to harm, my precious younger brother."

Petunia snorts and says, "So, are you going to that fre-, that magical school too?"

"Yes, as is Severus."

"Oh, I knew that fre-, that terror would get in too."

"There's no reason to be jealous, Petunia," Rowan said causing Petunia to turn purple in anger and embarrassment.

"I'm not!" Petunia sputtered. "You couldn't pay me to go there!"

"Mm, that's not what you said to Dumbledore," Rowan said causing Petunia to pale.

"How, how do you now that?" Petunia stammered with fear and disbelief.

"I suppose a freaky talent of mine as you would so incorrect put it," Rowan mused out loud. 
"However, that being the case, I don't understand why you care so much. It's not as though it is all cut out to be."

"Of course, you'd say that," Petunia snapped as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Name one thing that goes wrong in your fairytale world."

"The wizarding world through progressive in some ways is very much antiquated in other ways," Rowan grumbled. "The wizards and witches still dress like it was still the Victorian era."

"Really? What else?" Petunia curiously asked with narrow eyes full of misgivings.

 "A friend of mine in our second year was told that her parents had signed a marriage contract that would come into effect upon her graduating Hogwarts. How's that for being too young to be engaged?" Rowan drily said upon thinking of Tiffany's situation.

"Isn't that illegal!?" Petunia bellowed in utter horror.

"Not in the Victorian era of the wizarding world. Nor does magic solve everything," Rowan wryly muttered. "And besides I'd think that you'd be much more enthusiastic about the era you are living in, Petunia. I don't mean to sound a bit of a Feminist, but this is an era, where women can be anything, they want to be from a CEO to an airplane pilot, a doctor, etc. The question is what do you want to be?

Petunia flushes and glances away. "I'm not much good anything beyond becoming a housewife."

"There's nothing wrong with becoming a housewife, if that's what you truly want. But why not try to become a pastry chef? I've heard from Lily that your pudding is most excellent and that she envies your talent as she can't even make anything beyond scrambled eggs and toast," Rowan not so subtly suggested.

"Really?" Petunia seemed intrigued at the idea that Lily might be jealous of her for so something so trivial.

"Swear on Scouts honor," Rowan said as she held her hand up in the scout's pledge. Not that it would do Petunia any good as Rowan wasn't a scout, to begin with.

Before Petunia can say anything else the phone begins to ring. It is quickly answered, before Mrs. Evans shouts from downstairs, "Petunia, one of your friends on the phone."

"I'll see you later," Petunia said as she rushed over to her room and jumped on her bed. On her bed, there was a bright pink cord phone connected to the pink phone receiver. "Hello?"

Rowan didn't hear the rest of the conversation as she headed downstairs and only heard vague ramblings from the teenage girl. Mrs. Evans was the kitchen preparing a light meal when Rowan crossed the living room. "Feel free to have a seat dear, and watch some Telly if you would like," Mrs. Evans remarked as she battered some dough on the counter that would be used to cover the potpie, she'd be serving for dinner.

"I will watch a bit of Doctor-Who later," Rowan replied. "But thank you, Mrs. Evans, I think I'll read for a bit." On that note, the fourth Doctor should be on right now. The first three were alright, but the fourth Doctor was rather interesting to watch as he was the longest-running doctor until 1978.

Standing before the bookshelf Rowan skimmed through the titles before finding one of her favorite fantasy series. She had plenty of series she'd like to read but as half of them wouldn't be written for some time, she'd have to stick to the classics. Taking the hardback book, she scooted into an armchair and began to read.

"In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort-."

Soon Rowan was lost on Bilbo's journey until Mrs. Evans said, "Lunchtime!" The sound of a door slamming could clearly be heard from Petunia in response. 

Glancing around Rowan asks, "Where's Lily and Severus?" Before taking a seat at the kitchen table.

"They went to play outside," Mrs. Evans said as she placed a neat plate of sandwiches before her with a bowl of crisps and cut up fruit. Grabbing the pitcher of ice-cold lemonade off the counter, she pours Rowan a cup, before placing the pitcher on the kitchen table.

"Aren't you going to have a bite, Mrs. Evans?" Rowan asked as she took a mouthful of her sandwich. 

"I already ate one, dear," Mrs. Evans said as she wiped her hands on her apron. Heading out of the kitchen, Mrs. Evans opens the door and shouts, "Lily and Severus, lunch is ready!" 

Mrs. Evans closes the door lest the cool air escape, but not long after the two flushing figures can be seen running inside. "Now have a bite to eat dears, or you won't be allowed outside until you do."

"Mum!" Lily said in embarrassment as she glanced at her mother.

Mrs. Evans ignored her daughter's embarrassed look and placed two kitchen plates on the table. "Now at least eat something and drink plenty of Lemonade! Or else, both of you might faint from this infernal heat."

"Yes, Mrs. Evans," Severus dutifully said as he sat down and grabbed a sandwich. Lily was too embarrassed to say anything as she sulkily grabbed a sandwich and began to slowly chew.

Mrs. Evans sure that all was right in the world opened the fridge to check on the Fruit Fool. It was a simple dessert made up of custard with whipped cream and fruit. It'd do quite nicely after a long day of work and not to be heavy on their stomachs after dinner. Just perfect for this ongoing hot weather, they were having. With a smile on her face, she went back to rolling the dough one last time, before placing it on the chicken pot pie and into the oven it went. It felt quite good to be a housewife at times like these. And that was something to be rightly proud of.

I am a old cat guy I can do things that 20 year olds can do and I call myself a meme lord because at anytime i will just say a random meme. Can I get a waffle can I please get a waffle! I yell this is fun then I came across a place called del taco and what is that? On their sign it says fre sha vacado hmmm I know! Come down to del taco they got this new thing called..fre..fre sha vacado I yell well Ima right this down there we go I say to myself I wonder what's up in the forest I walk into the forest ooh 2 werewolf's a vampire a golden bear and a fox...wait a fox with 9 tails I whisper I look in my research book hmmm I knew it it is a demon fox she has white fur but I don't see it I whisper  who is that! The bear yells oh crap I got caught I start running as they follow me and I change into a cat when they cant see me. Meow I try to trick them then the 2 wolfs and the fox started sniffing me they said I am not only a cat turn into a human the wolf with blue tail yells at me fine I say as turning into a human -growl- the other wolf growls at me. Well Ima get going bye I say as walking away hey Get back here! The fox yells as she tackled me and then knocks me out. I wake up in a cage meme review I clap my hands. What is she doing the vampire asks memes the werewolf with a red tail said bingo you just won...nothing good job I say jai what did you find? The werewolf with the blue tail asks the fox well I took DNA results and he is a cat person that's all I know. Oh really how did you find that out the wolf says sarcastically. Stop Austin this is serious the other wolf says hmm so I know the fox is jai and one of the wolves is Austin hmm. It turns night an I turn into a cat and head out the cage heh fools I whisper as one of the werewolves goes downstairs opens the fridge and grabs a steak heh this will be easy I think...
Boy was I wrong.

Dad sent a letter asking Magnus if he could teach me magic because apparently Magnus is one to travel. That was a week ago.

While we are still waiting for a reply Mom made a schedule to start of my training.

5:00 to 6:00 am: Running
6:00 to 6:30 am: Shower and get ready
6:30 to 7:00 am: Breakfast
7:00 to 8:00 am:  Mom shows me some movements and also corrects me when I did some wrong.
8:00 to 9:00 am: Dadteaches me what he knows. Meaning a lot of memorization.  (￣ ￣|||)
9:00 to 11:00 am: My me time
11:00 to 12:00 am/pm: Lunch
12:00 to 12:30 pm: Family relaxation time.
12:30 to 7:00 Pm: Mom and Dad leave for work and am left alone or with a babysitter - even though I don't need one (￣◇￣) -

Yup I was going to have to re-learn how to wake up that early. By now am used to waking up around seven or eight not five. (╥ω╥)

Haaa life at the moment isn't bad but am pretty sure I am about to enter my own hell and heaven.

I was right. The running I can handle to some degree but not waking up early and having to run for an hour when I didn't even have the energy to open my eyes, it's not fun.

What Mom has been teaching me weren't as bad though they were still tiring. 

Then there was Dad even though I am thankful that I get to let my body get some time out my brain got in an even worse shape after just half an hour of memorization. Since my brain was still young and not like the one I had before, it wasn't used to this much of info and I just ended up with a headache that felt more like a migraine.

Overall the classes were not pleasant but it's a good thing I have my me time after those classes - even though most of that time is spent with me sleeping... -

Two weeks... It took two fre@king weeks for this Magnus to answer... oh why do I even try?  He travels much and answered this late... In my eyes that just showed how either reluctant  he was to take the teaching job or how annoyed/lazy he was at being interrupted in hus travels.

Let's hope it's the later cause a teacher that didn't want to teach was a horrible one. Just thinking of that reminded me of snape.

Harry never really expected to end up as Master of Death or that he would end up back in the past in another world but really he should have because that's just another day in Harry bloody Potter's life.

 "Troy, I want to come with you."  Bob said seriously.
"You want to run away from home?"  Troy joked.  He knew that everyone was afraid for him, concerned about him going away from them and wondering how fragile his emotions were.  After all he was on a new course of medication and that alone was enough to cause some concern.  He blacked out more frequently, his tremors were more pronounced and he had bouts of stomach problems.
But he had faced things tougher than that and survived.  Maybe one day he would share those things with his family; but only if they asked.  
"You might need…someone to talk to."  His lip twisted grimly.  He thought that Juicy would dump his ass or an argument might send him flying off the handle.
"You're just a phone call away, right?"
Bob nodded.  "But if you need your big brother I'll be there in a flash, right by your side Troy."
He looked down.  "I know."  They hugged briefly and Troy boarded the bus back to Cincinnati; back to his life and his future.



It didn't really make sense that he didn't have a cell phone.  In actuality, his life would be so much simpler if he didn't have to worry about having change so that he could call Juicy to tell her that he was getting off the bus and waiting for a cab.  And yes, he was going to use his brand new CREDIT CARD to pay for the fare.  Some things were too much of a hassle to deal with; like stopping at an ATM machine when he ran out of ready cash, so while back in Connecticut he had received his very first credit card.
As the cab let him out in front of the Brownstone that was his home, he thought about Juicy's dark, nearly black eyes that slanted slightly and looked so beautiful on her rounded face, and her deep chocolate skin highlighted by her long golden dreds.  His heart began to pound in anticipation as he hurried up the stairs.  A month was a long time not to see the woman that you're in love with.
He slipped the key into the lock and was calling her name before he even pushed open the door.  "Juicy?"  He looked around.  The apartment was a mess.  He closed the front door and walked inside, stunned.  He stooped to pick up clothes.  It was as if she'd come home and stepped right out of her clothes as she walked.  
"Juice?"  He hurried into the spare room, the one that had been used to do her customer's hair.  It was the same as they'd left it.  Then he checked her bedroom.  The room smelled.  There was old food containers, plates with old dried up food on it, the bed even had food on it.  He had never seen this apartment in disarray.  Juicy prided herself on being neat and clean.  
Troy took a step to the phone and felt his head spin.  "Shit!"  Not now!  He clapped his hand loudly.  "Don't you dare!  Don't you black out!  Don't!  You are not going to…to…" He sighed and his face went slack.  His eyes went glassy as he stared unseeing into the distance.  
Less than a minute later he took a stumbling step forward. For a moment he couldn't remember where he was and what he'd been doing. Something was badly wrong but he couldn't—JUICY!  He reached for the phone and dialed the shop but when he put the phone to his ear he heard nothing.  He looked down and saw that it had been unplugged.  He reached down and quickly plugged the end into the receptacle.  She had unplugged the phone…
He began to panic and pace as he dialed the number to the shop.
It rang impossibly long before someone answered. "Hello, Juicy's house of hair.  How can-"
"Let me speak to Juicy!"  His words came out all run together.
"Huh?"  came the voice.  "Is this Candyman?"
"Yes!  Where's Juicy?"
"Juicy ain't here.  She ain't been here in over three weeks and she don't answer her phone.  Look, Troy, I don't mind-"
"What?!"
Ebonique got quiet.  "Troy?  Didn't you know?"
He ran his hand through his hair, his face falling.  "Well…where is she?"
"Well I don't know…I assumed she was at home on bed rest.  She asked me to watch the shop because she's sick.  She's got some disease or-"
"DISEASE?!"  He started panting and dots were forming in front of his eyes.  Not happening!  Not again!  He stomped his feet and kept pacing to fight off another bout of unconsciousness.  "What do you mean, disease?!"
"Okay!  Don't yell at me!"
"I'm sorry Eboni, but-"
"She got something called Fre-erasia, or…something like that."  
Fre-erasia?  He repeated the word over and over trying to understand it.
"Look, Candyman, Juicy's customers keep calling here asking for her and cussing us out.  She going to lose her customer's if she ain't careful."
"Uh…I'll call you back later."  He sat down on the couch, flopping down more than sitting down.  "Fre-erasia."  He looked around suddenly, than he tore through the apartment searching for some paperwork.  If she was sick then there had to be something…an invoice, something.  This is why the bedroom looked as it did.  She was supposed to be on bed rest—and he hadn't been here.  She had been sick and he hadn't been here!
Then he found what he was looking for in the kitchen on the cluttered counter.  There was an appointment card that said Weds. May 23 5pm.  Dr. Luenenberger.  Tri Health Associates.  He checked the clock.  It was five till six.  She was at the doctor's then.  He relaxed a little.  Then he went to the phone again and dialed the number on the card.
"H-he-hello.  I-I'm tr-trying toooo…" He took a deep breath and calmed down.  "…trying to get in t-touch with my g-girlfriend.  Her name is Juicy Robinson and she has an appointment t-today."
"Oh, Miss Robinson, you just missed her.  I checked her out myself."
"Oh…ok."  He was just getting ready to hang up when he remembered.  "Oh!  Can I ask you a question?"
"Okay."  She said in a guarded voice.
"Is there a disease called fre-erasia?"
"Huh?"
"Never mind.  Thanks."  He hung up.  He looked at the clock once again and then checked the fridge.  She'd been shopping.  Good, he would do what he did best.
