With a strained smile, the trio of bullies struggled hard to maintain their guise. It took them a lot of restraint to not beat the crap out of Thoran in the very pathway.
 
Thoran acted oblivious to everything as he was enamored by the brand new limited edition coupe. Having a strict mom, Thoran couldn't even afford a taxi, much less a luxury car.
 
'Heh, I've been waiting long to spit on the face these prodigal whores. You sluts are too young to trick me, your grandpa.'

Filip who was trailing Ramon with another car, saw Ramon's car sped up on the pathway into the woods. West Shores Elite's campus is a total of over 500 hectares, it is a mammoth property taking almost 1/30th of the entire city.
 
Since the school only take in the rich and gifted children, the school student populace is only in hundreds. Therefore, most of the campus space is just trees and wilderness.

  There was a sharp line drawn between The Scar and nature's flourishing. Sweet pollen tickled his nose as Keldon took in a deep breath of fresh air.
  But unfortunately, he didn't have the luxury of time to enjoy nature to its fullest at the moment.
  "Alright, that's enough of that," said Keldon.
  He stuck out his left hand, waving his hand in a half-circle and mentally commanding his skill orb to appear. A small ping of anxiety popped in his chest. Was there a chance the Skill Orb wouldn't appear?
  But to his relief, Salem's skill orb in the form of a red needle manifested into reality, faithfully announcing itself with a small hum.
  For the first hour or so, Keldon fumbled with the magical device confused. He'd never used a skill orb properly before so he didn't really know how to activate it properly. Luckily for him, it seemed Salem had enough foresight and had left him instructions on the back as Keldon was finally able to pull the skill list up.

  "You were even more impressive than I thought…" murmured Keldon, scrolling through the extensive list. However, after the initial few, he'd noticed that many of Salem's skills had a small textbox next to them labeled [Faux]. He flipped to the newly written section at the back of the notebook.

  "So that's what he'd been doing cooped up in the cave back then," thought Keldon.
  He really did have so much to thank Salem for.
  "I have to live up to his expectations,"
  However, it seemed his lack of sleep had finally caught up to him. Keldon's eyes trailed across the dense lines of text, finding his attention wavering and having to reread whole paragraphs. His eyelids felt like lead, as Keldon caught his head bobbing from sleepiness. He yawned, pinching himself on the cheek to keep conscious.
  Focus. Focus.

  "Psst."
  He felt a tap on his head.
  Keldon rolled over.
  "We're here," said Sims.
  …
  "Wait…what?" 
  Keldon lifted the notebook off his face, the sunlight jabbing him in the eyes.
  He winced, peeling himself off the floor of the caravan as he tried to let his vision adjust to the blinding light.
  "Merchants!! All documents must be at the ready or you'll be sent to the back of the line! Individual travelers! Line up in row 1, groups in row 2! Cut in line and you'll be out here another day!" came a voice far in the distance.
  The scent of water filled his nose as he started to realize what was going on, scrambling to his feet.
  Instantly, he was blasted by an overwhelming surge of new information.
  Their caravan had melded into a line of many carts over a smooth whitestone bridge that stretched hundreds of feet above a glistening moat river. Strange creatures with 4 wings and rat heads squeaked as they soared above, landing on the red brick gate that separated the city from a towering wall of protection.
  Tall guards with tanned skin in red and gold armor ushered in a small group of merchants passed an intimidating stone gate as Sims and Darian pulled the caravan forward, chatting between themselves as they rifled through stacks of documents.
  Darian looked back to Keldon with a wave.
  "Morning Keldon! Have a good rest?"
  But Keldon couldn't keep his eyes from wandering around him. Just the size of the bridge alone stretched as far as one end of Greenhearst to the other. His gaze fell onto the mortar and brick wall, as way off in the distance, he could see the outline of a gleaming white palace planted in the base of a mountain.
  "Are we here?" asked Keldon, swallowing the lump in his throat.
  Sims looked up from his papers and smiled.
  "Welcome to Kharburn, my friend,"
  A flood of emotions slammed into him. He was here… he was finally and truly here!! It was everything he'd imagined and more! Keldon looked to the people around him. A tall old man with dark skin and a long bushy beard smoked his pipe. A rotund schoolboy with a bright pearly expression and a caterpillar mustache gnawed on the end of a chicken bone. A prim woman with fierceness in her eyes scowled, fixing her appearance in a hand mirror.
  He looked over to the cart directly behind them, seeing a bored elderly woman with a missing front tooth. He waved as politely as he could. The two of them made eye contact as Keldon put forth his friendliest smile. The elderly woman made a confused look, snapping her eyes away.
  Did he do something wrong?
  He heard Sims' laugh from the front of the caravan.
  "Oh Keldon, such a country lad," said Sims.
  "NEXT!!" yelled a guard.
  The caravan lurched forward as Keldon shifted in his seat, still amazed but now slightly more embarrassed.
  "Papers," said the guard.
  Sims handed the guard the stack of papers who thumbed through them in a blitz.
  "Keldon, hand me your papers and I'll pass them to the guard," said Darian.
  Keldon turned to Sims, giving him a look as his head had just turned into a gnat.
  "What papers?"
  The guard's face twisted from stern to bitter frustration as he jabbed his fingers behind them.
  "Back of the line!!"
  A ball of guilt dropped in Keldon's stomach.
  Sims snapped the reins, turning around the caravan with a shrug of his shoulders as they rolled past waves of stares.
  "I'm so sorry," said Keldon, crawling up behind Sims. "I didn't know I needed papers,"
  But Sims just waved his hand at Keldon and chuckled.
  "No worries lad, you've only written me a ticket for another day of vacation," said Sims.
  "I'd assumed you would have had papers since you had been traveling with someone. You can just pay the toll through the individual line. You'll be able to get into the city before nightfall then."
  "Oh okay!" said Keldon.
  He reached into his pockets for the small amount of savings he'd owned from working at the Hissings. But reaching through the coin purse, his finger poked through a hole at the bottom.
  Oh no. 
  "Sims… I don't mean to be rude, but any chance I can borrow a few deniers? I'll pay you back, I swear!"
  A grim expression crossed Sims' face.
  "I'm afraid I didn't bring any Denier with me. What about you Darian?"
  "I don't like carrying money, the jingling hurts my ears," said Darian.
  "Shit! I mean, shoot. What now?" asked Keldon.
  Sims shifted his eyes, looking around for anyone who could be watching as he curled his finger in a beckoning motion and leaned in close.
  "Go southeast from here, it should be roughly ten minutes at a walking pace. Keep to a straight line and you'll find a boulder with a daisy  next to a heart-shaped brush. It'll lead you down to the sewers where I'll give you directions to a quiet alley," said Sims.
  "You know how to sneak into Kharburn huh…" said Keldon.
  He stared Sims directly in his dark eyes, unsure what to make of the information. But if Keldon knew how to read expressions, then Sims was being as genuine as they get. Besides, what other choice did he have?
  "Okay got it. Thank you. Really. Words can't express how much I appreciate all this," said Keldon.
  "You can repay me once you've graduated," said Sims. "Darian, give the boy a haircut while I draw him a map."
  He couldn't remember whether or not he'd mentioned to Sims and Darian what he was going to be up to in the capital. Although, with most of his mental capacity taken up by meeting with Yan, it could have easily slipped his mind.
  But before he could give the topic anymore thought, Keldon found himself whisked into a red stool. With a flourish of his hands, Darian wrapped a large sheet of cloth around his neck.
  "A number one or number two?" asked Darian.
  "What does that mean? I usually just cut my own hair," said Keldon. It was usually cheaper that way.
  "Long or short will do just fine then," said Darian.
  "Whatever looks better I guess," said Keldon. He had never been particularly picky when it came to his appearance.
  "Whatever you say, boss," said Darian.
  Darian rolled out a strip of cloth containing all sorts of strangely shaped scissors, as he picked out a pair of scissors with a combed blade. Satisfying clicks and snips ran from his fingers in a flurry as strips of brown hair fell from his head. He pulled out dozens of bottles of strange tonics and rubbed them through Keldon's hair as pleasant bubbly feelings relaxed Keldon's nerves. It'd been so long since he'd received a real haircut, he had almost forgotten how pleasant it really was. Once he'd settled down and made some money, he would definitely have to visit a barber again.
  "All done!" said Darian.
  "Oh. Done already?" said Keldon, hoping that it would have lasted just a little bit longer.
  "Yessiree, have a gander," said Darian, holding up a mirror to Keldon.
  Keldon took the hand mirror from Darian.
  "Woah."
  He could barely even recognize himself anymore. His hair was bouncy and soft, and the sunlight reflected off his hair with a light sheen. His sides were trimmed and straight as a razor and overall, he just looked and felt very clean. Is this what self-confidence felt like?
  "Some of my finest work to date," said Darian with a nod.
  "Impressive," said Sims to Darian, handing Keldon a folded slip of paper. Sims reached out for a handshake, looking Keldon in the eyes.
  "See you on the other side lad," he said with a smile.
  "How will I know where to find you?" asked Keldon.
  "You'll know," said Sims with a knowing smile.
  Keldon looked at Sim's hand with gratitude and instead pulled him into a tight squeeze.
  "Haha! Alright, settle down. This isn't a goodbye. Merely farewell for now," said Sims, pulling Keldon off him.
  "What a stickler," said Darian. "Here, I've got enough hugs for the both of us."
  He scooped Keldon up in a bear hug as he squeezed the air out of his lungs in a rib-crushing embrace.
  "hOo. Can't breathe!" squeaked out Keldon.
  Darian dropped him with a sheepish grin.
  "Sorry 'bout that, hard to control my strength sometimes," said Darian, giving him two reassuring pats on the shoulder.
  Keldon leaned onto his knees, struggling to catch his breath.
  "You… You don't s-say," said Keldon. "But thanks too, Darian. For sticking up for me."
  "Always happy to lend a hand," said Darian.
  Sims stretched out his left hand and swirled it into a half-circle. A diamond-shaped skill orb materialized into reality, giving off an iridescent light in the sun and hitting Keldon in the eyes. Sims put his right hand on Keldon's wrist and whispered under his breath.

  A warped light spread from Sim's hand, spreading over Keldon's entire body as his hands and legs disappeared in front of his very eyes. He could still feel that everything was still there, fortunately, though he felt a bit tingly.
  "You'll still be able to be touched and heard, but you've only got roughly an hour of invisibility, I'd suggest you get going."
  "Right, I'll see you soon," said Keldon.
  Keldon scurried together his belongings, throwing them over his shoulders as he gave a glance up to the sun. He dashed off in a straight line southeast, praying that he still knew how to tell directions from the position of the sun. He kept as far away from others as humanly possible, and a few minutes later, the only trace of Keldon that had been left were the tufts of hair that littered the caravan floor.
  Sims looked once. Then, he looked again. And then, only after he was sure Keldon was gone, did he adopt a neutral expression.
  "Well, that's that," said Sims, dusting off his hands.
  "I'm sure gonna miss the little feller for now," said Darian.
  "As will I," said Sims. He turned to the caravan, "I trust that our actions were done up to your satisfaction, Clara."
  Clara nodded, hopping off the caravan with a yawn.
  "You mustn't be so careless next time; I believe the boy grows suspicious," said Sims.
  "I know," said Clara in a soft voice.
  "Then the rest is up to you," said Sims.
  Clara bore a serious expression, taking out a crimson red ribbon and tying her auburn hair into a tight ponytail. She stretched both hands out in front of her, swirling both hands in a half-circle. Two skill orbs warped into reality. One, a glistening orb of light, and the other a marbled smoky black. She muttered underneath her breath and with a flick of her fingers, she whispered an incantation.

  And without a sound, she vanished.

Everyone loves Christmas right, well, although it had passed Christmas, I still remembered it well.

I had been given a new Nintendo Wii game called the sims 2 castaway, and boy - was it complicated! 
Oh man, you had talking monkeys and all sorts!

I had created a male and a female but I wasn't doing very well.
So when SZ came to visit for the first time, I jumped to asking him if he wanted to play; this became a regular thing, little did I know that it'd only become regular temporarily. 

The sims two castaway was new and little did I know that my decision to play it with SZ would turn out Fatal, so fatal that when I was brought to my senses about SZ that I'd never be able to play it ever again, in fact, I don't even know where the game is now.

This is how traumatic my life became and it was only going to get worse from there.

(Guys, so I know initiation is coming to an end but I have a MAJOR plot twist planned. Please keep reading, you won't regret it! And yes, I skipped forward 2 days to skip the sims, I felt like it wasn't needed)
The next 2 days passed in a flash. Initiation was now over, and we were waiting for our rankings, which would be announced later tonight. A lot had happened over the last 2 days. Emma and Dean are now together, and I think it's kinda cute. Liam still doesn't know about them being together though, and I don't think he's going to be very pleased, with Emma being his ex and all. 
Jess is doing really well, she had a little break down last night, but she's good now. I haven't seen Liam much around the compound, but when I do I don't make eye contact and ignore him. We're now back in the dorm since Jess is doing better, and so we don't get caught by leaders for staying in an apartment before we're officially dauntless. 
I wake up that morning, earlier so I can have more time for the rest of the day before the results tonight. I have been doing pretty well in the sims, getting out in 4 or 5 minutes at least. Still, I'm nervous about which rank I'll get, since that also determines which job I would get. If I get in. 
I get up and I see Jake already up, so that surprises me. 
"Hey" I tell him getting up 
"Hey" He says rubbing his eyes
"Why are you up so early?" I ask, going over to him
"I don't know I just couldn't sleep" He tells me
"Are you okay?" I ask him, sitting down
"I'm fine" He says smiling, putting his hand on my cheek "How are you feeling about tonight?" 
"Scared" I tell him
He puts down his hand and says "Why, you have the fastest time out of everyone"
"Yeah, but what if it's not good enough?" I tell him. He makes a sad expression and I say "I mean, sure I did good on the sims, but what if the fighting wasn't good enough?"
"Rose, you're going to be fine" Jake says pulling me in for a hug. 
"Wow, you must really be serious if you called me Rose" I say, hugging him back
He laughs and I say "Oh, I should go shower"
"Okay" Jake says 
"Oh, since it's 5:30, do you wanna go walk around the compound?" I ask him
"Wait but wouldn't all the lights be out?" Jake says
"Yeah, it looks the most beautiful at this time" I say
"Ok, yeah let's do it" he smiles
"Great" I smile back
I grab my clothes and go to shower, being quick so I don't waste much time today. I brush my teeth, comb out my hair, and put on some makeup and then leave the bathroom. Jake's already in a shower as well, so I wait until he's done. No one else is up at this time, so it's just gonna be us walking around. 
When he walks out I say "Ready?" 

"Yup" He says, taking my hand
We walk out the door quietly so we don't wake anyone else and walk down to the chasm. Just like yesterday, the moon is shining in through the glass above us and the entire compound is echoed with the sound of the crashing waves. 
"Wow, you were right" Jake says
"It's beautiful isn't it?" I tell him
"Not as beautiful as you" He says to me 
I smile and lean in and kiss him, and he wraps his arms around my waist and kisses me back. After a few seconds pass we pull away, and I wrap him in a hug. He hugs me back tightly, one hand around my waist and another on the back of my head,  and we stay they for a while. 
"Jake" I say 
"Yeah?" He says looking at me, still keeping his arms around me
"Whatever happens tonight I'll always love you" I say, trying not to cry
"Me too" He says, tears dropping from his eyes. 
I smile and wipe them away and he kisses my forehead. I put my head on his shoulder and we stand like that for a while, before deciding we should keep walking around. When we've walked around most of the compound already, it's already 6:00 AM. We walk back to wait by the chasm, since that's where our friends would most likely meet us. Soon after Katherine comes and slings her arms over mine and Jake's shoulders, from in between us. 
"Morning guys" Katherine says 
"Hey Kath!" I smile at her
"You guys ready for tonight?" Katherine asks
I groan and say "Please don't remind me"
She laughs and says "Okay, okay" and comes to stand beside me. Soon after Jess comes, and so does Jonathan. A little while after Dean and Emma walk in. They all come to stand by us, and just then Liam walks by and Dean has his arm around Emma's waist. 
Liam grabs Deans shoulder and turns him around to face him. 
"What so now we're dating each other's ex's?" Liam asks 
"Didn't think you'd care, seeing how you cheated on her" Dean tells him
"Oh my god, it is way too early for this" I whisper, running my fingers through my hair.
"Oh ok so what, you're gonna date Jess after now too?" Liam says, pushing Dean a little 
"No, because unlike you I don't think about other girls when I'm already with someone" Dean says back 
Liam seems a little thrown off and says "Wow, that's how it is now, huh? We used to be best friends what happened to that?" 
"You became an ass" Dean says, poking Liam and pushing him back a little. 
"You're going to regret this" Liam says, pointing to Liam "And you are too" He says pointing to me. 

"How did I get dragged into this?" I say 
"You're the reason all of this happened in the first place! I'll make you see it" Liam yells at me, then walks away. 
Dean looks at me worriedly and I do the same. What could Liam possibly have planned?

Rose, a girl from Abnegation and sister to Tobias Eaton is wanting badly to escape from her past by joining Dauntless, just like her brother did.

Two men stood on the floor of the Parliament.  The building wasn't very grand, but it was new, having been built in the first delirious months following the Declaration of Independence.  They were both old and powerful political leaders.  One was the party chairman of the United Separatist Front, which held a majority of the seats in the powerless provisional government.  The other was the president of the Merchanters Free Trade Union.  Their names were Peter Andropolis and Nicholas Sims respectively, both were pragmatic men of action, though this information is quite incidental since events were rapidly spinning beyond their control.  Andropolis represented the major industrialists and landowners, and most of the populations on fourteen of the fifteen worlds of Auriga.  Sims represented the crews of some two thousand antiquated freighters and supply ships that plied the Aurigan lanes.  Both were frustrated and impotent in the face of the mounting violence.
Both had stood on the tarmac that day, when independence was declared, and pledged the allegiance of their respective parties.  They had done so with one other man Ð the Rathen of the New Order, the leader of the religious hierarchy that controlled Nuerjal.  The Rathen had promised to support the provisional government.  They both had believed it simply a show of the churchÕs solidarity with the secular concerns of its followers.  The Rathen himself had assured them he would not attempt to influence their decisions as regarded the 'wirldly affairs' of politics; but instead, would deal with the 'spirital welfare' of the people of Auriga.
The Rathen it seems had lied
"He will not come," said Peter Andropolis, who had tried to be a mediator between the New Order guards and the merchanters.
Nicholas Sims frowned.  "Do you know what he said on his three o'clock speech?"  The provisional president of the provisional government shook his head.  "He said that the 'heroic' Revolutionary Guards are on a holy mission.  That they have a sacred duty to cut out the decadence É I don't like the idea of being 'cut out' of anything."
"The church elders were quite calm.  They assured me that they in no way sanctioned what has happened.  They said it was only some hotheads among their young men."
"Yeah?  Well, some a my lads are pretty hot too."  Sims turned away from the president.  "This is stupid," he said.  "It's gone way too far.  I don't remember there being this many Revolutionary Guards Ð and how did they all get to be in the New Order?"
"It would appear the New Order has been using the Guard as a vehicle for recruiting converts É I've had word from your man Kerry, by the way.  He said he sealed the system as soon as he heard of the trouble.  He said no one Jumped out."
"What about the Bristol?" Anger creased Sims' brow.  The Bristol was merchanter Chas and his dead friendÕs ship.  The Guards had overrun it, massacred its crew, and taken off to 'spread the gospel of the revolution'.
"It's been destroyed Ð on your order."
"Good," said Sims.  "Let's keep this thing localized and pray Luna doesn't hear of it."
The door to the gallery burst open.  Several merchanters with heavy rifles slung over their shoulders entered pushing along a ragged New Order guard.  He had been beaten.  One of the merchanters threw the guard at the feet of Sims; the man wore the patch of Exeter, cousinship to the Bristol.
"We found this one skulkin' about outside.  Said he had a message from the Rathen."
President Andropolis snorted.  Only yesterday they had all been compatriots, now they were clearly divided enemies.  If this spread to the other worlds the whole dream of Aurigan independence would collapse.
"You idiot, you beat him!"  The president stooped down and helped the man to his feet.  The eyebrows of Sims went down.  He was a man who would protect his own.
"Nah É I didn't beat him," said the man from the Exeter.  "He came that way.  He must a had fun at the riots today Ð eh!"  He made a quick motion at the guard, who flinched, then pointed a long finger into his face.  "You take a message back to your elders from the Exeter.  We want full recompense on the Bristol, or we're gonna fuck you up Ð Union or no!"  He glared defiantly at Sims, then stalked out, the others from his ship with him.  The New Order guard stared after him.
"WELL," barked Sims, impatiently.  The guard turned to him a slow gaze.
"Gentlemen É please," pleaded the president, thoroughly exasperated and at his wits end.
"I am Rafsanni," said the New Order man thumping his chest.  "By my fathers and mothers back to--"
"And I'm Sims of Union, and if you don't get to the point, little man, I'm going to seriously maim you!"
" --And I bring a message from my Rathen."  He reached into the folds of his cloths and produced a scrawled note.  "The Rathen has ordered the fighting to end."  A sigh escaped the two men.  "The New Order has assumed control of the Port of Nuerjal and the Terran prisoners held there."
Peter Andropolis felt his jaw fall open.  The Terrans were their major bargaining chip, and in the hands of these fanatics there was no telling what might happen.
"Further," continued Rafsanni, "the Rathen also wishes to extend his forgiveness to our merchanter friends, and that all devotees of the New Order should also do so."  Here he held down the paper and with a flourish, one hand behind his back, he bowed to the merchanter.  "I forgive you sir," he said, then went on reading the paper.  "Knowing that our merchanter friends have not yet found the peace of the new way, we can forgive them their sins, knowing in our heart of hearts that our friendship remains unsullied."
By this time Nicholas Sims had turned nearly purple.  He stared down at his fist, that was easily the size of a small ham, and it was an amazing feat of restraint that he didn't smash it into the face of Rafsanni of the New Order.
"You must go right back to your Rathen," said Peter Andropolis quickly, trying to avert further disaster.  "We understand that he is a man of deep devotion and piety, but you must go to him and impress upon him the graveness of this situation."
"NO ONE impresses himself upon the Rathen!  No one but God!  He is very disturbed at this and has retired with his guard about him to meditate these things - so the elders tell me.  And by my fathers, no one will pass that guard until the Rathen himself has found the answer."
"Rot yer father!"  The President tried to shush him, but Sims reached out a massive arm and brushed him aside.  He snatched Rafsanni's tunic in his powerful fingers and pulled the cringing boy to within an inch or two of his own face.  "Now you listen to me, boy, and you listen good.  The time for this 'diplomacy' shit is done.  We all started this little revolution, your New Order, his political party and my Union.  All of us!  You might think the world of your Rathen and your New Order, boy, and you people are always talking about spreading the gospel of the new way Ð well, you tell me, how you gonna spread the word across the Between, across the deeps between the worlds?  There are fourteen other worlds in just Auriga.  How you gonna spread your new word, boy, huh?  What're you gonna do Ñ SHOUT?
"Now you go back to your elders, you ask them how far your new gospel can spread, ask them how long our revolution can last if there's no one to cross the deeps.  You go ask them that.  Go ask 'em boy, cause you don't look like you ever been off a Nuerjal.  Go ask 'em how they're gonna feed and clothe the mouths and bodies on fourteen worlds É go ahead."
The boy stood hunch-shouldered, a glimmer of comprehension wrinkling his brow.  He obviously had nothing to say.
"You go now, boy.  Tell your elders that Nicholas Sims of the Free Trade Union and President Peter Andropolis of the Aurigan government demand the presence of the Rathen immediately.  Or perhaps tomorrow there will be no government and no merchanters."  He did not wait for Rafsanni to answer but pushed him aside and walked out.
