This is a collection of thoughts after reading some online novels of different genre and chapter progress along with personal point of view.
These criticisms are not pointed to the authors of the respective novels, rather it is a reminder for myself when I choose to re-read a few novels in my freetime.

Tha, that's right. I remember now! I think, Andou-kun said 『Tell me which light novel you like..., whatever title it is, I'll buy one to bestow upon you』 or some line that sounded like it came from Shenlong*, and either due to my joy in having him talk to me or my embarrassment from having him know that I liked light novels, I ended up giving a weird  response in my excitement... or really, when I realised Andou-kun was aware that I liked light novels, inside my mind I spontaneously shouted 『So he did notice that I was reading Narooooou!』 with all my might. What? Doesn't that mean, up until now not only was he was aware that I liked light novels, he was completely disregarding the fact that this most beautiful girl in school has similar hobby as him. What is with that! Jeez, that's beyond cruel! (Asakura)
 
However. Right now by pure circumstance I'm together with Asakura-san, thus even if she's a disappointing beauty of a hundred faces she's still the number one beauty of the school so... not a girl a loner at the bottom of the school hierarchy like me can casually talk to right...Alright, I'll immediately give her the light novel present by tomorrow, then I'll make sure to not come into contact with her ever again! Otherwise my virgin loner self will end up having some strange misunderstanding! (Andou)

Fiuh, that almost got me again.
Well, how do I said it, I don't want to trouble them over a trivial thing unless I am helpless about it. In order to fulfill that little wish of mine, I had applied for a scholarship from the school nearby and got accepted!
And just in case I need something new, I can get them myself because I always save my money every single day by spending it thriftily. It's a perfect way to completely studying without wasting their money wastefully!
Oh, by the way, my name is Lyta, a third-year from a certain middle school in a certain country.
Currently, I am sooo happy because finally, I would be able to enter highschool. Even the road I always used to get to my school appears as if sparkling in brightness, that's just how happy I am.
Why, you ask?
It is because I would then be able to apply for a part-time job, that is!!!
For some reason, not even one part-time job around my place let me work there, even for as short as 3 hours only. Such a stingy rule applied throughout my entire country, unfortunately, so even if I went as far as begging the manager there to let me work secretly, they wouldn't budge and sometimes they even scold me for it.
Fuhehehe, Imma get there and applied again and see whether you dare to scold me again.
Of course, I didn't tell them that plan of mine because I am afraid I would end up hurting their pride as parents. I just want them to be happy without worrying about me too much, it's my way of showing them my love.
My school is not that far, only 30 minutes walk on foot so I finally entering the gate of my middle school that's still quiet because it's still early. 
Heading straight to my class, I then immediately open my smartphone because today is the day after my test so probably nothing going to happen to class, I hope so.
As someone who strives to live alone, I always keep my study in check and it stresses me quite a bit, especially after 3 years of repeatedly doing so.
That's why now that nothing can stop me from lazing around for the time being, I will thoroughly enjoy my alone time by reading my favorite web novel!

"Please don't push yourself too hard and take a regular rest properly---and sent. Fiuh, sometimes, I wonder what the heck on the author's mind when they can write that fast.", Leaning back to the wooden backrest on my chair, I let out a sigh of worry and wonder while saying so.
It's not like I am that ignorant in the way of authoring because I always love reading a web novel.
 Probably just like everyone else, I dream of writing my own story that's full of high ratings and a lot of encouraging comments.
I had tried it multiple times using a lot of fake accounts because, well, I am afraid of being known about how shitty my writing is, and as expected they have a lot of harsh remarks...at least that's better in my opinion.
Looking at the other views that reach millions and some of the new authors with only 16 or so chapters but already reach ten thousands of view, I then open my own story that goes past 32 chapters but pitifully only gathers around 500 views and feel like crying.
I wonder if the admin of that site purposely hidden my gem-like story because they are afraid of their site spammed by readers?
"Woow, this new author even manages to catch 14 thousand viewers with only 4 chapters. How did they do that!"
I am envious.
It's not like I want to become a real pro author like them, but I really hope that I am talented enough to write something interesting.

Daydreaming is my specialty's after all.
If I can daydream, enjoy re-reading my own story, and then get paid for it, isn't that the best?
The truth but proves that I am maybe not cut out for it, so I close my phone after reading all of my favorite novel new chapters and then pretend to read a book in the corner while actually reading another web novel from my smartphone.
"Hey, so we are going to be a highschool soon right? I can't wait for it!!"
"Yeah, yeah, the uniform is so cute that I ended up applying there!"

And then and then, the boy with his height advantage and devilish chest muscle that's peaking from their uniform suddenly wall slam her while saying sexy things right next to her ears~?

I don't know about guys but for us girls, having that kind of princely or dominating cool guy who persistently pursuing you always makes our legs go limps even though it would be cringy if it happens in real life, isn't it~?
Such a refreshing and girly conversation...is unfortunately not how my life goes.

Why do youngsters always like to badmouth others by the way?
Is it because they would then feel superior? Or maybe they are born rotten? Should I do some face slapping so that they would taste a bitter pill of revenge?
Like---"Hoy, if you have something you want to say to me, say it directly. Don't you know you are not only being a nuisance but also polluting the air with your bad breath?---" and then, a little struggle to prove that I am not someone to be messed with would make my life even harder?

Even thinking about it makes me tired. I wonder what kind of internal struggle does that kind of protagonist who always ended up either being betrayed or humiliated every single arc? Do people always that spiteful on their world verse?

I am tired.
I really, really didn't like someone looking down on me directly so I tried poking them a little, yet now they blatantly curse my own parents. If I am not wrong, their parents would have the same personality according to multiple novels that I already read in the past.
It did make one wonder just what kind of pure white-blank life they had been through to be that ignorance, immature, and stupid enough to let their daughter have such as shitty personality without doing anything.
Look, even the rest of my class now glancing spitefully at that group of girls like they are someone they despise of. People are not that stupid, though sometimes too coward to interfere, but they actually know who to believe and hate based on whatever they see.
Especially after they had been classmates for around one year with them.
But if you being silent and all, you all will go like "But, you didn't say anything~ We would stop otherwise~" even though you would spit at us after we do so!!
 This is exactly what made us introverted people become even more scared at speaking their thought out!
It's not our fault!
Well, but, how do I say this...if you keep doing that in public without even realizing it, "...my condolence. I also think the same thing about you.", said me out loud without realizing it.
As expected, they went fast from being snakey into tigress directly, going *roar *roar like that.
Probably because they thought it wouldn't matter if they make a scene now after they are already fixed to graduate, these girls unexpectedly ended up being saltier than before.
Not only they group trash-talk me, but some also throw things to me directly while saying that my place is a trash bin or whatever.
Why didn't I elaborate on it, you ask?
Because I found it unnecessary.
The student in my class, my classmates who though not that close to me, but human enough to interfere and end that barrage to a stop before my homeroom teacher came. I mean, though not a popular person, I am still a scholarship student so it's really do make the other feel like ignoring me wouldn't be the right choice.
Good, good, the time I lent you all my homework for a year didn't go to waste!
Afterward was full of nothingness because they didn't teach us anything, only a morning full of lecture and guidance, and then my homeroom teacher ends the class just like that, making the students in the classroom free to do whatever they want.
After thanking the lot who helps me one by one, making the girls feel stabbed so much that they choose to leave the classroom spitefully, I then walk to some dark corner to continue my reading time.
As for the others, they decide to watch some film from a laptop one of them brought from home and use the class projector to watch it on the white screen that already installed in front of the class, not forgetting to close all windows, door, and turning off the light.
I am not that fond of a film because I rarely watch it in the first place after all, so it didn't bother me one bit that they leave me alone like that because probably they already get used to my antics.
After opening the web page again, I then surf the entire directory and tags in order to find the most related wen novel that's closely similar to my favorite's.
"Writing contest? heh~"
And while doing so, I ended up reading that certain announcement from them.
Writing contest, it's not like it was the first time that website held such a thing, but I always ignore it because I know I wouldn't win anyway. But, probably because I am becoming more sensitive than usual after that little arguments, I ended up clicking the link that blatantly being placed on the main page after a little hesitation.
Fumu, writing a novel...concept is Vampire? Isn't it kinda boring?...Oho, the example outline indeed could make things interesting. I wonder if all the famous authors always had that much creativity?...bla bla bla, minimum word count, maximum...Yup, not my thing I guess?
Just when I was about to click the previous button, a certain colorized and bolded word on the bottom of that announcement fall into a corner of my eyes.
Waah, wait a minute! I already clicked the previous page! Ugh, why did the loading become this slow!??
It is an important thing that's shouldn't be ignored!!
After waiting that felt like an hour, the page finally reloaded again, and then I re-confirm what's being written there.
Reward, points, medal, and...a contract!?
At that time, I almost want to shout my joy even though I am still in the class.
This is it!!

Lyta is a normal middle school girl that just about to graduate this year and attend a normal high school in the neighborhood as a scholarship student because she doesn't want to trouble her parents over money.

This is something that's written just for the word count to get the badge from the system. What's that? You found this book and is reading this? You must be really bored to come this far and into this dusty corner of the library to find this. 

You see, I made this book just to see how Inkstone works and how the chapters format when I wanna publish something and write a novel. Alright alright. You're here to find something to read whilst sitting on the toilet and taking a dump aren't you?

 Yeah I suppose reading something while doing your business does help it come out better. But this isn't intended for that.


Huh? You're still here? Alright I'll entertain you a bit more if you don't mind reading me droning on randomly to fill the word count. After I finished checking to see how the deal goes with publishing a chapter in a novel works, I found out that I couldn't delete the novel~

 I know I know, it's really weird and everyone is complaining about it, but there's no option to delete your own novel and so here you are, reading this vestige of a weird novel testing ground and exposed to my boring rant. 

I don't think you're still here are you? Now I'm really curious what motivates you now to come this far and I must say, I gotta assume you have some weird taste in entertainment. Surely there's hundreds of other novels you could entertain yourself with? Yeah I know, some of them are kinda boring and cliche, then there's novels with slow updates or worse, somehow stop being translated altogether. 

It really sucks to find a nice gem of a novel only to be hundreds of chapters in, and *gasp* you found there's no more chapters! How tragic, how woeful, now you don't know how it ends and the curiosity burns inside you. Don't you wanna go capture the translator out of anxiety to have them finish the book? I know I have felt that way, no need to be shy, come out and admit your feelings, I'm not gonna judge you, teehee~

Now I feel like I've written a lot now, but this not even 500 words yet, can you believe that? Since you're still here, may as well keep me company for a while longer, though I'm not sure how fast you're reading this. So what else should I say here? Should I crack a joke now? But I'm really bad at jokes. It's not often that I would chat with someone and start coming out with an  elaborate joke. 

Maybe I should be giving some life advice instead?

These days everyone seems to be in a big rush. There's a thousand and one things to do everyday and it seems we're all anxious and frustrated a lot. Sometimes it's nice to try and relax and adjust your frame of mind a little. Taking things slow and appreciation things around you is great for self reflection. At some point you realize what things you can change and things that you can't. Since you can't change some things, having an acceptance of that can help reduce a lot of stress on your mind. Since you can't change it, it's best not to be bothered about it. Sometimes letting nature take it's course is the best way out.

The female lead in Flower Fairy, directed by Ye Qiaofeng three years ago, had become a highly praised actress, becoming known as the Eagle Goddess and the Queen of Television. Ye Qiaofeng was bold enough to think outside the box when it came to television dramas and was famous for being a television drama director who would often change his style to produce exceptional work.
Since he was so handsome, it was not surprising that Ye Qiaofeng had so many fans.
While looking through his Weibo profile, An Wen discovered an extremely important detail. She discovered that Ye Qiaofeng loved to read and that there were many old posts about Calming the Cosmos.
In order to fully understand the character of Qing Sha, she decided that starting tomorrow she would read the original version of Calming the Cosmos.
Initially, An Wen had planned to get into an acting college and receive professional training before she entered the entertainment industry. However, she could not let such a rare opportunity and role slip away from her.
The next day, she read the novel while the other students in the advanced class were studying. During recess, while the other students were revising, An Wen continued to read. She even read it on her handphone while she ate.
Fortunately, the students in the advanced class were very disciplined. These hardworking students would study on their own, without supervision from the teachers. Nobody noticed that An Wen was reading a novel throughout the entire day. Furthermore, nobody would believe that she had spent an entire day reading a novel when the other students on the honors board were struggling because the monthly exams were just around the corner.

After eating dinner and taking a shower, An Wen continued reading the novel on her handphone and kept reading until she felt so tired that she placed her handphone beside her and fell asleep.
The next day, An Wen realized that she had only read a quarter of the entire book despite spending all of yesterday poring over it. If this pace was maintained, she wondered when she would finish reading the novel and finally start analyzing Qing Sha's character.
It would be impossible for her to analyze every single character and scene. It was also impossible for the drama to contain everything. If it did, the television drama would need to have over a thousand episodes.
With that, An Wen decided to quickly read through the original text to get a rough idea of it. She would slowly analyze Qing Sha's character. Novels that were written for a male audience were usually filled with monster-fighting scenes. Qing Sha did not make many appearances because she was only present when she was needed.
As a result of implementing the quick reading strategy, she finished reading the novel in three days by skipping several parts that were solely about fighting. 
An Wen's eyes were sore every day from analyzing the characters as well. Before long, the monthly exams had arrived without her realizing it.

An Wen was an unknown, third-rate actress who had been invisible her entire life. One day, she slipped on a bar of soap and hit her head against the bathtub. When she re-opened her eyes, the girl discovered that she had been reborn as the most gorgeous fifteen year old anyone has ever seen! Even so, would An Wen find her place among the stars? Or would she crash and burn, thus repeating the tragedy of her past life?

The afternoon started with Emelia as she was headed to the library. On her way there, she sees a group of servants walking past her and looked terrified. She looked at them for a while as she kept walking, wondering if something was going on. They all looked as if they were getting fired and kicked out of the palace. Vanessa leaned towards Emelia and asked, "Are you curious?"
"Is it something I should be aware of?" Despite saying that Emelia was curious, she wanted to know the reason why but had to act her character of not caring. "That means yes, I assume?" Vanessa read her mind as the corners of her lips raised. "Apparently, they're getting fired as they were spies of Count Fredrik and Chief Malzan."
That cleared her curiosity, but then again, it was nothing rare to see in the palace. A person like Elliot would have dozens of enemies, especially those who disagree with the way he thinks. Recalling an old memory, she remembered that time where the chancellor's daughter used her room as if it was her own room.
"I see," Emelia muttered as she continued walking to the library. It didn't seem like it, but Emelia was in a rush to read a novel she had been saving. The novel was written by a famous ghostwriter, and the way they wrote the novel was as if they were describing the corruption of the nobles. Novels like mystery intrigue Emelia to the point she didn't mind sacrificing her sleep for it.
Emelia opened the library door, and as expected, it was empty except for the old librarian lady who goes by the name Baba. When the door opened, she greeted Emelia with the biggest smile she had and walked towards her, then held her hand. "You're here again, darling," She smiled, patting her hand, and asked, "Is there a book you're finding?"
"I'm here, Baba. Do you perhaps have the novel called dark in the light?" Emelia looks around the vast library. If she were to find the novel alone, it might take all day just to find it. Time is precious and should be cherished each minute.
"Dark in the light…I'm sorry, darling. But then a young man came and borrowed it earlier," Emelia frowned but then shook her head and gave a smile. "It's alright. I can come back and borrow it. Thank you for your time," Emelia waved goodbyes and walked out of the library with a sigh. Luck wasn't by her side today. Since the novel she wanted to read is being borrowed, she wondered how she'll spend her free time.
As Emelia left the library under the tree, she sees Elliot reading a book and stares at him for a while. The cover looked familiar. It looked like the novel she wanted to read. Emelia took a closer look at the book, and she was right. Though she had not expected Elliot to read novels. She thought he would be reading books about management and whatever.
The wind softly blew to her side, making her flinch. She tucked her ear behind her ear and continued walking. Seeing Elliot read the book, she notices that his eyes were filled with excitement. She couldn't help but giggle as she found a new side to him. That man has problems, but Emelia didn't mean it in a bad way but in a special way.
"Princess!" Seeing Emelia pass by him, he called her name out and closes the book he was reading. While Emelia pretended not to hear anything and continued walking. Her pace quickened, but before she could turn to the corner, he had already caught up to her. "I know you heard me, yet you ignored me," Emelia stopped walking as Elliot stood by her way. "I didn't hear," Emelia lied, averting her eyes.
"Lies…I noticed you looking towards my direction. Am I that attractive?" Emelia continued walking after hearing his self-flattery. "Don't leave me hanging," Elliot said as he caught up with her pace again. "Are you done?" Emelia had enough of him. She didn't even want to talk to him or see him since she knew things would go like this.
Elliot didn't feel hurt since he was getting used to the way Emelia acted. Just a few more push then maybe one day he would have a place in her heart. For now, he deiced to take things slow. "Princess, why don't you call me by my name? At least like Sir? I don't want my title to be said by you. It's weird."
Call him by name? Emelia had decided she will never call that man's name out loud. If she did, Elliot would be more interested in her, which she didn't want. "I'm sorry, but I like calling you, You," Emelia turned to another corner, making her way back to her own room. But the persistent man wouldn't stop following her.
If others see the way he's acting, they might think His Imperial Majesty is a human dog, following his master until they grant something to him. "That's mean, but just say my name once," He begged and stood in front of her blocking her way again.
"I don't think you should force someone to say it, You," Emelia said and continued walking, leaving Elliot hanging like an idiot. "Hey, at least once," Elliot said and turned his back, but this time not following her. But then this is what makes Emelia a fun person to play around with. Well, it seems like the calling of his name will be postponed.

I have an important announcement to make. After long consideration, I have finally decided to rewrite my novel. That means that I will drop this novel and then write it again from the beginning. There are a few reasons for that. When I went back to read my novel from the start, I noticed that I wasn't very interesting to read and I started thinking why. The reason why I wasn't interested to continue reading my own novel was simple. The reason is that my novel has no huck. The second reason is because of my release frequency. The third reason is my writing. When I read I can always see inconsistencies in characters and tone. And the fourth and final reason is planing. I have been planning to write this novel for years, but I still haven't planed out some important plot points and details. I also have not figured out how to make all the harem members important to the story. I really wanted to write this story for years and one day I just started writing. I thought that I could cum up with all of that as I write but that was always contra-productive because I was always scared to write myself into a corner or to contradict myself. Because of all those reasons and because I still haven't finished watching or reading many anime, manga, and novels who I want to include in the story, I decided to drop this novel and rewrite it after I trained for a bit. Before I continue this novel, I decided that I will write and publish two other novels on this site, so I could get more experience as a writer. The first one is called "Is it wrong to pick up girls on a killer island?" and will also be a harem novel but with a lot of horrors. The story is about some college students who find themself on a mysterious island where many dangers await them. The harem members in that novel will also have big breasts, but they will only be big by anime standards, not by hentai standards like in this novel. The smallest one in that story will have an E cup (I use the Japanese measuring system because the American one is too confusing) and the biggest one will have an M cup. The smallest one in this story will have a K cup and the biggest a 3Z cup.
