Japanese Fantasy novels have made extensive exploration of the Western Fantasy concepts. Japanese people are constantly being outsourced into various fantasy worlds, and the average Japanese wouldn't be surprised to one day wake up and find himself in a different world or in a room with white walls and white tiles.

They have also spread the notion that being squashed by a big, heavy truck is perhaps, not necessarily a bad thing !

These are some of the popular novels which we know. Each of them is very unique in it's own way and have become popular in it's own right. It would be incorrect to call them a failure, as they have correctly captured their intended audience – the Japanese teenage audience. However, when thinking about a broad perspective, these novel become obsolete when it competes on a global level with other web novels, and the majority of the reason for their deficiency is simple – the Protagonist in these novels is a typical Japanese light novel protagonist, who is naïve and a dumb virgin idiot. It is as if he has never received any sex education, and would always talk some naïve things which do not match with his current situation. Their behavior is somewhat correct given that these protagonists are usually high school kids, but the readers have difficulty accepting such an immature protagonist.

Web novels are about accumulating wealth, women and power. So when a reader reads the protagonist behaving like a dumb virgin when a girl approaches him, or when he does not actively seek wealth and power, the reader is bound to get angry and disappointed.

A good example can be found in the following example :

In Tsuki ga Michibiku, the Protagonist Makoto establishes a business half-heartedly, and his business is more like charity to the hyumans, the same hyumans the majority of whom treat him like sh*t and had killed his subordinates. Instead of developing his Asora realm, where we might have enjoyed him developing a realm and being a king or even god, he keeps roaming throughout the world unnecessarily.

Also, he had two beautiful subordinates who are eager to have sex with him, but apparently he sees them as 'sisters' or 'family', so he cannot do that. (Perhaps he has not read any incest hentai, or heard of Kiss X Sis)

Note that this is not just about sex, as there was a very broad scope for plot development in Tsuki ga Michibiku. For example, Makoto could have properly developed the Asora realm, showing us some world building and kingdom building. He could even have married Tomoe and Mio and their kids would have been demi gods who would do various mischiefs in the hyuman realm. There might have even been wars of Asora vs hyumans.

In short, the Japanese protagonists have disappointing characteristics on a global scale, and are not entertaining to read.

* SOLUTION FOR ALL THIS…

Japanese isekai novels have good would building (from light novel and web novel perspective), and this fact cannot be ignored.

My idea is simple, that is to write a fan fiction of a pre-existing light novel or use the basic ideas and rewrite the novel, the only change being the utterly virgin protagonist. The protagonist would simply be 'de-virginized' and re-introduced. This change might seem small but actually opens up a lot of routes for novel writing. (as in Tsuki ga Michibiku example)

The protagonists in these isekai novels are already powerful, and if they are re-written of as being mature, smart and driven by ambition, then they would become warlords, making the story even more interesting to read.

Whether you get answered or not, though, is fully dependant on my mood. I can ignore a kind thank you but I can also swear back at bad Rickies. This novel - if we can call it that - was written as a contradiction to my darker mindset that takes things a little too serious and wants to be a bit too much realistic in regards to writing, meaning that I will never take things seriously here, and, even if contents for "17 and above only" appear, they will most probably get glanced at and be used as carpet for an Oppa Gangnam Moonwalk straight to blows and murder.

As for advice, I may take them if some writing genius or lucky wannabe suddenly sprouts and spouts a load of miracle plot... or if they recommend a nice, fast-paced and gloriously irritating novel for me to skim through and reference in either a bad joke or a broken Volume of mine.

Just beware of criticism concerning character development, I may - and will - whine and wheeze at you if I see anything along the lines of "Can't he take things seriously?" or "I want harem!". YES! There is no harem here! In fact, anything close to romance would ruin my protagonist.

Anyway, Volumes will be separated between worlds and before every world, I will be announcing the main references used to make them and the reason they made it to here. I warn, while there are references being boldly used here, this is definitely not a fan-fiction; I'd have to apologize for so many people for messing their beloved stories otherwise.

But let's not get stuck in these trivialities, yeah? The first world will be mostly based on Infinite Cosmos: Somethin' Somethin'; that harem fan-fiction here in Webnovel that is weirdly too popular for what it turned out to be.

That novel has succeeded in annoying me on so many levels you cannot imagine! 

First off: The writing is damn good and comes at a constant fast-paced rate that it started antagonizing Stephen King, meaning that you can definitely expect good things from it... but it's harem focused.

Don't get me wrong, it's not simply because the thing's a harem that I dropped it; as I said, the writing is hella good, which means the author can pack a lot of words in a short time frame plot-wise, and I mean a lot.

I don't remember how high was the record, but the guy has probably managed to squeeze a hundred chapters into a week of storytime already. The result? A draaaaaag...

Second: I don't know if the author ever thought about his protagonist's backstory further than to tell how good and pitiful of a guy he really is, but man... that is just disturbing. 

The protagonist never had a proper life and when he died he swore to be free, never to be jailed by others again... then he enters Danmachi world, meets ten thousand baes and chains himself to them.

A kid that could only be called a Saint in both unwilling deeds and barely established personality turns - in a matter of months - into a sexual deviant because the hundred thousand baes he wanted to make happy were mostly thinking of banging him, thus inducing the poor kid to believe that all the girls he's close to can be happy by doing him or him doing them. 

By the time someone more "normal" comes around, he's far too gone and she falls too. 

The "normal" person describes him as "broken" then, but she was wrong; the protagonist was 14 at the time of his death in his first life, his only contact to the outside world was the entertainment allowed to him in the form of books and stuff so that he would keep a healthy mind and not die off randomly because of some mental sickness; the child was a blank canvas turned into a sex toy and that... is disturbing. 

Got my meaning? Good.

Third: As the writing is pretty damn good, you can see a lot of clear character development going around, mainly in the form of the protagonist's power of understanding his close ones' wishes and pasts. 

But because the guy is such a beacon - or better, shining dildo - the millions of baes are simply rushing up to him and dumping their dreams and wannabes on top of his "weight". 

Now, if you paid attention to my personality in regards to stories and books, you'll notice that I'm probably a crazy realist that will evaluate a story according to how it follows societal rules while inside a society, or whether its characters exist as proper people. 

Now, the story happens inside the CITY of Orario, so you can expect that they live in a society; whether its normal for people there to all go straight to shenaneging the barely 15 years old kid? I don't know! 

As for the "proper people" part though... do you consider the characters in a story that can only rely on the protagonist in order to advance as a person to be a proper person? No independence, no "growing alongside the character" kind of thing, no nothing in regards to their most important trait as a human being? 

I don't care if they are some Goddess of the Forge or some Sword Princess or whatever, but being passively oriented here will only make things worse after the monstrosity you turned Vahn into!

Phew! I turned the thank you reference into a review so long no sane person would read it. But this part is over, I'll try to write really quickly now that I'm still relatively free, I believe I'll be living hell once month six is upon us. Let's hope this passion lasts.

The surprise you receive from knowing that you're alive again can be easily dwarfed by the surprise that slams into you like a truck going at light speeds, when you find out that you're in a world were fiction isn't fiction anymore. A world where it's the reality, as real as the breath you take into your lungs, as real as the clothes on your skin. As real as the taste in your tongue. As real as the color in your sight.
Do you know how crazy it feels to know that Robert Downey Jr is Ironman? Or Mutants is realy? Or the fact that you're a Spider-Man? I honestly thought I was going insane, I spent a lot of time in shock and then panic and then acceptance and panic again.

Moving on, during my time in the hospital, I figured that I passed out last time because I was bitten by a gene altered radioactive spider when I went on a gang robbery to Oscorp science labs division. Oh, yeah Oscorp and a whole lot of other companies existed in this universe. This place was like the MCU, but it wasn't a 100%, because a lot of things that shouldn't be in it where in it. 
This Marvel world doesn't have a Spiderman. I checked, he never ever existed. Then I looked up the Paker's wanna know what I found out? You will soon.
How did I find out the spider was radioactive and that I was now Spider-Man? But when I was a kid, I could remember falling face down on the ground trying to a cool jump like Spider-Man.
How about the time when I clung to the walls and couldn't let go without ripping the wallpaper off. Then the extraordinarily increased senses that leave you with sensory overload since your brain isn't used to it yet.
Then the headaches, the ones that move in the rhythms across your brain like it's a disco dance floor, as it is being enhanced and adapted to properly utilize your newfound abilities.
Let's not forget the growth pains. You know in movies and comics they just painlessly sleep through it all, that wasn't the case for me.
Sporadic painful muscle spasms hit me in random intervals over the course of a week or sometimes a day. Feeling your bones being stretched out and rebuilt to be able to withstand the increased muscle mass your body was rapidly creating was another kind of pain in and of itself. It's like having the world's worst muscle cramp and bone ache all over your body.
Not counting the materials and objects I had broken when the spasms occurred in very inappropriate moments.
But in the solitude of my mind, I ask myself why am I here? Why was I given this chance? What is the purpose? I've read other works with similar premises to my current situation and the characters just accept it and not question it. I think I understand why now. Who do you ask? Who do you go to, to tell all this? You can't find any answers so you just push the question back and focus on what you can do, your immediate needs.
Like me right now. "ufff" the metal strained in defiance as I hefted the minivan fully over my head. This to me felt like lifting a very comfortable weight. I had the proportional strength of a spider this was barely even taxing. I slowly lowered the car back down to the ground and stared at my hands. I had so much power. In the grand scale of things it might not be that much but it was still great power. I've seen guys lift before, they had to have bulking bulging muscles to be able to. Take a look at me, I was on the slim profile side with compact dense muscles. You would only notice it if I pulled my clothes off, or wore really fitting ones. The point is, looking at my body, no one would expect me to be able to perform such feats. And don't get me started on the acrobatics.
I may be possessed by a god of parkour and inhuman acrobatics. My sense of balance and grace was so off the charts, that the charts for it just didn't exist.
But now, I must go.

Why am I in a graveyard in the midnight?? To finally confirm something.
The fog lingered around the atmosphere, I hugged my jacket tighter, the world was quite cold. There were short, faded grass on the ground. The chirps of crickets sang to rhythm, the wind carried about. Rustling the leaves as an effect of its motion.
I walked to a white marble tombstone. The words engraved on it hammering the fact of my findings.
On the grave next to Benjamin Parker, was that of Peter B. Parker. The one who shouldn't have been here.
Both him and his uncle died due to a mugging. Can you believe it, Spider-Man died in a mugging like uncle Ben would've. Ben died in a heart attack from witnessing his nephew shot dead right before his eyes. May Parker was devastated, but she held on. The only remaining Parker alive.
I will help people. I know I'm not a Saint, I know I'm undeserving of this chance I received, but I will be a hero to others. 
This world suffers.
I've lived through hell to know the ugly side of life, and if my acts can cause a difference. Then I'll do it. Because maybe out there is someone like the old me, someone who's about to lose everything to criminals, to circumstance they have no power over, someone who's out there crying for help. "What I'm saying is the deterioration effect that should've sped up has instead reversed itself. It is nothing short of a miracle. And not only that" The scientist in a lab coat explained. He clicked on a button to display graphs "It seems his physical attributes have all been increased. He's as healthy as an Olympic gold medallist"
Norman Osborn stroked his chin. He had been prepared for the legal battle that would've come as a result of the spider bite. The boy should have died, that was the case, but now his blood was suddenly stabilized. This was a blessing in disguise. This proved that the ozserum was ready.
The ozserum was his result on trying to replicate the super soldier serum SHİELD had contracted him for. He had been met with continued failure, SHİELD was getting impatient and so was the board. And then all of sudden this opportunity comes for him, it looked bleak at first, the child was on a path to death, the chemicals in his system should have killed him days ago but it didn't. The serum was successful.
The gangaster was living proof of that. It enhanced him. He would have take care of the boy soon. He didn't need any a loose ends, and the boy would serve as the perfect specimen. That won't be a problem in the future.
"The serum is ready." he said to the scientist.
"Sir, it's not. This scenerio was nothing short of coincidences that led to an absolutely unexpected result. It is impossible to replicate." the scientist quickly warned.
"We will match the situation, control the environment and replicate the effects. The serum is ready."Norman was confident. He knows when to be. He didn't become the ceo by not recognizing when to take risks, well and also when to eliminate his competition. Why would he limit himself to SHİELD? He could rule the world, he would own the biological arms race.
"Brain pull up my file." he spoke to the man next to him. "Good bye Dr." he finished. The scientist dejectedly shook his head and walked out the door.
"Silence the Dr. And get me a replacement." he spoke to his assistant. A sinister smile spread on his face, his eyes as ravenous as a wolf's he stared ahead, looking at his imagined future. 
Nothing can stand in the way of my ambition.

Realist people they honest and straight person they not good in society. Well, in novel they just clever and smart but in reality they just simple anti-social.

They know the truth and didn't care people. They just already give up on society and accept it.  'Accept' is the word force to acknowledged it you can say its 'give up'. 

Realist person already 'set' they 'goal'. Goal is just already 'plan' your life and to make it repeat. In terms in games you just 'Grind' make your level 'max'. Already 'limit' and 'satisfy' your life. Work for 'money', fell in love your 'love' one and make 'eternity' vow to a person.

People to become realist person, Easy to say but it hard to make. Even me, It easy to read but its hard to write. You need write perfectly to easy understand who people wants to read.


I just to escape on this topic about 'write' and 'read'. Im just saying this to calm and look, they are people wants to help or not. But, you need to try 'ask' and 'communicate' so you can 'connect' people.

Dan was living a hundred, no, maybe a thousand, lives.  Simultaneously.
He knew that it all started when Ethan died. Actually, when he revisits the memory he can see multiple different outcomes to that day... several where he and Ethan both died.  He was pretty sure he had a mental breakdown, but the visions became stronger over time and he started to believe they contained real data.
When he and Lily were, basically, abducted by Cedric, this dual and triple vision started to become more frequent.  A month later, and he was living in a weird stereoscopic world full time.  It was debilitating at first, but it wasn't the sort of thing he could tell this weird group of secret agents (as he referred to them in his head).  Lily could tell he was going through something and she gave him space.  God knows she needed some herself.
Cedric was the catalyst to unlocking the true power of Dan's multifaceted perspective, and Dan was shocked to realize that maybe he wasn't crazy.
"Where are we? Why can't I contact my family?" Dan asked, frustration and anger clear in his voice. Cedric maintained the same stoic face he usually wore, but Dan saw it soften a little.
"You know I can't tell you, its for our safety as well as yours.  Same reason we can't contact your family, to keep them unconnected to everything that you're caught up in," Cedric said, not for the first time.
A sharply outlined afterimage of Cedric said nothing at all.  A foggy looking version said basically the same thing, but sounded more harsh.  Ten versions of Cedric deep, a near transparent Cedric said "We smuggled you into Canada.  Nowhere on earth is safe, but we have resources here and it gives us breathing room.  Your parents are much safer if you're considered missing or dead".
"Are we in Toronto," Dan said, as he watched Cedric closely.
"What! What are you talking about?  All you need to know is that you have to stay in this safe house, and it doesn't matter where we are." Cedric seemed surprised for an instant, but he went back to poker face pretty quickly.  His second image said, "Fuck.  Who told him?".

Dan was finally, mostly, able to function in timeline Alpha without being distracted by all the extra input. He called it Alpha because 'reality' was 3D and in full colour, but everything else was either misty, faded, transparent, or just outlined... he could tell how close to reality a vision was by how substantial the images were.  Interacting with reality this way was kind of like talking to friends while the radio and TV were both playing... distracting, but manageable... usually.
It all seemed to happen in real time, so he didn't think it helped much in the moment.  It did, however, give him information he wouldn't normally have had, as Cedric had confirmed during their conversations.  He learned that the Centre was not telling them a lot of things. They had technology that would make a science fiction writer jealous: they had sent agents to Mars and beyond for reconnaissance, a satellite network that extended past the solar system...  Though Dan wasn't sure if all of this was true in reality Alpha, or just potentially true.
It was alternate reality shit, right? If that was true, then Dan understood that some of the data he heard was definitely not true in reality Alpha... thats kind of how it all worked, he thought.
Dan watched as The Director, 'what the hell was his name anyways?', walked towards him. His face was calm and blank, but Dan saw outlines and images of his face looking worried and a little angry... he saw staticky 'Directors' turning away too.  Alpha Director came right up to him though.
The Director was wearing a dark grey suit, bright white shirt and a blue tie.  You'd think he was a corporate salaryman, or maybe a politician, until you noticed how powerful he looked and how gracefully he moved.  Dan thought of him as a cross between a secret agent and a bank manager.
"Dan, this is yours," he said while pulling a gun out from within his jacket. It was dark grey, matte, and bigger than Dan expected.
"What the hell" Dan said, genuinely shocked.
"What can I say, welcome to the team," the Director said, a smile almost on his lips.  "I know to you it looks like we are just running and hiding, but we have goals we need to keep achieving too.  We've debated what to do about you and Lily, and it isn't safe to just hide you somewhere, or to send you back to your parents.  That's why you're both officially entering The Centre's Academy, starting tomorrow."
".... Are you joking? You have an academy? We are fu#$ing teenagers, and you just handed me a gun," Dan said, almost yelling at the end.
"And not just any gun. You'll learn how to use it properly in class, but that weapon is entirely non-lethal until you graduate, or it is authorized by myself or a manager.  Right now it is more like a laser tag gun to practice with," he said.  The Director put the gun in Dan's unresponsive hand, and then closed his fingers around it.  "Son, I need you to get up to speed here. I know none of this is your fault, but this is an opportunity to turn you into an asset instead of a liability... and you'll be better equipped to help Lily."  He paused to look into Dan's eyes forcefully.
"Honestly, Lily is more dangerous than you right now, she's had good training all her life.  However, I think you are a realist, and will grow quickly in the academy.  Work hard, and get strong enough to protect her."  With that, the Director clapped him on the shoulder, and then walked away.  A very solid Beta timeline version remained though, and said "Your exposure to the quantum event could manifest in ways that are useful to us, and it is better if you are trained to deal with it".
'Woah,' Dan thought, watching the Director and his afterimages walk away.  'So my extra vision is something they expected?  .... What is a quantum event?'
The gun was heavy in his hand, and he looked at it more closely.  It was a matte grey, like dark concrete, with a long barrel and an oversized muzzle.  Dan wasn't an expert on weapons, but it seemed too long to holster it in his pants.  Also, he couldn't tell how to get the bullets in; he expected there to be a clip or chamber in the grip, but it was seamless.  It felt more comfortable in two hands, and he tried pulling the trigger while aiming at the ceiling... it moved, but nothing happend.
'I guess it really is locked down... maybe it is a toy more than anything?'  Dan played with the gun for a while, and thought about everything the Director said.  Their lives had become a puzzle and he was trying to put all the pieces together.  The accident, Ethan's death, the attack on Lily's home, the monster that tried to kill them, the Centre, this 'Academy, and the mysterious quantum event. 
Lost in thought, Dan felt like he spent hours running in mental circles. He had to shake himself out his trance.  'The only thing I'm sure of right now is that this is Fu%ked.  Lily and I need to stay together and figure out why this is all happening.  The Director knows more than he's telling us, but I really don't think they know everything either.'
He started walking towards his room, wondering what time it was, since he'd almost been daydreaming there.  Dan would have been very surprised to realize that only five minutes had passed since his meeting with the Director.

'I wonder if they told Dan yet?' Lily thought. She was in the gym of the facility, working through her kata after a long work out.  Ethan always left Kata and forms until the end of his workouts, because he wanted to be more centred mentally, able to perform the moves even when tired.
At 15, she seemed to be slightly built compared to Dan and Ethan, but she was already 5'7" and ropey with the kind of lean muscle that comes from a lifetime of martial arts practice. Sweat glistened on her face, the hollow of her collar bone, and soaked through the grey sports bra and shorts the Centre provided her. She wiped some sweat with a towel while she looked around the giant, but empty gym.
She had thrown herself into exercise and martial arts since they arrived in this strange place. She knew she was hiding from her thoughts, and the reality of her situation, but it was all that was keeping her sane.  Still, considering she spent hours here everyday, no one else ever entered. 'I'm finding it hard to believe they have an Academy of students here somewhere... but this place is massive'. 
She'd explored as much as she was allowed, and came across a lot of doors her pass did not giver her access to.  She and Dan were confined to 2 floors, but she was starting to realize that this complex was much larger than she first thought. 'Are the other students already here... or is the Academy somewhere else?'
Lily knew she was in need of some sort of mental crisis intervention, it wasn't normal to have had your entire family die and/or be killed, and still be so excited about going to school.  She was very curious though.  The Director and Cedric were the only consistent people she had spoken with here, but the number of personel and activity had been picking up in the last week, and she suspected it was related to her studies starting next week.
'I wonder if Dan is excited too?' she thought.  Dan had been acting really strange lately, but that was comforting to her. At least one of them was acting normally in this situation.
'What would Ethan do?  Probably laugh and see if everything could be solved with a game of frisbee rather than a fight.'  She smiled, Ethan annoyed her, but he was a good guy.  
The truth was, Lily was afraid to talk to Dan about everything that had happened. He was a realist, and would push her to accept everything.  Deep down, she didn't think it was real.... she saw Ethan's body, she saw the monster, but it was like a fever dream that she remembered vividly.  She still felt a connection to her brother.
'Should I tell Dan about the dreams, or am I being dumb?'  She had been dreaming about Ethan constantly this last week, and he was doing crazy shit like getting in gun fights and car chases.  It felt like she was there, just a push away from touching him.  'Yeah, I'm crazy.  Dan doesn't need my crazy on top of his,' she thought, a little smile forming on her glowing face.

In this argument we will talk about state how a realist and liberal view both the collapse of the Soviet Union and the rise of the new world. For this section, firstly, we need to talk about theories. Firstly, we need to focus on realism. Realism is the dominant theory of international relations. According to realist theory, states, organizations or whatever actors aim is to maximize their benefits. Main issues in realist theory are national interest, war and security. In this theory, states are the main actors. To become state, there need to border, population, central government, recognized by each other and sovereignty. In realist view, states have always concerned about other states. States did not feel safe. For the protect themselves, states arm itself. If a state arm itself, other states do not feel themselves feel anymore and they also upgrade their military power. Because of these states did not feel themselves safe more than before. In literature, it is saying that security-dilemma. To escape this problem, states need balance of power. To balance of power there is two ways; increasing military capabilities and increasing power through alliances. With this way goal is protect a state or a coalition of states dominating others. Second theory is we talk about liberalist theory. According to liberalist perspective, main issue is individual. Main concern is the liberty of individual. According to this view, all people are equal and have same rights. As we see with this view, a state is responsible for the liberty's her citizen and protecting citizen's right. In terms of main concern is individuals, we see that the states are not main authority, they have just authority about investing in it by the people. With this way, we see that states have constitutional entity such as establishing and enforcing the rule of law to respect the rights of citizens. Because of this, we see that constitutional states could establish perpetual peace. According to idealist, for the establish new peaceful world, there should an international organization create, secret diplomacy end, armaments reduce, barriers to free trade end. 
            Before the explain state how a realist and liberal view both the collapse of the Soviet Union and the rise of the new world, let us talk about Cold War period and how was world before the collapse of the Soviet Union. During the Cold War period, realist theory was more come forward than liberalist theory. As we see that Cold War is a state-centric nature. Because of state-centric nature of world during the Cold War period, there was anarchic structure in the global system. Without a sovereign, humanity trapped in a chaos situation. According to realist view, Cold War is the end of an era of political and international relations theory. The state-centric nature of realism was accurate in depicting the rivalry of the United States and the Soviet Union. After the end of the Cold War and collapse of the Soviet Union, we see that liberal perspective become more valuable than realist perspective. End of the Cold War caused the collapse state- centric policy and organizations, corporations and individual actors have become major international actors. As a result of this, realism is no longer exist in international relations theory after the Cold- War period. 
            Let us begin to talk about our main topic in this argument. As we see our main subject, at the end of the Cold War, there would new world order in terms of liberal perspective. Many people believed that with new world there would be peace, freedom of individuals, increase in wealth of people and markets and political rights. They should be with new world order. After the Cold- War, United States become the dominant power of the world. There are too many liberal policies in international relations, much more wealthy market issues with the new world order. But there are also too many conflicts between states. With only one dominant power in the world which USA, states should act according to USA's foreign policy. This caused some conflicts between states in terms of economy, finance. As a result of these issues we can say that liberal perspective also not many affective in international relations in in the new world order era. But, even so, liberal perspective is the main theory in the era of the new world order after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
