Bild's brows trembled.

"Team 2 was... annihilated?"

"I'm afraid so."

Team 2 was in charge of supporting Arangdan from 'behind the scenes' by supplying them with 'materials'.

"It must be them again."

The subordinate lowered his head without replying, but that was enough for an answer.

Bild continued with a seemingly irritated voice.

"You said they were enough for this task so I gave you the chance, but you failed me. Ha! It's as if we just let them take Hargan's Crown for free."

The subordinate kept his head low while bowing. He knew that making excuses in this situation would just make his problems worse.

It was only two days ago when Bild had ordered Team 2, the scavenger troop, to get rid of Yeon-woo's team.

Arangdan had brought a piece of information saying that the three of them had immediately headed towards Hargan's Lair as soon as they entered Section E. For that reason, he had set up a trap.

However, contrary to expectations, they managed to exterminate every last one of the scavengers that participated on the mission. Including both the baits and the backups.

Not only that, but they had also taken Hargan's Crown, which Bild was saving for the end of the tutorial.It was quite gut-wrenching for Bild.

"You fools. Do I have to step up for a task like this?"

"I, I'm terribly sorry."

He had put a lot of work into preparing Team 2, but now his efforts had ended up being in vain. He couldn't let them get away with this.

If he left this matter unsettled, it was clear that there would be a punishment coming from 'the Isle'.

The subordinate bowed his head in agreement. Even from his point of view, the players in Team 1 were all full of conceit. Their belief in that they would be the next leading players of Cheonghwado was so strong that even Bild's words were often ignored.

Bild was planning to make use of this opportunity for both getting rid of the eyesores, and throwing a damper on their pride.

The subordinate's eyes widened, but he soon lowered his head again.

Prior to becoming an executive in Arangdan, he was also a player who had climbed some floors in The Tower.

No matter how good players were in the tutorial, there was a huge gap between them and players already in The Tower.

When he had first heard of what happened to Kaen, Bild had thought he could easily run Yeon-woo off the road. But now, he couldn't just stand by after all the trouble Yeon-woo had caused.

'Still,  Blood Sword and Foxy Tail, their backgrounds are too big. There's also the possibility of the masked guy being secretly raised by other clans. He must have someone's backing.'

Bild had already excluded the possibility of Yeon-woo being alone. As far as he knew, no player with that level of ability could have been raised without any support.

Bild couldn't look down on his ability to clear the 'Inner Area' as a solo player, even going as far as speedrunning it. So he had to get rid of them as secretly as possible, leaving no evidence behind.

Of course, it wasn't because he was afraid of their background. The power Cheonghwado had in The Tower was really unmatched. It was only because he didn't want to arouse any suspicion from other clans or rankers.

Some clan members had ran into the room chasing after the two players, but most of them were blown away by his aura, and those who weren't still spilt blood and fainted.

The floor was quaking up and down, and the room was reeking of blood.

Kahn drenched in blood and with his blood-soaked Dragon Slayer gave the impression of a demon straight out of hell. This was the 'true' form of Blood Sword that had drawn the attention from various clans and rankers in The Tower.

Bild slowly drew his sword, unveiling his murderous aura. He felt a tingling sensation all over his body. But even so, the sneer on Bild's face grew bigger and bigger.

"I was getting bored stuck in the tutorial. Let's enjoy ourselves, son of the Iron Lion."

While Bild and Kahn were fighting each other, Yeon-woo was reaching the eastern area of Section E.

The lush forest soon came to an end, and the black rocky mountains started to show their spiky heads.

A wide and barren desert. It was the Orcs' territory.

Orcs are monsters that possess a solid physique and muscles with a grimly twisted pig face. They are two meters in size, which is bigger than a Lizardman. Orcs show aggressive behavior towards players, they will run to attack a player as soon as they spot one. This kind of behavior makes it harder for players to hunt them down.

But of course, that did not matter to Yeon-woo even a bit. As he ventured around the eastern desert, four Orcs suddenly jumped at him during their patrol.

*Puck*

But Yeon-woo easily sliced off the gullets of three of the Orcs, and severed the arm and leg muscles of the remaining one and laid him on the floor.

Then he climbed on his body and held a dagger against his neck.

"Chwik! H, human! Strong! S, spare me!"

Players and monsters were alike, they all begged for their lives when facing imminent death.

Yeon-woo asked the Orc with a cold smile on his face.

"I kept you alive because you seemed the smartest of all."

"R, right! Chwik! I, am the smartest, in the tribe! Chwik!"

Orc intensely nodded his head with a pale look.

But the truth was, Yeon-woo randomly picked one out of the four Orcs.

"Let me ask you a question. Have you seen any cottage nearby? It should be somewhere on the rocky mountain or on the branches of a tree."

"W, what? Chwik."

"You better think hard. There are lots of other Orcs around that I can ask."

The Orc then quickly put his brain to work. To survive, he had to remember things in great detail, like what he had eaten five days ago.

The cold blade of the dagger started to slice into the skin on his neck. Blood was dripping out of the wound, but the Orc was too terrified to feel the pain on his throat.

Soon enough, the Orc managed to conjure up a memory he had regarding a house.

"Th, there is one! Chwik! I have never seen it! But my friends were scouting, and they saw a strange house, hanging on the Baotri! But they said, it was too high, so they just came back!"

Beneath the mask, Yeon-woo's eyes shone brightly.

'This must be it.'

It was the place where the helper who would lead him to the hidden piece, Akasha's Snake, lived.

"And where is that?"

The Orc realized that the dagger had stopped digging into his throat, so he quickly answered.

"You have to walk, a little bit left to the sunrise, takes two meals of time."

'Northeast, about half a day from here.'

The Orc then shouted urgently.

"L, let me g... Kuk!"

But he couldn't finish his words.

The dagger penetrated deeply into his neck and cut off his artery.

"Wh, why...?"

With his life fading away, the Orc spat out one last word with the intention to ask why had he killed him despite having answered his question.

"I was only asking you a question, and I didn't say I was going to let you live."

Hearing Yeon-woo's cold reply, the Orc was left in shock as he wheezed out his last breath.

Yeon-woo immediately took out a dagger and began to cut the dead orcs' stomachs open. It was to take their ribs.

As he dissected the carcasses, Yeon-woo meticulously mapped out his future plans.

'Akasha's Snake is a tricky monster. It only shows up at certain times, under certain conditions and circumstances. Without his help, I'll never be able to find it.'


Akasha's Snake was a monster that inhabit deep down under the ground in the eastern desert area. But unlike its name, it was not an ordinary snake.

It was a predator that could swallow and devour everything.


His brother had left various records about Akasha's Snake in his diary. Not just because that was how shocked he had been when he had first faced Akasha's Snake, but also because it was the experience that had helped Arthia become who they were. Yeon-woo was thinking of killing such monster 'on his own'.


Its size was larger than the four or five rocky mountains combined, and its length was immeasurably long. I even wondered how could a monster like that exist in the tutorial.

It was said that Akasha's Snake sometimes had to come out to the surface in order to breathe. It also filled its hungry stomach while it stayed on the surface.

However he had never stepped into The Tower. For decades, he had only stayed in the tutorial that resets every round.

But it wasn't because he wasn't weak. Later on, when his brother looked back after becoming the sixth top ranker in The Tower, Gilliard had never been weaker than the other rankers. He even presumed he could be among the top rankers. If he had left the tutorial and tried to climb the tower... Perhaps Galliard could have climbed higher than his brother.

His brother felt it was a waste to have a player with such great skill stuck in the tutorial.

Galliard just didn't have any reputation in The Tower, but he knew what Galliard would be capable of. So he used pass tickets to try to convince him over and over again, but Galliar refused everytime. When his brother asked for the reason, he never gave him a proper answer. He could only guess that Galliard was trapped by a regretful memory that involved Akasha's Snake, and that the memory was holding him from leaving the tutorial.

'Jeong-woo was able to find Akasha's Snake with the help of his teammates. But I don't have the time to make such preparations, so I'll have to meet up with Galliard and get his help.'

It may have been a precious bond for his brother, but Yeon-woo didn't pay much attention to the fact.

He was going to take whatever he could take from Gilliard.

It's not soft yet not hard, Reminding me of when I fell onto my cushion. Slowly swallowing the mashed ball, a trail of fire goes down my throat.

I try to grasp my neck but I'm still restricted to no limbs.

Upon meeting my stomach, a cooling sensation is felt before getting repeatedly punching me in the stomach. Taking out all of its anger if it had any.

While the trail of fire and punching happens it doesn't stop there, spreading into my non-existing limbs a cutting feeling is felt.

And finally the last piece, my head. A massive headache assaults my fragile mind, crushing my skull and mushing my brain.


The process is so horrendously painful that I can't even scream.

This continues for days. Slowly I'm getting used to the feeling, noticing some changes in my body. My previously crushed limbs are now healed.

But they're riddled with scars from cuts to tears, it looks cool? My sense of thinking is getting changed too.

I feel more inclined to leave here to get out and hunt. Almost as if I have a craving. I guess the power came with a price.

Slowly but surely I was getting better, stronger -smarter even, I was liking it. Finally being able to move from my spot. I slowly stand up.

The previous agonizing pain, gone. Standing up in the pitch-black hole while looking up to the ceiling.

"Time to start climbing." I move towards the bag that I dropped upon falling.  Most of everything got destroyed except for some lighters, rations, glow sticks, and two big pocket knives.

Putting the pocket knives into one of my pockets, only for it to fall out. "No clothes," grabbing the glow stick and breaking it. I start looking around in the corpses.

After a few minutes, I settle on some clothes. Black baggy cargo pants with minimum tears. A white shirt painted red and a black cloak.

Putting everything I needed into the cargo pants big pockets. I look around.

A door?

Walking towards it suddenly a tab pops up.

What the fuck? Reading over the tab, I quickly understand. A system.

I've heard stories about how some S-class Monster hunters have systems but nobody can see it. From what I can see here, it's better for seeing progress while also keeping track of your powers. I mean how would you remember every special attack you can use.

It could be handy in situations too, keeping track of mp and health, so you don't overextend yourself.

A great addition.

Corpse? Turning to where the door is, I'm reminded of the mountain. how am I supposed to fight a corpse? Plus it's not even telling me the level of the corpse, but thinking about it. It couldn't be that hard right?

I mean if I use myself as the baseline, the people there shouldn't be that stronger than me. Right?

Picking the corpse option, the screen on the podium goes straight to black. While the podium starts sinking into the ground, watching it slowly erase itself and any trace of it being in the white room.


Shortly after the podium is gone, a corpse appears In front of me. It's crushed where you can't recognize any of the persons defining features. While looking at the corpse a new tab appears.

Kang chul a new found monster hunter with the unique skill EATER which allows home to eat monsters and humans to get their skills. And he’s able to transform to them too. 

 But what will happen when this new found skill bro ha trouble for him and he will have to come to terms with this skill.

"What is that?!" 

Kristine loudly asked who just got out of the tent and discovered the giant clam.


At first, she just thought someone was practicing magic. However, when her tent got corroded, she knew something was wrong. 

And yes, she's right. However, she didn't expect that it was the monster under the pond who never tried to move ever since they got here. 


"What happened here?!"

Kristine questioned anxiously. 


"It's time for it to get the food it deserves, since we use its area to keep ourselves alive."

Kim Shin explained seriously to Kristine, who was shocked and confuse on what she heard.

Kim Shin said while shaking his head.

"The God of Yggdrasil won't be that kind to help us every time after it used its power to transfer us here? The God of Yggdrasil was probably still recuperating from that act, and the Tutorial Guide won't ever help us. In fact, they want to kill us..."

Kim Shin continued.

Kim Shin immediately said to Kristine, who's focusing intently on his explanations. 

Hearing Kim Shin's words, Kristine deeply nodded her head in understanding.

"B-Big Brother, it's coming! Kyaaaaa!"

Kiarra immediately informed Kim Shin as she cried in fear.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen in you."

Kim Shin comforted Kiarra and quickly prepared for the attack as he positioned his battle axe. 



WHOOSH


Focused looking at the incoming attack, Kim Shin positioned his battle axe blade at his right side on the ground while opening his feet widely and slightly bended his knees.


Beside him where Kristine who's anxiously clenching her rapier. 

And a few feet behind him were Kiarra, who's shaking from fear. 

WHOOSH!

The snake tongue of the clam sped through air as it flashed directly to Kim Shin position.

When the snake tongue was about assault him, Kim suddenly swung his axe upwards that made a 'BAM! Sound when it collided. 



BOOOOM!


Kim was forced to move backwards despite how he successfully parried it.

"Big Brother!!" 

Yelled out by Kiarra when she saw, Kim Shin got pushed back a few yards away. 

BOOM!

WHOOSH!

BOOM!

While Kim Shin was pushed back, Kristine didn't idle. She immediately moved and tried to cut the few meters long snake tongues of the clam monster. 

However; her attack only pierced a few centimeters deep. 


"So hard!" 

Kristine exclaimed in surprised.


WHOOOSH


The venomous snake tongue of the monster furiously slammed to Kristine after it got poked by Kristine's rapier. 

BAM!

'It's also fast!'



Fortunately, Kristine was also a speed type and successfully defended herself. However, she still got blown away by the heavy slam. 

BOOM! 

SCREECH!

A heavy blow was inflicted on the Jade Clam Venomous Snake as it screeched in pain after Kim Shin strongly punches its long tongue.

"You son of a b*tch!" 

Kim Shin cursed as he threw a bunch of powerful blow in the snake tongue after he unequipped his axe. Since he's not comfortable to use an axe, he decided to fight unarmed.

Kim Shin also activated his pseudo dragon body that covered his both fists by black scales and made his fingernails turned to claws of a dragon.

Every punch of Kim Shin was answered by a screeching in pain of the giant clam. 

He couldn't appraise the monster, but he can see the monster's HP. 

So, Kim Shin decided not to think too much and just beat this monster to pulp. 

BOOM!

Finally out of patience, the venomous snake tongue of the monster suddenly flashed back to its clam shell.


"Kristine, escape with Kiarra and other first. I think it's about to shoot a bunch of corrosive water. Don't worry about me." 


Kim Shin immediately ordered as he saw the action of Giant Clam.


"But—" 

Kiarra was about to protest. However, Kristine was too quick for her, and she was grabbed by Kristine. 

"Uwaaa! Don't you dare to die Big Brother?" 

Loudly yelled by Kiarra as they ran. 

"Haha. I won't, since I still have a lot to do..."

Kim Shin replied out loud. However, his voice turned weaker by the end of his words.

The water of the pond started to lessen. Kim Shin was right. 

The Giant Clam was using its giant snake to suck the corrosive water pond. 

'I might get naked if I didn't dodge this carefully'


Kim Shin couldn't help but to think about what happened before. When a lot people died after being washed by the corrosive water. 

However, since he's not gonna die by just corrosive effect of this water. Kim Shin was afraid to fight naked.


WHOOSH! 


With fast movements, Kristine instantly appeared beside Kim Shin. 

"What are you doing here?" 

Kim Shin confusedly asked. Since he already tells them that to hide first. 

"Of course. I'm going to fight. I won't let you have all the experience points and rare items."

Smugly replied by Kristine with a look saying 'I know what are you planning'. 

"Huh. Okay, don't blame me later if you get naked."

And as soon as the fairy's voice came out, everyone didn't say what they were going to and instead focused on the fairy.

One person spat out curses while everyone who had been sighing in relief started to be cautious of everyone else.



And at the same time they looked for the person who was likely to be the weakest of all.




There probably won't be anybody who they can easily.




If they searched then they might find some but most of them had already been dropped off at the 1st tutorial area.




The people here were people who would not die alone, they would at least stab them back before they die.




And because of this, it was important to find the weakest person to attack with the nine and kill them instantly.

This wasn't all that hard to fathom, none of them even knew about colorless runes much less possessed them. The V who gained one more colorless rune after 3 days was unstoppable, it was agility after all. 


Agility was quite unique.



The user's time twists and it becomes 0.1 times faster and their reaction speed becomes faster as well as the same movement being slightly faster.



As agility rises, the user started to live in a different dimension. At the colorless level, even more so.

With only 1 year of experience one can kill 100 of them very easily. So despite the bad situation, it could be worse.

V looked down on the corpses he just dropped, they weren't even worthy of using poison. He collected all the runes, ignoring the ones he couldn't use efficiently as his were already colorless.


It was nice if you could kill a colorless creature and gain a colorless rune you didn't already have, perhaps it would bring the stat to colorless immediately. However, the Otherworld wasn't such an easy place, what if a clan lord hunted and collected colorless runes and gave them to members of his clan to become stronger.




Obviously that wasn't possible, colorless runes could only be used if you had one in the first place, so were colorless artifacts which needed at least one colorless rune to use.



But that might not be true after all as Hansoo was a benefit of such actions once himself. A colorless rune was needed to defeat a colorless level beast so no clan lord could mass kill colorless level beasts to give runes to his clansmen while at the first tutorial and early second tutorial.



The Altar beast was the prime example. 70 people together couldn't defeat that thing. Granted a clan working together might do better but most would still die and it was quite odd to awaken the Lord trait and bring it to the level of recruiting 70 or more in the first tutorial area, it was nigh impossible since it was a stretch for 70 to be alive at all.



That video clip was probably the maximum number over all 20 years.



But it should be possible, after all there were many cases of people being chased up to the next zone, those people probably hadn't maxed out their runes if so, how did they survive the zone. It was highly likely that one higher leveled rune could bring a lower leveled stat up to its level.




He absorbed the runes of stats that hadn't reached 100 and stored the rest on his wrist.




After extensive hunting, he found out that his prior assumptions were wrong, A goblin wasn't equivalent to 0.1 runes, there were cases where monsters have even 0.4 runes or even 1 if he was lucky which was common these days, stats were completely random in both type and quantity.




However discrepancies between stats weren't suitable for battle, all stats should be at the same level for optimal performance.




 He planned to retrieve 'that' creature and bring all his stats to one level.




He calmly trodded out the room with a figure behind him.

A road where you had to go from the 1000 starting points and head towards the topmost single area.



There wasn't only one path.



It was a setup where you would get split up and collide into the people from other starting points.




The room they were previously at was currently floating high up in the sky.



A scene that would turn make an acrophobiac shrivel up.



A vast sea could be seen thousands of meters below and in the distance outside the white room a large floating island that seemed much larger than a 5km² area.




There was a long bridge connecting their room and the island.



A few other rooms just like his were also connected to the island and there were many other islands floating about the same height as theirs.




And the thousands of islands that were floating above them in layers.



The people  who got this far cried out in gloom as they saw the islands that looked like stairs but too far apart to be called stairs.

Move by moving between the islands floating in the air.



And continue to climb higher and higher.
Every island had rewards you could attain and had special rules or beasts.



Though there was something very unique about it.


'First the <Rune Eater Snake>'

Minerva was separated from her clan but they could still communicate through her symbol.  She gave them strict orders to find women to enhance the clan strength. Her current roommates consisted of a mixed crowd.




There was a manish tanned woman holding a huge axe. A fellow with shifty eyes and a bald head. A scarred man. Two other women and the remaining were men. She couldn't immediately recruit all women into her group. She must judge them worthy to give her back to them. 


So for now..... She would wait and see.




Everyone started to introduce themselves as did she to leave a good impression on the women, just in case they were worthy.


"I think we should work together as a group to find a path out of this place, After all, they put us together for a reason we should...."

Before Minerva's words were finished, a faint tremble was felt from the island.



While everyone got shocked and grabbed onto the side rails, a fairy's voice was heard from above them.

If they can't climb up fast enough, then they would fall along with this island.

Since it looked like they were all from different tutorial areas and were strangers, she established her dominance first. The scarred man had an input as anyone could see she was attempting to lead.

Everyone warily held their weapons but didn't attack. She was the one who killed the two in their room of 11 by herself, They didn't see it necessary to refute, as it was truly a good option to work together.



They nodded and followed behind her, She spoke through her lord symbol to her 14 students,


<Have strength. It seems like that we can meet each other at the top. Make sure to survive and come up. And keep as much alive as you can. We need to raise our numbers and recruit as many strong people as we can.>

10 white rooms with the Dormant Volcano as the center and forked roads that connected 498 beast habitats and everything else.



So as long as you follow the path as you memorized than you could find the forest.



And as soon as the fork on the road appeared, Verathragna smoothly turned right after checking his glasses.


The danger was similar no matter which path you took and eventually you will end up on the center where you can move to a different island.


'Rune Pattern Snake'



A unique beast that gained extra stats depending on the pattern on its skin.



The annoying part was that the patterns kept changing.



And if there are mana rune patterns on its body one also needed to be careful of the poison.



Once you get bitten while it had mana runes up then you will be poisoned with a toxin that will steadily burn your own mana.



And whilst the mana burned, your magic power as well as health were also affected.




Of course it didn't burn until you died and the effects will disappear after some time but by the time the effects disappear, you will have become quite a mess.




The bark of the oak tree which it lived in had some sort of antidote-like effect due to it being rubbed against its scales but it was best to just not get bitten by it at all.

An above average business man who strove for riches was reborn possessing it and everything he ever wanted.


He thought it was just a world that was the mirror image of the 21st century he once lived in with a few differences but this world had a calamity brewing on the horizon.


A wave swept through the world, a wave which swallowed it whole, a wave that started with an insignificant number,


..0.

It was finally dark and everything was once again quiet. This was the second night that Tang Gon returned from the tutorial land and also the night that the functions of the system were restored. 
It felt different for the most part, but Tang Gon felt safer in the wild now that there were fewer things he had to be wary of. The only real concern he had was avoiding the larger animals and the several sentry posts he saw during the day.
There were only a few people posted in each beacon tower, but there were several large teams that reported in. There were at least twenty of these groups in each camp and they were not there for decoration. It was clear that the people stationed were armed as well as the groups being sent out.
Even the smallest member of a group was on guard and constantly alert to the dangers in the forest. Their job required them to be aware of their surroundings and the events happening in the forest in preparation for the overflows that followed. It was this responsibility of carrying the weight of thousands of lives that made them careful and cautious of their every action.
Whatever the case may be, Tang Gon was unbothered and decided that this had nothing to do with him at the moment as he searched for a cave to spend the night. There was still the other issue of naming his summons, but that can be pushed down on his list of priorities. For now, he was out of danger and it was time to sleep. 
Somehow, the opening of the chest had taken more energy out of him than all the days inside the tutorial combined, but with the functions of the system unlocked, Tang Gon was able to sleep another night in peace. This time it was the Frigid Ice Shadow Demon that watched over Tang Gon as he slept. 
"You were always the quiet one."
"I never meant to come between you and him."
"Why didn't he come and talk to me himself."
"I'm your daughter."
"I'm telling you - the guy was a complete stranger, just walked up and gave me the bag."
"He couldn't have died at a worse time."
"You think I'm being paranoid but the truth is I'm worth a lot more to her dead than alive."
The next morning, the Frigid Ice Shadow Demon returned back to the system and Tang Gon walked out. It was another bad dream and the migraine he had was getting worse.
He thought he had already left the past behind, but it looks like the stress had finally broken through and gotten to him. It felt like the nightmares were only waiting at the worst times, hoping to go in for the final hit. However, this was not to say that the nightmares were anything new, rather they were recurring ever since the third trip to the tutorial land. They became a lot clearer as time passed and crystal since the fog where the majority of his memories had by then surfaced.
The voices in his dream were still present and sounded out in Tang Gon's head as he got up. The memories from the past were resurfacing with greater frequency with every passing dream. They were slightly jumbled, but they were a lot clearer than before. 
The dreams were hardly noticeable at first with the amount of focus and energy Tang Gon spent on surviving and living his life freely, but there was no question that they were back. Ever since he left the tutorial land and the function of the summons were returned, Tang Gon had lost the constant state of vigilance he kept during the trip with the Glycides.
However, he was now more energetic and content than before. The current mission was to find Brooke, but Tang Gon felt that it was too early to make any searches as he still needed time to clear his head.
Nothing much had changed, but Tang Gon was definitely annoyed with how everything happened. Sweat continued to cover his body and Tang Gon could only ask the system for the path to the lake. This time, the trip felt a lot faster and took an hour to get there.
The lake was rather far from the cave, but Tang Gon felt that it was worth the trip. There was still that health potion that Tang Gon could take to eliminate the migraine he had, but he was stubborn and wanted to persist against the pain without using his newly acquired treasure. Not to mention, the migraine was only a minor one and he felt fine otherwise.
The lake helped in lowering his temperature and relaxing his body. The migraine lessened quite a bit, but the rumbling of his stomach topped everything including the migraine and the sore sensation he felt around his neck.
Tang Gon summoned the Pyromanian Snake and sent it looking for some food while he went looking for a place to sleep. 
Half an hour later, Tang Gon woke up smelling the freshly roasted meat. The Pyromanian Snake that Tang Gon sent out had returned carrying as much food as possible. There was a bag that Tang Gon gave out earlier that was brimming with fruits, but it looked like the bag was not enough to carry everything. The rest of the food was carried over in the hands of the Pryomanian Snake. All sorts of food could be seen in its arms, swung over its back, and even resting on its sword.
It was more than enough for Tang Gon to feast for several days and it looked like the Pyromanian Snake was also hungry. Happily, Tang Gon summoned the rest of his monsters and joined them in their feast. 
There was so much variety in the food despite being out here in the wild. Fruits of all sorts were tossed in the air and gone the next. The Amazonian Death Tiger similar to the Pyromanian Snake dove straight in while ignoring the looks of contempt given by the Frigid Ice Shadow Demon.
The only one that was absent was the Flaming Swordsman, but he was currently sealed and Tang Gon was helpless. He could only think of a way to make it up to him in the future.
On the other hand, he had fewer mouths to feed and more to eat. Not to mention that he had the system to take care of his summons, there was no way that it would let them die of starvation. Looking at the rest of his summons, happily plowing through the food, Tang Gon could only guess at what they typically ate. 
However, once he saw the pile of food soon disappearing, Tang Gon joined back in. There was even bread, slightly rough on the outside but soft, buttery, and airy on the inside. Tang Gon could even see a hard sweet glaze on the outside of some. 
It was pretty impressive that the Pyromanian Snake was able to gather so much in such a short time and also be able to bring it over. It was only slightly larger than Tang Gon and only had two arms to carry everything, but the amount of food it brought was acceptable in the eyes of the other two summons. 
The Frigid Ice Shadow Demon even took a physical form made of ice to help in eating everything, but where the food went, Tang Gon did not want to know. In under twenty minutes, the remainder of the food was finished and the three summons laid around Tang Gon basking in the wind.
Tang Gon had joined late in the eating feast because he was worried about the Flaming Swordsman so he was still slightly hungry. Looking at the rest laying around and unwilling to move, Tang Gon could only call out to the system.
"Food?" 
Uncertainty filled the air, but Tang Gon was rewarded the next second with a screen of food items. Tang Gon was surprised, but he happily began to look through the list of foods. 
Everything imaginable was provided and Tang Gon quickly went ahead and praised the system. It was already amazing enough that it could provide him with all kinds of cheats, but it was even more amazing that the system could add in these other options.
It seemed that the system was truly all mighty as it could literally provide him with everything he wanted including food. 
"Food is God. God is the System. The system is food." Tang Gon, happily muttered underneath his breath. All of a sudden, Tang Gon became serious as he focused straight ahead while looking in anticipation of what was to come next. 
To anyone looking, it might have seemed that something major had happened, but all that could be heard was Tang Gon's continued muttering. The only thing in Tang Gon's mind was "What's good?"
Tang Gon truly believed that this was one of the most important decisions that he was ever going to make in his life. The food wasn't free, it would cost him quite a bit of Clicker Points, but Tang Gon was one of the most frightening and proudest races in the world, a foodie. 
There was nothing more difficult in the world than asking a foodie to choose one item when several options could be seen. This was even more difficult when the system released thousands of options for Tang Gon to choose from.
Tang Gon, completely ignoring the judging eyes of his summons continued looking at all his options. There was even a search bar near the top of the interface, making this system even more godly than any other. 
However, when Tang Gon looked at the search bar, it only caused Tang Gon to further scrunch his brows. Taking a deep breath in, Tang Gon resolutely selected some favorites and started to choose even more items before returning back to the meat section.
By now the summons was wide awake as they watched every action made by Tang Gon. Even the Amazonian Death Tiger that was lying lazily near the entrance crouched nearer to Tang Gon and watched as he browsed the shop. The screen was currently loading as fast as it could, but Tang Gon was the only one waiting patiently while the rest were glaring at the screen as if to force it to load faster.
Soon a variety of raw meat covered the screen ranging from common animals that could be found in typical markets to rare and exotic meats with some that could only be found in this world. It looked like anything and everything could be found in the system shop as long as it could be found.
There were so many types of meat that covered the screen and dazzled the Amazonian Death Tiger. Going further down the list, there were even some fantasy foods that looked oddly familiar. From left to right, there was a Two-horned Jaguar, Queen Hornet, Slime, and even a Snow Gator that could be found.
Who knew that slimes even had meat, but according to the system's description, they had an energy core that was very similar. This was the lower limit of how amazing the System was. Somehow it was even able to extract meat from slimes. Although Tang Gon was not adventurous enough to try these exotic foods, the Amazonian Death Tiger was drooling with anticipation.
Feeling a bit exasperated by the actions of his summon, Tang Gon could only close the shop. But when faced with the teary, eyed look, he could only comply and continue browsing.

When the items arrived in his inventory, Tang Gon went ahead and pulled them out under the urging of those nearby. Tang Gon was already excited and looking at the size of each individual rib that stretched taller than Tang Gon himself, they all cheered.
Tang Gon started pulling out the equipment but was only met with stares of contempt from his summons as they distanced themselves. However, once Tang Gon started to pull out the rest of the ingredients and the side dishes, the big glutton next to him would drool a bit and give a small dance around Tang Gon. 
Everything looked divine, but at the same time, Tang Gon started to question the quality of items given by the system. There had to be an explanation for why everything looked so fabulous and delectable. However, there was no doubt that the system was a professional and that the quality of items should never be doubted. 
Thinking that he had been wrong, Tang Gon started to think about what he could do with the ribs. Thinking for a while, Tang Gon could already imagine the tenderness of the juicy meat, the spices from the dry rub that would trap the juices inside, and the explosion of flavors after each individual bite. Then there would be a section of the ribs that would be slightly charred making the rib give off a kick only to further enhance the flavors with the spicy, sweet outer sauce. Godly. That was what it was, godly.
Every item from the system could only be the best of the best. This was not a cooking system, but it would be such a waste if it wasn't used to the fullest of his ability. Tang Gon ultimately decided that he would not stop until he finished creating those ribs. 
The gluttons next to him would also strongly support him as there was no way they would let food escape from their mouths.
